I am already at 4 rolls of unfunded and 4 rolls of funded. Smoothie has set these aside for me - i think some of the coins are close to sold out if not sold out as are some of the designs for the coins that have 4 designs. I dont think I will be getting any more of the unfunded sets |

Just want to be clear. I cant draw either, however i do believe im a good colorer. I have a 6 year old so lots of coloring experience. But, if your looking for expert shading. I might not be your guy. Not sure how perfect you want this. Dont want to let the group down. I think i could do a nice job. I was told the goal was to submit a picture to be put in the book - I asked if I could use a CAD drawing and was told no. So I withdrew from participating - if the goal was to just color a page, that would have been easy. Its my understanding that a book will be sent to the first person on the list. They will color a page and sign it, then mail it to the next person on the list. And so on until the entire book is colored. well then I am retarded lol wish I had kept my spot then. |

You've highlighted another issue with this giveaway. Your hope cannot be addressed by the manor this is being released to market. Price will be speculative unless the winner sells.
Topps will sell at auction blank back half finished cards from the Topps vault. They put a hologram on back. The card is sold publicly. A value is realized and set. Those are always base cards. Never refractors.
As for sheets, well for the 2018 ginter release, Topps released not entire sheets, but rather 3 mini cards connected, uncut as a single unit. Also released at auction. Also base mini card.
The difference I see between the 3 card & the entire sheet here is that this sheet has a lot of extra material around the borders. This allows for plenty practice cutting a good edge.
Further, let's say one particular card takes off to the stratosphere in value. There are plenty of other lesser value uncut cards to practice on in order to perfect completion of the reverse side of a card.
At best - release of this item is giving away a half completed product... And it's the hard half...of a chase card.
Not only should this not be released to the market in this manner, but it should be destroyed.
Again, base cards would be a different matter.
I cannot say I disagree - I just hope there is something that distinguishes it - either in marking or size that would prohibit them being used fraudulently |
