2501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 01, 2019, 01:20:27 PM
Edit: this graph has no sense in my opinion
Italy has 2,450 tons of gold (71458330 Troy oz) this equates to 100 billions @1,500 usd oz (various sources confirm this calculations).
This should be roughly 10,000,000 bitcoins @10,000 btc usd.
Am I missing something?

It is probably calculated from other side, not from the price but from holdings. They summed all gold that countries (probably they did not count holdings of individuals) hold and then gave them share of 17 ( or maybe 21) million Bitcoin.
2502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fuel for the next bull run on: August 31, 2019, 07:49:56 PM
The 2017 bull run was based on hype that was why shitcoins were able to give more profit because they were cheaper and people bought it based on the huge hype in the market then

But the next bull will be quite different from that and it will be based on real life usage and adoption so any project or altcoin that doesn't offer real usage or solve a problem will beat the dust.

In bull run a lot of stupid money gets in and they will also found useless projects. That is how it is and I doubt it will be any different in 2021. We need to survive sideways 2015 and then in 2016 party will slowly start.
2503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DCR] Decred speculation and price discussion on: August 31, 2019, 07:19:15 PM
who can begin to look beyond this fraudulent decred "airdrop"

How much was airdroped?  I wish I was more aware back then to claim some.
2504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 31, 2019, 04:25:24 PM

Now they don't know if they have Gold or Tungsten.

Italy is rich. They just keep complaining how much problems they have, but never even think of selling gold to fix those problems.
2505  Economy / Economics / Re: The New World Order with Crypto and Blockchain Technology on: August 31, 2019, 04:02:01 PM
What exactly do you mean by "New World Order?" A one-world government?

By mentioning "New World Order", I'm referring to a one-world government. It may seem impossible to achieve nowadays, but the mere fact that Blockchain technology unites everything, there might be a possibility that worldwide governments may reach a common agreement. We'll just have to wait and see what will happen with the development of this revolutionary technology within the future.

What does blockhain unites? Can you explain more?

Blockchain prevent form forging digital asset. That is what blockhain does. You are talking like we are in 2016 when blockhain was here to save us from AIDS and world hunger and everything bad on earth.
2506  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CMC's new ranking approach kicks in Sep 2 on: August 30, 2019, 10:37:50 PM
CMC's new ranking approach kicks in Sep 2

It is dumb t have all on same list. They should just divide  coins on few categorizes. It is really simple and logical.
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the safest way to buy crypto? on: August 30, 2019, 06:24:41 PM
Hey! I want to know how to purchase crypto safe. I don't want hackers to steal my money, and I don't want exchanges to sell my personal data. And is it safe using non custodial exchanges like changelly and shapeshift. Please help!

Safest is to buy from a friend of yours.  I dont think is possible to buy it safer then that. Second best is to avoid third party, so you use decentralized exchange like BisQ.
2508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [DCR] Decred speculation and price discussion on: August 30, 2019, 06:02:08 PM
Many coins developers realized years ago that eventually people will reject transparent ledger cryptocurrencies.  That is why they starts thinking of how to make their ledgers as opaque as they can with as little as possible penalties.  Some that are capable of doing things like Decred started showing results. The rest stayed at plans like Litecoin and many others.
2509  Economy / Economics / Re: Fake-branded bars slip dirty gold into world markets on: August 30, 2019, 04:39:36 PM

I am amazed with this story. Right now, there is a growing demand of gold as it is originally the safe haven in times of distress and chaos. The perennial demand for gold has been the very reason why unscrupulous personalities can be engaging in fake gold and even use gold to launder illegal money. So it is not anymore true to say that it is Bitcoin that is facilitating money laundering as any asset digital or not can be utilized for this activity.

Bitcoin was never used much for money laundering. Its transparent ledger makes it extremely hard to hide your wealth in it. The only advantage I see it have is easy to transfer on other side of world, but you simply cant hide it or spend/exchange that easy.
2510  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 30, 2019, 02:21:14 PM
About the price. We all must not forget we are still in 2015. Yes it looked we are not anymore, but that was just an illusion.

In all honesty from a TA perspective most of the charts dont look terrible imho...except perhaps the weekly. The wave packets of all the different time frames oscillate in and out of harmonics and at this time whilst most time frames show bullish or near bullish indicators the weekly has flipped to what I would call a bearish formation.  Its really not even that..its actually neutral but seems to be trending towards bearish.

I think the main difference today is that back in 2015 there was a real possibility that the great experiment could fail and many were fearful of not having a chair when the music stopped. I am fairly confident we are past that now and bitcoin is here to stay.

Also worth mentioning is that all we have known is the pump and dump mentality. We havent even reached peak adoption yet and the stability it might bring. 10 years later and many forget how early it still is in the game.

I am not saying that anything looks terrible. It just dont looks as bright as those 5 months of constant growth at start of this years looked like. When Bitcoin reached $13000 most here thought we are months or half year from breaking $20k. But reality that if we learn from past is that we are not.  Most people ( not on this forum, but people in general) today still believe Bitcoin experiment will fail, same as in the 2015.  For sure there are more believers today then back then and that is why price is $10000 today and not $500 and less. It is just because more people believe in Bitcoin.
2511  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economic and trade crisis on: August 29, 2019, 09:48:39 PM
What makes you think that global economy crisis will surely happen? We might have useless government everywhere, but that does not mean they are still not doing everything possible o avoid it. Look at  the aspect of recession, it has been over 3 years now that I have been hearing global recession happening and till now it still has not happened.

It does not mean that there is no possibility of it happening, but it might have been averted already while we are still here discussing anon thinking that it will happen. Well, in the case of economy crisis if it eventually happen, there is nothing much to be done, we will just try our own little best to protect our assets and maybe bitcoin will also have a way of helping those that has invested in it then.

Because there was one every 5-10 years in past. We had like 10 from WW1.  What is different that some predict it will be catastrophic this time. And Bitcoin might play huge role in this catastrophy.
2512  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun's Bold Statement on Facebook’s Libra on: August 29, 2019, 05:28:27 PM
Well!! Did you know? CEO of Tron Justin sun makes a bold statement on libra.
What's your take on this?

When dinner with Warren Buffet?  Was Carlos Matos finally invited to join Justin so they together represent crypto space?

Did you know? Crypto lunch has been canceled

Canceled why?  He forgot to pay what he bid for?    Do you have a link to it?  All I remember was that was postponed 2 montsh ago.  Justin Sun lied he had health issues but at same time was partying in San Francisco.
2513  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 29, 2019, 04:47:53 PM
Let me explain it like this:

When I was really panicking in 2014,

I was trading on btc-e and I had like 2 btc on the exchange and I was playing the trading game. (buy high, sell low)

For example:

When it was Around $800. I sold some, but guess what? It went up instead of going down! Wtf, What to do now? Of course I bought back as soon as it went down to $825 from 850. Then it went down even further to $600.

That's how I used to panic. Stupid old days.

Then for a year or 2, I never touched BTC. Then started stacking in late 2016 with the new rules. I am still following those rules. So far so good.

LOL, well if you would not changed the pattern you would most likely not be here anymore. I doubt there is anyone that did not at least tried to daytrade. Some learn faster then others, that that they would better do if they would just wist a casino.

About the price. We all must not forget we are still in 2015. Yes it looked we are not anymore, but that was just an illusion.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: August 29, 2019, 04:22:34 PM
I believe on Tuesday 3rd September we will finally get daily inflation crossover day with Bitcoin.  Monero yearly emission inflation will go under Bitcoins that is at  3.67%    Big day ahead.
2515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ZEC] Zcash Speculation on: August 28, 2019, 11:45:35 PM

I believe this are ZCash both USD and BTC bottoms. Price just keep crashing down from the launch 3 years ago. 1/3 of coins was mined so far. I dont think that is a grantee that price will stop decreasing. 500k sat is less that was price in second round of ICO. Does anyone know how much was price of 1 ZEC in first round?
2516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DASH] Dash (dash.org) | First Self-Funding Self-Governing Crypto Currency on: August 28, 2019, 11:11:13 PM
In May 2014  price of DASH was almost 0.03 BTC, now is less then 0.009 and keep decreasing.  That is more then 3 times less in only five years. If we continue like this in 2024 price will be 0.002 BTC.

What can management do to prevent such loses? Can anything be done at all or all of them just gave up on it long time ago?

Thank you for your answer in advance, and only serious answers please.
2517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Grin Observer - GRN/BTC - Price Movement and Discussion on: August 28, 2019, 10:42:12 PM
Yes. Bitcoin will go up in next 2 years. So sub $1 will be hard to get or it will not stay for long there. But 0.00055 BTC is far far far far from bottom. Bottom of GRIN price will be way closer to 0.0001 then 0.0005.

How far under 10k sat will we go?    As it looks Bitcoin will do nothing this year. Next year emission pressure will be to high to be to optimistic.  OK I am positive we will not go under 1k satoshi. That would be to much I believe.
2518  Economy / Economics / Re: Global economic and trade crisis on: August 28, 2019, 10:18:02 PM
As countries' economies face major challenges, the biggest economic crisis in history will come out in recent years. What methods will you use to avoid the biggest economic crisis in history?

You cant avoid it. If it will happen it will happen. You cant do anything about it not to happen. What you can so it to use it in your advantage. You can do that to store your wealth into some liquid asset that will not lose value now. In past that was Gold. Then when prices fall most you use that Gold to buy whatever is there to buy.  Of course you can fail at doing so. Maybe crisis will never come, maybe will only come in many years from now and you will buy Gold to early. Maybe you will start spending gold to early since crisis will be much deeper as you expected. Maybe you will start spending your Gold to late since crisis will be much weaker as you expected. This reminds me of day trading in crypto.

Gold will likely not do OK during a global crisis. Most people will be struggling to
— Feed
— Drink clean water
— Treat diseases
—  Bath
—  Stay clean during menses
—  Stay secured
—  Stay informed

Few will be concerned with personal luxuries and beauty. I think gold will probably be worthless.

Food, Water, medicine, clothes, toiletries would likely cost more

Most people will but 1% of people holds most of wealth. They will not struggle anything but will want to safely and as anonymously as possible preserve as much of their wealth.
2519  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huge drop happening within 48 hours! on: August 28, 2019, 09:38:26 PM

We are dropping like a rock. $9800

Too early to dismiss my prediction.

Your prediction was 48 days. You deleted the post where you said it was a typo and you meant 48 days.

That was a joke. I thought 48 hours wasn’t going to happen, so I made a joke “I meant 48 days.” But it was intended as a joke responding to someone else’s comment. I deleted it because the drop happened as predicted so it no longer made sense.

The original post was 48 hours. NOT 48 days. Read the first few responses it confirms this.

You are a joke. I saw it to.  But it dont really matter, huge drop can also happen in 48 weeks.
2520  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: August 28, 2019, 02:48:09 PM
Thing is that when recession happens and GDP start falling down and government start spend more to revive economy then debt makes a huge leg up. So if you have now 100% you will have then 130% or 150% almost instantly. So all countries should decrease it drastically in last 5 years, but 3/4 of them totally failed.
