I ordered and paid for Antminer S1 on Monday directly from BitMainTech.Com.

They promise shipping within 48 hours.

It is now Thursday and my order is still unshipped.

A PM sent asking for information told me not to worry and asked for my order number.  Then no further reply.
Who sent you a pm?  I ordered several antminers on Monday and the order was confirmed paid right away, but still has not shipped.

The status shows: Paid, Unshipped, Valid

The forum should offer additional functionality to thread starters that allow them to spawn a pop-up with info and a check-box confirming some information. Here I'm thinking something along the lines of
"I confirm I have read at least two of the pages in this thread, and my post does not contain the same question that has been asked and answered 100 times before."

The units ship when they ship, and the updating of information or uploading of a tracking number lags that. Often units can arrive days before an order gets marked as shipped on the website.

I just got my first Antminer S1 yesterday. I went to set it up and it won't stay on more then a few sec. I'll turn on the power and It will flash a few green light on the side. The ethernet ports will light up and then when i go to log in about 15 sec after it Flashes crazy fast green lights on the side and dies. WTF?

What size power supply are you using ? If your supply is under powered it will shut off after a few min

sounds like a PSU issue. I have a Corsair C600M with 552W of 12V power and it ran an overclocked antminer without problems. However, not all power supplies can push full capacity for 24/7 and some may not be able to hold more than 80% of the peak rating for a long time.

Try disconnecting power from the secondary blade and try again. If the device runs 90GH without problems but is having issues with running both blades then its a PSU issue

2 units on one PSU? that would be your issue if so

I have a Corsair 500 CXM lined up for one Antminer. I read at over clocked they pull 400w. Will this PSU be good enough?

Its a gamble, since there is only 450W available on the 12V rail.  You might get away with stock speeds, but if you overclock it theres a high chance you will get chips disabling, random reboots, or low hashrates from a lack of wattage over 12V

The Corsair CX500M, according to NewEgg, has the following specs:
Quote
ATX12V v2.3
Modular
80 PLUS BRONZE Certified
100 - 240 V 47 - 63 Hz
+3.3V@25A, +5V@20A, +12V@38A, -12V@0.8A, +5VSB@3A

12v x 38A = 456W

401W is 88% of the 456W, so I would not overclock the S1 using this PS.

EDIT NOTE:  klondike_bar was faster than I was in posting.  Same conclusion though.

Well bummer. Guess I will be returning this and trying to find a better one.

How about this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182082&Tpk=N82E16817182082

ATX12V v2.31 / EPS12V v2.92
100-240V
80 PLUS Platinum Certified
Efficiency up to 94%
+12V@45.5A

+12V@45.5A = 546 * lowest efficiency of 89% = 486. That should work right?

If mine doesn't ship today I'm tempted to see if Bitmain can squeeze in another unit.

i had cx500 and s1 over clocked to 393mhz and there was no problem at all. No reboots,  200gh/s average and no issue what so ever. I had 5 units like that and no problem what so ever.

Yes, it should - do the math from the previous example:

+3.3V@20A, +5V@20A, +12V@45.5A, -12V@0.5A, +5VSB@2.5A
> 89%, Up to 94%

12v*45.5A=546W
min > 89%
546*.89=485.94W
max = 94%
546*.94=513.24W

fwiw I've also used two of the cheaper cx750s to power 3 oc'ed ants as well, Kill O watt shows 693 at the wall.

Whats your hashrate at?, what did you OC to?

We ran a test with 2 OC'd units and they pull a steady 872w per two units at the wall on a dell server grade 750w.

Folks in the US - how much is the customs duty? Looking to buy a few more soon, going to have them shipped to the US if it is less than 140USD per miner.
