1541  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: November 27, 2022, 08:31:51 PM
Where does anyone get the idea that Real is not among the favorites to win the Champions League?
Also, why do you think Real were only favorites when Ronaldo played for them? In my opinion, Benzema replaced him very well.
Benzema replace Ronaldo very well? That's funny, how many champions league were Real Madrid able to win with Benzema after the departure of Christino Ronaldo. When Ronaldo leaves your club you can hardly replace him as he's irreplaceable. Since Ronaldo departure from Manchester united (the first time) Manchester united has found it impossible for him to be replaced and same can be said about other clubs he has played for. Sure you can get another player that'll bring his style of play to the team but not a Ronaldo replacement.

I don't think we can ever see a player as Ronaldo again, his mentality, dedication and determination he brings into games are out of this world. I have no doubt that Benzema has been good for Real Madrid but for how many seasons? This is what makes Ronaldo stand out from the crowd. You can't compare Ronaldo's Real Madrid era with that of Benzema, that's just disrespect on CR7.

There are a lot of people who are generally confused about the style of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. There is no doubt that Lionel Messi has a natural talent for football. Similarly to Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo also has natural talent, but it is not the same as Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo has become Cristiano Ronaldo by working very very diligently. His dedication and work has made him a better player. Moreover, it is very difficult to find a place that has the kind of dedication and dedication. And now people are not keeping him just because he is old.

No way Karim Benzema can match or has ever matched the era that Cristiano Ronaldo had with Real Madrid. I also agree that this is just straight disrespect.

I am more concerned about CZ's role in the collapse, which some have described as a betrayal. My only hope is that binance will not be the next target as the top exchange. After withdrawing from the exchange to aid the collapse, he now appeared to be interested in acquiring it. Several months ago, you made over 2 billion dollars on the same exchange. Due to Bankman's association with top American politics, I'm wary about revenge on the Binance as a Chinese exchange companies that seem to dominate the same industry.
While he has a role in all of this we cannot completely blame him for what happened, SBF has taken some moves against him on the past and CZ decided to return the courtesy, the difference is that binance was a solid institution while FTX was not, so it collapsed after what CZ did, however we cannot really put too much blame on him because even if he did nothing then a collapse of the FTX exchange would have happened anyway at some point in the future.

CZ was not the one who initiated the collapse of FTX, coindesk was the first to publicize the audit report of FTX with many holes when most of the reserve assets were FTT. I don't see this as retaliation or unfair competition, if FTX had enough reserves as they claim they wouldn't have a problem with FTT being dumped. The FTX bomb is a bomb that will explode sooner or later and I feel fortunate that it is detected early, the longer it is, the more severe the consequences.

What do you think of the Mt Gox dump? I know this has been talked about but I also know a lot of people are requesting cash instead of bitcoins.

Will the Mt Gox coin selling pressure be enough to push this down?

I think there are probably some people staying away because of this huge amount of coins that are going to hit the market and many have to be sold because there is a good portion of people who requested cash.

The news of Mt.gox releasing bitcoin is still just a rumor, I remember Mt.gox's Fud has been spreading from 2021 to now and so far we haven't seen any bitcoins released to pay the victims that year other than bullshit announcements.
Another thing is not all will be paid in bitcoins their customers can choose to pay with stablecoins and they wont release all those 137k bitcoins at once so there wont be any effect happen to the market, don't let it scare you and spread Fud to them.

As a Manchester United fan, I don't think my opinion matters if the coach Erik Ten Hag wants Memphis Depay back at Manchester United all because of his love he's got working with dutch player's. Me as a Manchester United fan, I do not give him my blessings on the return if Manchester United are heavily linked with him. Even Edison Cavani would have done a better job with this squad than Memphis Depay.

When it comes to player's Manchester United has shown interest in, the number one name to call is Victor Oshime, and for the information, Napoli are not ready to loose the service of the Nigerian International even if his it's over hundred million splashed on the young Nigerian. So it's fingers crossed currently.
At this point, I really don’t know what Manchester United are planning to do. I just hope that they do not take any decisions that will not be in their favor. I hope Manchester United make the right decision. But the problem is that bringing in Memphis Depay is not going to be the right decision in my opinion. And I agree with you that even Edinson Cavani could have done better with this team instead of Memphis Depay.

And right now, we are also hearing that Manchester United are still interested in Franki de Jong. The team needs a striker badly, and I don't understand why they are still looking at him. And if they are so interested in bringing him in, why did they bring in Casemiro?

I also don't think that Memphis Depay should be the number one target of Manchester United. I just don't see him as an absolute top player in european football to be honest. Don't get me wrong he is a talented player but definitely not in the same league as the best ones in my opinion. Also i am not sure if Depay really has the character to be an absolute top player that also is able to lead his team to a victory or through a difficult match. For me he seems like one of those ghetto-kids that made a big fortune pretty much out of nowhere because of his talent in football and now he kinda became a pretty big diva that only plays good if he is in a good mood.
I think it will be better to bring in Victor Osimhen, as @Oluwa-btc said. But it is also certain that Victor Osimhen is not coming to Manchester United right now. What other options does Manchester United have?

Erling Haaland and Mbappe are not in the options. And rather than getting Memphis Depay right now, I would suggest that they save the money and bring a striker later.

Continuing with the positive plans coming from El Salvador, after continuing their plan to issue bitcoin bonds, they also recently established a new National Bitcoin Office (ONBTC). The mission as well as the purpose of the establishment of ONBTC is: to manage crypto-related projects, to provide information about bitcoin, blockchain, and crypto to anyone interested in El Salvador. And strengthen support for foreign investors who want to invest in this country.
Quote
Article 2 defines the objective of the ONBTC which will be to design, diagnose, plan, program, coordinate, follow up, measure, analyze and evaluate plans, programs and projects related to Bitcoin for the economic development of the country. It will also be able to collaborate with other countries when required, in matters related to the BTC.

Among the functions of the entity are to conceptualize and provide information related to Bitcoin, Blockchain and cryptocurrencies in El Salvador, "to the media and any interested person".

The ONBTC must also support international Bitcoin, Blockchain and cryptocurrency companies or investors who wish to invest and visit the country, as well as play an active role in Salvadoran participation in different international forums.

~
She is quite a famous investor and also a billionaire born from financial investment. In September 2021 she also made a bitcoin prediction to hit $500k in the next 5 years and this year she made another prediction for bitcoin. Although these predictions are exaggerated, don't take her too seriously, as it shows she's pro-bitcoin and believes in bitcoin's future.

After all, we all believe in the future of bitcoin despite the recent drop and each has his or her own vision and prediction. I also agree with everyone that bitcoin will hit $100k in the next halving and what will happen after that we shouldn't rush to predict.
They aren't really that exaggerated though. Just take a look back at what people used to call exaggerated back in 2015 for example. In those days price was around $200-$400 and if you told someone that price is going up to $20,000 in only 2 years (9000% rise) they would have said the same thing about your speculation because it sounded crazy.

$1 million in ~8 years is only 4900% rise or about 600% rise per year which is nothing if you look at past price rises bitcoin has seen.

But I don't think bitcoin will grow like that, I mean the bigger the cap the slower the growth, very much simpler from $10k to $100k, same increment x10 but its very different market capitalization. The current market capitalization of Bitcoin is 350 billion if bitcoin hits 1 million then bitcoin capitalization will reach 35 trillion USD, 3 times the gold market cap and 1/2 the world stock market capitalization. I didn't think this would happen so quickly. That's why people just expect the next ATH in 2025 after the halving happens to be $100k.
You can easily see how the growth of bitcoin changes over time, it cannot grow as uniformly as we would expect.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 26, 2022, 01:42:42 AM
If Napoli are unbeaten in their last 15 matches, then there is Cremonese who have not tasted a win in 15 matches, something of a difference between a top team and a bottom team. Cremonese are under threat to return to the second tier if they can't improve their performances. It would be a shame if it really happened, because they wasted the opportunity to be able to appear in the Italian top league.
A good update from bottom to top with most chances they will be in Serie B in next season because in current circumstances they have no chance for survival with two other newly promoted sides are doing good job and have better position but Cremonese is surely under biggest threat to go down again with them Verona and Sampdoria are also worst sides which are having nothing to enjoy in this season because performance is not up to standard of big league and things are also not favourable which mean most chances they could be also going down in this season which could be the biggest setback for these clubs.
After the break at the top most chances we will have no change quickly because this all needs good time and better performance for bringing down Napoli which is surely having another good season and with current performance they could be champions.

I don’t think that Napoli is going to face too many problems after the break of the World Cup. At least not immediately. They have a very good lead. And they are not going to lose it fast. And I also agree with @jostorres that the type of performance that Napoli was showing before the break, if they can continue that, it is not going to be very hard for them to win the league title, in my opinion.

Among all of the teams, Inter, Milan, Roma, and others. I think Juventus is going to give the best competition to Napoli. Because Juventus is playing really well, and they have improved their performance a lot. In a very short period of time, they have achieved third place in the table. I think Napoli should be afraid of them.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 26, 2022, 12:50:07 AM
How much of a number nine is Memphis Depay ?! As as I can tell, he is more of a winger than a number nine. He's had a Poor run at Manchester United under a Dutch Coach but did he succeed ? Hell No! I still don't think Manchester United needs his service, maybe for the short run but not for a season or more.
He did quite well at French league winning the tittle with Lyon that year, contributed hugely to that trophy as he was amongst players that pushed for it.
Ten Hag should get the right player's, I feel like the midfielder's are doing great but the attacking players are not gelin well enough to score enough goals. Since Antonio Martial isn't Injured can he just be consistent for once ? I hope tonsee tue best of him within the next round.
Yeah he is not a striker at all. Although he had played in that position but winger is his much comfortable position. I also don't think United are thinking about getting him at all. They just need striker, wingers are good with Sancho and Antony but they need someone reliable who can create pressure inside the box and tuck the ball in when there is decent enough chance. Ten Hag can rely on Martial, he still can be useful with scoring goals and creating pressure but team like United needs someone consistent and I don't think Martial can be consistent at all. Maybe he can develop and become consistent in future but right now I don't think he is consistent performer at all.

I think Memphis Depay is a better left-winger compared to a striker, to be honest. His performance is also better when he is playing as a left-winger rather than a striker. If Manchester United want to bring a striker they will have to look for other players.

I think Manchester United are smart and they’re not foolish enough to commit the mistake of bringing in Memphis Depay. If they give him a chance right now who has been a flop for Manchester United previously, it is going to further prove the point that Cristiano Ronaldo was trying to make. The club has to think about the future. They will have to make sure that they take proper care of the young players.

Anyway, right now, I don’t think Manchester United has shown interest in any particular striker.

Note this is not a financial advise, I just posted here for funny and to see how people thinks about bitcoin within 7 to 8 years to come just Cathie did.
actually I don't know who is this Cathie as I am not familiar with her, but having this thought is exaggerated , 1 million in 8 years time but did not even give details if why this can be possible.

I have faith in bitcoin and there is no doubt about that but making it clear how much it can grow till 2030 is for me an over statement.
if 100k is possible in the next halving yet in the next may hard to see a 7 digit price.

She is quite a famous investor and also a billionaire born from financial investment. In September 2021 she also made a bitcoin prediction to hit $500k in the next 5 years and this year she made another prediction for bitcoin. 1550  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Will Be bottom Of BTC in 2022 Year ( Current Price= $16000 ) on: November 25, 2022, 04:29:30 AM
Hi guys today I saw btc has gone down almost 3 to 4% and and now it is moving at Avergae of 16000 dollars and that is alarming cause if it goes down below 1550 dollars than it might crash for almost 2000 dollars more and that's my guess and I think that it might crash further too.
And also 2022 is going to slow down and so what are you thinking about what will be the lowest price of Bitcoin in 2022 Fiscal Year.
Why are you calling bitcoin price drop alarming, while many are waiting for bitcoin to drop to that even 10k and i am also expecting bitcoin to drop even more? Simply, because I want to own more bitcoins at a lower price. We are investing in bitcoin so owning more bitcoins is something to be excited about, not worried about.

I am curious if why you are going to convert your btc to another coin? And may we know if what coin was that? But, I think there are no other better coins than bitocin because this was the first and currently the most trusted.

If only you will say that you will sell and you will use the money for something, I think that is more acceptable. I hope this message of mine will change your mind. You can still add more coins if you wanted to but you need to use your personal money or sell your shitcoins, etc, except btc.
If he converts bitcoins into another asset for his work it is for a good reason but if he converts bitcoins to altcoins for holding then i really worry for him with that decision. Hope he knows what he's doing, if he's holding bitcoins and doesn't feel safe I don't think there is a better coin for him to invest in.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 24, 2022, 07:19:39 PM
Leaving in the winter means giving up the Serie A title that Napoli is close to getting and ending their Champions League run since you can't play for two different clubs in the same Champions League season. I think zero players are interested in this option even if they are offered a triple salary. They'll just wait for the summer. Sometimes illogical transitions happen (like Casemiro to United) but I don't think that will happen to Napoli players who are title hungry.
After this world cup we are having winter transfer window which is surely going to be vital for many teams and players as few teams are trying to secure quality players for next season which is their strategy but here many players definitely will not love to leave their clubs those are involved in Champions League because leaving club mean early end of season for them into Champions League which is never been ideal situation.

There are few speculations for few players those are interested to leave their clubs and want to join better clubs with better salary, but hopefully things will be happened in summer transfer window specially for Napoli which is currently at the top of league table and currently doing amazing job in both competitions they will be definitely not allowed any movement which will harm their strategy for the better end of this season.

I expect this is going to change the look of a few teams. And Napoli should be careful about that. Even though I do not think that they need any changes right now in the team, they should still think about the weaknesses that they probably have and bring in a few players just for safety.

This is so that, even if they suffer a serious injury, they are still able to perform well and won't have any problems regarding that. I do not think Napoli is planning to make big changes, to be honest. But I do think that probably Milan and Inter are looking to bring in a few players. I wonder if any Italian league team is interested in Cristiano Ronaldo!
1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Say. Bitcoins, not "cryptos" on: November 24, 2022, 02:34:02 PM

I appreciate your invitation to say something about Bitcoin and the sentence I want to say is not one, but many.
Bitcoin is king.
Bitcoin is the king and the only differentiator in the crypto market. All shitcoins are replaceable, and die over time but those don't exist with bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a solution that has made the "criminals" no longer able to commit financial crimes.
No, bitcoin can't stop those criminals.

Bitcoin is hated by corruptors.

Not really, one of the government's concerns about bitcoin is also for this reason, they fear bitcoin is used for corruption because it is quite difficult to track bitcoin than fiat money due to its decentralization.

Bitcoin is not like crypto that can cheat.

Yes, people are confused when calling crypto a scam and they inadvertently include bitcoin in their statement, that is a serious misunderstanding.

In short, bitcoin is a currency, an investment, a bank of your own. It cannot be a solution to combat social evils as you mentioned, social evils are caused by human behavior, stemming from greed and currently there is no effective solution to prevent it.

1555  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree that an employer should hire employees who are smarter than him? on: November 23, 2022, 10:13:03 AM
There are two categories of leaders. Some are afraid to hire smart employees because, firstly, there is an opinion that experienced employees have a habit of always criticizing the authorities and advising them on how to do better. Hence, some businessmen, in order to look smarter, prefer to hire inexperienced employees. Furthermore, their wages fall far below those of skilled workers.
On the contrary, the second category prefers to hire experienced workers, giving them all the rights to implement their ideas. There is a good expression that when we see opportunities for growth, the poor person thinks, "How can I achieve them?" A rich man thinks about: "With the help of whom will I do this?"

Hiring inexperienced staff will save you money as you say, but on the contrary, it will be very hard and take a lot of time to train everything for them. And when they're skilled enough, there's no guarantee you can keep them working for you. That's why today companies want to hire people with years of experience or more.
Hiring smart and experienced employees will save business owners a lot of things and will give business owners more time to deal with other business problems.

Whatever happen with Binance and USDT in future, I am sure governments will launch more laws and execute more strictly regulations on cryptocurrency and blockchain. For future, it is good, not bad.
After the recent collapse of FTX, the SEC met shortly after and said that creating a legal corridor to regulate cryptocurrencies should be accelerated because of the consecutive scams and crashes occurring in a short time. I don't know if the regulation will be good or bad for us, there are a lot of mixed opinions around it. But one thing I do know is that like it or not, regulation is inevitable and I believe it will come sooner than we think.

Yes, with Juventus being able to return to the top four it proves that Juventus are still doing well so far. Also, with key players returning to play in the main squad, of course, other teams in the title race must remain wary of a revived Juventus.
Indeed, at first I also doubted him because his performance was very chaotic, losing by a mediocre team who were even a promoted team.

But as time goes by, Juventus can still show their existence as a strong team in Serie A and still have a good chance in the title race.
Although indeed, this season will probably be a very different season because Juventus will play in the Europa League, but if the mentioned core players will return with fully recovered conditions. So of course Juventus will also have a very good chance in the Europa League, this is very interesting to look forward to.

With Juventus, this always happens. At least from the last few seasons. They are starting the season performing, not very well and towards the end, they start performing well. And when it comes to the end of the season, they generally finish at least in the top four. I think it is gonna be something similar like that this season as well.

But every time there is a break Juventus generally takes time to settle with things. So, I wonder if they are going to take time when the club competition resumes as well. But if they continue playing like they are playing right now, I think they have a very good chance to actually win the league title.

Obviously, Napoli is way ahead. There will have to lose some matches if some other team has to get on the top, but I think from the second position almost any team in the top six has that chance.

https://www.footballinsider247.com/man-city-grealish-pep-sources/

Jack Grealish might be worried about his future at Manchester City now according to the source. Because he thinks that he doesn't get enough time to play this season. Actually I don't think that he has played for a low amount of time so far. He has played in 16 matches and 8 of them have been in the English Premier League. Foden took his place other times but Grealish still had quite many chances in short. Besides Grealish still has a long-term contract like 5 years. There is nothing to be worried about for him now as long as he doesn't underperform.

I still doubt that he deserved a transfer fee like 117.5 million euros. But Manchester City just don't care about the amount when they feel like they have found the right player for themselves.

He was absolutely overrated, and there was obviously no reason for Manchester City to be so much for this player. I knew that they found potential in this player and he obviously played very well. But obviously not that well for which they would simply agree to pay him more than 100 million.

So far, I think he has played only 318 minutes for Manchester City this season in club competition. That is just not good enough for him. So, I understand why he is stating some concern like this. I think his future is actually uncertain. And it is understandable why this is happening. He has not performed well, at least not like a player who cost a hundred million.

Is it really over for crypto if Binance exchange or Tether go bankrupt like FTX? Can crypto survive without the centralise organizations and projects?

Bitcoin created first or Binance exchange created first? and if I remember correctly, binance has only been around since 2017 and before that we also had many other centralized exchanges. All of them have a lifespan and are always replaced by other exchanges from time to time. So there is no reason that when binance dies the cryptocurrency will also disappear, but if bitcoin dies there is a high probability that the market and exchanges will be gone.

Binance or tether or any other company or project is just a part of this market, so without them there would be another product to replace them.

By the way, this was the first bitcoin exchange, at that time with 1$ we could buy thousands of bitcoins Wink Wink.
