Yes, I'm afraid that at the end of the day Premine is still a speculative currency, so some people will hold, and others will distribute. However, once we hit an exchange, and we have a faucet, distribution will increase. If you've seen what happens to other popular altcoins, you'll see they get dumped quickly, but then the market supply becomes scarce and the sell orders start to dry up. That's when the price increases. There are 500,000 total coins. Even modestly comparing it to other coins of similar or greater rarity, that's a lot of potential value. Of course some people will hold, but they are not doing themselves any favours. Hoarding prevents distribution, and distribution is essential to give Premine value, or it is worthless. If you hold several thousand Premine, you make it more valuable by giving small amounts of it away. I don't know how much clearer I can make this to people. This is basic economics.Thankfully the kind of mindset that makes people hoard also what makes them dump, so hoarders are going to be the biggest losers. |

Who is in charge of giving him what he wants so that we can get it listed?He is the developer. I'm doing what I can. I changed the word scrypt to sha256. That now gives an error. json_rpc_call failed The wallet was running before I clicked the shortcut. Also {"code":-32601, "message":Method not found"} Is there an example string anywhere to start the premined.exe? I tried the following, premined -a sha256 -t 4 -s 6 -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword premined -t4 -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword premined -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword What are you mining with? You can mine with the wallet via CPU I believe if you set "gen = 1" in the conf file. If you are using eruptors, you will need BFG miner and CGminer. I can provide bat file examples if you need them. |

A lot very fast and reliable exchanges are popping up, and they're going to start eating into Cryptsy's profits if they don't speed things up. I hope so - even the newer exchanges that seem better than Cryptsy are relatively awful. It's preventing a lot of fiat from coming to play in the crypto world. As the market grows it will attract some bigger developers. Cryptsy is big, but compared to a lot of stock market websites, it's not. |

as long the difficulty and the net hashrate is rising i dont matter for the price. let the dumpers dump. when you only get 10 Coins per day with 1.5 MH, we will never see those low prices again
Exactly. The reason the price is unstable is because the people who know this coin is going go through the roof are trying to get as many as they can from weaker hands. I've seen it all before. |

Anyone who thinks this coin is anywhere near dead is insane. Look at the hashpower. Look at the development. We're one big exchange away from exploding in price.
We are at the very cusp of the next big leap, and people are quibbling over day traders trying to get as many coins as they can? The only solution to that is to buy now and stop selling. Because the only thing stopping the price from going up is the fact that we are on an exchange with such small volume. Those walls would be eaten up in seconds on Cryptsy, and the price would not come back down.

I don't think I need to remind you guys what happened last time the depth chart looked the way it does right now Could you anyway?  Sure. Went from 30 satoshis to about 492 satoshis in 12 hours. Well yes, there is that. When the dev posts the new thread with current development, I expect prices to go up further. And then continue to go up as people realise this coin has serious development going on for it. All that animal-based coins have little to show for their price. Particle has real development. |

Today I did a big mistake that lead me to sending out ~4.5mil gra to most of the addresses that mined blocks since 100000 through 130000. These coins were paid out by accident and I don't believe Bee7 should have to pay for the mistake out of own wallet. Bee7 works day and night supporting grain and this community. So this coin looks... different... I'm interested to know how miners are doing so far? What are people finding as a sweet spot for mining hash rates? I have 3Mh/s on scrypt which I believe equates to 3Gh/s on SHA-256 (I may be mistaken) is this too much/little to be effective? Other then direct coin to coin trading are there plans in the pipes for stores to encourage transfers? It is sha256. Please check first post. I mined a block within about an hour on my 333mhash block eruptor, so I know for a fact it is sha256. Where on earth are people hearing it's scrypt? In my opinion, anything under 0.005 is cheap, considering how the price will explode once it hits a big exchange.
yes yes again, at these current prices it's a steal. As I'm selling other ALTs I'm buying KDC. Yes, and the people who are selling high then buying backing low will eventually run out of luck when the price goes up and never comes back down. Don't miss the boat. Imagine selling your coins just before this was announced it was hitting Cryptsy. No way in hell am I taking that gamble. |

Back in to check that I have done the correct thing. I have not joined a pool as I can't find any. Scratch the head, oh yeah, solo setup. Here is what I have entered as the parameters for the shortcut to start minerd. C:\cryptominingd\minerd.exe -a scrypt -t 4 -s 6 -o http://127.0.0.1:9335 -O premineusername:preminepassword I see a lot of khash's going past, should I see anything else. TX fee also set at.01PMC. How did I go. Its working. You won't see "shares" when solo mining, as shares are only a mechanic used by pools. You did well. Shouldn't it be set to -a sha256, not -a scrypt? good catch The coin isn't SHA-256. It's a SCrypt coin. I'm afraid you've been misinformed. Check the first post in the thread. Where did you hear it was Scrypt? |
