2541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 10% Of Ethereum DApps Are Used On Any Given Day on: February 07, 2019, 08:54:55 PM
Currently dapps are at the very beginning. It's just the experiment. Perhaps in a few years when corporations will understand and accept the real power of dapps the real boom will happen. There are too bad adoption and community doesn't use dapps right now as well, but it will be changed with the next surge of the market.
2542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Please let's halt the Madness of Everyday New Cryptocurrency Release on: February 07, 2019, 08:49:36 PM
I am quite sure I am not the only one having this bad feeling of seeing new coins or tokens released on a daily basis.

The ICOs era is almost gone, and now some people are already promoting the relative new phenomenon of STOs just as they started with ICOs few years ago.

We don't need the random new tokens in the crypto market everyday. We already have cryptocurrencies far more than enough. If we continue to create tokens for everything, every product or every service category, it means we can have over 1,000,000 different coins or tokens by the year 2050. My question now is, who will bother purchasing another person's token when anyone can easily create his? Even with 100,000 tokens, it will be a dead end for cryptocurrency market. I am not even sure if Bitcoin itself could survive it.

The earlier we look for a way to regulate the market and halt the free release of tokens, the better for cryptocurrency's survival.

The strongest will win. It's normal thing when initially we have a lot of different species and with time only few of them survive. The market is a perfect sandbox and the community is a great judge. Everything will turn out by itself naturally. I don't think we will have and USE thousands of different cryptos in future.
2543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bull run and stability on: February 07, 2019, 08:37:03 PM
I think the most important thing for cryptocurrency right now is adoption and we are gradually getting more adoptions in many industries so if the ETF, bakkt or bitcoin halving comes it will not just have a pump effect which will later fall but rather increase the general market cap and bring about stability. So I think the next bull run will be massive and stability will come in because of the real life adoption

What is your opinion?

If BAKKT or Fidelity or any ETF comes and a huge wave of customers will decide to invest in BTC the price will be pumped as much as possible. But there is a risk that these platforms will make a paper bitcoin (just like paper gold or silver) so the price would not perform that well.
2544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smallcaps on: February 07, 2019, 08:33:19 PM
I've noticed a lot of the smallcaps I've bought earlier last year have come back in price (serenity coin is one of them - did 8x last month which I sold to break even). Anyone have any strategy as to picking the right one?

I would wait for another huge dump, caused by some panic news and begin buying coins and creating your own crypto portfolio. The good factor when thinking about picking up some smallcap project is strong, motivated team, continuing to develop their project even on such a bear market.

It sounds fine for me too. But rather than buying smallcap coins it's much better and less risky to deal only with top projects. If project too small and if it has too low volume there is a high risk not to sell them out when time comes because of lack of buyers.

2546  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: January 31, 2019, 11:29:44 AM
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks

I guess that dead alts will remain dead. There will be a lot of new projects, so what is the point to get back to dead ones? Only few of them, the most strong projects will be back from hell IMO. I mean only small cap coins, the top projects won't be defeated that much.
2547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of Blockchain and Crypto on: January 31, 2019, 11:12:04 AM
Crypto and blockchain here to stay, there is no doubt. Second layer solutions like lightning network will change bitcoin usage model a lot, make it faster and allow micro transactions. I bet on lightning network and I believe it will be a main progress maker technology in the space of crypto as a whole in upcoming years.
2548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewarding bounty hunters with EQUITY SHARES instead of tokens on: January 30, 2019, 04:11:41 PM
is this equity shares can be sold or just common equity share that give reward if there's a surplus in the company? because hunter can't gain anything if the project sudenly exit and abandoned.
most hunter wouldn't want to get paid with equity shares. you can imagine a tiny shares got divided to all participant so how much reward did we get from it.
and also hunter should comply to fill kyc for that was unfair if i would say.

I don't understand the key advantage of equity shares for bounty hunters except some kind of guarantee of project legitimacy. This is a crypto market and one of key point is anonymity, at least some kind of. Plus I won't let my documents to go to some second hands to get verified in KYC I'm not assured in.
2549  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you run a signature campaign on an external platform? on: January 30, 2019, 04:02:33 PM
Hello.
In view of more responses to our project, well our project is TeamBounty https://teambounty.com and we  are also making it possible for any project to professionally run a signature campaign and pay participants easily. Easy tracking, simple dashboard and straight forward task verification process and simple release payment structure.

My question is, will you join a campaign of such as a hunter? And as the Manager or project owner, will you rather choose to run your signature campaign on an external platform.?

Thanks for your response!

Why not? If you provide good conditions and all necessary data in transparent way I'll at least sign it up and perhaps use it. The final decision will be based on projects you will present.
2550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: January 29, 2019, 09:18:24 PM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.

Life is a global multicriterial optimization task and there is no way to avoid mistakes on our paths. Mistakes make us stronger and allow to think better. Any progress can't be reached without faults and strong personality should always keep it in mind.
2551  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The popularity of the Bittorrent token caused Binance problems on: January 29, 2019, 09:12:58 PM
God sake, it's no more than Justin Sun's insidious plan to overhype his project. We saw many of his tricks, but the most humans have too short memory. Beware of dump after the ICO. But frankly speaking this fucker has too much money to allow it. I'm outta here...
2552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Decentralized Exchanges on: January 29, 2019, 09:04:53 PM
Great work, it worth some merits for sure. You can add one more DEX based on bitshares - crypto-bridge.org. It doesn't have big volume and there are a lot of shitcoins, but still it's DEX))
2553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain Gaming and It's Future on: January 29, 2019, 08:58:55 PM
Blockchain gaming is one of the most exciting concepts for crypto world IMO. Just imagine that your character would be the same for many games, that you're able to exchange items from one game to another easily. Just like in Ready Player One movie.
2554  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: January 28, 2019, 04:28:19 PM
"Buy when there is blood in the streets" "Be greedy when others are fearful"

This is the time to buy if you want to become rich, The top coins are at bargain prices, 200 dollars for an eth, (that is an easy 5x if you hold).

I believe the whales and wall street manipulators have been keeping prices down and shaking out the noobs so they can accumulate for very cheap prices.

Yeah, you can 5x, but also you should be very patient and ready to suffer from -60% or even more dropdown, as it was with ethereum during the last significant dump in Nov 2018, when it drops to $80. Always keep in mind that there could aways be second, third and even tenth bottom at the bear market.
2555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How often do you check CoinMarketCap website? on: January 28, 2019, 04:20:38 PM
I used to check it multiple times a day during the bull market in the second half of 2017, but when I realized the real situation at February-March 2018 and convert all my funds into USD I almost forget about checking CMC for a year)) Currently when the market is around the bottom and it's time to invest my USD back to crypto I check it once-twice a day.
2556  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are ICOs really dead? on: January 28, 2019, 04:08:18 PM
After participating in several ICO project, which turned out to be scam projects. My hard earned money disappeared in to thin air, with no way to trace or recover my money back. I had to act like it never happened to get it off my mind and move on.

Are ICOs really dead and do you still invest in ICO projects?

ICO is a high risk investments and it always was so. The difference is at overall market situation. I'm sure, that it would be much better to avoid ICO now. Even if it turns out not a scam the probability of dump or any other failure is extremely high.

2558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I buy bitcoin or litecoin? on: January 27, 2019, 09:41:25 AM
Lol, guys Grin This is a thread from 2013, but it was popped up and nobody checked the first post - only thread's name. It looks very silly IMO. But I should admit that even today it's a relevant question. But let's calculate the best case ROI for BTC and LTC if investments were made in 8 Dec 2013.

BTC price was around $750, LTC - $25. The next ATH for BTC was at $19600, for LTC - $360.
So ROI for BTC is (19600-750)/750=2513%, for LTC - (360-25)/25=1340%.
Surprise! BTC ROI is almost twice more than LTC.

But we should admit that it wasn't a bottom, actually it was almost ATH back then. The real best case ROI for BTC investment made at the previous bear cycle bottom ($160) would be twice less than same LTC ROI.

Сonclusion.
The entry and exit points are extremely important.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: January 27, 2019, 09:20:19 AM
I'd like to have BTC, ETH or USDT or whatever payments on regular basis for the job I do, but there are very few campaigns that provide such kind of offer. And even if so they have a pretty low rewards. Of course we'd like to have a big salary with stablecoins, but I don't know what miracle should happen for this to become truth.
2560  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Become Immune to Scam ICOs with 5 Simple Rules on: January 27, 2019, 09:14:50 AM
Fear and greed are the main rules at any market. Concious members have their own sets of rules to follow, but unfortunately there is a huge amount of not so smart investors which base their decisions only on emotions and listen all rumors around the world.
