Liverpool have not very happy statistics in the games against Atlético Madrid. In the last 5 matches they won only once. And they never won in Madrid. However, now Liverpool is showing a good game. There will be an equal game, there will be a draw. But I tend to win Liverpool.
In this season things are completely different because Liverpool is going with full force, and they already won their both matches very good even Atletico Madrid is going with home advantage, but they are not good as Liverpool they were held by Porto at home and won against AC Milan in away game.
Liverpool won their both matches and done some very extraordinary performance, hopefully they will carry on this performance and won against Atletico Madrid. Some other exciting games like Ajax vs Dortmund it's also going to be very excited as both teams are level in quality, but Dortmund is much better, I am feeling they can win this game.
Don't underestimate Atletico Madrid. This is a very strong team and they have a very strong coach who studies the opponents well and the team follows his instructions accurately, so Liverpool will face a rather difficult match and they need to do more to win than in previous matches.

This match will be one of the best matches of the week. The attacking-minded Liverpool vs the great wall of Spain I'd say Atletico Madrid. Diego Simeone has long been known for being one of the coaches who are very structured on defense and have lethal counter-attacking potential. Liverpool is in great form and Atletico is currently 2nd in their league and has only conceded 6 goals. Liverpool has won both their CL matches and I guess this will be a high voltage 50-50 match and there is no room for error. Any team that makes the slightest of errors, will have a hard time.

The position of the standings for the next week will still be in the hands of Chelsea because the opponent they face is Brentford, Chelsea may be able to win very easily against Brentford and I dare predict Chelsea can score more than 3 goals in this match, maybe there are several players important players who defend their respective countries at this time but Chelsea's chances are big enough to win the match against Brentford.
I think Brentford are not an easy target to get away a win easily. They gave a really hard time when Liverpool faced them who had a good attack with all the players and team. Brentford have a good attacking strategy and unit in place and also their defence are doing are doing a spectacular job as well. I think it would not be that easy for Chelsea on the matchday but let's see. Chelsea would be favourites to win the match and I will give you that but I am sure Brentford will also not give the points that easily.

I think that Chelsea has the most squad depth of all the teams in the league. So even if they have some players on international duty or they wanna rest some players, they can do that. Brentford has really surprised this season and they have been playing very well so far and are currently 7th in the league. Even though I think that Chelsea will be able to win it, but I don't think that it will be an easy one. I think that they might win with a margin of 2-1.

Juventus still defeated Torino away without Dybala and Morata. But Dybala might play in the match against Roma. And it would be for the benefit of Juventus for sure. Because they don't have a natural centre-forward in the absence of both of these players. Dybala is actually a second striker but he can still contribute to the team a lot and have a role in a probable victory.
This Derby is going to be very exciting as we all know about Mourinho he is not easy person even playing away from home but against a tough opponent he will do his all homework and try to have his point because right now he needed these points for better ending of this season as Roma Coach. Juventus beat Torino without Dybala but mate Torino and Roma two completely different teams and for this match Dybala is not available as he is still in injury list and need some more time for recovery. But I am still going with Juventus because their form is good after few wins in last matches.

I agree with you that Torino and Roma are different teams by a big margin. It will be unfortunate for Juventus if they still can't have Dybala in their attack. Chiesa alone can only do much. Yes, they have won the last 3 matches without Dybala and Morata but winning against Roma without Dybala would be a tough challenge in my opinion. And I just hope that Mourinho doesn't play park the bus, that tactics bore the hell out of me. I'm hoping for an exciting attacking match.

Gamblers like me though could take advantage of this. There's always a chance for teams like Hawks, Suns or even Bulls to win the game so if you are a kind of an underdog type of a gambler who can take the risk then this type of bets will be interesting for you.
Mavericks and Nuggets are also teams that we should look at, they may have stick with their main players but their chemistry will be a lot better now which could be a winning piece of their puzzle with why they can't be in the Finals.
I saw one play this preseason when Luka made a pass to Porzingis during a transition play, and it will be scary if they are in good terms now. That's something to look at when the regular season starts.

Yes, that is very true. If you know the depth of the game and know the teams very well, betting on these underrated teams is a good choice as some people tend to opt for the teams like Lakers who get the most spotlight in order to go for a safe bet. So betting on teams like these could be a good option because though they don't get the spotlight much, they are actually very capable teams.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 09, 2021, 05:21:32 PM
I see more people favor Bayern than Leverkusen. it's not a problem because Bayern is currently appearing very strong at the start of the league season. but Leverkusen can use the last game as motivation to get full points.
I will bet for Leverkusen or will draw. The game is sure to be an interesting one and perhaps the most attention-grabbing for the week ahead. I'm sure there will be a lot of bets on this match. statistically, I'm sure Bayern will get a bigger percentage. but Leverkusen can surprise you.
Bayern lost 1 match and the opponent in that match is Frankfurt. Leverkusen and Bayern have 16 points and Leverkusen are stronger than Frankfurt. If Frankfurt can beat Bayern, Leverkusen can.

The international matches will make many players of Bayern tired and Leverkusen can take advantage of it in this clash. In big matches, Bayern have more star players to decide results but Leverkusen can surprise us.

Bundesliga looks less dominated by Bayern in this season and one of surprise is the return of Wolfsburg in top clubs.

Well, I gonna say that Bayern's loss against Frankfurt was kind of unfortunate. Yes, Bayern played their best squad and had 73% possession but sometimes things just don't seem to work and that's what happened with Bayern. You cannot surely say that Leverkusen will beat Bayern only because they are better than Frankfurt. Lewandowski and Muller any day on the good form will tear apart their opponents into pieces. I'm not saying that Leverkusen can't win, but Bayern has a better chance to win than them. All in all, I think we are up for an exciting match.

^ I agree with you. Raducanu is still very young and inexperienced and we shouldn't overwhelm with all the high expectations from her. She got the wild card entry that's good, but she should be given the space on her own, the media has to play an important role over here. Also, she got a new experienced coach and I hope she will achieve more with this new coach. She has just won the US Open and if nurtured correctly, she has a very bright future up ahead.
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 09, 2021, 04:59:09 PM
I'm not counting the 76ers now, they seem weak in the playoffs and they are still not trading Ben Simmons, it could create a problem for the team.
Instead, I like to see the Hawks improve as they beat the 76ers and I'm pretty sure they learn a lot in the experience of that playoff.

Heat should improve this season but just like any other team, health is always very important.
Hawks is still underrated even if they fought in Eastern Conference Finals. Just like how Bucks is underrated even if they are the champions.
This is why we don't see both teams being hyped anywhere. Not in Twitter, or any social media applications. Even with sports analysts you won't hear their team names being mentioned or even the players.
All eyes are on Lakers and Nets and teams like Suns, Hawks, Clippers, and Bucks will just need to prove themselves with their performance.

That's true, teams like Lakers or the Nets get all the attention, whether they do good or bad. Lakers also do deserve the attention as they are a stacked team with lots of start players, But I think the sixers should solve the Ben Simmons problem as soon as possible because if this keeps going on, both the team and the players will be affected very badly and I hope that Simmons gets traded fast. And about these underrated teams, I don't know if anything can be done about it. Unless they sign some huge names, they will stay underrated. Maybe another thing that could be done is through PR and promoting themselves more on the social media platforms.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 08, 2021, 04:02:56 PM
This time, there is a speculation about a manager transfer for a Premier League team. Newcastle manager Steve Bruce expects to be sent away at the end of the season in the worst case. Because he says that Newcastle will sign Frank Lampard or Steven Gerrard for their manager position. It would be really great to see one of these legends at this team. I have a bigger sympathy for Gerrard so I hope that they can sign him.
I wonder if the recent events around Newcastle will stir up the transfer market? If they decide to seriously strengthen the team, then such an appearance of a new player in an already established market can lead to both an explosive growth of players' salaries and their value. In principle, for players whose income has suffered due to the pandemic, this will be a good option, but for clubs that are teetering on the brink of profitability, this will be ruinous.

Well, maybe they are looking at the future, and now that Newcastle has got a new investor whose worth is about 320 billion US dollars and for sure we know that they will buy some of the best players in the world within the next 2 or 3 seasons, they will need a better manager who can work with high ranking players. Lampard would be my personal favorite in this one. Just look at what he made Chelsea. He changed the whole squad and they are not a whole new team compared to what they were 3 or 4 seasons before.

Recently, Lille and Monaco finally have started climbing the positions in the standings one by one. They both have a 3-win streak now. Lille are the last champions and Monaco ended as the 3rd. It wouldn't be nice to see these teams struggling a lot this season. I hope that they can maintain their form and continue to get better. I would like to see them increasing the competition level even more.

So far after 9 match-days, Monaco and Lille are in 6th and 8th position in the league respectively. You know, Last season Lille won the league with only 1 point difference from PSG who were in second place.  Even they were very good in the defense only conceded 23 goals in the whole season "in the league on in 38 matches".  But this season's defense has been a problem for them, they have already considered 14 goals in the said 9 matches played. Monaco is playing quite average in my eyes. Hope they can sort out their problems and give a fight to PSG for the title again.

Quote
Messi managed to deliver a pretty good performance during the PSG vs Man City match on the second matchday of the Champions League group A phase, the 1 goal scored by messi is certainly his first goal in the champions league with PSG this season, I think now messi is starting to understand the style of play PSG and he began to adapt to other PSG players and of course it will make PSG front line more solid and sharp later.
Cheesy Haven't you noticed what happens in the upfront during psg games? that neymar doesn't play along with mbappe?
Paul scholes made references to this from one of his interview, he said PSG won't get better with Messi,it will only get worse.
Messi and neymar have been team mates for a while before he was sold out to the french club and since they have played under one coach, team, game plan its obvious they play the psg forward together and mbappe struggles with passes from elsewhere.
I still stand with what the England former striker said because much work is done on the right flank by Leo and neymar helps out in the strike on a 4-3-3 formation but sometimes, gameplay could be switched to the left wing to reduce pressure; the forward needs to coordinate to achieve these.
There is no coordination!
football is a team game but in PSG,the forwards play individually, how would they win? All wrong!
Mane, Femino and Salah have done this for some years and no problems. Those three players can blend only if the coach really want them to. Neymar and Messi played well in Barcelona, and also Neymar and Mbape has been playing well for PSG. So, I see no oďd here. What the coach really need to do is to define their roles and allow the game to begin. Neymar 11, Get a striker,  Mbape 7 Messi.
Alternatively, allow Mbappe to go where his mind is and get a young striker.

Messi, Neymar, Mbappe trio haven't figured out their chemistry so fat. But I think a change of formation could work for them. Maybe play Neymar on the left, Di Maria on the right and play Mbappe as a striker, and play Messi behind Mbappe as false 9. In that way, Messi and Neymar can also duo up to create more chances for them in the attacking third. And we all know how good Messi is like a false 9 and he is really good in playmaking. I could be wrong but maybe this is a change that Pochettino can try.

I wonder how France will play Belgium tonight? Statistically Belgium have only lost to the undefeated Italians... The French, on the other hand, have drawn a lot... I like Belgium's game better, I think they deserve to win!
However, if you look at the statistics of personal meetings between these teams, Belgium has not beaten France in serious competitions like world  or european cup... And won only in friendlies or qualifiers...
Actually, Belgium defeated France in a serious competition like the World Cup one time before... It was in 1981.  Tongue
Joking aside, Belgium are the better side now as far as I see. France have been struggling a lot when it comes to getting comfortable wins against their weaker opponents. Belgium are a very hard and competitive opponent for them. And Belgium are very good at attacking and scoring now. Lukaku is just a beast in terms of everything.  Cheesy  Even though it is going to be a competitive one, I expect Belgium to advance.

This is gonna be a very exciting match for the football fans out there. This match between the two football giants will attract a lot of attention. Belgium is a team full of stacked players like KDB, Hazard, Lukaku, or Courtois. On the other hand, France also has very good scoring options like Mbappe, Giroud, or Benzema,

If I'm not wrong Benz is back in the team, right?

I'm opting for Belgium in this one. Lukaku and Hazard with KDB in the midfield are very dangerous for any opponent any day.

That is the thing what i dont like about a women tennis is that the best players keep changing every month.Only Barty is holding currently the first place, but in matter of tournaments we keep seeing new winners and newcomers. No body expect that Raducanu to even come to the third round let alone win the US Open and on next tournament we will probobly have a new tennis player win the tournament or someone that isnt at all in the top 10.
Ash Barty has had a varied game play this year pulling out of one tournament to then go on to win at Wimbledon and has again pulled out just in the last week.

I saw an interview with Barty after Wimbledon on an Australian network and she spoke of coming home in October or November as she would have at that time been on the playing circuit for seven or wight months.  Perhaps she's just tired of traveling in the Covid Era?

That could be the case actually. Barty hasn't played recently and players like Raducanu popped off. We even heard the news that the 2nd ranked player Sabalenka won't be playing the next tournament. Don't know what the case is, because a few years back it was only Serena and Maria Sharapova everywhere. It's also a good sign that new players are stepping up, but also a matter of fact that some players (not many though) get lost over time.

Messi is genius and he will adapt to the new mates, new tactic very soon. He shows some signal of good adaptation recently and I believe he will show his best after the Christmas.
About transfer, there is news that Haaland will join PSG to replace Mbappe.
Erling Haaland's agent Mino Raiola will 'request an eyewatering £43MILLION-a-year salary' for the striker to join PSG.

I don't think PSG will accept the complete loss in the case of Mbappe and they will try all things they can do to renew a contract with KM7. It would be a too dangerous team if they can keep Mbappe and have Haaland. Messi only play in Paris 2 to 3 seasons and at his age, he will have to face with downside of his performance soon. Mbappe and Haaland will be the future.

I don't think that PSG can have both Mbappe and Haaland at the same time. Firstly they cant afford that, and if they keep both of them, they will have to sell players like Neymar or Di Maria who play in a similar position. But the sign of Messi adapting to the new environment is very refreshing for the fans and the coach himself. Maybe Pochettiono has to play around with the formations and tactics more to find out what works best. So he has to spend some more time on the drawing board in these next couple of weeks.

Yes, exactly I agree with you. Every country has got its own problems. And If we were to mix racing with politics, that won't be the best of ideas. So maybe only keep it focused on racing only. I haven't seen the tracks in Qatar, but I'm hoping that we should be getting good tracks considering the amount of budget Qatar has for such stuff.
And I have no doubt that they will make an excellent track.  In recent years, all new tracks are being built in an interesting but also professional way.  For example, in Russia, in addition to Sochi, another highway was built near St. Petersburg.  Soon it will be included in the racing calendar.  As for Qatar, I think that such areas with such heat even in winter, and without rain at all, are not quite a suitable place, but this is understandably the case is being lobbied by their authorities.  Well, and probably right, they also want to see royal races there, and not just camel races Smiley Grin

Yes, I also think that the recent tracks made were very good. They are made very professionally and keeping the racers in mind. So I'm very optimistic about the tracks in Qatar. And we all know that Qatar can invest a huge lot into these things, so can surely hope for the investment into the tracks and organizing is a lot, maybe more compared to other countries. Let's just hope we get a nice track and great show of race.

If he goes to the Spurs, I think coach Pop would help him improve his talent, he is a good coach and a mentor as well, but the question is, who would the Spurs trade in exchange for Ben Simmons?
Probably the 76ers will demand multiple players in exchange for Simmons since the highest salary of the Spurs roster now earns only $15,178,571.
https://www.espn.com/nba/team/roster/_/name/sa/san-antonio-spurs
They surely will. They perspective with Ben Simmons is their main star and not Embiid. They built the team for him and surrounded him with shooters.
76ers management even kicked Jimmy Butler out for Al Horford because he is taking the position of Ben.
I don't think the Spurs have enough in their roster to satisfy the 76ers for a pleasing trade. Best options are Derrick White and Dejounte Murray.
But I doubt they will let them go after all, they are the rising stars of the league.

Yes, teams hardly want to let go of the younger blood in the team. Can the Spurs afford Ben if they don't have good enough players to trade in for? I'm not sure about that. But it is true that they don't have enough quality players to trade in for Simmons. Also, I don't think that the Sixers will agree to trade Ben for 2 or 3 players, rather they'd do that for a better player in his position. Let's see how the trade off goes for both teams.
2497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- Group Stage! on: October 02, 2021, 05:50:21 PM

The next year will be better for them but they need to conclude this year in the top 4 spots in the national championship or it will be a massacre without the money from Champions Leauge.
Barcelona still has a chance to improve their squad this season in January, I think La Liga is not a very competitive league so it won't be too difficult for Barcelona to be in 4th place in the standings at the end of the season, so maybe it will be a bit disappointing for Barcelona fans who hope this season barcelona can win a trophy after the failure of last season, even though barcelona condition is bad at this time but finishing in the top 4 is not a difficult thing for them even though they have been out of the championship path right now.

They very badly need a lethal striker alongside Aguero and a defender. As Griezmann has left, they have some room to buy a player. As Real Madrid has also lost some of their strength, maybe it won't be that hard for them to place within the top 4. Atletico could be a threat though. But if Koeman strategizes match by match, and tries to win the away matches, maybe placing fourth should not be that hard. All we need is for Aguero to recover and return soon.
2498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Reymart Gaballo (WBC bantamweight) on: October 01, 2021, 05:07:34 PM
The only way Donaire would win here is via knockout because if the fight goes the full 12 rounds chances are Donaire would gas out and Gaballo might take over in the championship rounds. So with that being said my bet is Donaire via KO, I hope the odds are attractive for this market.
Donaire is hitting with his age effect and fighting 12 rounds is already exhausting to him. It's difficult to gather points while stamina is depleting.
A knockout win for Donaire should be the key to win the fight. When they are both tired, Gaballo seems to have an advantage as he's currently in his prime and can manage to last 12 rounds with no problem with stamina.
Unless Donaire will school and show Gaballo what's the meaning of being a multi-champion and a titleholder.
And now being a veteran.  Grin
Will it be the time to pass the torch or will Donaire prove he can still fight and there still so much strength in his body to pursue for high rank boxers like Inoue for a rematch.
In the end, it's not really a loss for Donaire. He already proved a lot to the Filipino people and he will be kept in our hearts with pride. But that rematch should really happen before he retires. It's a UD which is not fun since both are known for a mass number of KO's, it will be more exciting if it will end with a sleep.

The guy is already 38 and he is aging fast. In this fight as well as all the fights he takes before his retirements, he has to try to win with a KO. Otherwise, his opponents will try to play a bit passive and try to lengthen the matches because he will get exhausted as the age will get the better of him. And winning against an exhausting Donaire will be easier for Gaballo. His retirement is very near, maybe 1 or 2 more matches till that.

The group stages for The International 10 is just a week away. But there are already some bad reports about players that are having the covid-19 virus.

But the good thing about this upcoming group stage is that they're playing in a room which is fine even some of the players are in the recovery process.
Yeah I heard this news. It's too bad for Invictus Gaming for not having JT incase he didn't recover before the TI but Team Aster suffers the most by having 3 player and coach with Covid-19. This will gonna impact a lot to them since they were hit during the final stage of there boot camp. Participating in a TI after battling Covid-19 is really devastating especially for there team work. They will need to adjust on the actual tournament. I wonder what they are doing on bootcamp

The post covid phase is really bad. And playing even after recovering from covid is not that easy. You cannot expect them to their 100% right after recovering from covid . It's very unfortunate for Aster. Having 3 players and a coach infected is bad news. Also, I'm glad about the rooms the players will be getting, good environment plays a major factor in my opinion in these kinds of tournaments. Hope the infected player recover soon.
2500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: September 27, 2021, 04:49:55 PM
This statement first came from the Indian Women camp (senior players), even some of them mentioned this in Ashwin's channel. That's why they are advocating for 4-5 teams only. I also in favor of starting with 4-5 teams at start then adding more team, may be next season. One thing is sure, quality will increase in women team after this, guess no one can deny that.
In the end, money matters. Indian women's cricket is in such poor shape because the salaries offered to the players are too low for them to remain as professionals. Right now only the national players can afford to do so. If WIPL is started with 4 teams, that would mean that a minimum of 30 additional players can get themselves elevated as professionals. Just take a look at Indian IPL players like Kamlesh Nagarkoti and Lalit Yadav. How much were they getting from domestic cricket, before being picked up by the IPL franchises?

Maybe this is a good start to take women's cricket in the right direction. WIPL is a good start in my opinion. Though 4 teams are not, but it's better than nothing right? They can eventually increase the number of teams and more players will get a chance to play and more better players will be spotted to be played for the national team. And maybe followed by this, more countries will hold women's league cricket overall benefitting women players around the world.
