2441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: another bullrun before 2021 ends on: June 24, 2021, 06:21:01 PM
80k is too high and i think it won't happen on this year, we better to just aiming for btc back in 50k before the year ends. Just like the 4 year cycle of btc, early of the year the price will crash and it's time for buying more before we sell it 4 years later  Grin
To each their own but I do not think it makes sense at all that what we are seeing is the end of the bull market, to me this is just a way for the whales to scare those that have weak hands and get their coins in an easy way, if this continues I am sure some people will begin to sell and then they will miss the bull run that will come next and they will lament to have sold their coins so early but since this happens every time there is a bull run you have nothing to worry as long as you are not one of those people.
People had already aware of the situation, the bullish and the bearish season will certainly come. But the problem is that we sometimes get influence by the people around us, plus the FUDS that we heard. We are totally disturbed, this makes sometimes we can't make the right decision but mostly we have driven by our fear. That is why often heard and see weak hands sell their coins when they saw the market is dropping as it was because of their emotions. And if the situation gets worse, most probably never see another Bullrun this year.

Clippers vs Suns game 2.

CP3 will play daw sa game 3, https://www.si.com/nba/2021/06/23/chris-paul-return-game-3-suns-clippers

By the way, congrats sa Hawks, good win, Trae Young ang naging best player sa laro na yon.

Ohh thanks, wow! I'm surprised the Philippines were able to compete with China well, this young lineup is really legit, China is a superior team and yet they were able to tie the score in this tune-up game. I would say, we have a good future ahead. Kail Sotto leads the Gilas with 13 points, this guy is not overrated.

Not at all, Kai Sotto is silently working and he's doing the job so well. The cadets are really performing they almost win the game based from some videos from youtube.

This newly formed team if being guided by veterans and jive well with the system.
The future of Gilas is really far, we have that glimpse from how they are working right now.

To be able to compete with China which we were bully by that team before is a big achievement. The current lineup is full of strength and they are hungry to win because they are well motivated due to the support of the Filipino fans. The success of Gilas is the success of the Philippines so they are really working hard.

Looking forward for more success and more pride for our country.
That's 100% if we work for the same coach.

Agree to that and hopefully he won't be replaced by Chot Reyes, former team Gilas head coach and incoming or coming back coach of TNT.

This squad is fully motivated and they are displaying great talents, bringing more fans to start watching and believing again after that controversial fight against the Aussie.

After that good line up, the following Gilas sadly failed the expectations. Now that this newly formed young cadets are performing with the coach that they  really respect,  it's really nice to see them playing with high hopes of keeps on winning.

Even the coach himself exceeded his expectation on the current Gilas line up.

GILAS Pilipinas coach Tab Baldwin is a hard man to please, but he admitted Gilas Pilipinas exceeded his expectations inside the Clark bubble ahead of the Fiba Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Belgrade.

"I was pretty realistic coming in," Baldwin said. "And my expectations weren't very high, so the fact that they've exceeded my expectations doesn't take any of the pressure off from trying to make progress in every practice and in every game."

It's really great to see this kind of news as this only means one thing, the current Gilas roster is working hard and they are fighting to win against any team. They are like the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA where people does not believe could upset a great teams but they did.
2444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Cryptocurrency a Good Investment? on: June 23, 2021, 11:19:19 PM
Cryptocurrency in India: Today, some of the most popular cryptocurrencies are Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, XRP, Tether, and Cardano.
If there is no problem in your country in doing this, then help yourself to start buying cryptocurrency while prices are still in cheap.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who can really afford to take a risk. But first, you will need to ask yourself then if you are ready enough because this is risky and you might lose everything you started if you were not able to manage it carefully. A lot of people make a good money in here but many were also lose their money.
2445  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daytrading vs Holding on: June 23, 2021, 10:52:42 PM

However, what if the crypto or stock increases like 50% or even double in a few days time or weeks time etc?  Yea so you are paying a lot in taxes if you trade... but if you wait for a year or longer, now you could have no gains or just 5% gain.  Whereas you trade for a few days and make 50%... sure you pay a lot in short term capital gains... but if after a year, the gain is only 5%, well you made more trading than holding.

There is no specific time until when you just hold. They hold for some reason and one is that to wait until the next Bullrun will come, it takes months or years depending on the situation. The good thing about holding is less stress for the holders, they just sit and wait for the perfect time to sell and make a profit from it.

While day trading, you have to check and work it every day at your trades. Honestly, it is a stressful job. Let us say that we can possibly make a huge money in trading for a shorter time but we can't decline also the possibility that we might lose huge money in a single day. It finds to be riskier and this makes some people to outplay in trading but instead to choose to just hold only.
2446  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc down trend are started ? on: June 23, 2021, 01:24:15 PM
The downtrend of Bitcoin has been ongoing for a few weeks now and as it stands its a general situation as most cryptocurrency are on the same path. I don't think it's the end of the road as there's still a huge possibility that we're going through the correction stage which is a normal phase
Call the current situation a correction stage already so we will have peace of mind, a correction always happens after a bull run and we just witnessed a bull run this year so we might see the correction until next year if we based the trend on the last 2017 bull run. There's nothing to be panic about, the market is still here, it's still profitable to trade if you know how to predict its price volatility.

For long-term investors, still, the same method will be effective to you, and that is to HODL!
2447  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are all altcoins dependent on Bitcoin? on: June 23, 2021, 01:02:01 PM
I want to understand if all altcoins are built upon the foundation of BTC. This is because when there is severe crash of BTC, all other coins, I mean all, also crash.

Is there no independence in the cryptocurrency world?

Thank you!

Most altcoins have no real connection to BTC, except their pairing on exchanges.
When BTC starts dropping, people usually exit alts and try to buy BTC at lower prices, thus causing a cascade effect

This, in my opinion, is the most accurate explanation of the movement in the altcoin market. We all know that they are not really related to Bitcoin, but they always follow the direction of the price of Bitcoin.

It's easy to find the logic on why altcoins move according to bitcoin's movement. You can simply look at the dominant rate, and knowing that bitcoin is the most invested asset in crypto, it's the king of crypto, and everyone trusts bitcoin more than altcoins. As we have witnessed during the bull run, altcoins have some decent increase because bitcoin was bullish, people just find an investment alternative as they are confident bitcoin will not dump and altcoins are more profitable to invest in short term.
2448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This sh*t ain't for the faint of heart! 😭 on: June 22, 2021, 11:46:30 PM
Too bad to look at that many holders/investors had already sold their Bitcoin at loss.
We mostly think that it going down straight after breaking the $30k barrier for several months but the good thing is that we are rallying back. I almost hit the sell button if that to continue to dump, honestly.

It is to realize that we need not rush thinking for negative, it was better to keep calm. We don't let our emotion drives us as it leads to sad ends.
2449  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what is point of Tehnical analysis? on: June 22, 2021, 11:19:42 PM
TA works even on a bear market though I agree that the volatility is too much to predict but you still have to try because this is what trading for, we predict the market as much as possible in order for us to know when to buy and sell. If you did not use any TA on your trading, then expect to lose more money. Bear market is inevitable, we should prepare at all time and you can lessen the risk by using TA.
It was advisable to anyone who gets into trading and we certainly can't appreciate that if we never try, this is the truth behind that and many traders tried to ignore TA and ended up losing their funds.
TA can't be perfect due to the volatility of the market but somehow it finds it to be useful in many cases either be in bear season or in Bullrun. Only we need to spend more time to analyze the market and this is a problem for some traders who just have limited time to check on the market.

Basketball: Gilas faces China in tune up for FIBA OQT

What do you think, will the Philippines beat China in this game?

Since this is just a tune-up game, they might not take it seriously, but we will see how the Philippines will play against one of the best teams in the FIBA Asia qualifiers.

2452  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL...until when? on: June 21, 2021, 10:49:59 PM
Those who advocate hodling, when do you cash out?

I mean, dying hodling is not the plan, is it? Eventually, you'd need to enjoy the fruits of your patience, right? When is that, when someone says "hodl"? Is it a savings plan? A retirement fund? What does it mean to hodl?
you can hold until the price really high. people have different thought about hold, but the point is they will save it coin when the price is too low.
simple trading is when you buy at low, and sell at high. bounty, will take in a current price, so they start holding coin until it price hit their what they want. and when the price no move, they will wait until a long long time.
and same situation for holder, the experience one will wait to get big profit.
I can recall my devastating experience last 2017 when the market hits for another Bullrun. I have some altcoins that have XXX value but to know what is in my mind? Just HOLD, HOLD...I was thinking that it rises more in the next few months and I was surprised that it dumps so bad and not coming back again. Did I get some profit? Nothing, it turns out a lesson for me, and that holding could sometimes lead to miss an opportunity.

It is somehow many misunderstood about holding and the always thinking that Holding could help them all the time which is not.
2453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: June 20, 2021, 11:14:37 PM
Many had already given you the tips to succeed but it doesn't mean that you need to acquire them. Because the success will depend on your decision, not us, not these all advice and suggestions you have read, it was just you to decide if you want to succeed or not.

Trading is worth trying, a lot of people have tried but only a few had won the challenge. And I tell you that, don't compromise yourself if you feel doubtful and afraid, honestly, you can't be in trading if you have that kind of feeling.
2454  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reminder for crypto newbies, traders. Be cautious with new exchanges on: June 19, 2021, 11:32:26 PM
snipped~
The bounty that you follow is a bounty that is designed to trap everyone who follows it, in fact apart from having to open an account on the new exchange they created, they also require to make a deposit with a fairly large minimum amount. Those are the traits of an exchange that will fool beginners.
I am also part of a bounty that does the same thing and there are many other bounties.
For now the practice is no longer practiced, new methods have been used, scammers continue to grow.
and last but not least the safest exchanges are popular exchanges like Binance.

I havent encountered that kind of modus yet but it isnt surprising that they do really came up with that idea as long they would able to convinced out people to make out some deposits into a scammy exchange and this is why its really important that you should really be always vigilant and be alert on things around you and dont get easily fooled and just avoid when it seems becomes too shady or a bit suspicious because our own common sense
will able to tell us which one should be avoided and which one should be engaged on.
If they ask to deposit first before we can trade our bounty rewards, that really be suspicious. And you then follow what they said, you are just making yourself a fool. No, no, had to stay away from this kind of exchange.
Ever since, I didn't encounter anything like that, maybe I was lucky that my bounty rewards before weren't listed to scam exchanges. Even we are a newbie, I think we also have common sense and that kind of tactic is very clear as a trap.
2455  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 18, 2021, 02:20:29 PM
I also put my bet on the Philippines to win and cover that high spread. I just want something to enjoy while watching the game and I cannot allow no-bet for this game. lol.

Good luck to the Philippines and to my bet.  Grin

Congrats on the win bro, that's pretty close. It's just in the fourth quarter did the Gilas pulled away from Indonesia, what a thrilling game if you watched it live and made that kind of bet.

I did not bet for them right now as my confidence for Gilas in this tournament is low, I mean they can win against Indonesia but not a blowout win, thanks God I'm wrong hehe.

Next stop would be a rematch against South Korea, I think the odds would be close and if you are a Gilas hater, good time to bet lol.

Thank you, my heart was pumping while I was watching the game, I really thought my bet would not cover because Indonesia was still scoring, but the good thing the 4th quarter big run really help. I already have 2-0 win betting on the Philippines, I'll continue to bet on them as they are in a hot streak now.

Here's my first win.

2456  Other / Archival / Re: Is a demo account necessary for a beginner trader? on: June 18, 2021, 12:43:46 PM
demo account will really usefull for beginer trader,we can test our strategy, mental or trading system. in demo account we make good trade and result but it sometimes it doesnt work at all in real account. mental and psychology will different when we use demo account, but atleast we will find best system that suitable with us.
Though we can go directly to the actual trading, It gonna be more advisable to have a demo account before starting. Not only it gives us an idea of how to make a trade but also it helps us to familiarize ourselves with a certain platform that we are going to use. This a sort of trading preparation and the benefits we've got from using the Demo account will help for better results.
2457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This time when bear market comes on: June 18, 2021, 12:01:54 PM
This time totally different from 2018 situation. Still i am beliving that no bear market comes. so what time will come , i think in another 3 months?

I think we never know...

I can't compare the market status now to the previous years because the situation is totally different. Though the market looks healthy and still high, we can't guarantee that a huge price correction won't come. If ever that bear season will come, I wasn't thinking that it dumps like 2018. And I feel we don't have to worry a lot but to remain calm and positive.
2458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Iran also wants to legalize crypto on: June 18, 2021, 11:30:38 AM
El Salvador's actions have had a big impact on some countries really. And Iran seems to be one of them also. It was actually not very willing about cryptocurrencies. But it looks like the government has changed their mind about cryptos.
It's just getting started.

As soon as most countries have already seen the potential of bitcoin and can be either their legal tender or great asset, almost other countries are going to follow too.

There's just a need for a rich country that will step on the game will have that announcement that will shock the world and most countries on how positive they are towards bitcoin.
We are moving to the next level of adoption and it was expected for many countries to adopt and make it legalize. From El Salvador, Iran, and many would come someday.
But I would like to hear the announcement coming from Big countries about legalization as they are more influential than those 3rd world countries. If they are going to finally legalize crypto, the more it encourages others to follow.
2459  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 18, 2021, 10:10:02 AM
There's no way I will bet on that, I'd rather watch a game that I think will result in a close game and I like when the Philippines is the underdog as that would mean better odds for them. If you'll bet on the Philipines where without a handicap, you'll only win 1% of your bet, it's not wise IMO.

What if the odds for handicap -22.5 is decent? Indonesia is a trash team against the Philippines, no offense.

For the record, at any basketball competition, the average lead score of the Philippines against Indonesia is almost 30 points. That's the reason why the handicap for PH is 22.5.

About the 1% of the bet, I doubt someone will place a bet for 1.0-1.3 for the PH.

I also put my bet on the Philippines to win and cover that high spread. I just want something to enjoy while watching the game and I cannot allow no-bet for this game. lol.

Good luck to the Philippines and to my bet.  Grin
2460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does implementing a tax on a gambling platform really help a country? on: June 18, 2021, 09:33:39 AM
Any tax that the government will receive is considered as income, hence it will help in the financial aspect.

However, a country cannot just accept gambling operators and give them license without proper control, they should also look at the effect of the people within a country if overall it will not give a positive effect like it will increase the gambling addiction or the crime due to gambling, then there's no reason to be more aggressive in issuing a license, everything should be foreseen so risk could be managed.

The Philippines have POGO, these are gambling operators that are foreigners and cater only foreigners, so this way it will not make people addicted but the people will benefit from taxes through the government.
