Hi i am new to antminer S1 and i cannot connect my browser to 192.168.1.99 which is my antminer ip
i try to change the TCP/IPV4 to
ip address : 192.168.1.188 <--- change this to 192.168.2.188 subnet : 255.255.255.0 default gateway : 192.168.1.1 <--- change this to 192.168.2.1
prefered DNS : 8.8.8.8 alternative dns : blank
and also try the default antminer tutorial
IP Address: 192.168.2.254 Subnet: 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway: 192.168.2.1
Both also no luck can anyone please help me thank you
Then open your favorite browser and browse to: 192.168.2.254 Considering of course that your ant came with a sticker saying that the address is 192.168.2.254 If not post your Ant's sticker (IP) details here. Did you connect the Antminer to your laptop/PC directly? If so, you had to disconnect your PC/laptop from your network router/switch, unless you have a 2nd card? If this is the case, you need the laptop to be 192.168.1.100 so you can connect to the web page of the Antminer http://192.168.1.99 then you can follow the guide to change it to 192.168.0.188 and other settings so it can be connected to your router/switch. Sorry i am kinda noob here The Antiner Sticker is 192.168.1.99 But my internet default gateway is 192.168.0.1 so if i change the default gateway i try to change the TCP/IPV4 to ip address : 192.168.1.188 subnet : 255.255.255.0 default gateway : 192.168.1.1 i lost my internet connection and yes the miner is directly connect to my router with antenna it has port and the ant miner is connected to the last port That's good. You will lose connection to the internet on the PC that you change the IP settings on (this is temporary), but it will bring you to the same subnet(work) as the Antminer, and you'll be able to change the Antminer S1 to your home subnet(work). When your PC/laptop is 192.168.1.100 connect to the Antminer and change it to: 192.168.0.188 IP address 255.255.255.0 subnet mask 192.168.0.1 IP default gateway (assuming this is your network router address) 192.168.0.255 broadcast address 8.8.8.8 DNS custom address Make sure you save and apply and wait until it is applied successfully. you should lose connection from the PC until you change your PC back to your regular settings (either DHCP or 192.168.0.x) You can now connect to the Antminer S1 on 192.168.0.188 and put your miner pool settings. Good luck. clear the IPV4 BROADCAST address - this is unnecessary in 95% of home networks Thanks guys i finally able to excess the antminer pinging it and then refresh but now i am facing another problem i have input the pool configuration username and password but the unit seems not hashing from the miner status page all section appear " this section contain no value' anyone please help ? go back to the first page and follow the setup instructions. They are not very complicated and should have avoided all of your questions above

sell it on ebay - you'll probably sell it for enough money to buy 10-40GH of ASICs

Very likely that I will buy 5-11 units, shipped to Ontario, Canada.
any idea what they overclock to? It seems like bitmain saw that everyone clocked 1.6->2.0GH on the U1, so they hopefully beefed up the voltage a bit on this to allow it clocking towards 2.4-2.6GH
thats the key if they did not swap out the resistor your max clock will be 2 or maybe 2.2 I have 20 of the old ones coming on sat. I want to see a new one clocked to 2.4 or 2.6 which means the resistor needs to be swapped and it means you need a good hub. It may turn out that the older model is better then the new one. Thats true, you might not have enough amperage from most USB 2.0 ports to go far past 2GH. However, USB 3.0 ports should be capable of 5W (~2.8GH)

Which part wasn't what you wanted? You have daily profit and hourly profit. If you want something else, learn the math.
I think you have to learn the math..... If you can't - use a calc 0.00829 BTC/day per MH/s * 4.5 MH/s 24-hour Average = 0.037305 / day 4 hours before and of the day I have JUST March 7, 2014 6:55pm 0.01231820 March 7, 2014 5:55am 0.01126142 = 0.02357962 - for 20 hours !!! Do you believe that for 4 hours I'll receive another 0.037305 - 0.02357962 = 0.01372538 I do not believe! its you that doesnt understand. Its not about ading or subtracting, its about the overall varience. The pool does not find blocks on schedule 24/7, it has lucky days and unlucky days.

I failed to realise that noon CET was 6am here *fail*
in any case, looks like the buyers got a fair price, I am not sure I would have bid much higher, definitely no more than 0.09BTC/GH
You realize that your maximum bid(5.4BTC) is way higher than the price of the DIY2 ? whoops, missed a decimal point meant 0.54/DIY2

sounds like a PSU issue. I have a Corsair C600M with 552W of 12V power and it ran an overclocked antminer without problems. However, not all power supplies can push full capacity for 24/7 and some may not be able to hold more than 80% of the peak rating for a long time.
Try disconnecting power from the secondary blade and try again. If the device runs 90GH without problems but is having issues with running both blades then its a PSU issue
I have a Corsair 500 CXM lined up for one Antminer. I read at over clocked they pull 400w. Will this PSU be good enough? Its a gamble, since there is only 450W available on the 12V rail. You might get away with stock speeds, but if you overclock it theres a high chance you will get chips disabling, random reboots, or low hashrates from a lack of wattage over 12V

same thing here but I am using a Corsair CS750, got 2 units both are going crazy for few min and then they die., there is a red light on one of the units and one flashing green light next to it. I just got my first Antminer S1 yesterday. I went to set it up and it won't stay on more then a few sec. I'll turn on the power and It will flash a few green light on the side. The ethernet ports will light up and then when i go to log in about 15 sec after it Flashes crazy fast green lights on the side and dies. WTF?
What size power supply are you using ? If your supply is under powered it will shut off after a few min 600 watt Corsair. But i guess it could be bad. I'll go buy a new one in the morning I did't even check dose this company do returns/replacements? how long do you hold down the reset button? sounds like a PSU issue. Bots retreat from the battle like cowards and widen the gap. Now men.... well we ATTACK! No room for cowards in this business. Turn off your bots and join the men.. and women of course. so are we dealing with a pump, or actual demand? Did Lophie give up and hit market buy? Time is getting short, I imagine sub 1btc buys are going to be history soon enough regardless. Meanwhile, I'll just check the selling threshold Well i loaded up a few BTC worth Bitcoin stocks have had a rough time since btct.co - AM shares have a lot of room to increase in value when the gen 3 chip becomes a reality

hope you can get some lower prices on the next batch though We could save on costs by outsourcing manufacture to China, but I'll be in my grave before I give away American jobs. As it is, the price is dictated by the cost of materials and labor. We're looking at ways to alter the board design on a future batch to reduce assembly time and save a bit of materials, but that won't kick in for a while. Quality materials and quality workmanship (at least that's what we're trying to do) are more important to me than most anything else. I like your attitude! +1 Personally though, I would rather put that money towards an warrantied ATX PSU or spend an hour and $10 of supplies to do some home soldering

Not impressed at all personally. This is about as vaporware as possible. There isnt even a case design - just a shitty 3D render that actually appears to be hollow. for reference, bitmain had 3D renders of the actual board available before they had actual photos, and that again was before they opened sales. PROOF comes before SALES. not the other way around

Did Antminers S1 really start shipping in early November? I feel so late to the game because I barely found out about them.
how much in usa dollars were they when they launched in november?
They were 4.75BTC in the first batch and 4.25BTC in the second batch about a week later (Proud, broken-even owner from both). This is approximately $900-1000/btc at the time

Quad Sapphire R9 270X cards - average hashrate of 2.074 Mhash/s oh, and 2 Antminer U1 = 4GH/s SHA256 mining GPU0 (2nd card from the left) is actually on a pair of daisy-chained 16X ribbon risers since I intend to use the rig for some gaming
