1461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if all the currencies in the movie are Bitcoin? on: July 11, 2021, 03:27:43 PM
I do hope that we can understand for a fact that we cannot live in Bitcoins entirely. There are places where it would be a big problem. In places where it's not really a big deal to use online cryptos and the local businesses have not integrated themselves with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies right now, it's a really big deal.

But it would definitely be an amazing step if in the future such things are done since people would not actually watch the news but they would rather see the movies and videos. So I do think that this does not only depend on companies making the films but also the cultural influence, how the whole culture is accepting Bitcoins. We have to still wait for a fully fledged society to do such thing.
1462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: have you ever play or won from a crypto exchange lottery? on: July 11, 2021, 03:38:49 AM
I have not played any crypto lottery before since I have played a number of other lotteries and as it turns out they are not so "profitable". Plus the saying of "you have more chances of getting hit by the lightning ⚡ as compared to winning the lottery" seems right to me, since most lotteries these days are very competitive. At the same time there are so many people. The random generator or whatever these guys use to enlist the winners just doesn't work for me. Therefore instead of playing lotteries I would rather save that money and buy something for the long term. But take no offence, I know I am not lucky but that is not the case with everyone else around here. Maybe someone might win, who knows ?
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: How long will it take for CBDCs to become a reality? on: July 10, 2021, 06:51:26 PM
What the government wants us to think is that "they would be very similar to cryptocurrencies and could also replace them" but at the same time I do think that people understand for a fact that cryptocurrencies as a whole are way different as compared to what these new series of Fiat are trying to achieve. I do think that in countries where they have been going on about trying to ban bitcoins they are already one step ahead and are preparing to launch the digital currencies in the time being. At the same time their actions are being halted because of pandemic. When we talk about countries like El Salvador I do think that they would not go too much in with the crypto business.
What we do need to do is state out the fact that "these central bank currencies are no way similar to cryptocurrencies" as much as we can to generate the general awareness.
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Microsoft Is Using Bitcoin to Help Build a Decentralized Internet on: July 10, 2021, 06:24:34 PM
Firstly , Bitcoins and Blockchain are very different things. At the same time I do think you have to understand for a fact that sometimes people usually interrelate them more than they are supposed to be interrelated. Therefore I feel like, if I he name "blockchain" is going to pop up places then people will be also comfortable with "Bitcoins" a little more.

It's not about bitcoins being popular, it's about crypto base being used for by most of the major companies which is not only positive but it will also help them grow with the time. As we all know that blockchain is being used almost everywhere.. the implications are numerous, what's needed is a good push start to make it integrate into the whole system. Maybe this news might do it.

-More or so be it "blockchain" or "bitcoins" both are profitable for the community if used properly. We need to carefully examine the whole process in detail, the positive, the negative feedbacks, how the people respond to this step and what positive effects it brought in their lives.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What does it take for a game to "hook" people on: July 10, 2021, 05:32:03 PM
I am asking this because I do have some short of an answer for videogames and for massive multiplayer games and even for social network oriented games. Videogames require a great design, good difficulty grading, an story that engages the user, massive multiplayer and network oriented are a lot about the interactions and how varied and fun these are. However, for casino games, it would seem that these factors are not really the most important ones. You can see games with very basic graphics and design, simple in the options for the player and not that engaging yet they do "hook" people in them.
What do these games have to have for you?

For me some of the things would be :
1. High profits
2. Good Animations
3. The game should be simple/ easy to understand
4. It should be fair
5. The whole site itself should provide low transfer fee
6. For me I get hooked up on games , the games in which I made huge profits in once. Maybe beginners luck idk.

Other than that biologically as the person said *Adrenaline* is actually something that hooks up not just gambling addicts but all the addicts. The brain is a complex organ which will hook you up with anything that makes it easy for you to avoid some negative emotions/situations.
1466  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Games that still pay Bitcoin? on: July 10, 2021, 04:22:30 PM
I do remember the time when we used to play faucets but I do think that if you try playing faucets right now they will pay you "very less" at the same time the sites which engage users with faucets are super fishy, they will redirect you in seconds anywhere.

At the same time you can always gamble with some online games using bitcoins that will enable you to use Bitcoins as the wager and maybe if you are skilled and lucky you can win at last. Other than that I do not think that any other game that pays you for free in Bitcoins will be worth it. I have tried a lot over the years , there was a site on the forum where you had to do micro tasks and then you get rewarded in Bitcoins. That is also an option but then again tasks can be lengthy.
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, you want to get sued by a scammer? on: July 10, 2021, 03:30:43 PM
Exactly why Mr. Satoshi never choose to reveal his identity. He is behaving like a kid hungry for attention and at the end of the day when you are not getting any, you have to start up new things go stir things up. I do believe that last time when the government decided to hold him accountable, it was not a good lesson for him therefore he needs a little more pat in the back again.

I don't see how we little people can oppose what Faketoshi does - and we all know that he can't possibly be Satoshi even in some parallel universe
The best tool we have is mockery.

Among well informed people they look at Wright and see an obvious fraud-- so they turn away: nothing to see here.  But people who don't know better are fooled. Reliably.  They might believe a "lite" version of his scam-- like that he was involved and was exaggerating his involvement, or that he wasn't satoshi but really had 111k BTC that was stolen from him---- and a big part of that is because Wright's paid press activities are substantial, while the opposition is mostly silent and uncoordinated.

We need to all go out and make sure that the whole world knows that wright and his congames are jokes.

But that also won't take him long to be back in the game. He will come to harass people again really fast. I do think that people have to reverse complain against him.
1468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most profitable gambling strategies, what are they? on: July 09, 2021, 06:47:21 PM
I know that strategy will only help us have a better chance of winning something from gambling. But in the end I dare say that no strategy will benefit us in the long term.

Of the many strategies I have used, I have never managed to win more than $200 during a playing session. I'm sure you all have different experiences with me because maybe you have a different gambling style than me. In the short term, can you tell me what strategy managed to make you win over $200 over the course of the game?

I do not think that martingale would be my pick. I do think that the when you are gambling the only strategy that would save you millions along your life would be "knowing when to stop"

Which does mean whenever you know you are financially not capable of gambling you have to leave it out of your routine. It also will save you from getting addicted to it.

I do think that crash is not something that you mess with, continuously using crash game is something that I would not recommend doing. You can try dice. It's much less profitable but at the same time your chances of winning are higher.
1469  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Bitcoin be infinite? on: July 09, 2021, 06:11:22 PM
The Simpsons, in an episode of the 32nd season, data on the virtual market shows that the development of Bitcoin is a symbol of infinity. For us, green means rising.
Do you think Bitcoin will be unlimited in the future?

Hello
So you are one of those who believe that Simpsons can predict the future. Well for the time being I do not think that they can but on the matter of Bitcoins being ♾️ I do believe in that a bit. Since we have limited number of Bitcoins even if we follow the demand and supply simplistic version we would be able to see that in the coming time with more development and with more people accepting cryptocurrencies, we will see the graph go straight up. Which is already something that most people know therefore there is the existence of #HODL. Just using the common logic I do believe that  bitcoins will go way higher than anything, some people might call it infinity who knows?
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak Calls Bitcoin a "Miracle," Says It's Better Than Gold on: July 09, 2021, 05:06:30 PM
I agree with him but I do not agree the reason he is putting forth. Honestly gold is actually scarce at places and the value changes internationally very often. When we talk about bitcoins I for sure consider bitcoins to be superior as compared to other things and at the same time, some of my reasons are :
1. Potential of growth of Bitcoins is far more as compared to other valuable metals like : Gold.
2. It does not dip that bad but on the other hand with Bitcoins the dios can actually actually be turned into a good thing really easily.
3. You do not have a starting value with Bitcoins therefore it's very convenient for everyone.
4. You can not only use it as an investment but also pay for with it.

Let us look at the graph of both of them :

I do think we can easily see who achieved greater profits and gave people more chances to buy and hold.

1471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: signs of gambling addiction on: July 09, 2021, 04:33:32 PM
I will quote here a paragraph that would be useful for most people here.

Let's talk about the reasons why people develop gambling addiction:
Quote
Overcoming social isolation by visiting betting shops or casinos
To feel a rush of adrenaline and dopamine as a ‘happy’ brain chemical release
Numb, unpleasant feelings and problems which cannot be easily resolved
Boredom and a desire to pass the time
Relax and unwind after a stressful day

Now there are some symptoms that you can look for :
Quote
A preoccupation with gambling and loss of interest in other aspects of life, such as ignoring family responsibilities and focusing only on the results of gambling
Loss of control and being unable to manage impulsive urges to gamble even when the odds are against you
Increasing the amount of money used to gamble in order to pay for lost bets or to experience the thrill
A negative impact upon relationships with those closest to you. Losing a partner as a result of a gambling addiction is very common due to the strains and burdens that problem gambling places on a relationship
Problems within the workplace which could include an increased workload, absence from work or general lack of concentration which makes it difficult to complete tasks sufficiently
Concealing the amount of money and time spent betting from family members. The secrecy that is often involved in problem gambling leads to a lack of trust and often further problems at home
Denial that you have a problem with gambling is a great concern as the first step to recovery is accepting that you have a problem

There are also a number of quizzes that you can take online if you suspect yourself having a gambling addiction and many of them are helpful too.

At the same time if you are wondering about the fact if you have a gambling probelm of no I do think that you already do.

1472  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the Bitcoin Giant Whale worthy of our respect? on: July 09, 2021, 04:00:30 PM
There is honestly nothing wrong being rich and investing in the market big time. The fact is what you do with that money will not only influence your life but also the life of many small investors. Some of the people who are big time holders are really good. They not only help stabilize the market but at the same time they also help in long term gains.

I am not saying this is the case with every whale out there but some of them are actually essential for the whole market. Consider Elon Musk :- I do not respect the man for what he did for the market. But he did make some people rich with his market Manipulation, now those who were able to gain a lot would worship him. This is a matter of opinion. For the bitcoin community he did terrible things.

Every investor have the choice to use their investments the way they desire but at the end of the day we will only see very few rich people with morals, maybe it's their lack of morals which makes them rich. Who knows.

1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you a gambler? on: July 05, 2021, 06:16:12 PM
When you talk about it, it depends. I am not a regular gambler, whenever I have some extra money it never hurts to try my luck. There have been times where I earned a lot from minor investments in gambling but at the same time I have even lost a lot. Therefore right now during the pandemic. I only have gambled like 5-6 times. I do gamble but not frequently. At the same time when you talk about gambling, it is indeed interesting, the amount of money you can make in second is something that I think shines for everyone. I remember once I doubled what I deposited and then just used it all up on weird things since it was more like easy money. I am not good with sports gambling since I do not get much time to sit and focus on sports on a regular basis but I would love to if I do get some time in the future. When you talk about posts for signature campaign requirements I do think one has to understand how it works, for mine you only need like 5 and it's easy to find interesting topics here to indulge in.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a true decentralized currency? on: July 05, 2021, 05:17:07 PM
The whale manipulates its value and is so easily manipulated. Is this decentralization?
As long as we are living in a society with economic disparity and with such a little redistribution of wealth. Along with the corrupt governments who are too scared to let anyone come and steal their power. I do think we will have to deal with probelms related to true decentralization. People will use anything :
Money
Power
Fame
Who knows what else ? Everyone's goal is to make a lot of bucks, they are not even happy if they are in the world's richest top 10! There will always be something that they could not achieve. Therefore they will use anything that they can make money out of and during the pandemic *bitcoins* seems like the target for such people. We are not only dealing with people like Elon Musk using something as simple as twitter, but we are dealing with governmental laws here!! We will never achieved complete decentralization for sure. We do need an ideal world for it which is too far from the reality.
1476  Economy / Economics / Re: Jeff Bezos and many top amazon executives leave in mass exodus on: July 05, 2021, 04:24:57 PM
Do start up founders time the market for their exit to correspond with significantly diminishing business conditions.
I doubt this is the case as some start up founder kickstart an idea inorder to sell it as they've accepted they do not have the means to scale. In this scenario, you'll need to time your exit for the best possible time inorder to get the best possible bargain out of a deal.
Unfavourable conditions could be a reason why one steps down from leadership, but I don't think it relates to most founders.

For those who invest or have an interest in stocks, would you recommend fading amazon stock under the expectation that whoever replaces Jeff Bezos and departing execs will be unable to fill their shoes.
I do not invest or have a deep interest in stocks, but I would not expect whoever replaces Bezos and the other excos to fail at filling the shoes, they could come with fresh ideas that will benefit the company positively and have had years to study the business model of their predecessors.

Jeff Benzos decided to step down way back and if I remember there was a article published back in February where he stepped down from his everyday duties and at the same time the article mentioned how they are thinking of using other technologies like delivery by drones etc . I do believe that we might see them happening soon. At the same time the new CEO have to answer to a lot of people, as you can see that the HR department of Amazon has a lot of probelms. The smaller workers have a lot of complaints since way back, maybe the new CEO can finally focus on that.

Apparently the guy who is taking over Amazon has been serving Amazon since a long time in the web service department and his name is Andy jassy, well he is someone who is not so well known but at the same time I believe the guy needs a chance, he is already very well familiar with the whole system and he can now proceed to give new ideas for the company. Let's see how well he does. Now we are entering a whole new era and I do Believe Amazon would have to continue to improve.

Benzos have everything that he ever wished for now and the guy wants to focus on new products and other new initiatives. I do wonder what will happen to stocks though. He left Amazon at a high time but the decision was made way before so I believe if we did not see a downturn we won't be seeing one now.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Million dollar win on $15 parlay whoa on: July 05, 2021, 03:50:22 PM
what the heck is that  Shocked Shocked Shocked Is he a prophet? Oh my god! Parlay bets are not too strange, but parlay bets with 6 win conditions, and 4 of them are championships? It really is a crazy thing  Shocked Shocked Shocked Unbelievable! Great! There are no words to describe this sublimation  Shocked He is really cool! Really! He's cool for making such a terrible bet. Although the amount he bet was not large, meaning without any hesitation, if he lost, it was okay. But the crazy thing is he hit them all, there were four championships there. He's a prophet, lol  Cool I guess we can call him one of the luckiest

I think the guys knew how lucky he was when move forward with such complicated options. Winning normally would have been other thing, but he just did something so complicated!! Winning so much in a row ! Dang! The anxiety of such complicated parlay is honestly nerve wreaking. You have to sit and wait for each of them to hit but viola!

The odds too are not something made in Gold. It indeed was a difficult job to pursue. I do hope that the most of the winning are not taken by state in name of the tax. I think he was not only lucky but knowledgeable too.

I do hope that he does not spend all this money on making more bets and invest in real estate or something and settle down.

1478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin brings us true freedom of thought on: July 05, 2021, 03:21:58 PM
A very well written post. I do believe that what you are referring to is something that everyone can relate with. People did not have any option before bitcoins and after it's creation they get to decide what they do with their own money. Banks are a much needed asset but they do not have any scope of further growth. Plus with all the rules and the manipulations, it's getting harder for people to trust on them, yet alone invest. At the same time their credibility have taken the biggest hit during the pandemic. We are seeing the collapse of world's biggest economies and bitcoins might be the only way out if the situation becomes dire.
1479  Economy / Economics / Re: Die today, Die tommorrow, the same dying! still get vaccinated! on: July 05, 2021, 02:49:06 PM
A really weird post.
I do think that when we have to address vaccination, it's definitely very important. They way I see it, vaccination is the only way to get the jobs going on track again. Not that people are still not working but at the same time the limitations have exhausted the output one can infer.
I do think that we have to be more sensitive when we talk about demise. This is honestly something that is going to affect everyone that you care about. At the same time one does not have to leave their bitcoins or other cryptocurrencies with anyone else since in most wallets there is now an option where you can transfer it to someone after your death. Much like bank accounts. But I do think that are the end of the thing. Vaccination is important and one has to understand for a fact that people who are able to get it for free are actually getting a great deal. The other important thing is getting the second dose, which is going to strengthen it even further. But I have my own doubts about the Chinese vaccination that they are giving away to countries. They just passed the ball mark at the same time you would need more than 2 doses but since it's limited people are not even aware of that.
Get vaccinated for sure but do your research!! At the same time I do believe that pandemic might not be a time to get rich or accumulate money but you for sure can strengthen your mindset and work on family relationships. More is so this is also an important part of the future of the economy. I do believe that only a healthy mind can deliver healthy and fruitful results.
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Feedback on the Blackjack Trainer by Bojoko on: July 05, 2021, 01:42:13 PM
I did go through the whole thing , what I do think is it is perfect for people who already know a little bit of black jack but not for people who are blank since I do think they might have to download the application which I did not do therefore I can only provide input on the site.
It's short and to the point but I do think it needs more explanation. Are the same time I think you can start with the basics then go further because as I see the basics are in the middle. Other than that it's really helpful and at the same time the animation is minimalistic which is extremely good. You are keeping it free for the people therefore kudos to that too. Overall I liked the site and it was helpful for most parts.
Good work.
Best of luck for the future.
