2541  Other / Meta / Re: Is this a forum bug? on: December 15, 2019, 06:22:40 PM
It appears that this is being blocked via a ad blocker. Are you using one? I'm unsure why this particular post is being blocked by it, but upon enabling an ad blocker the contents of the post disappear. I'll take a look at what might be causing this a little later.
This seems the reason which I encountered the same as OP on my thread which I asked here. I'm using uBlock for some reason it blocks the whole op.
2542  Other / Meta / Re: Post count issues going in forum? on: December 15, 2019, 03:16:50 PM
If you have posts or topics made on Serious discussions board same as on Ivory Tower, then that's the case since posts on that board are not counted.

- Posts in Serious Discussion only activate a potential-activity period. They do not increase your post count.

Or something like this happened. Though much better if mods can explain here as well.
Maybe you posted something in thread which has been moved to "trash can"? Technically your post still exist but it is in section you can't see, that would explain wrong numbers.
2543  Other / Meta / Re: Reflex Token paying for comment in their ANN thread on: December 15, 2019, 02:52:53 PM
Just report the ann thread of that project with the proof you have so mods will do their job since it's not allowed IMO.

Highest in 2 Years: 65% of Bitcoin Hash Power Is in China, Report Finds

For all of bitcoin’s promise of being the world’s first decentralized, peer-to-peer cryptocurrency, 65 percent of the total hash power resides in China. That's the highest in at least two years according to a recent report by CoinShares Research.

2545  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How is MetaMask as an ERC20 wallet? on: December 13, 2019, 01:02:25 PM
Is metamask even a wallet? I thought it is just an extension?
Exactly, obviously, a self-hosted wallet in a browser extension, whether in desktop or mobile devices though for eth and its compatible tokens such erc20.

(...) If I only respond to bounty posts online, Will I have any issue with my account?
It won't matter, as long as you don't break some rules here in the forum, like plagiarizing, etc. You can do all whatever you want in your account.
Also, do note that some specific board have their own rules besides on official forum rules,  especially on Altcoin (Bounties), breaking such rules would result a ban to your account.
2547  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Designers(Signature,Avatar, etc) Last Update: 08-Dec-2019 on: December 10, 2019, 01:53:03 AM
Everything is normal on my desktop (mobile also). tried in several size formats on Chrome, Opera.
The only thing what can make a problem it seems is your banner, they have fixed size. Try with and without them.
Thanks. Seems my browser has the problem, I tried another device with different resolution and it shows without a problem just my laptop.
2548  Economy / Services / Re: bitcoin mixer development on: December 10, 2019, 01:16:35 AM
Yes, the community is open for testing such website/service. All big mixers that were made such as bitmixer.io, bitblender, coinmixer, chipmixer were tested and reviewed by the community.

You can post your thread on Services board or just open your official ANN thread on Service Announcements board.

Here's a mixer which was previously (a week ago) opened for reviews.
2549  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 09, 2019, 11:06:01 PM
Para sa iba dyan, have you ever tried using PayMaya? Kamusta naman ang Cash Out dito? How much is the fee for withdrawal on an ATM? Ok din sana kung ang mga bank transfer ay hindi umaabot ng 11:59 PM para lang mareceive LoL.
Okay naman, never tried through pesonet yet pero instant pag sa instapay.
Sa atm withdrawal? Never tried sa paymaya since wala akong atm card sa kanila. What I do is send ko nalang to gcash ko, instant walang fee. Then withdraw ko using gcash mastercard.

Halos 1 week na din walang Cash Out Option tru GCash, gaano pa kaya katagal ang gugugulin nito?
Ito ang di ko masasagot.
2550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 09, 2019, 10:50:16 PM
hi guys
one of my friends want to send me 30000$ bitcoin from america california with easybit bitcoin atm
but he  says you should send 700$ to atm bitcoin wallet to confirm transaction!
is there anything like this in usa ?
I wonder, how can you call him a friend after all he's a scammer. And there's no atm that work like that not even in USA or anywhere in the world.

So don't waste your time and funds to someone like that, and you should start reading some articles on how bitcoin works.

And one thing for sure, once it's a too good to be true offer here in crypto-world it's obviously a scam.
2551  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [TUT] How to withdraw your Bitcoins in 1 minute? NEW UPDATES via COINSPH on: December 09, 2019, 03:44:56 AM
Tanong ko lang kung yang card na yan ay considered ba na bank account ko na rin? Pwede ko ba siyang lagyan ng pera coming from my other bank accounts?
I guess, but not as as bank account, pero pwede siyang ma gamit as for payment even online shopping at withdraw sa mga ATM na supported ang visa or banknet din ata like what other atm cards do.
I'm not sure kung pwede siya magamit pag send to other bank accounts, if may mobile banking siya, then I guess pwede through instapay or pesonet kung implemented.. Pero I'm sure na pwede siya ma ka receive ng funds from other banks or payment gateway na uma accept ng DBP card or VISA card.

And I suggest iwasan natin mag upload ng any card info online, if ever man try to cover most of the numbers ng atm card mo.
2552  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: [blockchain.com] Is it really secure ? on: December 08, 2019, 11:52:24 PM
It's very secure but if you hold big number of bitcoins go for trezor to access that you will nee to buy their device though.
Can't say that its very secure as it was hacked few times. And there's nothing very secure when using any kind of web wallet. A desktop wallet with malware free device is safer. And hardware wallet as most of the above suggestions.

Only use web wallet for small amount of crypto for spending it online.
2553  Economy / Marketplace / Re: What’s Stopping Crypto Markets from Entering the Mainstream on: December 08, 2019, 11:44:39 PM
While cryptocurrency is still new to others since more people  still don't know what cryptocurrency and bitcoin is. And still too many naive people on this industry being scammed by some random fella in social media sites. And the fact that most government are against crypto, bitcoin and/or cryptocurrency will still be the same without the approval and regulations of most government.
2554  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 08, 2019, 11:27:32 PM
Where do you resides? I'm sure there are local exchanges for every crypto-friendly countries not unless you're came from those crypto-strict countries such as vietnam, india, russia, and etc.
For using exchanges (such as coinbase, localbitcoins.com, localcryptos.com, Bisq, Paxful, kraken, etc. ), the most annoying part is you have to proceed their kyc verification before you can buy BTC.
2555  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: December 08, 2019, 07:15:19 PM
Its either between sa path ng gcash, coins.ph and instapay yung may issue. Kase na kakapag cashout ako from paymaya to gcash and coins.ph to paymaya powered by instapay yung pag send.
2556  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitify - "Error establishing a database connection" on: December 08, 2019, 06:31:28 PM
It working as for men and looks like their already up and running. So it might just a technical problem on their side.
Go on and check it.
2557  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Fake Tron Giveway on: December 08, 2019, 06:06:02 PM
The website is an outright scam not even a Ponzi scheme, all the transactions generated and shown on the website are non-existing on the Tron network. https://tronscan.org/#/address/TEzsAXUA2fc8BxeZzcqKFUDgzQG4eP9q52/transfers So, you'll definitely lose your coin if you send it to them.
Whether the transactions are existing on the tron network, anyone can't deny that the offers on that website are obvious scam.

Waiting if there are still people who want to use and get hooked with this offer even it's an obvious scam.
2558  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Genesistrade - Ponzi scheme on: December 08, 2019, 05:45:47 PM
Domain name was purchased / transferred recently . Gives an impression that it's an aged site via general whois checks
Okay, that makes sense.

Don't want to publicly state the tool name here but if you'd want i could pm you.
What a smooth transition, nevermind, don't need that though.
2559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin's giving away 5,000 TRX to one lucky winner! on: December 08, 2019, 05:38:01 PM
5000 Trx is a small amount, I remember that Justin Sun previously gave a Tesla electric car to the lucky one. Did anyone get that car or if it was just another promotion from him.
Yes he did, though not a tesla car but Tron token worth the tesla car if I'm not mistaken. Okay found this, given $28k, base on the winner's tweet.

And ive been see many advertisement doing the same thing  instead of making a campaign and pay every participants they decided to use the giveaway and give only 1-3 persons can win the contest. This is good and a cheapest way of advertisement.
And still, many clicks this kind of ads so, giving giveaways are way more effective for such than paying each since the aim for this giveaway is to get more followers for the twitter handle of tron news
2560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin addresses hits an all time high! on: December 08, 2019, 05:28:12 PM
Is this evidence of Bitcoin going mainstream?
Would an ATH in addresses lead to a new ATH in the price?
There's no correlation between them and the bitcoin price, and bitcoin adoption. Every user has made thousands of addresses

Maybe these empty BTC address will soon be filled with BTC also. I heard that when you do an transaction, the btc address will have a high possibility that it can be hacked thru quantum computer due to the exposure of the public key when making transaction.

You're reading too much fantasy stories. Bitcoin cracking with quantum is not even possible as of now even the one google built as of todate.
