25021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Old paper wallet... is my Bitcoin Cash safe ?? on: September 01, 2017, 09:28:17 PM
If I'm not worried about bitcoin cash failing then I can't see any reason to transfer it now, is there ?
If you split them now, you make it easier to sell your Bitcoin Cash when you want to, without having to move your Bitcoins first (for security). If you're not planning on using either Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash for years, there's no need to change anything.
25022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 01, 2017, 11:11:55 AM
I understand.

So, you can try to resolve this a couple of ways as I suggested.

Send everything you can to a new wallet
or
Send me your backup, I fix it, send it back.  (Then do the first suggestion so that I no longer have access to your bytes).

Thanks to Michail. He recovered my corrupted byteball wallet and also recovered 14 GBB out of 17 GBB for me.He is a trusted asset to the community here. Cheesy
Michail/ChainSmoker: can you explain how you recovered it?
25023  Economy / Services / Re: I'm sharing 0.00025* BTC per Bitcoin you own by signing a message [about end on: September 01, 2017, 11:04:06 AM
Three people took the opportunity to speculate: I'll sell their share on September 1. I'm curious to see how this turns out for the price, especially since the Byteball airdrop distribution method is changed from next month.
Pay day! Unfortunately, GBYTE dropped even further than right after the airdrop this month Sad
I now sold at 88.00943 mBTC per GBYTE. I think it's up in dollars, but down in Bitcoins.
One person requested his payment 8 days ago (as a tip on Rollin.io), that leaves 2 to pay now: Paid!.

September 6th is the next airdrop, unfortunately it only airdrops 1/10th of what it used to do to Bitcoin holders, so it's barely worth it anymore. I will end the "25 days delay" option. From the looks of it I'll have to pay about 2.5 mBTC only in total, so I'll do that at once after the airdrop.
This airdrop effectively ended, but I don't want to keep the few mBTCs it still airdrops from people who got their addresses linked to myself, so I keep sharing that amount.

It was fun while it lasted, thank you all for joining! Meanwhile, Byteball continues adding features and Bots. It now supports sports betting, flight delay insurance, blackbytes trading, and more. Many features that other coins just promise are already included and working. I can recommend to try it, if you talk to me I'll send you a few bytes and black bytes to play with.

Anyone not got their waves like me? wanting to invest into JDS - comms aren't great though
Yes, despite about 6 reminders and promises in return, I never received it. I find it peculiar that mainly Newbies say they received the airdrop.

25026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: September 01, 2017, 06:21:08 AM
Anyone here facing this problem of 'Syncing... 11 private payments left' and sometimes 'Syncing... 13 private payments left','Syncing... 16 private payments left'.
This happens to many wallets, I've reported it to Tony, but it's still unclear what causes it.
My wallets work fine while giving this message though.
25027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ on: September 01, 2017, 05:46:15 AM
Quote
Q. After restoring my backup (see previous Q.), I try to send blackbytes. Does this work?
A. No. Failure: "Could not send payment: precommit callback failed".
According to this question this only suppose to happen if we didn't requested blackbytes again from sender right? In my case i recovered wallet from old backup yes and then Tonych resent my 10GBB and i received it again so i should be able to send them but i still get this error which is annoying.I even created new backup after Tonych resent me 10GBB blackbytes and restored the wallet again using new backup and still i am facing the same error.
I think you somehow ended up with a different number of blackbytes in your wallet. The blackbytes error messages aren't very helpful at the moment.

@LoyceV can you make a test with both available byteball bots (freebe and beeb)?
It's on my todo list for when I have some time to spare Smiley
25028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 31, 2017, 05:49:03 AM
I am trying to send Blackbytes GBB and getting error everytime.I am sending to Blackbyte Exchange(Semi-trustless) bot with a bind condition rule.

This is the error.I have hided some data,i don't know if it can be shown safely.Any help from the users will be appreciated Smiley
The wallet showing 'Syncing... 11 private payment left' and is stuck there. My internet connection is not a problem.
I think (guess) this is caused by the backup you restored. It may contain blackbytes you no longer own.

Any way to speed up syncing? Process takes forever..
Faster computer with SSD or even ram drive will help. Or just use light wallet.
25029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 30, 2017, 04:51:02 PM
Yes, this is truly incredible. I mean, people are throwing tens or hundred of millions of $ at companies which promise to do what Byteball has already achieved and which close to nobody uses yet because they simply don't know it.

The market has no idea Byteball has already a working prediction system.
I often read comments like the ones above (and it is true of course). That makes me wonder though: have you tried the features by yourself? Try the wallet, test the features, send some Blackbytes, make a conditional payment, add a "bank vault" wallet, use the betting bot, pick a flight and see if you can profit from a delay, and invite people to chat with you on Byteball.
We are "the market"!
25030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Byteball: Blackbytes FAQ on: August 30, 2017, 03:13:11 PM
how to use the bot? i launch the client and copy past that link on my browser? but all i get is upgrade required, and nothing happened, i have the last version
This is a pairing code: in the Byteball Wallet, pair your wallet with the bot.
25031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to generate unique address? on: August 30, 2017, 10:00:07 AM
I want own adress: 1MrCrank...
I can make this for you, see my thread Pretty Addy Giveaway - part 2. It will cost you a whopping 0.0015 BTC and will probably take me a couple of days to find.

Thanks again Smiley

What happens if the maximum number of 1000 users is reached? It seems like a bad thing for the coin to deny new users.

@RomanJDS: Yesterday you sent me a PM saying you sent me WAVES.

They never arrived though, when I check Balances I see all zeros. Can you check again to see what went wrong?

I will check it as soon as i can
May I ask for a follow-up?
@RomanJDS
May I ask for a follow-up again? I did get your email about almost reaching the target, but still no airdrop. I am slightly disappointed since you first told me I got it, and second told me you'd look into it.

25035  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: August 29, 2017, 07:54:28 AM
just curious, am i receiving someone else dirty coins after the mixing?

You are not, the addresses you receive from are funded once and once only I believe and when you ask for the withdrawal they are sent to you, the addresses are pre-funded so I doubt you are getting anyone else bitcoins.
He's asking if the coins he receives could have been used before by someone who has more to hide than himself. The answer is of course yes. Bitcoins are not newly created by ChipMixer, and your Bitcoins are not destroyed by ChipMixer after receiving them. But that's no different than when you withdraw cash from an ATM, or even receive money on your bank: money transfers hands a lot, and whoever owned it before you has nothing to do with you anymore.

Example: Every British bank note is contaminated by cocaine within weeks of entering circulation

25039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for people that use Ethereum | 0.05ETH for 5 minutes of work on: August 27, 2017, 09:14:53 PM
If you use Ethereum(have ethereum wallet)and want to earn a nice amount of ETH for 5 minutes of your time.

Each tester will get 0.05ETH for his work.
Not everyone can test and I am looking for only 5-10 people the higher your rank the better(and also trust score, cant be negative).

For testing and prividing review of WeiMixer.com

If you are interested then please post in this topic and if I you will be selected then you will receive PM from me,remember post only if you have experience with ethereum wallets.
I'd like to apply for this Smiley
Three months ago, I alpha tested ChipMixer and gave my review. His response was: "Thank you for very valuable feedback. Your review was the best so far.". Some of my suggestions got implemented in the current site. Needless to say, this review took much more than 5 minutes (and paid a lot more too).
But, that was with Bitcoin, which I am quite familiar with. I do have an account at myetherwallet.com , but I've never used Ethereum. I don't have any either. Since your mixer has a 0.1 ETH minimum, 0.05 ETH won't be enough.

If you're interested in having me review your mixer, please PM me. I'll try my best to review it, but it will depend on your site if I can give you any valuable feedback. Then again, if all works flawlessly without comments, that's a good result too. I think ChipMixer has more options and features, so your review should be less work.
25040  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: $100 USD BOUNTY: I had BTC on bitkee how to claim bitcoin cash? on: August 27, 2017, 08:53:18 PM
I just read through 5 pages, all the time expecting you'd have solved it by now. Guess not!

Let me summarize:
155HLTxjDXfgcyBeDUviGj5QGSAVnJdZHQWatch Only
This is the address of your bitkee (a Metal Bitcoin Wallet): 155HLTxjDXfgcyBeDUviGj5QGSAVnJdZHQ and you moved your 11 BTC to this address on your Trezor: 1PShvoNo6o2DAHHAuveBx7GDttUb2d7QXu.

Although you missed out on very nice airdrops in the past months, you can indeed still claim your Bitcoin Cash as your Bitcoins were on your bitkee during the August 1 fork.

https://www.bitcoincash.org/ sends me to blockdozer as an explorer, and indeed, your address 155HLTxjDXfgcyBeDUviGj5QGSAVnJdZHQ still contains 11 Bitcoin Cash (worth about $6700 or 1.52 BTC).
So far everything is okay Smiley

What I'm not sure about, is what you want to do with your Bitcoin Cash. Let's assume you want to sell them for Bitcoin, do you already have an exchange in mind, or do you want to use Shapeshift.io to exchange your Bitcoin Cash for Bitcoin and send it directly to your Trezor: 1PShvoNo6o2DAHHAuveBx7GDttUb2d7QXu (or a new address on your Trezor)?

I have no experience with Coinomi, but it seems you couldn't get that to work either. I am very familiar with handling private keys, and this is what I did with my Bitcoin Cash: I installed Electron Cash in a Linux Virtual Machine, imported my private key, and sent my Bitcoin Cash to my exchange Bittrex.com. From there I converted it to Bitcoin.
To be complete, I want to say that Electron Cash is debated and not trusted (see Aug 1 summar), although I haven't read about any confirmed problems. If you go for Electron Cash, make sure to download it via bitcoincash.org .

Ok...downloading. says it need couple hundred gigs...this will take awhile...
What are you downloading now? The Bitcoin Cash full-client ABC wallet including a full blockchain?

I can't believe something this simple filled 5 pages and 3 days Cheesy
