Coinographic scammed their customers by keeping private keys and redeeming almost all of their sold coins (see this post and thread for more information), so "to go under" is putting it lightly if you ask me, haha. I know that this is a bit off-topic and I'll remove this part if requested. However, I just wanted to make sure people know what Coinographic did. Anyway, this coin sure is amazing just like their other coins (no matter what the company did). I'm sure someone would want it. |

As I was the one removing that post and locking the thread, I guess I should state why (even though it was fully covered by Lauda, SaltySpitoon and achow101).
CHRISBIN702, I removed your post as, even though it might have been funny, it didn't relate to the OP, which explicitly asked if it's a good idea to run a Bitcoin Node as a newbie. I know that this is harsh, but posts should relate to the topic the OP has set.
Furthermore, the reason I locked the thread is because a good answer has been provided and I wanted to keep out bad or not fully correct posts as this usually happens with these kind of threads. However, as Lbromy has explicitly requested the thread to be re-opened, I have done so.

Donators can't change their display name. Only VIPs can. Both Donators and VIP's can change their display name, however, VIP's also have the ability to create a custom title. Nowhere on the donate page does it say that only VIP's can change their display names and I was unable to find a post by theymos that says otherwise. If you donate 10 BTC, you can get a special "Donator" title and a green "who's online" color. If you donate 50 BTC, you get VIP status and the ability to create a custom title for yourself. Both Donators and VIPs also get access to an exclusive forum section. |

My AFKData unit keeps resetting itself randomly. No matter if I power it down before shutting down my computer, if I connect it through a hub, etc. It's quite annoying to have to setup the unit every 20 hours or so. Any idea what it could be?  |

You can try sending thymos a message about name change but I doubt he will respond to you. He only apprves name change for peoplw who are either donator or if he knows you (maybe). No support or staff can help you. Just create a new account if you want a specific name and forget about this account of yours.
That's not 100% true. Donators can change their display names themselves, so they do not need the staff to help them. Theymos changes your name if you provide a good reason (not because he knows you). I already stated this, so I hope I do not need to repeat myself again. hdtqisg, contact Theymos if you want to have your name changed and have a really good reason to do so. If not, please create a new account and just drop this one. |

I apologize for being so quiet these last few days, was a bit busy. We were indeed overcharged on the VAT so I'll have to send PostNL a letter complaining about this.
