And in most cases, the ''utility'' is only for the access to a future product or service.
So yes, most of them probably become useless over time.

In most cases you can then buy at a fraction of the ICO price.

Es muss zur Wiederherstellung auch nicht zwangsläufig ein Ledger Nano verwendet werden.
Du kannst jedes Wallet verwenden, welches ebenfalls den BIP39/BIP44 Standard für den Recovery Seed unterstützt.
Das kann z.B. ein Trezor Wallet sein, funktioniert aber meines Wissens aber auch mit Electrum.

At the moment I know quite a few projects that had originally planned an ICO, but are now switching to an IEO.
But if you don't land cooperation with a large exchange with a lot of volume, the chances of success are pretty limited.

- für ein ICO gibt es keinen Termin im Moment, glaub es ist noch unklar ob überhaupt eines stattfindet.
- IEO startet am 15. März
- die Exchange an der das Event stattfindet wird erst bekanntgegeben.
- HC $ 25 Mio , 7 davon im private sale eingenommen.

A LOT OF ICOs are garbage, that's right, but definitely not ALL.
As others have already said, in the cmc Top 100 you will also find many projects that started with an ICO.
ICOs are still a common way to raise funds. Don't think that's gonna change in the near future.
