No, I know those bitcoins was sent to their address, so it's for them. What I don't know is why the owner of that address sent it. Was it to pay/bribe Lauda/Mitchel or troll us? The guy made a 1000BTC giveaway thread without giving a single penny to anyone else (afaik. I dropped the thread after the 500th reply or so). We were just a few of the people who responded to the giveaway that happened on #bitcoin-otc before the guy came to Bitcointalk ( http://bitcoinstats.com/irc/bitcoin-otc/logs/2016/08/03#l1470229157.0). There are other forum members that got some BTC as well. Does that make us all TF shills? I highly doubt it.  To be fair, my " payment" comes from an input that isn't even linked to TF, but to a Huobi address as it comes from the first 25BTC that was transferred in and not from the ~1000 BTC from 2013. |

I already posted this in the previous thread, but it seems that some have missed it, so let me repost it: 13tikBdmMVkyuykDVNmv3tTr8YkVN3Xrut is only mentioned in malevolent's post and they stated that it's a possible address of TF. They never explained why and how they came to that conclusion. Not saying I don't trust malevolent's research, but the address has been mentioned just once throughout the whole forum, which makes it very weak proof. Also, if you look at the inputs of the address it looks more like a mining address seeing as a lot of inputs come from slushpool, which makes it look like it's a legit address without tainted coins.
Like I said, the coins are safely stored for now. Let's see how this plays out
I'm not saying these coins aren't from TF, it just seems unlikely IMO with the proof I have seen (which is almost none). I am however sure that these coins do not belong to the BitFinex hack as none of the inputs are linked to BitFinex. A few people, that I trust, came to this conclusion with some Blockchain analysis. |

I got some coins when this guy first posted on #bitcoin-otc. I did not know they were possibly stolen at that time. Feel free to provide 100% convincing proof that the coins have been stolen. For now they are in cold storage. Anyway, Bitcoin giveaways are allowed and as long as we don't have solid proof that the coins came from a hack (and no, they aren't from the BitFinex hack, that I know for sure) no rules are being broken. I won't be posting again as I don't have to convince anyone about anything and I don't feel it will add anything. |

I do have the coin and have to admit i like this design.  if someone still wants one, shoot a pm -EU- [IMAGE] You know you have a fake one right? I'm sure you know it, just making sure.
