2481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Round of 16! on: March 21, 2022, 08:49:19 PM
I think you said it all nicely, most of us think the same, Liverpool goes further through Benfica and City through Atletico, but can there be any surprises? Atletico plays nice football and have a nice string of victories behind them, self-confidence is at a level, and if anyone can surprise it might be them!
Nobody is talking about Villareal, it seems to everyone that it's a finished game and that Bayern has moved on! They are obviously a much stronger team with more experience, and maybe for Villarreal, the quarterfinals are a good success already!?
Chelsea is in some administrative problems due to this war situation, but the guys are playing good football, if they beat Real and move on, maybe the selling price will increase!?
I expect interesting matches, we saw some nice surprises in the last round, so I believe we will see another one, the question is which one!?

I think that the matches are going to be quite competitive because there is a reason why these teams have qualified this far into the tournament. But, I really don't think there will be many surprises. If anything I think in my opinion Chelsea is going to win the match against Real Madrid but that match could go either way. I don't say Liverpool having any problems and also not Bayern Munich.

The chances of an English club becoming a Champions League winner are very high... No doubt that Man City and Liverpool should play in the semi-finals! With Chelsea and Real Madrid there are doubts, but I think Real Madrid have a better chance of winning... Chelsea aren't having the best of times right now... Although it would be fun if they could get to the semi-finals too! Then it would be Bayern competing against three English teams...

I really don't have too much doubt about the champions trophy going to an English side this year. It really seems hard for the English teams to lose except for Chelsea versus Real Madrid. But, even then in that match, I think Chelsea is going to be the winners. If Bayern Munich does end up taking the champions League trophy it will not be surprising but it will surely be something to watch.
2482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 21, 2022, 08:38:07 PM
Juventus is getting closer to shifting the position of Inter Milan, this makes it even more interesting.
Inter have played in 29 matches while Juventus have played 30 matches, This means that the difference in points between Inter and Juve is still quite far, but if Inter continue to "draw" or "lose" then the chance for Juve to shift Inter is wide open
Inter will face Juve in the next match (next month), that will determine whether Juve can win and shift Inter's rankings
Do you actually think Juventus can be able to overtake the 3rd position from Inter? Well, it can probably happen. Because, Juventus are currently in a more better shape, unlike when they started the season. While, I won't be surprise if they beat Inter in their next match. Moreover, they will be hosting the game. Although, Inter is not a weak team, and they will struggle not to lose. But, If eventually Juve couldn't win, it won't by any means affect their position.

It seems highly unlikely that Juventus will be able to achieve the third spot in the league. But it is obviously possible. And for that to happen they need to win consistently. At this moment they certainly seem to be in better shape than they were at the best part of the season and they have played better football. I think they will hold on to their fourth position in the league and more importantly try to stay ahead of the fifth position.
2483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin announcement What you think? on: March 21, 2022, 03:14:41 PM
I also did some research on the APE coin, like I said APE is a memecoin that represents NFT. In the short term, when the NFT trend is "expanded", the APE token ratio will have strong growth spurts.

The APE token has certain uses but it is still a memecoin so it should be invested with caution. If you already have a profit, I think you should sell it, not keep it or buy back.
2484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coins will explode in 2022? on: March 21, 2022, 02:31:24 PM
Shiba inu looks like the perfect solution to means of payment and I'm sure this will be better future doge coin, the second project in my mind is Apecoin yes this is another project that will have it's hype intact for a long period of time because of its NFTs.
ApeCoin was created by the founders of NFT Bored Ape Yatch Club collection, I find the community based project quite large and the ApeCoin Token can be used to manage the community and to Airdrop those who already own NFT BAYC.
IMO. To me, APE Token is quite similar to NFT's representative meme coin token. Co-founder Ya Siu himself also identified this as a type of MemeCoin. SHIba and memecoin we should be very cautious when investing.
2485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 20, 2022, 07:57:44 PM
Juventus are now playing with Salernitana and leading 2-0, they are unlikely to miss a victory. It turns out that only Inter from the top four lost points and now Juventus will be only one point behind (Inter have a game in hand, but it looks like the team has problems with scoring so it will be difficult to convert this game into points).
There is no use of Juventus to compete with the Inter Milan because the target is the same, namely tickets to the Champions League next season
Juventus is only focused on securing a place in the top 4 and now 10 points away from their rivals Lazio I think it's safe then just keep consistency no other mistakes
Especially now that Juventus is only focused on the local league after being eliminated in the Champions League.
It is true to say that the main focus of Juventus is to secure the 4th position but if there is a chance to finish in a better position than 4th, why not?
8 matches remaining means there are still 24 points to grab by Juventus, Milan and Napoli while Inter still has the chance to gain max 27 points.
Juventus still has the chance to win the title although just small chance but chance is still a chance and Juventus should do their best in the 8 remaining matches to keep the chance.

I think it is really not realistic to think that Juventus is going to win the league title this season. The best thing that can happen is them finishing in third place. But, I really have to say that it seems highly unlikely that Juventus is going to finish in a better position than the fourth. But, at the same time, I am quite positive that they are not going to face any problems from the teams below. if they can win consistently I think they have a chance to actually finish in third place.
2486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 20, 2022, 07:38:40 PM
Bayern Munich finally put an end to their bad streak in the league today. They destroyed Union Berlin by 4-0 in Allianz Arena and improved their morale as well. Lewandowski had an impressive performance in this game as he scored two goals. He has reached 31 goals in this season and he is like running to a new goal record. However, it is really hard to see a record this time I think. Because there are only seven games left and he needs to score at least 41 goals in total to break a new record if I'm not mistaken.

There are chances for Lewandowski for 10 more goals from 7 games as you say. Just checked across the recent matches Bayern played. Lewandowski has almost scored minum 2 goals when they scored more than 4 goals. so yes there are chances for more than 10 goals from him. He has been one of the main pillars for Bayern. I have even seen him giving lots of chances to youngsters to strike goals as well. He is worth to set up a new record.

Bayern Munich did dominate in the last match but it was against Union Berlin. So, it was expected that they were going to dominate the match. And there was nothing surprising in my opinion. And it is going to be the same old story again. Bayern Munich is going to win the league title and Dortmund being the runner up. But if Dortmund does end up winning this match against Cologne, things might get interesting.
2487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 20, 2022, 07:13:19 PM
I hope that Salah and Liverpool can find the middle way in this contract talks. Salah is a crucial player and should never be lost by Liverpool for some more years. He has proven so many times that he can be very productive and beneficial for the team for more years too. He is one of the best footballers already now and he deserves a solid contract too. But Liverpool must be wishing his demands to be lowered a little more. And as there is still time and no need to rush things, I hope they will extend his contract sooner or later.
I don't understand Liverpool.  Mo Salah is a very good actor.  An attacker who dominates the Premier League.  He certainly deserves the best salary.  It has to be rewarded somehow.  If he doesn't renew his contract with Liverpool, other teams can give him the money he deserves.  I think Newcastle United will try to build a super squad next year.  If they open the mouth of the purse, maybe even Salah is in the possibilities.  After all, Newcastle is a team bought by the richest family in the world.

But, I wonder if Muhammad Salah really wants to go from Liverpool to Newcastle United. That surely seems like a step down for someone like Muhammad Salah.
Actually, I really think that the way he is still performing in the Liverpool squad and scoring so many goals when he has a lot of competition in the English Premier League deserves a little more money.

At the same time, I understand the concerns of Liverpool. They have to spend money carefully. I really hope to see Muhammad Salah stay in Liverpool.
2488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread on: March 20, 2022, 06:54:45 PM
After having a really tough matchup against Galatasaray, Barcelona are going to have Frankfurt as their next opponent. Frankfurt can be a dangerous team as they are a German team. But I believe Barcelona are going to make a bigger effort than the one against Galatasaray. They must do this to move their opponent out of their way quicker.
Frankfurt could be a dangerous opponent, of course, but I don't think Barcelona will allow them to be dangerous. If we compare the current performance of these two teams, then Frankfurt will be far behind. Their performance in the Bundesliga is not good. They need to improve if they want to win against Barcelona. There is no way to make Barcelona feel weak. Every player on the team is now able to play well.
But if we compare Galatasaray with Eintracht Frankfurt, I think we will agree that Eintracht Frankfurt might be at a better level compared to Galatasaray's rivalry in the local league. That way, I think Barcelona will still not be easy to qualify for the semifinals, I personally will still consider Barcelona will have difficulty against this German team and I personally am still not completely sure about Barcelona.

For me, Barcelona is obviously a better team than Frankfurt at the moment. Barcelona should be able to win in the upcoming Europa League match against them.

Obviously, if we compare Galatasaray with Frankfurt, Frankfurt might seem like a better team. but that obviously does not make them better than Barcelona, and the way Barcelona is playing I think They are not going to have too many problems beating Frankfurt. I am actually keeping a closer look for today's El Clasico match.

I think this thread may end up pumping a particular coin or few of them. You have made a lot of picks on the list. On to my pick, I think I want to choose Shiba Inu as first choice and I think Tron may also do a surprise because it started going for increase at the last bull before bitcoin dropping back.
Interest in the keyword "Buy Shiba Inu" is trending down on google.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the Shiba Inu token has suffered a “massive loss” after being turned away by more than 30,000 holders.
According to statistics from March 16 to March 17, from 1,199,453 wallet addresses holding SHIB decreased to 1,166,621 - equivalent to 2.74%. This is a significant reduction. This shows that many investors have realized that meme tokens are worthless and that they will soon disappear over time.

2490  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: March 20, 2022, 04:56:37 PM
They can for sure.

What do people think of Russia, as a small country that won't recover or will be a big hit by those sanctions? I think that it's going to be an easy thing for them.

Just look at their allies, they have China on their back, and for sure that it will help them to cover up those sanctions if ever they can stand on their own.

But I think they will.
Sanctions left and right made Russia hard to recover from this war but knowing how huge this country and how capable they are, i think Russians will still be able to survive and recover from all these sanctions. However, with these different sanctions, Russians will find it hard to live a normal life after this war but with the help of China, things will slowly recover until all the damages from this war will only be part of history.
Before the start of the war, President Putin had a meeting with President Xi Jinping during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The two men discussed bilateral issues and international strategic security. The two sides have called the partnership "unlimited". Showed that they were prepared for all possible scenarios and the closeness of the two sides. The Russians will not perish from sanctions, but recovery and growth will require the help of the Asian giants.
2491  Economy / Economics / Re: Anonymous hacker's group fight against Russia on: March 20, 2022, 04:19:35 PM

But even many Ukranians formerly came from Russia when USSR is there supporting the Russia as well and I will blame the president of Ukraine for all the Chaos because he ignored the warnings of Russia multiple times but now stranded in the middle of nowhere so the only way of ending is bowing, I am not supporting the Russia here but Ukraine president didn't understand the world politics so he went into the trap now.

War is painful and deadly. We are not from two countries where war happens, but no one wants war in peacetime. But it is clear that the president of Ukraine has trusted too much in bogus promises from western countries and ignored the warnings from president Putin, now the two are mired in an unending war.

Ukraine and Russia, no matter who wins, no one benefits. The human and economic losses will take decades to recover. As a great power, Russia will not withdraw until its goal is achieved.
2492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 19, 2022, 07:51:39 PM
Mainz literally crushed Bielefeld today by a score like 4-0 in a home game. This was a needed win for them after losing two times in a row lately. Mainz were already a solid home team and didn't surprise me here at all. Bielefeld were not a good team to compete with them at the same level. And I'm surprised about the Freiburg's result today. They should have been able to beat Greuther Furth. This has created a good chance for Leipzig to take the fourth place from Freiburg and have a two-point difference too.
Mainz yes were on fire in the 2nd half with 3 goals back to back with 1 in the 1st half at very 1st minute. What a lovely opening it was from Jonathan Burkardt. He scored 2 goals and yes ended up with 4:0 against Arminia. Arminia's performance has not been so good. Bayern has started up as usually so good with 2 goals as of now against Union Berlin in 30 minutes. So good to watch.

Wait, so 3 goals were scored by penalty kicks! How can you be so stupid to consider three penalties in one match? And how can you even concede a goal in the first minute of the match?
Anyway, Bayern Munich is just running over their opponent right now. They are 4-0 up. Lewandowski scored 2 goals. 81 minutes have been played.
2493  Economy / Economics / Re: Donate to Ukraine on: March 19, 2022, 02:09:36 PM
...We have seen Ukraine officials saying they have used 100+ million dollars from crypto donations to buy guns, weapons, drones, food, armours and many other things to help their people fight off Russia and win. That is a great thing considering how we are on the right side of the world right now...

I have not found information anywhere about $100 million in cryptocurrency that came as a donation for Ukraine. According to the official website of Aid For Ukraine https://donate.thedigital.gov.ua / over the past 21 days, approximately $55 million in cryptocurrency has been collected in total.
According to an aggregated article that I have read, it says ukraine has received almost $100 million in crypto. 60 million was transferred to the official wallet address of the Ukrainian government and the rest was transferred to the addresses of other organizations.

2494  Economy / Economics / Re: Usa real estate prices % how much have gone up on: March 19, 2022, 01:41:00 PM
The bubble in the real estate market has long been predicted, there are some experts who say that in the near future this bubble will burst and make the global real estate market crash.

... but if we look at the potential of the real estate market in the long term, it is still promising, so many investors stay in this real estate market
In any market that can make a profit, there are sharks involved. The real estate market is like the gold market, it cannot crash.

The world population is increasing day by day. land cannot be created anymore, so the demand for real estate will increase every year and it will not stop.
Where I live, real estate in the countryside has increased rapidly, even increasing x2, x3 compared to before the pandemic hit. I know there are big players manipulating the market, but clearly land is something that will last over time and its value won't go away.
2495  Economy / Economics / Re: The economy is important for a family! on: March 19, 2022, 01:26:03 PM
To summarize, we could say that they should be financially literate because doing so will increase their chances of being successful. We should guide them through the process of investing, as you can see now that technology is evolving and we must adapt to it in order to be successful in our endeavors. I believe that kids these days are easy to teach when it comes to this, and that we should simply guide them down the correct path because they do not have any previous experience in this area, allowing them to be successful.
We should be careful about our teaching though. I mean my father tried the same, tried to teach me value of money at a very early age when I was not even a teenager yet, just a child, and I learned it and I am thankful for it to him. However, this resulted with me putting money at the center of my life and react to it like the most important thing ever. I sometimes did not even care enough about my health, and still worked hard to earn.

Lately, life happened and it gave me a good lesson that says health is more important than money, and I took care of that problem before I went to back. Now I am working maybe more than ever, but I took that break and realized my health is very important. If that did not happen, I would be working from early morning until late night and probably die at early age (still could happen of course, nobody knows).
Must say life now, without money most of us will die, money is the determining factor in our life. But we should also remember one thing we are money makers, so if we don't have health then we won't make money. Health is the first thing we need to pay attention to, because with health we can do many things. Health and loved ones are two things we must not forget just for the sake of money, when a lot of money cannot be bought back.
2496  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic crisis its good on: March 19, 2022, 01:11:34 PM
There is a crisis that of course can bring goodness, for example, the oil crisis and coal, maybe this will have a very big impact that causes the electricity outages, vehicles and factories to stop completely, but in the long run it will make humans be independent and do not depend on the internet, transportation and etc. And I'm sure someday this will happen.
This is not good unless this sectors are the one benefitting from it. It’s the consumers that suffers in the price hike oil and gas. Many we’re too affected as well the price of all the basic needs. When there is crisis people became smart in outsourcing  and limiting their spending maybe that’s the only good about economic crisis people tends to be creative also to find ways to fit what they’re budget can have.
No crisis is good or beneficial, economic crisis will push up material prices, currency depreciate and easily cause inflation. We are the ones who suffer. The war has disrupted oil supplies and prices have risen so much, it is affecting us directly. we are the ones who pay more for petrol and oil.

How can the OP think the oil and coal crisis is good?, It would be beneficial to have people hoarding oil and enriching the tycoons, and none other than governments. If we don't use the internet, it's like we're going back to prehistoric times.
2497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: potential moonshots on: March 19, 2022, 05:16:12 AM

Why not invest those "small amount" in one of those top altcoins? Even those "small amounts" in the long run might give you massive profit. If you had invested 100$ in bitcoin few years ago, you would have made some good profit today.

Correct. Many people think that the top coins are no longer likely to rise or can make a big profit for them, so they decide to invest in shitcoin thinking it can make them rich quickly. This is a common mistake that most investors make.
Crypto market capitalization is very small compared to stocks and forex. The potential for future development is still a lot, so the value of really potential coins will increase many times in the future if they continue to exist in the market.
2498  Economy / Economics / Re: What if Russia economy grows higher after the war on: March 19, 2022, 04:50:59 AM
Well if thenRussian economy gets bigger instead even with the sanctions then they really are more powerful.  But definitely Putin will not.get all the credits because it must China that is much powerful and could buy up Russias products.

If any reason why Russia wont fall is because gradually countries are ditching USD. The sanction seem to trigger them to abandon the use of USD. Russia and Saudi news collaborate with this news which they wil be using Yuan.
Russia and Saudi are the two largest oil exporters in the world, if the recent news turns out to be true then the dollar will be dropped from the Petro-USD game instead of the Petro-Yuan then the Russian economy will become stronger than ever.
Saudi turned down Biden's offer last week but can the US and NATO let them do it?. If it happens, it will be a major blow to the dominance of the US government. The balance of the world will change.

Shocking bitcoin supply on centralized exchange, less and fewer bitcoins are stored and traded on CEX exchange.
The number of holders from 1-10 BTC has increased a lot (orange line) in the past 2 weeks.
The market has endured more than 4 months of decline, are we preparing for a new bullish season?

2500  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanction is the right option? on: March 16, 2022, 04:24:52 AM
For a country like Russia, sanctions will only benefit, will develop its own production of goods. Already, gasoline prices in Russia are falling. And this is part of the cost of production. By continuing the policy of sanctions, we support the Russian economy and ruin our own. I think it is necessary to negotiate.
Sanctions will not benefit anyone including the US and Nato, but sanctions will certainly not cause the Russian economy to collapse. they have stood firm over the years by previous sanctions.
Russia is the second largest oil exporter in the world and the world needs energy to sustain it. There is no way to completely block Russian supply, and China is an example of this. China will benefit if the US and the West ban oil and gas imports from Russia.
