Since prices are down, I am going to spend some money for shopping. Not a lot, just what I can spend.
Now the question is, should I buy BTC (currently I don't have any BTC) or should I do DCA for ETH, SOL or DOT?
Now the reason I am asking this question is I have some of ETH, SOL and DOT, and I still consider that my ETH and DOT average prices are little bit higher, so DCAing would be nice option. But then, given that the I am little concerned what might happen to SOL and DOT in this phase of the market. Anyway, thanks.
Since you are skeptical with those other coins, then focus on buying bitcoin through DCA. That way, you will always have a good amount of bitcoin in your portfolio because you never miss the chance to buy at every price drop. And with those altcoins you wish to invest like SOL and DOT, DYOR first before you decide to invest. I won't suggest to buy them or not, trust your own analysis so you won't regret in the end. |

I think that was a brave way to invest your money in this type of project during the dump I don't usually buy some altcoins that doesn't have that good project I usually buy alt coins that is good since even if there is a dump there is no way that it wouldn't recover as their project is a good one not like the one that was shilled all over the internet just to pump and after a dump it usually don't go back to its original price or trend.
Every time we invest and take the risk, i think that's one way of showing how brave we are. But no matter how brave we become, if we had invested in the wrong projects, everything will certainly end up in a mess. So as much as possible, never fall for easy investments as they won't be good for long term. I know most of us here already knew what happened to $LUNA but for the sake of beginners, I want to reiterate and give a warning about investing and going all in on this market.

You are not alone there. A lot have come to believe that bitcoin will surely hit its new ATH at $100k but it ended with a bear price. The reason why i never sell most of my coins when bitcoin hit its first ATH because i firmly believe that bitcoin will certainly end up with a new ATH before the year ends. However, not selling those times does not mean i'm losing either, but those who bought bitcoin when the price at its peak price and resort into panic selling afterwards, those were definitely end up in a huge loss. |

El Salvador is not a developed country since then. So even if they start to use bitcoin as a legal tender, i don't expect much from this country but just a little improvement that they can get from the profits they will gain from bitcoin in the next possible years. But honestly, i don't see El Salvador to be the richest country 8 years from now, its still quite impossible to believe. There's a big chance that the Celtics and Warriors will match-up for the Finals. However, I would like to see some new faces and I mean Mavericks vs Celtics. Well, that would happen if Mavericks will bounce back after a very disappointing game 1 loss. Everyone is on the Warriors in game 2, even myself felt that Warriors would easily beat the Mavericks in game 2, but my mind says that what if it's another trap, so I'll probably go with you mate, no looking back now. That's the spirit!  Although I am betting against it. Warriors -6.5. But I am intrigued by how the Mavericks will be adjusting to this game. They don't need to go back to their homecourt to show it. Do it as fast as possible and shock the Warriors with how flexible they can be and their bench. Expecting a close game in the first half but we know how magical the Warriors can be in the 2nd half. Splash brothers are still not showing their true performance yet. That's the thing, shock the Warriors, well, if they can do that, they will be the first team to beat the Warriors on their home court in the playoffs. So they steal one game so now they have a homecourt advantage. Possible that they can get a 3-1 lead if the Heat can't adjust on the next game. Butler has been criticized even by the Miami Heat fans, so I expect him to bounce back in game 3. That was a big lead, in fact, Heat has not won a single quarter, they were only able to tie the 4th quarter which was their best quarter. Butler still had a good shooting night though, he scored 29 points but his teammates were not able to contribute well unlike the Celtics where 3 players have 20+ points. But I guess everyone expects Jimmy to have like 40 game performance again which is not going to happen because Marcus Smart is going to make his life miserable inside the court. Herro was a disappointed from the outside, Oladipo as well who I thought could have a breakout game. While Bam can't assert his dominance in the center again. Williams is playing physical and it seems he can't make a decent position to get a offensive rebound. Smart is really a big help for the team, remember in the series against Bucks, he was also very aggressive and you can tell that he is working hard for his team. Putting literally all your money into Bitcoin is not a good idea, not in a sense that you should buy some alts, but in a sense that you should have other investments and free cash. Rule #1 is to never invest what you can't afford to lose, and no one can afford to lose all their money.
And as for alts, no one should be touching them, newbie or not. Fundamentally they have no value.
Bitcoin, no matter how profitable it is, will not always be a safe haven and won't always guarantee profits all the time. So putting all your money in a single investment like bitcoin, brings a lot of risk and that one could lose everything. The reason why you should learn to diversify your investments, not only in crypto but also in stocks, bonds or in real assets. However, i don't mean to discourage newbies from investing in bitcoin, but only invest on the amount you can afford to lose. |
