Check out Myriadcoin.

Actual innovation for actual progress.

Multi-PoW is a reality and has awesome implications. I can spell them out here if you want.

I'll check it out, thanks.

just saw Transendence and it was boring, no climax whatsoever

After watching Jack Sparrow in Pirates, I got curious and watched a few other films of Johnny Depp. I have since learnt to avoid any of his films other than Pirates. Tongue

I think there was something like this - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=575453.0

I'm glad there are people that think the same; I'm sure there are plenty but they just haven't shouted yet. Maybe the only way to make this right would to NOT MINE these coins. BoyCoin? GirlCoin? I'm pulling my hair now!

Modi will most likely be the next India PM

Then that will be bad news for the US. He has been denied visa to the US, at the request of some of the Democrat Party senators such as Keith Ellison.

A few days ago Modi appeared on 'Aap Ki Adalat' with Rajat Sharma.
This question was raised, about USA denying visa to Modi. He mocked it by saying "We'll make India a better place than USA and people from USA will have to stand in queue to apply for an Indian visa" Cheesy

I make an oath to release another clone coin, hope you break yours to mine it  Grin

It will be my attempt to support BTC and the future of crypto as a decentralized currency, my aim is to bring new users to the community as a whole.

Now can you tell me why I would want to use the newest innovation and not go with a proven product that stands the test of time?

If yours is a clone coin, why should I mine it, and not BTC? Only about half of BTC have been mined. So it is open to anyone in the name of 'community as a whole'. Just because some people are late does not mean it is not open to everyone.

Sehwag again flop, really sad to see him struggling.
Hmm The time passes by..! I'm still hopeful that he'll play good in upcoming matches ..! but meanwhile Maxwell is on Fire..! !!

Too bad I couldn't watch any of the Punjab matches. Would have been quite nice to watch Maxwell and Miller play!

So what coins are you mining today?

Litecoin, DarkCoin, ByteCoin
2490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I Take An Oath on: April 21, 2014, 04:40:34 AM
I take an oath to NOT mine any new clone-crap-altcoin which offers nothing new to cryptocoin community other than a new logo and name.

I am not against new coins that have improved features, new algorithms or innovative concepts. I just don't like seeing clone-coins meant for pumping-and-dumping all the way. They don't serve any purpose other than wasting resources and make the dev rich.

I was until now attracted to instamining and dumping crap coins in order to get few BTC in exchange, but I see this going down to the dogs. 2-3 crap coins every week will lead us where?

So here I am, taking an oath not to mine even a single crapcoin from now on. If there's a new coin, it has to convince me what new innovative feature it has in order for me to mine it. PERIOD.

And I appeal all miners to do the same, otherwise this madness won't stop and will clog our crypto community and market.
2491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What altcoins will survive the next 12 months? on: April 21, 2014, 04:27:58 AM
How can I select more than one coins in the poll? I believe many coins on the list will survive, but I can vote for only one?

I don't have a problem with coins that are announced early to give everyone fair chance of mining. The people who jump afterwards are going to face high difficulty, sure.

But in few cases the devs seem to make an effort to keep the early rewards; for example keep very high rewards for initial blocks and announcing the coin very late so that very few people notice the coin and when most people jump, the initial high-reward blocks are all mined already.

Here's mine:

2495  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I the only one who does this? on: April 18, 2014, 02:32:41 PM
It works for everyone with their wallet address.

Until you clear your browser cache... :-)

That's right. If you use a crap cleaner (like CCleaner I am using), you'll lose all cached browser data every few days.
2496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What three altcoins do you have the majority of your money in? on: April 18, 2014, 02:30:19 PM
Many people posting here mention BTC. If it isn't clear already, the intent of the thread is to know your ALTCOIN investments. BTC is implied without mention.

Sehwag future now depends on this IPL, if he will not do good in this IPL then it will be end of Sehwag career.

Is he even part of the IPL this time? As far as I know, DD didn't sign him up this time (he didn't play yesterday, right?). Correct me if I am wrong.

Punjab bought him this time, Delhi was not interested anymore with him. BTW Punjab crushed the CSK by chasing big score of 206.

Nice to know Sehwag is still around. Would love to see him bat. I'm also curious to see how newcomers play this time. IPL is generally a proving field for newcomers and get their places secured in Indian team.

Why would you even want to mine such come-fast-go-faster coin? Better invest your mining power in some coin that has some future.

Your input was greatly required, thank you for sharing your wisdom with us.

Then would you please throw some light on your plans to keep the coin alive, my lord?
