I thought GPU mining was a thing of the past. Well that shows me. Try under clocking your cards so the don't run so hot. Also look at your fans. Are they the largest you can get. And don't have three sucking air and three blowing it out. Two intake to three out would create better cooling I believe. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Haa ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Have you been living under a rock? Never heard of any cryptonight coins hard- forking to be ASIC resistant? ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) @Levieth02ng I can recommend box fans like this one: https://www.amazon.com/Lasko-3733-20-Fan-Box/dp/B00002ND67

I hope he is fine. But always remember: It is just money! Don't check the chart daily and come back in a year!

The media manipulated us to hodl! “Big money’s coming” meanwhile they dump there load all over us!
You can trust the media, but not completely and if you are not sure maybe you can analyze the news so you will not get stuck. For now forget them, focus on your work and always fold your assets while opportunities are still there. Wow, you are really funny dude. Yes, you can really trust the media ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) please always mark sarcasm. I hope that's not your real opinion ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

take a look at REMME! cybercrime costs the economy lot of money annually (around $400 billion) because of weak or stolen passwords. REMME builds a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to prevent businesses from cybercrime!

At the moment Proof of Work is the way to go. PoS has lots of issues that need to be solved first like the Nothing-at-Stake and LongRange-Attack issues!

Just use MEW with a hardware wallet like a Ledger Nano or Trezor and your private key will never leave these devices!
Keystore file is NOT the recommended method to use MEW!!

I think ASIC's will gradually displace mining on graphics cards as the graphics card pushed out of the market mining on CPUs. Many coin makers do not want to change the mining algorithm of their cryptocurrency.
I don't think so. If a Device will displace GPUs it will be FPGAs and not ASICs. You can always fork away from ASICs ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

This table doesn't make very much sense. The difficulty and the pool hashrates are always changing, so also the Profitability and Payback change regularly. Showing the hashrate also makes no sense because you compare different algos ...

Before trading we should get to know ourselves, our characters, and the time we have. I prefer to trade with a long period of time, 1 week or 1 month. My reason is, because I can not directly monitor the price movement every hour, in addition to trading many other activities I work on. Then I also find it very difficult to read price movements in small time frames (1 hour and 15 minutes).
A week/month is definitely not Long- term. I talk about years. And yes, I am in for the Long Run ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Yes because a large amount of projects are scam. And the bounties of those projects of course too ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Just research the project before you join their bounty ...
|
|
|
If the project doesn't reach the softcap, then 'YES' - it was a waste of time. But in general I like Bounty campaigns, especially Signature campaigns.
Nowadays it can be hard to find solid projects which will be a success.

I prefer mining. Nice passive income. Also funny hobby ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) And if you are ready when a new projects goes live you can make nice profits in the first week!

PRL is a gem. It is the only coin/token available that is pegged to something in a decentralized and trustless way.

Not sure why, but the bitcoin address that I am to pay to is unused. (Checked with block explorer - There are no transactions involving this address.) Is it like that for everyone else? What is the purpose of individual addresses for each order? I know... low post count means I am an idiotnew...lol. Please explain. (attempts to hold back crowd with torches and pitchforks)

I wouldn't buy anything here. There is no proof that this device even exists. could just be another scam.

Dude you really write very necessary and understandable things. I like what you say. This should help a very large number of people not fall into the trap. Respect!
thanks. just want to keep newbies away from getting scammed. Way too much scam around in the crypro scene these days.

Well you are about 9 years too late but you can still start now.
However keep in mind you got crazy competition against you. So crazy that in the last year alone, it was very difficult acquiring GPUs at MSRP even. eBay and Craigslist were selling GPUs that are 2x of what they were worth about a year ago.
Also you need to have competative electricity rates, if you are paying $0.20+ or more per kilowatt of power then you will have a hard time getting your investment back and are just better off buying the coins and holding for the future.
9 years ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) wtf We are in the Altcoin Section here. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) And yes it is still profitable. Don't believe the guys, who just check whattomine and never mined anything.

If I were you I would ONLY buy ETH!! Why should anyone want to buy Tron? For me it is a hyped shitcoin ...

Merited this. Will be a lot of help for those who are starting here to avoid being scammed or phising sites.
thanks! I also use metamask. To avoid phishing sites.
I also used metamask, but give the extension from my first post a try - way better ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif) But still you can receive email or message with the link to a phising site. And I do not understand that people are still clicking on these links in emails.
That's the point where the extension gives alarm. Maybe I will also add a section about phishing mails
