1701  Economy / Economics / Re: Remain decentralized with crypto or centralized with banks. on: July 20, 2022, 02:46:42 AM
We have bitcoin on our side but we can't deny the comfortability that banks gives us on our daily lives. I myself have some money on my bank but it isn't that much since I don't fully trust them, It's just the life would be easier.
Yes, we still need their services and we can't deny that. In my opinion even though bitcoin is better adopted but basically bitcoin is not to replace this fiat system. Bitcoin will also not be a competitor but the advantages it has will be an alternative choice for us.
The cryptocurrency is an added service to give comfort and trust for the users against the traditional banking system. However the independent usage of bitcoin for now is low as known people accept it. The usage of having a wallet to hold bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is more secure than having our funds in bank, but to make cash in our hands to bitcoin we are in need of bank. This makes decentralised crypto and centralized banks a needed one.

It is a bit of a problem that the bank is pretty bad at protecting our privacy or that the storage of our assets won't be safe because we don't keep the key but banks are indispensable in our lives. We still need it, if your business is in trouble no one will be able to lend you bitcoin to overcome the difficulty but the bank can be the place for you to mortgage the property and solve that problem.

I will store my assets in crypto and the bank will still be a tool for us to convert assets to fiat money for the convenience of daily life.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you look down on Bushy or undeveloped areas? on: July 20, 2022, 02:29:21 AM
Have you ever or come across friends/ family members feel regretting of not buying land property in an undeveloped area that later turned  a city after some years, houses/land property becomes very expensive.  Time without numbers of have always heard many people how they gave histories about some areas when it was coming up land was sold for a very little amount of money,  then they had opportunity to get land for a penny but not interested of it because it was bushy and not developed.

After some years the place gets developed  by people who endured and quickly moved in no matter how it was bushy and undevelope. Most of the people I meet making complain like this never had opportunity again to afford a piece of small land again because of much responsibility of life.

It seems very painful because of the amount of money spent for renting a house annually.  Do you think buying your first landed property in a bushy area is a good investment for the future.

We should never look down on an undeveloped area, because a few years later the situation will definitely change. My own parents regret that
when they had a large income they were never interested in buying property in an undeveloped area. Even though as time goes by, one by one
the areas that have not developed are developing very rapidly,  and even the increase in property prices was very significant. After all, investing
in property is very profitable, especially buying property in undeveloped areas is much more recommended. Besides the price is usually more
affordable, the profit generated can also be very large, the most important thing is to be patient waiting  for the price of the property to rise.
This is actually a lesson for all of us, if our finances are limited and do not have the ability to buy property in developing areas, then consider
buying a property in an undeveloped area. It will make our future better, because property prices will always go up.

Simply put, we just have to think like this, the population will keep growing and the land will stay the same and no more can be created. Therefore, investing in real estate will definitely be profitable. The undeveloped areas have not received as much attention as the central areas, but once the central areas run out of space, it is imperative that we have no choice but to move to the bushy areas.

It is natural for them to raise prices but it will take quite a while, you can buy undeveloped areas but should determine it will be a long term investment.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 19, 2022, 10:39:52 AM
That's certainly true... I don't see Bayern as a favourite for the Champions League either, because there are plenty of other teams that can win... But for the Bundesliga I think they are better than Borussia Dortmund and other clubs... Somehow I have no doubt they will win the new season!
Especially after Lewandoski left Bayern Munich, wouldn't this decrease their performance a bit? Unless they get another new player who is totally worth it although this isn't easy.
To win the UCL in the next season is quite impossible for Bayern, many giant clubs from other leagues have more potential, especially Real Madrid and City. So at least they can defend their Bundesliga title.
Remember Sado mane was signed for Bayern, Lewandoski is a legend no doubt but he can still be done without. It is up to the head coach and the players to decide if lewandoski's transfer to Barcelona will affect their performance next season. It is still too early to predict who wins the Champions league and the Bundle liga title. For now all big clubs including Bayern have equal possibilities but towards the middle of the season we will know which club did the best signings and which club were able to manage the stars they bought.

You are right, It is not possible to predict which team will win the title now. We have seen the PSG team perform erratically despite having many star players in the squad. And so the team should not only have talented players, these players should adapt to the team. Performance must have stability and consistency. Otherwise, it will be very difficult to win the title. To stabilize the team, the coach must play an important role.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: July 19, 2022, 10:31:36 AM
At the World Cup, Argentina will be in Group C along with Poland, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. If we see an opponent like this then surely Argentina will go through to the next round, but when I consider winning the title I am not very sure. Because even, representatives from South America in my view Brazil is the best team because even though Brazil and Argentina are both unbeaten but Brazil still has a better winning record than Argentina during the qualifying round. With a record like that, although this is the last chance for Messi but still, Argentina is not the best in this world cup event.
Well... no one claimed that Argentina is the best team at the world cup. Without an argument, Brazil has the highest chances of winning the cup this time around. What favors Argentina is the recent form and presence of Lionel Messi. And since it is probably his last world cup, I am sure that the Argentine team would give their best attempt. Irrespective of the betting odds, this is the best squad Argentina has sent to the world cup ever since 1986. But I don't know whether that is enough to lift the trophy this time.

Brazil team has many star players. And almost all players of the Brazil team are with some renowned club. As a result, their players are becoming more experienced. So Brazil is definitely the favorite for the World Cup. But Argentina's team is not weak. Their forwards are strong. On the other hand, the defense has talented players like Lisandro Martínez. So the possibility of becoming world champions is not low.
1705  Economy / Economics / Re: Sri Lanka Economic Crisis is Getting Worse on: July 19, 2022, 05:09:31 AM
Sri Lanka, from a rice exporting country to a country without enough food to live on, just because of the stupid policies of a corrupt and selfish government. I hope the nations of the world and the IMF will support Sri Lanka through this terrible period.

The Sri Lankan government is said to be negotiating with the largest creditor, China, for a support package of 4 billion in the hope that everything will go smoothly and the people of Sri Lanka will overcome this crisis.
1706  Economy / Economics / Re: The fear of Bitcoin monopoly in El Salvador on: July 19, 2022, 04:42:43 AM
I can understand that El Salvador embraced Bitcoin but their way of investing was so haphazard as if they had never consulted anyone who is an expert in financial analysis or good at reading charts.

I remember that there was a chart of the purchase dates and it all seemed random without a solid economic plan as the price collapsed several times after the purchases.

Currently and historically, the price is ideal for investment, but we did not hear more investments, which reflects the economic situation in that country.

I'm sure that the president has access to councilors in regards to managing the country's finances. But you've got to understand that no one can predict what will happen to the price. You can be the biggest financial advisor in the country, you still don't have a crystal ball in your pocket. Anyways, I don't think the 1771 BTC the country owns represent a significant amount in its treasury.

Anyways El Salvador is not in a 'rosy' situation having 82.6% of GDP in debt. For every $1 of GDP they have to pay around 5 cents just to cover the interest (~5%). In comparison, the United States only pays ~1.6% of GDP in interest expenses.

Bitcoin is unpredictable, it can be said that they are unlucky to buy at higher than current prices and i also believe they have a plan for the current market situation. We are retail investors and we are aware of the volatility of bitcoin, then as president and have a financial advisory board El Salvador will definitely do better than us.

This is an ideal time to buy more bitcoins but given the world situation, I think countries will focus their resources on solving upcoming difficulties rather than investing. Like us, things are very difficult so everyone will limit their investments during this period and will focus on dealing with daily difficulties.
1707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Conditions of bounty campaigns these days on: July 18, 2022, 02:36:44 AM
Hello guys
Are you guys really getting paid from the Bounty campaigns these days? What are you earning on an average per week? How many campaigns are you working in?
I think alot of changed since 2018.
You are absolutely right, many of the bounty campaigns that I participated in from last 2019 until now have not paid. counted only 2 who have paid from the 5 campaigns that I follow. for today and so on, I don't know whether I'm paid or not, but I will still follow the bounty campaign.

Not all bounty campaigns will pay you, choosing bounty campaigns is like researching new projects to join. There will be real projects and scam projects so when participating in a bounty campaign you should also do your research. My recommendation is to only join the campaigns managed by the reputation managers on the forum, limit participating in too many campaigns at once, it will not help you get more rewards.
1708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: FUD Has Finally Taken Its Toll on Me on: July 18, 2022, 02:29:56 AM
Three weeks ago, I liquidated 10k from my stock portfolio into my bank account. My plan was to dump it into Bitcoin as soon as it dipped under 17k. But now, for the first time since I got into crypto investing in 2017, I'm having major doubts.

I'm beginning to wonder whether Bitcoin has a long-term future, now that much of the world's nations are caught up in this 'climate' hysteria, and want to ban proof-of-work protocols, like Bitcoin, which they claim is harmful to the environment.

For example, the EU recently held a vote to ban proof-of-work mining across member nations*. Thankfully, the vote failed, but this wasn't the first time they attempted it, and I don't think it'll be the last. Eventually, as younger and more 'progressive' individuals enter positions of political power in Europe, my guess is that they'll succeed. And, once they do, the other chimpanzees in countries around the world will follow them, potentially causing the demise of our beloved cryptocurrency.

Thoughts?

Assuming bitcoin will be banned from mining in EU it doesn't mean bitcoin will also be banned from mining in other countries. EU is only part of the world not the world is part of EU, you are overestimating EU.

Like China before, once the country with the largest number of miners in the world, after the ban was issued, the miners moved to other countries and the mining did not stop. There will always be countries that see the potential of bitcoin and they are ready to welcome it like El Salvador.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to be a blockchain based developer ?? on: July 18, 2022, 02:19:28 AM
Hello All! i would like to Become a blockchain developer But i have no any basic knowledge of coding or blockchain  . i was encouraged to be a blockchain developer by searching about bitcoin . show me the way to achieve my goal . completely a newbie To coding. how should i begin ??

To start my dream of becoming a blockchain developer, I think it's best to sign up for a class at the center or an online course in programming languages. From the basics as a programmer, you can develop yourself on the path you choose as a blockchain developer.

You will have a hard time becoming a blockchain developer if you start with bitcoin and blockchain while you do not know anything about programming languages such as C, Python...
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 17, 2022, 08:48:24 PM
It's hard to understand Sterling's departure from City. I'm talking about a football player who has won four League titles, an FA Cup Cup and a Champions League runner-up. These are from City time. Just when he's approaching the top of his game. City got a good transfer fee with one year left on the player's contract. But that cannot be reason enough. Because they lost a very good football player. I admit he has been unhappy lately but he would have stayed with the team if he had been given more time. I hope his new team gets a good career at Chelsea.
Rahim Sterling has served his purpose at Manchester City, and now is the time to leave and accept a new challenge since there is no point in remaining in a place where your service is no longer valued. Sterling departed for a fresh challenge because Manchester City had recently made new signings and all of those players needed playing time. I wish him nothing but success in his career.

I am thinking the same way. Rahim Sterling has been at Manchester City for 7 seasons. And he won several titles with Manchester City. And he is now 27 years old. This is the perfect time to take on new challenges. If he was older, he could not have gone to any good team. I hope he will adapt quickly to the new team Chelsea. And will improve his performance with the experienced Tuchel.
1711  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: July 17, 2022, 08:17:44 PM
Barcelona are probably trending everywhere. Its still a shock to me personally as the Bluagrana president, Joan Laporta have bring in vital players despite their pending debts. The team is currently down with financial instability and it's a censorious problem for the team. However, the president is proving beyond doubt that he's capable to manage the club and the Coach, Xavi is still fighting for a place to retain Frankie De Jong in his squad. Nevertheless, United have already reached agreement with the price tag but the former Ajax Midfielder might as well be staying in the team for another season.

It was really surprising to see Barcelona pulling off this transfer come true. No one in their right mind thought that Barcelona was able to get Robert Lewandowski especially after they had just executed a transfer worth probably 60 million for Raphinha. So Barcelona has spent 110 million euros on the transfer window in a matter of days. That's a luxury a lot of clubs with healthy financial situations cannot afford. Barcelona is making these transfers despite having debts worth billions of dollars. Now the only way Barcelona is able to make a substantial amount of money is they will have to win almost everything that there is to be won in the next season.
1712  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: July 17, 2022, 04:49:27 PM
How can you forget Nepal who is another good cricket side but never received icc attention just because they can't buy expats players ? ICC clearly is giving more preference to teams like Oman and UAE rather then focusing on such teams that are build completely from native players.
There is no doubt ICC current policies are killing teams which are going with their native countries, and they are completely failure to bring any solid policy for them which is never been ideal for spots authority like ICC they need to encourage these countries which are surely having better future in this game instead of favouring those are coming in game with adopted players and have no better infrastructure.

If they want to favour them then surely allow nearly five or six players but going with all 11 players from other countries and having status of adopted country is never been ideal situation which is surely bringing bad image and having negative impact on countries like PNG, Nepal and Kenya. In last few years now players from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are enjoying good in these adopted countries because they have good benefits from them just because of their better resources and native country players are going down.

Does Nepal hold talent hunts quite frequently? I don't think they do. Otherwise, they should have had a lot more players. A lot of young talented players in the pipeline. Nepal was a team that had a lot of potential if we just looked at it a few years ago. Nepal was playing quite competitively and it also was giving a lot of trouble to teams like Bangladesh, West Indies, Ireland, etc. But suddenly they just got lost in time.

I think they will have to show a good performance again if they want to get noticed by the ICC and also have a little more funding. And they will not be able to perform well as long as they don't have good players of their own. And let's be honest, the people of the country are not going to let their kids play cricket as a profession if the money is not good.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 100k or more in 2022? on: July 17, 2022, 02:43:01 PM
seeing the movement from the beginning of the year only once in March bitcoin can and is able to increase more, after that it doesn't look at all that bitcoin can increase and I am pessimistic that it will improve quickly especially to be able to reach $100K.
It's too hard $100K will be reached in 2022, I wouldn't really believe in that but always feel optimistic that good things will still happen for the bitcoin price this year. I have no doubts about bitcoin's future potential over the long term, but for the rest of the year I seriously doubt $50K or anywhere near the previous ATH will be achieved.

So $100K in 2022 still doesn't make much sense to me, but really no one knows for sure when $100K will be reached. I'm sure the next halving will have an impact on price increases, but at the moment the selling pressure is still very strong making it difficult to break the new resistance.

As far as we can tell, there is nothing we can do to predict when bitcoin will reach $100k, but we are only certain that bitcoin will reach 100k$ in the future. Honestly, I'm not optimistic at the moment, bitcoin won't rise anytime soon as bitcoin shows the possibility of a drop still happening this year. What I am waiting for will be a new bitcoin bottom rather than a bull run this year, I am waiting for bitcoin to drop in price to accumulate more of my bitcoin.
1714  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 17, 2022, 02:34:07 PM
Where will be the bottom and where will be the highest, everyone wants to know this, but unfortunately no one can know. All are just predictions based on each investor's experience and knowledge. You shouldn't waste time looking for the bottom of bitcoin,  it will not give accurate results but just waste your time and miss the opportunity to buy bitcoins at a good price. Buy when you feel it's the right price for you and your goals.
1715  Economy / Speculation / Re: If Bitcoin soon returns to $25K - $30K on: July 17, 2022, 02:20:48 PM
My vote goes for "More buyers will step in" because right now, everyone is looking out for a bottom.

We know about Bitcoin's cycles.
When we reach a certain amount of $ per Bitcoin, people are getting FOMO and we can enter a new bull market.
But we need to reach a certain price above our current low for people to get enough trust.

I also predict there will be more buyers if bitcoin price hits 30k.  There are many people waiting for bitcoin to fall further before purchasing, but if bitcoin rises to 30k, then they will jump in to buy as they think their prediction is wrong, and they do not want to miss the opportunity to buy cheap bitcoin. Many will say that the bear season is over and the bull season has come when bitcoin hits 30k, there will be a certain Fomo at that point.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2022, 03:30:23 PM
To be honest, I didn't expect this to finally become a reality, because so far the Lewandowski transfer saga has been quite complicated and long-winded to take up a lot of time even though Lewandowski actually wanted the move, Bayern Munich, who kept charging high prices for Lewandowski, forced Barcelona to fail again and again to finalizing the deal and it looked like a move would be impossible when Lewandowski started his return to training camp with Bayern Munich, but now Barcelona fans should be relieved and grateful that Barcelona has managed to land one of the best strikers in the world.
The signing of Lewandowski was quite time-consuming for Barcelona because their offer was rejected several times but in the end Bayern agreed to Barcelona offer. Lewandowski is very interested in joining Barcelona because maybe he wants to experience the Ballon d'or with Barcelona in the future. It will be interesting to enter the LaLiga competition next season because the arrival of Lewandowski will increase the prestige of LaLiga as it used to be because there is already fierce competition in the title race next season.
Because it was Lewandowski's wish for Barcelona and in the end they managed to play in LaLiga and compete with Real Madrid to be Barcelona's toughest opponent.
Lewandowski seems to have a good plan and he is a very good player even though he is 33 years old but for the next two seasons he will be fine and I would not expect his performance to drop with age but this is the love he wants to play at Barcelona.

Although Lewandowski is 33 years old, he is expected to be able to continue his impressive performances for at least 2 more seasons. He has played very well in the last few years with Bayern Munich. And now he has taken on a new challenge in La Liga. Having played in the Bundesliga for a long time, it may take some time to adapt to the La Liga gameplay. Lewandowski is talented and experienced, he will be able to adapt to the players of the Barcelona team very quickly.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: July 16, 2022, 03:14:04 PM
West Indies VS Bangladesh

Like the first two ODIs, West Indies are likely to lose the last match as well. Bangladesh won the toss and allowed West Indies to bat first. But their collection was 28/3 in 13 overs and West Indies lost 3 wickets for just 16 runs. Like today we are seeing West Indies' batting weakness. West Indies will lose all wickets before 200 runs.

After losing 3 wickets for just 16 runs, they managed to collect 79 runs in 25 overs without losing any more wickets. Nicholas pooran collected 30 and Keacy Carty is able to collect 32 runs. Although their run rate is now only 3.15. But now it is more important for them to survive at the crease than to score runs. Pooran and Carty are batting well.
1718  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the Mt. Gox coins affect Bitcoin’s price in August? on: July 15, 2022, 01:53:01 PM
It is difficult to predict what will happen in this case, it is more likely that those who need money will sell their bitcoins as soon as they receive them. Those who don't need cash urgently may not be in a hurry to sell bitcoin because they already know that bitcoin is in a bear market and has lost more than 60% of its value against ATH. They have waited almost 8 years to get their bitcoin back and they may be willing to wait a little longer to be able to sell bitcoins at the best price they expect.
1719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you regret buying before the dip on: July 15, 2022, 01:41:36 PM
We never know whether the current price has dipped or not, if we compare it with ATH that has happened of course we have already gotten a discount of more than 70%, and this fact makes me have to buy bitcoin immediately before it skyrockets again.
Bitcoin is not going to skyrocket sny Time soon because the bearish market is still having long strong effect this time. This is nice time ro buy Bitcoin because we should expect it increment from the year next upper not now Bitcoin still going down couple with the brother Ethereum and othe associates, for me i will buy Bitcoin when the price reached below ten thousand dollars and thirteen thousand but i know that price will take time before it will reach such level because of how people is bumping the market to come up, when you observe cryptocurrency you see that many people is buying because of profit of bullish market

Bitcoin will not recover anytime soon, but waiting for 10k-13k is not a price I believe will be achievable. Bitcoin would be worth a very low price if it were to happen.  I also think bitcoin will still drop and my target is 15k but I also start buying when bitcoin price hits 19k because I think market is very unpredictable it wont be what we think and I don't want to regret if it goes back up instead of going down. I bought at $19k and will keep buying if bitcoin falls below $17k.
1720  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can the price Hit back $50k this month? on: July 15, 2022, 01:29:33 PM
I think it's very difficult to break through at 50k. we have to be realistic looking at the current state of the world, many countries are in trouble so surely people will put aside in terms of investing, especially investing in the crypto world. people will definitely be more concerned with the state of food than investing. maybe For now, especially in June, bitcoin's movement will stagnate.

50k is a far-fetched goal this month or even the end of the year. Well, with the current economic situation, food crisis, energy crisis, people will not invest during this time but will focus on finding ways to get through this difficult period first. Therefore, investment channels still have a difficult period and cash flow will continuously withdraw from the market. With the Fed about to raise interest rates, I think the market will continue to withdraw and the bearish season will last.
