I didn't review OP's post history, but I'll take your word for it that his posts are generic ones just based on what he wrote here.  OP, if you ever want to earn merits, your posts have to stand out from the rest of the garbage posts that permeate a lot of threads, especially in sections like Bitcoin Discussion and the like.  If you're writing in the English section and your grasp of the language isn't great, don't expect any of your posts to earn merits unless you've contributed something very interesting or helpful.

@lovemayfamilis exposed his dupes several times before this, including instances of plagiarism:
Let him have it if it's deserved, though I have no clue what his original offense was.  If you could enlighten me, I'd appreciate it.

I think these 2 accounts were banned for spam. He writes and creates his posts only in META. And there were complaints about a lot of posts. Today's two accounts woke up at the same time, and both were banned for a week.
There is nothing useful in his topics, and in almost all topics there is communication with oneself.
He has a negative tag on 2 accounts and one neutral donated to nutildah.

I have no direct evidence, but only this character has a style of writing on the name of the forum.

Forum mission is to encourage everyone to be in the ecosystem.

Bitcointalk forum is an organized ecosystem
and

This challenges has now make registration of bitcointalk account difficult mostly for the newbies and thereby also causing limitations to the population of people wishing to be long to this lovely ecosystem.
I Suggests if account registration can be done without VPN or either if the related problem above can be Minimize.

And there is also plagiarism that has been forgiven by the moderators. Sometimes people do not appreciate kindness, but they still have to pay for their stupidity.

<snip>
<snip>
Wow, two newbies who created accounts on the forum about an hour and a half apart posting consecutively with shitposts.  Guess people really are still account farming these days.

This character is sick, and he suffers from a split personality. It is naive to think that we will not notice his writing style. He loves to talk to himself, impersonating each of his accounts as different people.
The only thing I regret is that the moderators regretted Delight Media for plagiarism, and did not block him and his IP.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1926895.msg57050646#msg57050646

Until then, we will see this poster in META every day.

2.Delight Media
3.Emanuelaeventry
4.iroseyike
5.Cryptojurnalist
6.Cryptoflirt

I don't think that OP would be dumb enough to be ban evading by making a thread in meta thanking for a un ban

Believe it or not, the way you named it, this is exactly the case.
2542  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🔥BFG is LISTED🔥 BUY🔺SELL🔺EXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 14, 2021, 02:23:23 AM

If your longest losing streak at x2 is just 12 I can only conclude you don't have many rolls behind! Smiley Or there's one more option, you keep your sessions timed (you play just from time to time, maybe you even play a specific number of rolls every time)!

I am not sure how 20 sats can become 16k sats with x2 bet, or maybe I don't get the whole picture!? Smiley What exactly did you hit?

Basically, I tried many strategies... and when I say I tried them it means sessions with +200k rolls. From strategies with chasing lower payouts (under x2... x1.1, x1.5...) to the ones with higher payouts (over x2... to x9k or over if we include crash/limbo)!

I raged many times... and sometimes I got busted, sometimes I get lucky! It's gambling... and after all, it's martingale (all some form of martingale)... if you don't rage and raise your bets you will not be able to recover what you lost and for sure you will not make any profit!

Whoops, forgot to add the zero:
20 > 40 > 80 > 160 > 320 > 640 > 1280 > 2560 > 5120 > 10240 > 20480 > 40960 > 81920 > 163840

Haha, exactly. But sometimes I just go #YOLO and bet my entire balance and leave with a fat zero Grin
2543  Other / Meta / Re: Do You Believe a New Forum Software Will Attract More Users to Bitcointalk? on: July 14, 2021, 01:51:15 AM
Probably not. Its the community, and the amount of information that's here on the forum that is the main draw. You generally get used to any software you use after a certain amount of time, and groundbreaking features or even a forum redesign isn't likely to change much in the statistics.

If there was more competition to Bitcointalk, then it might have a little more effect, but currently I don't think that is the case.

When I first came here, I didn't see the appeal of the staying for long because of how bland it looks. I recalled it was due to locating some recovery wallet phrase for a Bitcoin wallet and setting up some miner's config file and it showed up on first on the SERP.

But competition? The OGs started their journey here, so Bitcointalk but nowadays people are just looking for contents. Legacy, maybe a second or two of marveling but that's pretty much that. Not like we'd see Satoshi and Laszlo returning anytime soon, if ever.

In other words, Bitcointalk was the launchpad of Bitcoin but nowadays people don't really care much about this and would rather focus on making money/ talking about latest developments.

I doubt that new forum software will attract many new users. Design of forum and software isn't main reason why people signup on forum. Main thing is always content. Yes, some people will start using forum because it will be mobile friendly, will look better and will have more features. But number of such users won't be significant.

It's no longer the early 2000s though, when UI was still in its infancy stage.

People want accessibility and now website design has come a long way. Gone were the days when redesigning a website took at least half a year, because now there are tools catered for that. The development process has been simplified over years via trial and error. So budget is definitely not an issue here because there are developers willing to take on such project, it's just if the admin(s) want it or not.

Should theymos really desire for one, pretty sure he'd get it done dinosaur ages ago. But I guess he doesn't want to prioritize if because he's pretty much content with the "as long as it's not broken, why fix it?" mantra. After all, money's still pouring in from advertisers and the funds held could feed the entire Africa for 10 generations (okay, I'm exaggerating but you get the gist).

For content, diversity within the community is important to maintain a longer attention span on the website. That's why community discussions like Reddit or Quora thrive because I could be talking about movies for a moment, followed by crypto the next. And most of the replies there are more genuine (not forced), and I'm pretty sure most of us can't deny that.
2544  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 13, 2021, 05:29:40 PM

I bought them on 3rd February while freebitco was running 1% cashback offer on FUN token purchase. I just checked my transaction history and found that each FUN token price was 121 satoshi during the time. Then I sold those tokens at the end of March month, and each token value was 62 satoshi while I sold. Fun token value is 46 Satoshi now!

Most coins are still sideways/ bearish price-wise so just take it easy and enjoy the extra benefits in the meanwhile.

In another thread, some tokens dropped from 60 cents all the way to less than 4 cents. You could imagine how hard that hit.

2547  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ Your Trusted Guide to the Best Bitcoin Casinos ⭐ on: July 13, 2021, 08:52:57 AM

Don't know why Efi got banned on the forum, but glad that BTCGOSU still gets updated every day! Always nice to read detailed reviews of interesting new casinos.
Most of the fun is indeed on Telegram, but for some reason I don't really like Telegram a lot lol  Tongue.

He got temp-banned for the paid promotion during a collab with a casino, whereby he mentioned that referrals would get some bonus/ altcoins from posting on the forum.

I issued the ban. People who incentivize posting in a thread in exchange for altcoins usually get suspended for 30 days. Since this is your 2nd time being banned (3rd time if we were to count the ban that was ended early; I don't but just adding in this info for completion's sake), the duration is doubled (as with most consecutive bans being issued). Posting the giveaway outside the altcoin sections doesn't indemnify you nor should it (IMO) reduce the punishment since you've simply violated yet another rule. From https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0:

Quote
2. No off-topic posts.

<...>

14. All altcoin related discussion belong in the Alternate cryptocurrencies and its child boards.

15. No on-forum altcoin giveaways.

<...>

I have/had no idea that something like I posted was against the rules, even less so in my own thread (I didn`t post it in giveaways section for that very reason, being USDT and no Bitcoin) - so what should have been done?!
While in certain cases leniency can be applied, you:

1) Have been on Bitcointalk for over 2 years.
2) Conducted a substantial amount of business deals on Bitcointalk (based on your Trust feedback).
3) Extensively represent a business / commercial entity.
4) Violated several rules while representing said entity.
4.1) Posted a giveaway that's outside Games and Rounds (Bitcoin giveaways are restricted to Games and Rounds)
4.2) The giveaway is giving away altcoins in exchange for posting in your thread (violating one of the few zero-tolerance rules on the forum)
4.3) Posted altcoin content outside the altcoin sections
5) Have already been banned in the past for violating the forum's rules (not counting the ban that was ended early).
6) Have also been banned (though IIRC the ban was ended early) for participating in an on-forum altcoin giveaway (=4.2) that was posted in the main boards (=4.3) (meaning you should be aware of the rule's existence or at least gotten curious as to what the rule is).

Which leads me to a simple conclusion - there is no valid excuse for you to not know the forum's rules or where and how certain type of content should be posted before posting it.

So if I wrote "send me an email" instead - which I usually do - that would be fine? I am getting the point but seriously, some sort of reviewing the individual case instead of generic action would make sense, no? Oh, there was not a single response to this post btw... lol
If you accepted entries to your giveaway (that doesn't have a requirement to post in one or more threads) via PM or via off-forum means (Google Forms, email, other external websites), yes, that'd be fine.
2548  Economy / Gambling / Re: New gambling site on: July 13, 2021, 05:44:59 AM

I can agree on this mate ,  The OP's account wascreated at 2014 but first posted in 2017 for bounties and airdrops ..
and again after 3 years creating a Thread promoting this  "New Gambling Site" meaning this is already a Flag in which after posting this did not return online.

This is a Purely Baiting site and will surely scam people who will be lured inside their site.

Agreed, we better stop bumping or the mod should lock it to avoid those newbies joining the site out of curiosity.
2549  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: July 13, 2021, 05:33:10 AM

And benefiting from the faucets ? maybe there are no vouching here since this thread talks about the running faucets but for sure there are already many people here that already gain from those faucet.
Let others answer that part mate.

Definitely, I can't deny that as well. It's just that faucets allow you to withdraw your balance once it reaches a threshold, while casinos impose wagering requirements to combat abuse.

I've seen countless players that have managed to cashout from mere cents, myself included.

It's all about luck.
2550  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dapp Casinos similar to BC.Game & BetFury? on: July 13, 2021, 04:03:31 AM

Are they trusted?
I don’t think so.
They too don’t have an ANN thread here or maybe they had but they were negative rated for some offence.
So how can you suggest this type of site to the OP?
This is really very much risky to play there.

I withdrew from the site multiple times before, so if you have some issues with LuckyFish, bring them to the official thread.

Meanwhile you are promoting a casino with tons of scam accusations in your signature, and yet you have the audacity to tell me off? Oh, the irony.
2551  Economy / Gambling / Re: List Of Crypto Casinos with The Best Faucets on: July 13, 2021, 03:45:50 AM
With all this I haven't heard of any who have benefited from this faucets could it be means of attracting users to their sites take for example freebitco.in with $200 random reward per hour. If it's really what it is then it's a good opportunity to explore more to get a better test of crypto casinos with reliable faucets.

You have to understand that Freebitcoin started off as a faucet and later incorporated gambling elements. So the core functionality still remains as a faucet.

Meanwhile casinos exist for the the reason of gambling so faucets are already considered a bonus for new players to test the sites. They are not meant to be a savings account or some wallet for accumulation.
2552  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Bitcoin Faucet in 2011 on: July 13, 2021, 03:38:59 AM

"Faucet farming" has been a complete waste of time from the first day it was created until today even if it were paying 5BTC per claim. The reason is very simple, you can always earn more by spending your time more constructively. For example you could have mined a single block and received 50BTC instead of 5!

I wouldn't really call it a waste of time. if you have a network of active referrals doing the work, it's free money.

If the withdraw threshold is too high, convert the balance into advertising credits. Promote your website/ affiliate links and get referrals in the process. Use money to make money.
2553  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Merit hunting! on: July 13, 2021, 03:33:48 AM
You got one thing wrong there:

Quote
First of all merits are decentralized

As long as there's someone (theymos) managing the forum, whatever we own here does not belong to us. Merits included. This forum is centralized because all of our account information are stored on servers accessible by the admin(s).

If someone commits an offense, he/ she gets suspended. No access to account. Worst case scenario, plagiarism and au revoir, he/ she loses access to it permanently. All Merits owned and hoarded are gone forever.
2554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Things to remember when joining bounty campaign. on: July 13, 2021, 03:21:49 AM

You belong to old era of bounty hunters and remember that there new breed of bounty hunter in the forum so better aware and remind new or old bounty hunters to come up with a better bounty habit.

lovemayfamilis was merely joking when he made the post.

The way your sentence was worded was not the appropriate way to respond. Yes, he has been on the forum for some time now but dismissing him as an "old era bounty hunter" is somewhat disrespectful. Bounty hunters, old or new alike share the same goal. Follow objectives on posting, get paid. There are no new updates at all. Plagiarism = Ban. Legit or scammy projects, DYOR (Do Your Own Research).

And just so you know, these kind of posts have been regurgitated/ recycled from time to time. If you were to make a search, they are dime a dozen.
2555  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetFury.io|BFG is LISTED BUYSELLEXCHANGE|⚡️Free BTC+BNB| on: July 13, 2021, 02:05:59 AM

Yes I am also waiting for that, i mean before Berfury launched the farming feature it would be better to have another exchange, it is also good to avoid monopoly
Btw I've heard everyone can put tokens on Pancakeswap, it doesn't have to be a development team, is that right?

Correct, hence a number of BFG-like scam contracts; anyone could create a token called BFG/ BetFury Tokens and slap a logo on it. A few pages back, the BetFury team has warned users against sending their funds to those addresses until the whole thing is official announced or live.
2556  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: July 13, 2021, 01:45:11 AM

Not a bad idea. I always loss my faucet claim amount in multiply game. Although it will take long time to accumulate decent amount of FUN tokens by faucet balance but I just bought some tokens with it. I have pretty bad experience with FUN token. I bought FUN tokens while it was firstly introduced by freebitco, the price was above 100 satoshi during the time. FUN price gradually decreasing and it has never went up since then. Buy/sell difference of FUN token is 2 satoshi at freebitco. They should reduce it to 1 satoshi.

Did you buy them when they first debuted or after the Premium membership launched in March?
2557  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit HELP - locked out on: July 12, 2021, 01:10:20 PM
I agree with you.
Just because hackers are abusing the feature to disable 2fa, doesn't mean they have to remove it completely. If a customer can prove he is the real owner of the account then he should be allowed to disable 2fa or at least give him a new secret key.
This just shows how incompetent they are, to say the least. It looks like they are using this as an excuse to lock users accounts and steal their funds.
Luckily, op was able to access his account but this is just an example why we should not store our coins on exchanges no matter how reputable they are.

Yup. Many of us used YoBit a few years back because the crypto scene was like booming and YoBit incorporated some things that weren't prevalent elsewhere such as the chatbox and the probably fair Dice game mode.

Thank goodness we have other alternatives that we could rely on, and not mainly those shitcoins that were the craze back then.
2558  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do newcomers often make plagiarism mistakes? on: July 11, 2021, 10:51:14 AM
How about those that are very much aware of the rules as it concerns plagiarism and spamming but still goes ahead to commit these crimes? What do we say is the reason behind this because, I can only think of 2.

1. Lack of information or the inability to organise there thoughts into a body of information/constructive post and

2. They are not so sure the forum would detect the crime being committed and most of all, have some hard evidence on the crime.

Unfortunately for them, that isn't the case as the forum often detects and has no time to compromise or lay down the rules with excuses of ignorance. Its not acceptable on the forum and that's period. Its overwhelming to read a bulky post but, you've got to try when it's of interest and important.

Well, just recently there was a "promising" Jr Member. He was willing to spend the effort to sign a message, not bad.

Like one day after helping him to rank up to Member, he was dumb enough to post a bunch of English - Chinese crypto terms without citing a source. Then he got banned.
2559  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Celebrating PrimeNumber7 #Legendary 0.001 BTC Prize on: July 11, 2021, 08:39:51 AM

Based on my calculations, number 89 is likely to win, although due to the number of empty spaces as of now, number 95 is the most likely to be the grand prize winner.

Participants can choose any open number, however, numbers 92 through 94 have the greatest chances of winning based on the current block number, estimated hash rate, and currently open slots.

Good luck to everyone.

Oh noes, look like I miscalculated.

Well then, I wish the entries after me all the best! Grin

Regarding that image posting part, you can omit the 'url' tags, it will work fine.

Perhaps OP could further clarify the URL tag is to make the image clickable.
