2501  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto will rival or replace crypto in 10 years? on: October 07, 2021, 09:23:08 PM
I think cryptocurrencies will replace or rival fiat money in trading. Cryptocurrency as a trading tool is still in its infancy, but it seems that the next 10 years will bring new innovations that will make it possible, as will the use of fiat currencies.
It's not rival but replace, no way in hell that fiat rivals cryptocurrencies when it comes.to trading because look at how exponential the growth and possible profit you can get from cryptocurrency compared to fiat. Not to mention that fiat is also affected heavily by inflation.
I think both crypto and fiat currencies have something in common, they are both acceptable because of trust to function as a medium of exchange. Fiat currency is believed to have value and is trusted as a medium of exchange because it is issued by the government. Meanwhile, cryptocurrencies, although not issued by the government, are increasingly believed to have value, and as a medium of exchange. Even some countries have long-term plans to use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment as recently implemented by the country of El Salvador.
They have in common which is actually functioning as a currency which could be used on daily transactions but the difference are notable.

-Centralized vs Decentralized
-Reversible vs Irreversible
-Traced vs Anonymous
-Stable vs Volatility

You would be seeing these key factors then you could really say that it is impossible that crypto could rival fiat and also those other stable coins are automatically considered
as digital fiat due to stabilized price which i dont see it to be considered as a cryptocurrency.
2502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: *Day Traders* are now calling gambling Addiction helplines!! on: October 07, 2021, 08:35:42 PM
The article says because of the broker apps that has game-like features, I wonder which one they are referring to but it was back in the days already when we see exchange have their own dice games too like yobit.

If the trader experience the same thrill as gambling like how they feel on horse race betting I guess the association of it made the trader think he is gambling.

To me, trading and gambling is very different because of the chart I'm analysing.
Yeah, remembered out about yobit which does have basically have some dice game or race game which could turn out those traders or users would really be having the easy access of those features which would really

result into more spending. If we do talk about basically on trading features that isnt gambling-alike then i dont see any connections because graphics and interface should really be that interesting and appealing.

Addiction is something applicable in all aspects or things that we do have as long you do engage it excessively and able to spent out lots of money or waste up then that would really be considered addictioon
which should really be stopped.

The question is.... Why has this been swept under the carpet for months?
It  wasn't. They notified folks whose accounts were compromised and dealt with it. The only new thing is that Reuters decided to (again) make it 'news'. Must be a slow week for them?

or probably just a futile attempt at FUD?
Fud or just tending to make out some issues just to make out some attention in the market but i dont really believe that they had been making things just because they arent making that much? I dont think so.

Hacks could happen whether inside job or totally external attacks because we know that in reality that nothing is unhackable on this world so expect the unexpected.

Thing here is that these platforms/services would able to handle these things up.
2504  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How cryptocurrency trading have helped the youth. on: October 06, 2021, 10:48:46 PM
Trading has helped many youths including me, I trade Scalping and Day trading most of the time because I am self-employed so I have a lot of time to watch the markets for different coins/tokens on my computer. Trading has changed my life, though I still have a small capital I see it growing day by day.
Im not already a student but had already graduated 2 years ago and i wont be ashamed that crypto is part of my studies on where i do able to finish it with having that monetary support out of those investments and

activities or jobs that i had done on this market which did really result on providing myself in terms of financial despite of being supported by my parents.I could buy stuffs that i do like and want without the need on
asking out with my parents which i could say that it did really give out  that independent kind of feeling which im really thankful for that kind of opportunity.
2505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fake bets on: October 06, 2021, 09:41:15 PM

I guess not only do they make money from referrals but they also make money from the direct advertisements of the site. .

they can earn money thru referalls if they are good at acting it or good at promoting it because more viewers will sign up under them but if they are poor on executing the task , they cant make much money thru referalls .

Quote
Streamers aim for money, so we should not believe that they are really making a lot of money, or betting a lot, otherwise, they will relax and enjoy their winning and be consistently making money without telling people what they are doing
some yes but some do streaming because they have passion in it and not only to make money . for the streamer that wants to earn more , he might actually gamble for real or by using his own cash .

you are right
some streamers do it for fun, but when/if they start to grab more attention and have more people watching they can monetize their work in a varied number of ways like direct sponsors, referrals, so forth and so on.
Whenever a streamer doesnt really have any contracts or sponsorship then its just typical or normal for them to look on something new or currently on trend which they would make use and trying to hook up

viewers interest and of course they would really be hoping that they could really able to make some attention and make money out of it or would have at least make out some move that might poke up

companies interest and might give him some sponsorship later on.This is how this industry works and it isnt that surprising.
2506  Economy / Economics / Re: Is budgeting still effective in tackling the need to constantly withdraw money? on: October 06, 2021, 08:48:13 PM
Withdrawal can become a habit. Once you develop the habit of withdrawing either fiat or converting your crypto holding to local currency for use, It almost becomes so difficult to break.

Needs and wants/problems to solve with money never stop arising, how do you handle your withdrawal? Be sincere, considering that local currency is becoming less of value as the cost of things are constantly rising now, so much that the cost price today is not the cost price tomorrow. Is a budget still effective in your opinion?
Withdrawing could really have significant reasons neither you do need for your needs or would simply just for you to buy your wants. We do have different priorities in life and actually it doesnt matter on where
you do spent of those money you do have because its yours after all.You do have the full control of it whether you do make use of it on other purposes then its our right and no people could stop
because we do earn those money then its just normal that we do make use of it according we do like but of course we do know the possible siituations or problems might be faced on.
2507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: October 06, 2021, 07:55:00 PM
Hello!
I want to know how you choose projects for investment?
At the moment I'm focusing on the Near Protocol.
I bought it back in early April and don't miss the chance to mention it.
What did I focus on when choosing it for investment?

1. Team (most of the famous developers worked in google and facebook)
2. Strong community (more than 100k on Twitter and a very strong forum)
3. Own blockchain (develop their own structure with their own EVM and cross-chain)
4. Solving existing problems in cryptocurrency (high fees, transaction processing speed, scalability)

This is a very brief description. At the moment I am faced with the choice to add a few more such projects to myself. Share your knowledge.

5. Real use case
6. Realistic road map
7. Active developments and giving out updates
8. Better prefer on using up their own blockchain
9. Something a new better idea compared on  the rest.

We do have our own choices or criterias on how to select a certain project for us to invest. So this will really be just random.
2508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice for fun or profits on: October 05, 2021, 11:10:57 PM
I do not see the "fun" thing in dice game and I consider it as the most boring game, this is the reason why I do not play it much. I play dice game when there is a contest only such as hunt number. In this case, I can see the fun thing while competing with others to get the number. I believe most real dice gamblers play it for profit. Proven by the existing dice strategies, or discussion about dice strategy in order to get bigger chance of winning.
Boring for you but its an interesting game for others because if it was really that boring then we wont really see lots of dice game websites as of this moment but we are seeing totally different which does signifies

that there's really a demand for this game which means they are really interested. On my own personal view then this game is interesting at first and becomes boring. The thing i do see on why people get interested

on this game is that results are fast and instant which means you wont really be needing to wait up for you to know the results and same goes on losing too.
2509  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Dewvpn is good ? on: October 05, 2021, 09:47:11 PM
Their claim is too good to be true, it's rare to see free VPN (even including one which collect & sell your data) offer unlimited traffic & 1 Gbit. Besides, they claim their VPN application available on 5 different OS, but the download button only available for Windows OS.

If you can't afford paid VPN, you better use VPN which mentioned by @FinneysTrueVision.
Claiming something which you cant really see on their site or into their service itself is a bit deceptive and its true that it is really too good to be true which would really be putting up some hesitance

or doubts with just using your own awareness.I havent paid any VPN service and do stick out on whats mention by Finney which i had experience on using that free named ProtonVPN.

It works as intended but if you do have money there are others which are more reputable and known and not this one.
2510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if stop believing about bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2021, 08:47:32 PM
Bitcoin has no physical presence. What if we just stop believing in bitcoin. I mean every country has the equivalent of gold to their fiat. Bitcoin has no gold or physical value. Can this ever happen ?
Too impossible for it to happen specially now that recognition and adoption had already been that high which means that it is likely to happen on not to believe with Bitcoin. It might not have that physical form but

we are not aiming for something like that but rather seeing its actual use case. Decentralized? Anonymous? Irreversible? These are things which you cant really see on typical fiat we do have.

The community would be the ones who would really decide whether they do believe or not and as long it does have value then you can say that it is really having that big support.
2511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Losses in trading are nothing but Business expenses on: October 05, 2021, 07:32:07 PM
this is certainly not the most correct approach, but the most vital. In fact, this is so, because this is a waste of experience.
Doesnt matter on what approach on what others people been thinking about. What matter most here is that you do able to do things and able to handle yourself in times of losses.

Neither a business expense or would think up about on being some kind of losses on what you do actually commit like in gambling or something like that.

As long you do make profits then that what matter the most. You should do all sorts of things to make yourself sustainable.
2512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To what extent can sport be strengthened with cryptocurrencies on: October 05, 2021, 06:08:46 PM
Imagine the impact of sponsorships via cryptocurrency like people would be aware of its existence, thus increasing its popularity on the long run. The application of cryptocurrencies into sports may be difficult to materialize but sponsorships and pledges can do the trick.
I wouldn't really think so....? I mean in the first place, sponsorships are done by companies, as a sort of advertisement for their business, they don't really specify what form or medium their sponsorship is, that would just be... well, odd. It could even be a damn waste of time which instead could be used to lengthen the duration or increase the size of their names popping out from whatever sort of sponsorship they are doing. Maybe if a sponsor was centered around a coin instead of their company, then maybe, just maybe, it could work.
So this is the way that it could be strengthened? Lets say that currency neither fiat or digital will only just served as a tool for being used in part of such activity but doesnt mean that it could really be boosted up when

it comes to sports industry because it would always matter on the demand itself not just on basing up on crypto tie up because it has nothing to do with this industry. It does have different purpose and how it

works and this isnt the main basis for neither a failure or success of a certain business.
2513  Economy / Speculation / Re: The calm before the storm? on: October 04, 2021, 11:40:02 PM
We’re flirting with 50k right now, we seem to have absorbed & recovered from all the FUD they can throw at us. Whales have been silently accumulating for months now, there is going to be a supply shock soon & we are going to moon.
Lucky to those people who had get in when it dipped down to 42k and able to get in before the market starts to make some rally. We cant really be sure if this would continue and past 50k again and would go

further until on 60k level point. The calm before the storm? This is something we could only presume but not an assurance that we could see that the market had reached all time highs.

Just be wise and make out decisions according into your risk management and dont hurry up yourself on making out decisions.
2514  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Have you given up on airdrop? on: October 04, 2021, 10:40:31 PM
I'm not giving up completely, I still participate in some airdrops but not many. Did you participate in 20 airdrops without receiving any of them?. Did you do the research before joining?. Airdrop is no longer a place where we can make money but not all of them are scams. You better skip if you don't have time to choose and focus on the bounty campaign, I think it will be better.
If I may ask, what are the free airdrop that you have participated in this year and you were able to make a profit? I'm just curious because I did not see any airdrop this year that is free for those who participate and that gives a decent amount when the free coin/token is received.
For sure you havent seen one because you had never looked back on this place but for sure  there are people who do make some money out of those airdrops without on your awareness.

Requirements and things needed might have completely changed but there are bounty hunters that do complied on whats been asked just for the sake of those free tokens.

Sounds dumb? Yes it is but its their choice to do so since we arent blind on what are the chances that they could possibly get if they do spot on the right project.
2515  Economy / Economics / Re: Are banks needed for crypto? on: October 04, 2021, 09:36:31 PM
Just started to learn about DeFi, and a question arose.

Fiats have a loan mechanism. Manufacturers use it to improve their production.

Is there something similar in crypto? How does it work then? And are such services in demand? Do manufacturers take loans in crypto?

Isn't that killing DeFi idea? Is there a future for loan mechanism in crypto?

Thanks everyone in advance for the answers.
If you are pertaining about loans then there are services out there who do offer such thing but you know that volatility is something that cant really be stopped which means neither you do pay more or less
on the said interest for the loan that you had attained.

Although this isnt talking about institutions or something but rather people who do ran off their own personal money.Banks are irrelevant on this market and thats why crypto
did exist on the first place.

We dont need banks which are heavily centralized it does work for other purpose which we had been using through ages.
2516  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅ on: October 04, 2021, 08:29:09 PM
I prefer mixercasino dot com because it includes a free privacy mixer but the choice is yours. Why would you submit KYC if there are hundreds of casinos that don't require it? I'm curious...

Sure, dude. That was very subtle. Aren't you also the owner (manager) of the casino in question?
As I've seen your latest posts, I suggest you put up sig if you wish to promote your casino and stop spamming other people's threads. The way you've been doing it so far is against forum rules.

Suggesting and promoting ones site isnt really against the forum rules because this is a forum and you could freely advertise all the things all you do want and say things that you do like even it turns out that
you are recommending your own site towards other people.

It is just that people would make out their own decisions on how they should take it neither it would be appealing or somewhat irritating. So let the community decide in regarding with this.

Overall in topic reply then i dont really see any review gambling sites recommendation to be that interesting. They are all just the same.
2517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM in a gas station on: October 03, 2021, 07:40:08 PM
Physical Bitcoin ATM will certainly help a lot. When money needed for expenses, anyone can convert the Bitcoin into the local currency in few minutes. Really expect every country to accept Bitcoin and allow its usage so that we will be free enough to use such ATMs kept at gas station or where a crowd is seen. Yes Gas station is one of the main spot where people are often seen. Keeping Bitcoin here, will certainly support the crypto holders live around the station. Wish to have experience in navigating through Bitcoin ATM.
Not  only  with withdrawing but also rather on buying out bitcoins in ease but of course fees are bit higher but not really that much of an issue. We've seen that adoption is on the move and take a look on El salvador

on how many ATM's that they do have and as i remembered on news they do have 200 atms which is really a good news and there are countries which does have some numbers too.

As adoption is moving then its no surprising that we would see these machines even more often in the upcoming years to come even though there would be places that would really be against it.
2518  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Single pair trading or double pair? on: October 01, 2021, 08:54:33 PM
That will be up to you because that will depend on your skills.
If the market moves are not fast, two pairs will be good as you can monitor those pairs together.
But if the market moves fast and one coin shows good progress for up and down of the price, I think one pair is enough because if you try with the second pair, you can feel difficult to monitor the movements.
Unless you have high skills, you do not have to use two pairs at the same time because that will need more focus to analyze the movement.
Skills and experience would really vary because this would really be your foundation when it comes to trading and of course with having sufficient capital because double pairing is something needing with capital also

and handling out two at once is not really just the same when you are handling one plus this current condition or characteristics of the market where everything is unpredictable then its really important
that you should really know on what you are doing.

Its up on op's choice because its his money and as long he do able to handle those things up then its his choice.
2519  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: October 01, 2021, 07:32:52 PM
Most exchanges charge flat fees. Besides, on exchanges there is always the possibility to exchange bitcoin for another coin which has a cheaper withdrawal fee such as ltc or usdt.
Unfortunately, you can't do that on Roobet since they don't have an internal exchange and it's unlikely that they will add one. They are completely against this idea

Maus0728's suggestion regarding implementing the lightning network is a great idea and will solve the fee estimation issue once for all.
Well said. No internal exchanger is a deal-breaker for so many gamblers due to the convenience factor involved despite a small reduction in the actual amount due to the exchange fee.

Some popular crypto gambling sites provide internal exchanges making them more appealing overall. I don't understand why Roobet is strongly against adding an internal exchange service.

LN idea by @Maus0728 is a good idea, but it's difficult to execute due to several reasons like adoption rates etc.
Just like on what we are seeing on Stake but its not directly because you would really be using up Dinabot with that but i agree that it would really be more convenient or appealing if they would really be adding this
kind of feature.

It might not be that useful for some but for sure it would be relevant for most gamblers who do tend to make out some direct exchange or swaps in between cryptocurrency which had been available.

Well, its their choice since its their business but it isnt bad to hear out some others suggestions though.
2520  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance NonVerified Account Questions. on: October 01, 2021, 06:58:45 PM
Binance no longer offers their services to non-verified account holders. However, you can still transfer your assets to another exchange or wallet. Ensure that you move your assets as quickly as possible to avoid any issues. For those of you experiencing KYC issues, I recommend you use dex exchanges. As long as KYC isn't a problem, verify your account fully and start using all Binance services.
You would really still  end up on using centralized exchange and just like what other users or members post above then you  would really need to have some conversion with fiat which simply means that you would
really touched up centralized exchange no matter what.

Have no choice? There are still platforms who do still have unverified account considerable limitations for a day which simply means that you could really still have that one
and never too late to transfer assets if you could afford to.

Regulation is indeed going tighter which isnt really that surprising.
