The FAQ on their website should answer your question: Is the private key unique and secret?
Yes. Opendime is delivered without any private key. You must give it entropy (random numbers) the first time you use it. Once it's gotten enough numbers, it will hash them all together and use that to pick a random number to use as the private key. At that point, the payment address is generated and set in stone.
This whole process is very easy: just copy some files into the USB drive. When it's got enough bits (256k bytes) it will eject itself and come back with its final payment address. |

Alright! I have picked up the package and the coins look amazing once again (well done Chris and company). This means that I'll need shipping addresses, which is why I've sent each one of you a PM. Please remember to tell me if I still have an item of yours that should be included in this shipment.
I highly prefer to send out all the packages right now, even if you are part of another group buy of mine. Mostly because of all the extra stuff I need to keep in mind and the extra hassle it creates.
EDIT: I forgot to purchase the envelopes, so I can't ship them tomorrow morning. Sorry. I'll get some tomorrow and ship them out the day after.

The colours look a bit weird, but I guess that's because the camera and how shiny it is, right?
All the colors on the coin look good IRL. The colors are not fluctuating like they seem in the pics. Hard to take a good photo.. The gilt edge of the coin is not perfect but otherwise the coin looks perfect to me. Yeah, I thought so. Shiny coins are damn hard to photograph. |

Well, I got the new gold plated Denarium coins this weekend and they look amazing. I mean, they look so much better than all previous coins. My 1/10th coin does have a small dot that shouldn't be there, but all in all, it's so much better than the nromal Brass and Silver ones. Well done Denarium.
EDIT: I haven't taken any pictures yet. Will try to do so when I get home from work and I'll attach them to this post. |

Oh, Gravitate, could I please have a list of addresses so that I can check if my coins have been funded? The firstbits aren't searchable on the block explorers, which makes it a bit hard to check.  Still waiting for a reply. |
