2521  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: List of countries that are encouraging the Bitcoin/Altcoin revolution on: February 20, 2023, 07:17:33 AM
El Salvador should be on top of the list I have it on top and they are the first country that adopts Bitcoin as their national currency and their representative even wore a Bitcoin-inspired outfit to show to the World that they are one proud country adopting Bitcoin, nothing beats this in terms of adoption, there success in adopting will fave the way for countries who plan to adopt Bitcoin as their currency.

Last year, bitcoin's value plunged over 60%, even as Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele continued to hype buying "the dip" to boost the government's bitcoin reserves.

Bukele has made no secret of his ambition to make the Central American nation a crypto hub, complete with a bitcoin "city,

I guess losing your private keys or seeds and getting scammed is the one that really hurts when you're into this business, you are left on your own the decision are all yours on how to proceed, and you have to choose who and what to trust and how to protect yourself.
Honestly little knowledge is very dangerous in the Crypto world, no knowledge is adequate you must always update your knowledge and always if what you know about security is still relevant in the Crypto world.
2523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 19, 2023, 02:46:19 PM
However, Donaire is now fighting a different opponent, so we'll most probably see the power that we're talking about in this fight.
That's guaranteed. The fact that Santiago does not have the KO power of Inoue means this fight might last longer if Donaire does not knock out Santiago. We all know that Donaire is still hungry for a win; he wants to be at the top again. And now that Inoue is not a hindrance anymore, he will certainly not waste this opportunity to come back at the top.

Donaire should not let the match go the distance, Santiago is young and he can get a second or third wind in the course of the fight, and Donaire is quite old he may gas out and will have a hard time getting a third wind, I'm not saying that Donaire should knock him out right away, but he should find angles and do counter punches as he did against Graballo and Oubaali.
I'm seeing Donaire finishing Santiago via a left hook or body punch unless Santiago prefers to avoid this.
2524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to run a bounty campaign? on: February 19, 2023, 02:01:16 PM
how to become a bounty manager i want to run bounty campaign so how can i run campaign please tell me

Do you have your own coin to promote or are you going to offer yourselves to be a bounty manager, if it's the latter forget it, build your reputation here first and try to rank up I know you want to be a manager not because of the challenge because you want to make money right away.
It's not easy to be a manager unless you know the in and out of Bitcointalk, I may be too harsh but you have to see the reality here.
2525  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto casino project - bug hunt & feature ideas on: February 19, 2023, 12:28:54 PM
So, if I take a Tesla car and I add spoilers and new rims and fancy paint and tinted windows and a new dashboard ...can I say it is now a new model car? Can I then sell that car, if I mass produce it ...or is this car still owned by Tesla?

When I started reading this whole thread, I thought OP created the "base" for this project... but now it looks like he added the spoilers and rims and fancy paint?

Just asking.....  Roll Eyes

Again, if 70+ bugs and 10+ new features together with a completely new frontend is "spoilers and rims" then sure.
But honestly to me it seems you don't understand how any of this works and you're just commenting to get your post count up.

How can you prove your point if people here are not asking, forget the count-up post he is asking a legit question and his observation, his observation may be right or wrong but this is a forum where there is a flow of discussion to find out the truth.

People jump to conclusions too quickly, especially those who have 0 knowledge about the matter.
For that reason I won't be answering any more bs posts on this thread.

Then lock this thread you open a discussion, people are posting if there is a poster that you think is out of line then don't answer it and ignore and answer legit questions or posts that are on topic, don't expect us to side on you right away you have to prove your point, we have moderators that will delete posts that are not relevant to the topic.
2526  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Selling Legendary account (BROOP) on: February 19, 2023, 08:57:03 AM

Back in the day, account farming was easy. So, there are people who have created a lot of accounts and now selling them  Cheesy
If you have insight from five or six years ago you can farm or collect legendary accounts and sell them now, back then people are targeting legendary accounts because of the signature campaign there are so many legit projects in the ICO back then where you can make thousands of dollars if you're legendary.
But now that the ICO days are over and the majority of ICO signature campaigns are scams they have no use of these accounts and they do not want to participate in signature campaigns anymore so they are selling these higher rank accounts.

Knowledge and awareness are the best defense, you may have the best antiviruses in the market but if you keep on clicking unwanted ads and links one of these malware can get in unnoticed.
I am still a Windows user because of the application that I'm using, so I have a heightened alert about this malware, knowledge and the best AVs in the market are just two ways to combat getting your PC infected.
You really have to know what to avoid scammers are good at marketing and cloaking their malware.
2528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 18, 2023, 11:17:01 PM

All these news and hype with the recent statement of WBC's president, then suddenly Tommy Fury will back out that will result to a cancellation of the fight. I wonder what would Jake Paul feel as his ambitions are shattered with Fury's selfish move Grin But seriously tho, I hope this fight will happen so that it will end much sooner because bouts like these are more like a circus rather than a real boxing entertainment.

Even if Jake Paul will receive his rankings after he defeat Tommy Fury, I doubt if there's any boxer out there in the upper rank that will give him a chance. Anyway, let's see about that in the upcoming months.

And why not if the money is right and the other boxer has the chance to make money, if I am a ranked Cruiserweight will challenge him it will boost my career, Jake Paul is a good feather in the cap of every Cruiserweight, imagine after a long journey you stopped the Jake Paul hype and that is something that will be attached to your career.
I guess at this point in time everybody wants Jake Paul's head, especially now that their PPV price is higher than professional boxers, it's about time that we take Jake Paul seriously.
2529  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Owl.games confiscated 0.1 BTC for rediculous reason on: February 18, 2023, 10:55:43 PM
Since I came across Owl.games and started playing there, I think this is the first really legitimate complaint I've seen against them, and it looks pretty bad, the fact that they have locked up their thread on this forum, and now this, make them look really suspicious, I believe they have seen this thread but will blatantly ignore it.
Owl.games can no longer be trusted, and I will advise my friends who play there to stop and move to another casino, I am going to sell all my owl tokens and put the money back in Bitcoin, I can no longer trust this casino.

They have good momentum when they launched their campaign they are doing great I'm sure Bitcointalk also contributed to the popularity of their gambling platform, if it's their decision to lock their thread ignore all complaints here and not address accusations even though the complainant comply to their request that all complaints to direct all complaints to their support ticket, then its time for OP to create a flag for them to warn other members of this forum to stop playing until they address this particular complaint.
I have this feeling they have a bad intention in locking the thread and ignoring their player's complaints, it's already 9 days.

I believe that you can do create your own original code by yourself given that you have debugged a messy original code. Debugging is kinda annoying and It surely proves that you have skills in coding. I hope that your buyers knows what kind of products they got or hope that they understand what they are buying.

There could be a potential damage to phoenix-gambling if ever there are buyers who showed up here and post their feedbacks. Let's just hope that this situation won't backfire on your end.

But first phoenix gambling should prove first that he is part of the phoenix-gambling platform https://phoenix-gambling.com/ by doing what LoyceV is asking of him like what @swaga did to his website, this conversation or discussion is useless if he cannot first establish that he is part of the team since he has an accusation against OP.
2531  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammed by cur-ves.com on: February 18, 2023, 09:23:46 AM
I lost over $200,000 on this site after a chinese woman asked me to register for the site. If you google cur-ves.com you will find nothing. But when this woman gave me the link I was able to register and do options trading with her giving me directions. We had a year long relationship and when I decided to withdraw some of the money they told me I had to pay taxes before anything could be withdrawn. They wouldn't just withhold the amount for taxes, I had to pay them upfront. I refused the account is still there but effectively frozen. Since this site is so secretive I would like to know what experiences others have had with this. The woman said you can get a 8-12% return on your investment. Isn't this suspicious?

Losing $200k is just too much did you not get suspicious that this is an unknown site, or did you not first verify if it's ok to invest or you have been blinded by the Chinese woman with who you got into a relationship.
I would have done this because it involves a very huge amount I don't know your business or profession but it seems to invest $200k is ok with you.
This is an example of never easily trusting people on the internet that you did not personally meet and checking the background even if the invitee looks like a Miss Universe candidate.
2532  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Identification of scammers? on: February 17, 2023, 11:55:48 PM
I want to know how to identify scammers and if there is any how can we know them as a beginner.

Even advance investors are at loss on how to trace these scammers you just have to check FTX and Luna they are doing well until everything turns worse, the best thing to develop is checking the signs, scammers are good at impersonation they know how to look good in the eyes of their victims, so don't look on how they present themselves but on the sign that will give them away, like asking you money right away or your wallet private keys, these are just warning signs.
2533  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 17, 2023, 11:11:27 PM

Much to my surprised Magsayo will not have Roach as his lead trainer he opted to be with Marvin Zamodio, lets's see in this coming fight if Magsayo made the right decision, Magsayo badly needed to win this fight, but changing your main trainer like Roach will make a huge impact in his performance could be bad or good for this coming fight, it will be interesting what Magsayo will show with Zamudio in his corner.

Magsayo, Promoter Explain Change In Head Trainers From Freddie Roach To Marvin Somodio

Quote
“But they relate more. They’re Filipino. They speak the same dialect. And he just felt like he needed a change. He needed a new gym. He just needed to try something new. And, you know, like I said, nothing against Freddie, nothing against Wild Card, but sometimes you wanna try something new, let Marvin lead, be the lead trainer. And we’re gonna see the results. I think we’ll see very good results on March 4th.”

I think it could be the issue that Mark or coach Freddy has a tight deadline with some boxers as well that's why he can't give more time to Magsayo. Not saying that he is the reason why Mark lost, it's not and I would agree that it's better if it will be a Filipino so that there will be no lost in translation.

Marvin has guided Mark before and giving him good advise in his career.

I think it's time for Magsayo to go back to his grassroots training against with his old lead trainer.

I'm not saying this is a bad decision but we know how great Roach having mentored Pacquiao and all other great boxers, he knows what to say and how to say things before and during the fight, I don't know Zamudio, but if he wins the fight against Figueroa it's very likely that he will have Zamudio as a permanent trainer.
I hope Magsayo will be back on the right track Figueroa is just too good every time I watched his style of fighting on Youtube I have doubt if Magsayo can match his skill and aggresiveness.

The first thing that I will do if I found someone is selling my site is create a disclaimer you already did this by posting this on your chat with your telegram but this is a chat, any member can post here it should be a dedicated page or you can create a redirection in your Cpanel to any platform that claims ownership of your platform like here in Bitcointalk
or if you are fizz off you can shut down the site you have full control, you can claim ownership in many ways

2535  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 17, 2023, 11:23:07 AM
Could be a blessing in disguise for Donaire he is preparing for the Moloney fight but here he is fighting a guy whose skill is lower than Moloney, Santiago is smaller than Donaire and we all know that Donaire is very good when he is fighting small guys.
Santiago fought Ancajas in 2018 and ended in a draw but Donaire is miles away when it comes to skill his only advantage is his age, but Donaire still has the power and speed but he needs to knock out Santiago in the early rounds.
2536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: February 17, 2023, 07:05:50 AM
This will be a good fight, it's obvious majority will think Ortiz Jr will win via KO, but I think taking risk to bet Stanionis win via decision isn't a bad idea.

Both Stanionis and Ortiz Jr have been fought an undefeated boxer, Ortiz Jr completely win since he was knocking out Michael McKinson while Stanionis he win via split decision against Radzhab Butaev. But I think the judge who score favor in Butaev is really robbed, Stanionis should win via unanimous decision.
I like to contradict your opinion anyway it's good for the flow of discussion if there are contradictions, the knockout ratio is just too high 60% and 70% respectively on the two fighters, these two are not running in a fight they love to engage and slug it out.

I see one of them going down, and I don't see Ortiz the one going down although I'm not ruling out the possibility that Stationis can score an upset he can always deliver, but Ortiz knows the weight of this fight and he wants to look impressive in the eyes of the boxing community and this is that fight.
I admire your taking the risk to bet on Stationis with a decision I have to respect your choice so good luck.
2537  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Never depend on cryptocurrency as your only source of income. on: February 16, 2023, 11:25:35 PM
We need to avoid a lot of misconceptions surrounding thos topic of the source of income as this term can be defined in many terms and under different conditions, I have a friend who does not have any other job aside from cryptocurrency trading and he is making good profits from trading after he spent many months-Years learning the skills.
So having only that source of income in trading is sufficient for him and he is having steady savings, so why should he now worry about having cryptocurrency as a source of income?

Of course, there are always exceptions and your friend is one of them, you can easily make money from doing the things that you love or have been doing for a long time if your friend is a long-time trader in other industries, a transition from other industries to Cryptocurrency will be easy and he can still create the same results.
not only traders from freelancers as well, but you can also make a profit from holders if you're good at analyzing the best coin to invest that will yield future profit.
Some bounty hunters are making bounty hunting their source of income, so in general, there are people who depend on Cryptocurrency as a source of income.
2538  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 16, 2023, 10:45:53 PM
<...>

Hey, OP, as long as you've been on the forum, you should know better than to include a link to the news item. I guess the news is in Portuguese? I've searched and I don't see anything about it but I did find this which is relevant to the general match fixing problem:

I hope OP will edit the thread and include the link where he gets that information, the absence of the article or link will treat the thread as speculation, and it's unfair to the football organization of Brazil that a discussion like this exists which no article to back it up, any organization doesn't want to be put in the bad light especially if the case is game fixing.
All sports organization owed their existence to the paying fans and supporters if they lose their trust they will lose sponsorships and the organization will crumble, so they have to be quick to investigate and ban people who are involved to game fixing.
2539  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 16, 2023, 03:15:24 PM
Frankly, I did not understand how and why he would get a ranking. To get a rank you need to beat someone who rank. Does Tommy has a worlds rank? According to boxrec, they both already have ranks.

https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/854141 - Tommy
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/912383 - Jake

Where does it say they're ranked?

It is said that Jake is on worlds place #379 / 1,162 place and  on #52 / 188 in USA. Tommy is #363 and #45 in UK. Dont know what kind of rating it is, but somehow they are rated.

Did not know that Jakes aims to become a champion. Like he really said he dreams to get one of WBA, WBO, IBF, WBC and Rings belts ? The guys there are doing professional boxing for 10+ years and had years of amateur career. Jake is "a little bit" late to become a champion imho.

When you wear a globe and go inside the right and fight, one of your motivations is to become a champion, all boxers dreamed of becoming a champion and a World title is their ultimate goal, there are fighters who are called journeymen but they too dream and have it in their mind to fight for the title.
And I don't think he is too late to become a champion George Foreman won his second title at 46 years and 169 days old, with the right team, training, and motivation Jake Paul could become a champion and he will have the last laugh.

Hello! Thank you very much for the reports/feedback, we are fixing all these shortly.

I guess there are still a lot of bugs on your platform it's good that you told us that you are in a beta test but you should change the title of the thread and put the word still in beta phase, late visitors on the casino will think that the platform is already working 100% percent.
It's also better to have a timeline on where you are going to fully launch your casino, and I recommend when you are ready you lock this thread and create a new one with a good design to compete with all the other casinos, you must make the community feel that you are ready for the competition.
