^ Dunno about that. Volume and liquidity matters a whole lot. And source of price where all exchanges base their own is from the market where there’s a whole lot of volume and liqudity. Even if Atomic swaps try to dictate the ‘real price’ of XMR, it will be arb’d enough to be priced the same as the market.
You can't arb taint.

According to research jointly done by 17 news organizations, Pegasus infected 37 phones belonging to people who don’t meet the criteria NSO says is required for its powerful spyware to be used. Victims included journalists, human rights activists, business executives, and two women close to murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, according to The Washington Post. Technical analysis from Amnesty International and the University of Toronto’s Citizen Lab confirmed the infections. https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2021/07/clickless-exploits-from-israeli-firm-hacked-activists-fully-updated-iphones/

yup Wizards was animated in a very distinct animation style (rotoscope? not sure)
i think Wizards and Heavy Metal were released within a few years of each other. it was when i was in my tripping phase so i saw both while wasted at some point.. fun times. left a lot of brain cells in the late 70s/early 80s heh.
Watching Heavy Metal in the theater on Mesc with my GF is one of my best memories. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Wizards...didnt that release with Heavy Metal? If I am thinking of the right film anyway...animated right? One of the best trips of my life...a midnight showing at the Del Ray...epic

Just popping into ask a quick question. Is there any free programs that can clean up/make an old movie file sharper. I have some old VHS home movies that I moved to DVD a long time ago, but they are, well, VHS quality. I wouldn't mind letting some AI make them 4K. Does anyone have any suggestions?
I figured DLSS tech should be able to do this and did a quick google. this should point you in the correct direction. https://www.reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/9lu3es/dlss_for_video_players/

This is a very interesting rule on dell website
The 3070 pulls under 260 watts The 3080 pulls under 325 watts.
As a long time miner this is big news.
Maybe this is why the alienware onboard chips were gimped in bios.

Maybe Satoshi doesn't care about material wealth. Maybe for him it's all about contributing to the world. Maybe he has decided to "burn" those million coins, as a donation to all of us. You may think such things never happen, but they do.
What will happen if he really burnt the BTC under his ownership? ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Just asking for a friend. The world would go into a full fledged hunt for him and he would never have a minute of peace because people are pieces of shit.

Denver came close though and Peyton won me most (maybe all I forget) of my leagues as I grabbed him first to third round (which I was the laughing stock of a few leagues until a few weeks in). No-one drafted a QB before 5th round back then. I find that surprising, though I don't know how your league scored QB stats. Maybe you got a point every time he handed the ball off? Really though, I remember Payton being more of a game manager that last year in Denver. He would throw many short routs for scores, but they seemed to be a run-heavy offence, as I recall. There is an exception to every rule and he was one, Elway had the team stacked for Peytons stand there and air it out game which put up 40-50 points per week. And as far as the running game actually they dumped off more often than not and that pads the QB stats. Thats one reason Rottenburger puts up such great numbers with running backs like Bell, yeah and garbage time too. Being able to spot these type of aberrations can win you a season.

^ Uuuh you’re saying, almost shilling, the hype will drive the price much higher then say it’s not the point. Why mention the hype in the first place?
And how can we use Monero if we don’t buy Monero? And what’s really happening here is what Fluffy said years ago. It’s beta vs VHS. Beta was the superior tech but everybody used VHS cos it had more marketing behind it and the companies that mattered in that space all supported it.
Actually everyone used VHS because it was Much Much cheaper, Sony shot themselfs in the foot by pricing everyone else out of owning a betamax. Another example of this was IBM with OS2. And LAserdisks. But don't let a bad analogy stand in your way of making a good argument. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I wonder why I didn't know about this? How does this news "slip between the cracks"? Are you guys slacking too or was it posted and I missed it? The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. (Goldman Sachs or the Company), a global financial institution headquartered in New York, New York, and Goldman Sachs (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (GS Malaysia), its Malaysian subsidiary, have admitted to conspiring to violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) in connection with a scheme to pay over $1 billion in bribes to Malaysian and Abu Dhabi officials to obtain lucrative business for Goldman Sachs, including its role in underwriting approximately $6.5 billion in three bond deals for 1Malaysia Development Bhd. (1MDB), for which the bank earned hundreds of millions in fees. Goldman Sachs will pay more than $2.9 billion as part of a coordinated resolution with criminal and civil authorities in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and elsewhere. https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/goldman-sachs-charged-foreign-bribery-case-and-agrees-pay-over-29-billionI just watched "The Kleptocrats" documentary, otherwise never would have know about this. Its nice seeing Ballsacks getting their just deserts! edited documentary name duh.

If he isn't already using electrum he could export all the keys from his old wallets, then import them into electrum. After that he could freeze any problematic dust addresses, so they can't be spent from.
Either that, or wait until the fees are extremely low, then send dust spread across loads of addresses to a single consolidation address.
Fees are fairly low at the moment.
Today the bitcoinfees website says zero fee transactions can still confirm if you are prepared to wait 95 blocks.
It says a one sat per byte fee can confirm inbetween 3 to 64 blocks.
https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/
*edit*
Apparently it's very difficult to broadcast a zero fee transaction. There seems to be a way to trick electrum into letting you broadcast a zero fee segwit transaction, but I'm not sure if it works for normal transactions.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Electrum/comments/kt41dq/finally_changed_electrum_code_to_have_truly_zero/
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/OP_RETURNOP_RETURN is a script opcode used to mark a transaction output as invalid. Since any outputs with OP_RETURN are provably unspendable, OP_RETURN outputs can be used to burn bitcoins.
