Posting just your address without signing a message won't benefit you. You need to sign a message with that address to prove it's yours.
1702  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBtc KYC issue on: August 02, 2020, 09:14:43 PM
I wonder if you have your research first before sending funds on that exchange, there are lots of open scam accusations against them as for you know.

ID is composed of details only for the name, id number, address, birth date, created/expiry date, and the country where it released, even if you don't translate those details it's easy to know what is what, asking those translated details doesn't make any sense. Geez, this exchange is really sh*t.
1703  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CryptoLeaders.top - SEO friendly websites directory (+free vouchers) on: August 02, 2020, 08:46:49 PM
Generally, what is the number of visits and interactions on your site? Is it worth paying for it?
The site has no data on similarweb and lack of info on alexa that means thd ite doesn't have enough traffic in able this analytics website capture those.

Also, website directories are not good for SEO and it's not a good way to build links, better to have a nofollow on the advertised/listed anchor links.
1704  Other / Meta / Re: Is this a sign of I have posted in that topic on: August 02, 2020, 08:31:20 PM
Yes, you can find more on smf help page.

1705  Economy / Services / Re: [LOGO CONTEST] In need of a LOGO on: August 02, 2020, 08:11:32 PM
Hey there!

I'm looking for a logo designer to design a logo for me.
Compensation would be $25 (can be escrowed)
You must have your portfolio to show.

Thanks.
Logo contest for $25? Does designing/creating a logo is easy for you? and does it really okay for you a 25 worth of logo that will represents your brand?

You can hire someone for such amount but don't expect of the output that much though.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone in the Bitcoin ATM business? on: August 02, 2020, 08:07:49 PM
That's a good business for countries such US and even those on europe that have lots of people who use bitcoin, while fewer on asia and its not good to run such business.

And due to some COVID rules/law and its effect bitcoin atm growth grow fast in some countries.
1707  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-08-01] How the FBI tracked down the Twitter hackers on: August 02, 2020, 07:47:35 PM
I was really amazed at how these kids able to do the hacking using some social engineering methods but in the end, such a good laugh for how one of them used the same email address to register on a centralized exchange and they used on their illegal activity. By their move, they even don't know that such a bitcoin mixer exists.
1708  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Advertising for GPT/PTC site on: August 02, 2020, 07:30:11 PM
I'm not familiar crypto-related ad network work that offers time campaign, what I know is some large crypto media website offers such offer, you can check cryptoslate, blockonomi and coinspeaker though what I know his is only for display ads.
1709  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Nauusong "easy-money" on: August 02, 2020, 06:31:45 PM
Good read, at yeah, its pyramiding scheme.

1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain confirmations on: August 02, 2020, 05:33:28 PM
[...]
Just create your own thread promoting that url not here.

I know, but what i mean, is to know few minutes before first confirmation that this tx is just being mined Smiley
There's no way you can know that info, its a competition between thousands of miners, and there's no data for what/who's miner is about to win, the recorded data is just the winner which always labeled in every mined block.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan's Dormant accounts waking up finally on: August 02, 2020, 04:21:05 AM
Those owners of dormant accounts are "waking up" only to sell the Bitcoins and take the profits.
Maybe a part of them will buy some Bitcoins,or maybe altcoins, but it's all about selling. This will have an impact over the Bitcoin price and it will push the bulls down and stop the rally.
Well, every rally wouldn't stop if someone's selling, each sells there's' always a counterpart to that, someone's buying it. And we just hit reach 12k, who knows it will take soar higher than this for the next days and months.
1712  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Warning: SEC issued a warning against FORSAGE! on: August 01, 2020, 09:38:09 PM
Napaka dami sa mga kaibigan ko at kakilala na gumagamit ng forsage at lagi ko sinasabi sa kanila na isa itong scam ngunit paniwalang paniwala padin sila sa ganito
Kase may nakikita silang may kumikita dyan, kaya legit daw. Mahirap kase pag sabihan mga tao na masyadong naniniwala sa mga ganyang scheme kase pera yan, lalo na nakapag bigay/deposit na sila, mostly pag sinabihan mo ikaw pa masama. Haha.
1714  Economy / Services / Re: Escrow Service of Bl4nkcode [Active] on: August 01, 2020, 09:09:28 PM
Just used Bl4nkcode's escrow services to purchase a Telegram account. Fast and easy. Highly recommended.
Thanks for the kind words and recommendations. Smiley
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction was faster than a Bank transfer today (for me) on: August 01, 2020, 12:29:52 PM
Transferring local to local banks here is more like an instant using the bank's mobile app with the use of instapay, and it's free of charge so nothing for us to worry.

But in terms of intl transfer, it's a long wait, I'd tried to receive from an intl transfer US to PH bank account last week and it takes 3 days before it arrives.
Then I just have traded with a US person using bitcoin today, less than 15 minutes it got a confirmation and that's how bitcoin transfer is way better for cross border payments/transfers without giving my personal information such as my real name.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hacker Arrested! on: July 31, 2020, 07:37:15 PM
I hope he will make a deal and help the United States win the war against China.
Social engineering can't do anything related to war (cyber) imo.

By the way, he may ask to soften his sentence for what he just asked people for bitcoins, and did not arrange a global terror.
I guess that's not all about the "bitcoin asking/scamming" of this kid but hacking twitter which is against their rules and policies.
1717  Economy / Services / Re: Looking to hire someone 600 usd a month on: July 30, 2020, 09:40:52 AM
Sounds interesting. Why not explain more for what job/offer is this all about?
1718  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BULL RUN on: July 29, 2020, 03:56:08 PM
Nothing huge happens before we got reached 11k, so probably the work of the supply and demand with the matching pair made the last halving. Or maybe we can include the announcement of the Washington DC federal court.
1719  Other / Meta / Re: Huge donations to bitcointalk on: July 28, 2020, 03:03:45 PM
Forum software??
Well, I guess it's for the new development software of the forum, Epochtalk, not smf.

Mods?? [...] I haven't heard any other mod to get paid.
Now you did.

Look at the quoted post of theymos above for the expenses paid to mods.
Code:
2017
Income: $996,494 + $6257 donations
Expenses - Forum software project: $246,138
Expenses - Mods and others: $261,433
Expenses - Hosting etc: $49,726

2018
Income: $473,247 + $479 donations
Expenses - Forum software project: $272,250
Expenses - Mods and others: $204,547
Expenses - Hosting etc: $43,907

Tax is not included for 2017. Because bitcointalk.org is tax-wise a disregarded entity, it's difficult for me to calculate the tax costs attributable to forum activities. I'll do it some other day.
1720  Other / Meta / Re: Huge donations to bitcointalk on: July 28, 2020, 02:15:32 PM
How is that happening??
What kind of question is that? Of course, it's a donation address, anyone with good hearts can donate, it's not that anyone is asked to donate mandatorily.

Do admin(s) use it instead of donating?
As a forum and a website, obviously, donations were/will be used for the hosting, domain and other website expenses. Idk if the payments of mods came from there as well.
