Di na ako naniniwala as Lakers,hahaha..

We have another interesting game for today but unfortunately, odds are not yet released by my favorite online bookies.

Kings vs Bolts, the Bolts are hot, can they sustain their little winning streak?

Let's find out this evening.

Odds are out already on stake.com.

The first game is TNT vs Phoenix, my bet goes to TNT as I think they'll bounce back from their previous loss.
The 2nd game is really interesting, Ginebra is 1.96, so I guess that's a great odds or maybe consider it as a gift since Ginebra is really a great team.

2464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: GGG vs Murata - Reschedule on: February 12, 2022, 01:35:00 PM

As time progress and these delays would really be utilize on which they could really have that ample time for them to make out preparations and they wouldnt really let these times comes to waste

when it comes to experience just like on what others been pointing out then there's no doubt that GGG is on the edge but he shouldnt really be that confident because anytime the table could turn
upside down.

If he won then he might have some trilogy with Canelo but of course if he would able to make out some interest but i do have feels that he would really be nearly retiring.

They can use the time delay to worthwhile preparation activities like training and formulating their ring strategy. As we have seen in previous boxing fights last year, there were so many upsets. So if this will be another upset, then, I won't be surprised. GGG is the favorite but we can't take for granted Murata's skills. Even if Murata is in his home court, I have high regards with Japanese people because they are honest people. So not worried about the fairness of this fight.

I disagree though, fighters trains like 8 weeks before the actual fight so that they won't get overtrain. So if he continues to train despite the delay GGG with experience some burn-out. So I think they are taking it slow right now. Maybe just light trainings and a few runs here and there. Of course, never underestimate a boxer who has the home court advantage and GGG fully knows that as he started just fighting in his home town for many years because he is comfortable.

GGG never underestimates his opponents but it's us fans who think it will be easier for GGG to beat Murata because he is not a world-class fighter. I think the fight will be more exciting if both would really train hard, and I'm pretty sure that the least we can expect in this fight is to see a KO.

GGG has not been defeated brutally by any fighter, in fact his first loss was only against Canelo Alvarez in a controversial fight.
2465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 12, 2022, 12:43:08 PM
James Harden still hasn't started to play at 76ers. They played a home game against Thunder last night and won. There is some kind of feeling in me that Harden will be more successful there. I mean the team will perform better compared to Harden's time at Nets. I'm still hoping Harden to win at least one title. He has had a great career in terms of individual statistics so far. But he has won zero title unfortunately. We will see if he will make it at 76ers.
That's nice, at least you think positive, actually, James Harden is a good player, he is a real MVP because his first season with the Nets was good if he was not injured. I guess this move is great for the Nets and the Sixers, Harden will be more effective in a team that does not have a lot of superstar.
2466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 12, 2022, 12:24:24 PM
My bet barely made it Cavs at -6.5 against the Pacers. I think the Pacers is still in disarray right now but they made it close to the Cavs and I almost lost my bet, but the Cavs won by 7 points.
That's a sweet victory when you experience all the thrill in the game, you only need 1 point +6 to win your bet, congratulations mate, you'll not gonna have that kind of experience everyday.

Anyone who bet on the Bulls? I don't know what's the opening line for them against the Timberwolves but it seems that they are pulling away at the end of the 3rd quarter.
I guess Bulls is only -1 IIRC. They also won, and they won by double digit. Did you also put a bet on that game?
2467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am doomed on trading on: February 11, 2022, 09:42:05 PM
I can understand your feeling. I will not criticize as other members have done. First please provide details correctly which coin you have bought and now how many $ have remained in your account. If the coin has the potential to increase we will suggest you hold if it is not so good and you have no any other source of income then you must withdraw that money and avoid trading with that money.
Find a good job.
Work in bounties, join big airdrops(These will not give you stable income but they will be little helpful for you.)
Doesnt really need to be that in detail because you could already picture out on how it would really be looks like or in say with general on which people would tend out to quit when they do experience unfortunate events
which it isnt surprising.

We do quit when we are really experiencing those problems without even thinking that we should really study and learn from those mistakes. You do make out easy conclusions behind.
Lets really realize that this market isnt something simple that you could deal with.
Quitting is not really the best solution though, but if you think you have made frequent losses in trading, then its better to quit and accept the fact that trading will not suit you. But for OP, i understand the feeling that you are already obsessed to make profits but trading won't help you and give you profits instantly. Trading demands hardwork, knowledge and skills so you will be good in it, and it will take time before you can attain that. I suggest to look for a good job that will give you a stable source of income. The future of your child is at stake so you should do more good in decision making.
2468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is A Better Option Than Fiat Money? on: February 11, 2022, 09:08:42 PM
Bitcoin can enable that as it is a truly international currency living on a decentralized network of miners. This is the reason its better than fiat money and a lot of smart people have bet their money and reputation on it. It is better than fiat but far from being a perfect replacement for it.

You concluded it very well that we need fiat for our daily living despite all odds. We must not excited about bitcoin since its not a fundamental technology and not very much are aware of it worldwide. Above all behavior of government towards bitcoin is very strict as they are in no mood of accepting it, something understandable from governments point of view.
Yes, bitcoin could be a better option than fiat but what else can we do if its not also accepted as a legal currency? The government will always stick with fiat and no matter how high the inflation that fiat brings, the government won't settle from a decentralized currency knowing they have less control over it. However, wise investors see the advantage of bitcoin but it will always remain an asset or an investment unless the government decides to accept bitcoin even as an option to fiat, not literally replacing fiat because that will never happen.
2469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be a wise investor on: February 11, 2022, 08:12:54 PM
Be smart and always take advantage of any project that brings you profit, do not stare at your wallet and say "I'm going to be rich in 3 years later," this is a 1 percent out of 100 percent chance that it will ever happen, remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is, and remember, being rich isn't the most important part of our lives but living is.

Those who want to get rich quick get out of the market very quickly without any achievement. Investing in a project and holding it for three years is definitely risky if you can't do proper research. On the other hand, if you can invest in a promising project then there is definitely a chance to get rich. If you compare the current market with the last three years, you will get an idea of how much opportunity there was to gain during this time. So in many cases the long hold turns out to be the right decision.
Making consistent profits in crypto is what will make us rich in the long run. But it won't happen with just a blink of an eye. You should put more hard work in it and a little bit of luck, and of course investing in the top projects in the market that are always giving high returns will make us possibly rich. So i have here the top 10 cryptos that will make you rich in 2022, just take time to read it.w.analyticsinsight.net/top-10-cryptocurrencies-that-will-make-you-rich-in-2022/
2470  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Diversifying Your Portfolio in Crypto on: February 11, 2022, 07:31:13 PM
although altcoins follow the movement of bitcoin, they have a different percentage increase in movement, and usually the increase in altcoins is higher than bitcoin. For diversification, I think choosing bitcoin and some of the top altcoins will make our funds more secure and we will get a bigger profit as a result of the increase in altcoins. for me bnb and eth remain my favorite must-have altcoins
Since bitcoin always dominates the crypto market, bitcoin will always be my top investment with its highest allocation. And investing into leading altcoins like ethereum, BNB, and SOL will be good alternatives to diversify my portfolio. However, you can have your own choice of coins which you think will become profitable in the future. Others are taking risk investing in meme coins, but they are only good once there is hype and investing in memes will only be profitable for short term, but if you aim for huge profits, look for the most established coins in the market as they always recover every time there is dips.
2471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 11, 2022, 02:14:27 PM
I mean, Casimero still have those speed and strength needed to take down Butler but Casimero's enemy is himself now. Aside from that, IMO Casimero needs a bariatricians or nutritionist to watch him while his training for the fight.

The strength maybe but the speed? I think he is not fast enough, he could not even catch Rigo.  Smiley

I see Casimero successful because of his great timing in the ring, if he maintains his coolness and worth smarter, then for sure he will win the fight, and who knows he can score a knockout that would make people be interested more in him again.

And why would Casimero chase Rigo for his running antics? Lol.
Rigo was surely fast enough but only to outrun Casimero and that's the only thing he can boast because he can't keep up with Casimero if they were to fight very closely, toe-to-toe. He's too obvious that he only wants the money and not to entertain people especially his fans. From that day forth, Rigo was lost his fans from his shameful behaviour.

Casimero just wants to entertain the fans, and that is by beating Rigo convincingly, but it was a disappointment, even he was also disappointed by his performance because he could not initiate his game plan effectively. He also has some good counter but Rigo was playing smart, he was faster and don't like to risk himself trying to go toe to toe.

I agree with that, before the Rigo fight, his fights ended in KO and he is really making his name that's why he was challenging Donaire and Inoue for a unification fight, it's just that he had a bad fight with Rigo and now, in his title defense, he missed the weigh-in and the fight was postponed, if he wins this fight, then for sure people will be talking about him again.
2472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 11, 2022, 01:54:24 PM
Looks like their coaching staff cannot handle well the pressure and also doesn't know how to handle or pick which player is good in certain situation that's why they end up like this, this is why many conclude that they don't need to trade any of their players since they are already having a good piece. The one they need is new coaching staff so that they can facilitate well their line up and work their chemistry together.
It's very common that the coach will be blamed, and I would not be surprised if one day I will read in the headline that the coach of the Lakers got fired. For sure, Frank Vogel also know that with the performance of his team, the management could make a decision to let him go and let other coaches handle the struggling Lakers.

I bet on TNT and I'm not gonna add my bet on live betting although the odds are better, I'll call it a night whatever the outcome is, but I'm hoping that TNT will have a rally in the 2nd half and will try to make the score close.
Best of luck bro, looks like Magnolia is keeping their lead, there's still plenty of time but Magnolia is still in a double-digit lead. But anyway, good luck and I hope you'll win your bet, I'm just watching the game trying to enjoy the night with beers on my side.
2474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BREAKING! ETH 2.0 is no more!!! on: February 11, 2022, 09:06:34 AM
I think this is bad news, because ethereum 2.0 promised to immediately fix the transaction gas, we canceled it, and for future updates there is no more ethereum 2.0 or hope for ethereum gas to return to normal. maybe some of us really have to change the network to BNB or SOL.
There will be no longer ethereum 2.0 as it will be rebrand into "Consensus Layer." And if you go deeper with the news, you will see that there are more good features this rebranding offers. Hopefully, Vitalik's team will be responsible to address the main problem as sooner the better so that ethereum gas fees will not be considered for rich users only but definitely for all. Maybe we could just trust the developers team and wait for a positive result.
2475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Giving Bitcoin to Employees on: February 11, 2022, 08:48:25 AM
I don't think you should make it mandatory for them to accept payment in bitcoin you should make it optional for them, any of them that want bitcoin as there payment method then you can use bitcoin to pay them and it any of them want fiat then just continue paying them with fiat currency.
If you are paying any of your staffs with bitcoin then you should enlighten them about basics of bitcoin and you should also teach them about wallet security because that's very important thing I believe they should know to avoid them ending up losing their bitcoin to scammers or lost of private.
The employees may see this as a very high risk and could mean new challenge for them. If you are planning to give them as their monthly wages, then you should be responsible in explaining to them the pros and cons of having crypto, before they start deciding to convert it into fiat because that's more safe to use. You may explain to them these important factors:

*How cryptocurrency works in global payroll
*The current regulatory landscape on cryptocurrencies
*Problems that global payroll needs to solve before the bitcoin wallet can replace the bank account
*How Deel is integrating crypto into payment systems

2476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia and central Bank agreed to legalize cryptocurrency as a form of currency on: February 10, 2022, 09:58:29 PM
The condition of the Russian state and the issue of legalizing Bitcoin in trade until the new rules have reached the national news of my country.  However, this is good news that should be cheered up by the market because it is hoped that it will resolve the doubts of the Russian public who owns a proportion of the portfolio in crypto.  Unlike China, its ally, which strictly prohibits Bitcoin only for the benefit of its country's regulators.
It is because people are seeing Russia and China as of the same ideology and they think that if China will see the development of crypto in Russia and they will not see any harm to the state then China will also resume the crypto trading, its mining and its other usage. Because of the China ban many people in china are unhappy and many lost their earnings, now after this news people from China are expecting the same from their country too.
Not just for China alone but for all countries who have been eyeing bitcoin since El Salvador adopted it as a legal tender. The plan to legalize crypto is supported by the Central bank of Russia so they are now lifting the ban on crypto mining and trading. Russia was more encouraged too because they have seen India on legalizing the tax for digital assets, and from here, we can expect for a wider adoption for crypto in the next couple of months.
2477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get more women to be involved in Crypto on: February 10, 2022, 09:36:29 PM
~
It's all about being into techies and stuffs. Most women I had talked with about technologies just don't seem to be interested at all. It's not all about that money, risks, and investment stuffs.
Maybe there are a lot of women in crypto, and they are just not too "talkative" about them being involved in crypto unlike us dudes.
Maybe because crypto demands a higher risk and women are more into playing safe and are afraid to venture into high risk investments. But if they can be educated about having crypto and the advantages on it towards fiat, i guess that's the time they will get interested in it. I also think women are more dependent on their partners so they usually never mind engaging into crypto as that would mean bigger losses once not properly managed.
2478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A few key points distinguishing traders from gamblers on: February 10, 2022, 09:19:42 PM
~snipe~
The photo you've got displayed there is quite small and really stressful trying to stretch the length of my eye sight. Though, there exists a distinct difference between traders and gamblers. Even at that, we can't ignore the fact that, some traders actually gamble on trades rather than doing the actual analysis to arrive at some logical conclusion that could necessitate you taking a buy or a sell on a trade. Besides,  what can we say about spot trading,,, doesn't it employ the gambling concept  about it?

Gambling is pure luck as it could always take any side but trading, tarting have got pointers that gives you an insight on what direction the market is going to turn. You just have  to do your analysis diligently.
For some newbies, trading makes it too hard for them so their trading style falls more like gambling. And its not surprising because they often lack the experiences that a good trader must have. But as newbies keep experiencing and learned from them, and with due diligence on gaining knowledge and creating good market analysis, they will be good traders in the end. However, gambling do not need market analysis and special strategies, so the chances for losing is still high compared to trading.
2479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Overthink Potential of Bitcoin on: February 10, 2022, 09:08:38 PM
Government had played soft with bitcoin for a long time and the news this morning that the US government hold $3.6 billiion is just damn to bullish on the long term. Bitcoin is more of an SOV, very few use cases but a guaranteed digital asset with low risk as long as you hold. Bitcoin is no more a discovery, it more than an invention and adoption cant be controlled anymore.

Another thing is that we do not know which governments and which big players/whales are holding bitcoin secretly. I am sure the governments are also accumulating bitcoin but due to some unforeseen pressure, they hesitate to tell this openly. Also, i think that most people underestimate the potential of bitcoin and they don't anticipate high bitcoin price increase in the near future.
Most of the people do not trust an investment or a currency if its not totally backed by the government, and this is the case for bitcoin. But for smart people who always aim for financial freedom which is very impossible to achieve from fiat, then bitcoin will be the perfect choice. However, bitcoin does not guarantee profit taking all the time, as its very volatile and its price is easily affected by the market trends and sentiments. But if you compare fiat from bitcoin, bitcoin creates more opportunities to earn and gain financial security.
2480  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Inflation is a big problem for a country? on: February 09, 2022, 10:00:53 PM
Is it impossible to stop inflation in fiat currency or govt don't want to take any action it stop it?

Governments make money from inflation. Inflation is good for governments.
They print money, use it, and only then (after their spending) inflation occurs. So we lose money after the government spend it.

It is somehow a different form of tax.

Quote
Do you think people can do anything to stop inflation in their economy or its inevitable?

It can do, but it is not popular.

Government like to raise salaries, spend money to make economy grow.

When government build roads, hospitals, etc jobs are generated, many people make money, etc, and inflation helps gonverment make these things happen.

Individuals can protect themselves buying gold, bitcoin, stocks..
With the rising inflation that most of the countries are experiencing today, i see the chance to control this is very slim. And unfortunately, this will make the poor people become poorer seeing the prices continue to surge particularly for basic goods which means their money will be less valuable so it will reduce too the value of a currency's purchasing power. So making investments this time more particularly like bitcoin will protect us from inflation. Although this may not be the best option but it can be a great help not to put ourselves suffering from the peak of poverty.
