1681  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Kialara Physical Bitcoins/HAVEN: Update on: July 28, 2017, 08:57:39 PM
Very cool and thanks, I'll do some searching for them.

I'd venture to say anyone with cool bar style items would be able to make those drawers look awesome when filled.  Smiley
Would be neat to see Kialara Gold bars next to real gold bars, that would be quite something! Cheesy

Looks well organized, I'm wondering who makes that multi drawer system the Kialara's are stored in while assembling.
They look like the drawers we had in my art class years and years ago. Not sure how much that helps you, but it might be worth to google around for drawers like these. I wouldn't mind having those as my display cases.

I wonder how the drawer would look if TMAN buy's one of these.

but the coins are not in an airtight
....
That is just too bad. I hope people store them properly then.

these coins are cool as a cucumber - they look awesome and the case is well made. Plus my kids are fascinated by them, so they have to sit on the top shelf with my kialara golds..
I bet your shelf looks amazing with the amount of Kialara's that you own, lol.

It seems I'm missing quite a few polymerbit notes. Thought I had all of them, this is disappointing... Undecided

1688  Economy / Collectibles / Re: OPINION FIRST BITCOIN LOADED WALLET MAILED ON POSTAL COVER on: July 28, 2017, 07:31:31 AM
I like the idea! Smiley

Last year, I made a postcard doodle. (See below.) I believe it was given to Mitchell. I tried to convince him to actually mail it to someone, then place it on auction. I would've paid a bit of money to own an actual posted doodle, complete with international postage stamps, etc.

Good luck with the project, krogothmanhattan!

Regards,
Chris
I have no idea where that doodle went. I either kept it myself or it was sent out as part of the group buy. I'll have to check when I'm visiting storage.

These coins look really nice chronicsky and I can appreciate that they are different than most other coins. However, I don't really see the point as I would never open the airtight capsule just to "play" with them. That would decrease their value and even though I don't collect to sell, I wouldn't want their value to demise. The fact that these are also quite expensive makes it even worse. If they were around the price of a Ravenbit or even a Bitcoin Penny, I would love to have a few and play around with them, but $100 a piece for a brass coin (I assume it's brass as you didn't specify the material anywhere) is just too much for me, so I'll have to pass.

Good luck with sales!

I cannot wait to get my bar! Can I make a sacrifice to the Kialara gods to speed it all up?

Cheesy so good to see fellow collectors so excited about a new Kialara release.

What type of sacrifice will do in this case?

- Peel a physical Bitcoin of your choice
- Hold a physical Bitcoin of your choice with bare hands after dipping them into sticky honey, then put back into its airtite as it is and leave under the sun
- Clean a physical Bitcoin of your choice with sandpaper using clockwise and counter clockwise motion
- Drop a high value loaded physical Bitcoin in acid, and let it dissolve together with holo and private key, you have to watch the whole thing too

 Shocked

That..... That is pure evil. I would never abuse my coins like that!

There is another update on Kialara blog:

I’ve been very hard at work (12 hour days each day this week), and will work on a detailed update to share here and via email tomorrow (Thursday) around 5pm/6pm California time. Lots of pics to share too!
I hope they are done with assembling soon.

I am afraid you posted in a prohibited section. There is a sticky thread right on top of this forum titled PSA: Altcoin related threads (including ICO's) do not belong here New - how could you overlook this? The most appropriate place to move your thread is the  Announcements (Altcoins) section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0
I sometimes wonder if people ignore stickied threads on purpose. It's seems to be very hard hard for people to read.
