2581  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Upcoming release of funds to its creditors vs Btc Price on: August 22, 2022, 12:49:15 PM
Not a huge dip though but there will be some changes in the price for sure because those people will not gonna be 100% holding their BTC anymore. But this is actually good news it's been really a long long time since they have this kind of promise and this time they will get their BTC for sure. I'm not really sure if the other owners are still alive though. nevertheless, it's really best to hear such news after a long period of waiting.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: August 22, 2022, 12:02:38 PM

Strong? It's rather a thing of being responsible. Would you call strong someone who made their family fall into debt, but did not give up? Maybe there was some strength involved but the dominant problem was childish, irresponsible behavior of a gambler who gambles with a loan he cannot repay.
I really hope those sleepless nights will teach you something.

Rather foolish I guess, we have sometimes done some things that we thought are really good for ourselves and others, but in reality, it becomes something bad and not praise-worthy and we begin to realize it as soon as we clearly see things when the actual problem occurs. When this happens, the strong person is he who will gonna make it right no matter how much embarrassment he could get just to change himself for good. Not many people can do this stuff and most of them are just strong to face the reality and begin to change themselves to be praise-worthy people.
2583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If bitcoin becomes generally adopted, will 21million btc be enough for everyone? on: August 22, 2022, 10:42:28 AM
We won't really need them all to make transactions, we already found a way to fix that problem because as of now, there are lots of cryptocurrencies that are close to bitcoin and they can be added as the main crypto adopted as well. But unfortunately, most of them are centralized and don't have the bitcoin traits which make it unique to become a candidate for total adoption all around the world to be one of their official currencies.
2584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: August 22, 2022, 04:10:29 AM
Yes, everything was very strange. After the fight, I reckon before the decision, everyone can see in Joshua's face that he knew that it was a loss for him already. However, after hearing that one of the judges gave the win to him, I speculate this was where his behavior began to change.

He also delivered a speech with a cheer in the ending. This made him appear that he needs to talk to a mental health professional hehehe.

I already thought the same just before they read the score card but the problem is, Joshua made a fuss about it when he heard the scores and thought he might gonna make some changes if he do something crazy in that place. they better not do something like that because this is not the usual place they are fighting and they might not get another chance to fight there when they cannot control their emotions at all.

He is doing the Khabeeb thing after the fight but the problem is he lost and he drags himself to more embarrassment.

2585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to layer 2 networks? on: August 22, 2022, 02:44:21 AM
Eth merge is happening and soon we may see a super low transaction fees for eth transactions, the question is what will happen to layer 2 projects like arbitrum and optimism? They doing really great in scaling Ethereum with swap fees no more than 0.2$ but the question is if will keep existing in the future

They can just adjust their platform to something that the people can use or overhaul it to some kind of innovative platform in order for them not to die just like that but with the Ethereum update, they tend to lose their business and be forced to do something different if they wanted to join the project as usual. Though they are helping to give people convenience these days, changes are fast to occur in crypto industry and I'm sure they already have a plan B.
2586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Haney vs Kambosos II (Undisputed) on: August 21, 2022, 03:20:41 PM
There is still enough time before the date of the fight, so with good promotion and hype around the rematch, it will be possible to attract a significant number of fans from both Haney and Kambosos, who has a large audience in Australia.

Their fight was not that bad and I'm sure the fans will not miss this one either because you don't see such kind of fight often these days. Because after winning a championship, they mostly go for other boxers not giving their last opponent some rematch to have a chance to regain his honor. The result might be the same as the last one but still, a chance like this could be his chance to further improve his skill because he already knows how his opponent moves and he can actually test some skills and test his new power punches as well.
2587  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transfer through Cell Phones Possible ? on: August 21, 2022, 01:33:04 PM
Correct me if I’m wrong but this kind of Bitcoin transaction is just like an IOU since it’s not recorded on blockchain. I’m not totally familiar on this kind of method but I preferred transaction being recorded on blockchain to be valid for my personal preference. I believe this kind of transaction are prone to fraud and scam because it can be easily use to persuade person that has no knowledge on this kind of transaction.

When you say prone to fraud, I really believe that could happen because right now in some countries in the world they don't link the phone numbers to its owner so anyone can fake their identity and claim whoever they want and they can just scam people with their innovative techniques which are really confusing to others. Though this kind of transaction is not totally worthless, it really requires some guides for the people who use it will prevent themselves from getting scammed. right now, I just prefer the usual transactions we are doing so far because for me it is the safest.
2588  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is United States on the verge of a civil war? on: August 21, 2022, 12:48:22 PM
There's no country in this world who are good at causing a problem for other countries than the USA because they wanted for their country to be free from American Soldiers just like what we have seen with Afghanistan. For them to cause in their own country, that would not possible because they already mastered how it will begin and they already prevented it. Just like what Trump said, they caused the civil war in Iraq and Libya.
2589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 21, 2022, 12:03:42 PM
What do you guys think of the Denovan Mitchell trade? does he really that expensive? for the jazz to want multiple players and some first-round picks to trade him?

https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2022/08/knicks-still-cautious-about-dealing-draft-assets-for-donovan-mitchell.html

You can read here about the Knicks' decision on how they are cautious on this one because this is really not a joke and their future is at stake. If Mitchell will messed up, regarding his health, it's really hard to recover from it.
2590  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME on: August 21, 2022, 11:44:29 AM
Rushing to get what they want is a nature of humankind that you can never deny and only a few of them are patient at the time when things are not going their way. In that case, crypto investment is not for them if they wanted to make profit as soon as possible because the crypto is not like that and if they want a proof, they can just see the history of altcoin miners where they started with nothing and just patiently holding the coins of their choice until it raises their price for them to sold it and earned some decent amount of income. This is how it works, it requires some wait and not some overnight changes.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 19, 2022, 02:03:18 PM
Man! I thought I never see him again since he really get home to depend on his country and there was a tendency that he might not return to boxing again. But wow! look at this he will gonna have a fight again. This is another good fight this year since Loma is undoubted will gonna give the spectators some real boxing match here. Ortiz also is a strong opponent and it would be a real challenge for Loma to get back on track.
2592  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 19, 2022, 12:59:06 PM
We all find it hard to move on from a project that did incredibly well, many are still buying Shiba inu today because they believe it can do another 1000% gain in future but the reality is I don't see how anymore, don't get me wrong, Shiba will still be a profitable investment but what I have learnt so far about making the biggest gain in crypto is becoming one of the earliest investors, before the project get popular you should be in, that's when you should be expecting 100x - 300x.

Because of its current popularity and constant development, people now have to increase their trust in that project and they will continue to invest as long as they have got the updates they want to see from its developers. this is how it should be for the cryptocurrencies out there where they will really focus on developing their project to further improve and catch up to the fast-growing crypto industry. because if you don't update nor develop some innovative platform that could make your investors stay, your project will dead as with your coins together in the years to come.
2593  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Turn Down Your Old Friend on: August 18, 2022, 03:41:25 PM
This actually happened to me but in my case, it was not gambling but some kind of work that I cannot do anymore. What I did was, I accompany him to do some stuff that was good for him and constantly reminded him about the day we were good friends even when we don't do such work and he finally realized that I cannot join him anymore when going to that place and he respects my decision without having any hard feeling about me. Sometimes you can't be direct to the people when things got rough, you need some strategy to make them understand your side of the story.
2594  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a Bitcoin believer on: August 18, 2022, 07:21:23 AM
First of all, Hello! it was nice to read your story and I agree about it when you called the altcoins copycat, it's really true and lots of them don't really have any good agenda for the future rather they've just been created to join the hype and mostly they are just some pump and dump coins that are created to scam people. Just like for example the LUNA coin where became one of the biggest scam altcoins in history. lots of people lose their money just like that. You won't find this kind of story with bitcoins, because if you check its history, it always recovers no matter how hard it hits the floor.
2595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Billions burning rate on: August 18, 2022, 06:37:15 AM
What do you think about Shiba inu billions of tokens getting burned from time to time? How do you think this will affect the price in the few years to come? Do you think believe that Shiba could kill two zeros in the next bull market? .

Well, of course, that's the obligation to make the price increase in the future because the more they burn their tokens, the more likely the price increase with the constant development of their platforms and some updates that would trigger the price to increase. They have been doing it for a while now because they wanted to secure their investor's potential to further trust them on what they are gonna do with their project. With this tight competition in the crypto market, every project should not delay its development if they don't want to get left behind.
2596  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: RUIZ VS ORTIZ SUN, SEP 04, 2022 10PM ET EASTERN TIME/ on: August 18, 2022, 05:52:03 AM

2-3 years ago probably but now, we can just anticipate the fight to rely on how fat can Ruiz be in the fight. He definitely was fast when he fought with AJ. The bookmakers rarely carry out inaccurate odds if they perceive Ruiz to win, it will happen. If anything goes wrong like suddenly Ruiz is defeated by KO, the promoter and even his team will doubt him from then on. It will be a career ender.

The fight is getting closer and he really needs to win this fight in order to continue his career. Since his opponent is a power puncher, he cannot just rush to end the fight in the early rounds he needs to exhaust his opponent throughout the rounds and patiently wait for the right timing to unleash some power punches. He really had a surprising win when he won that heavyweight title and I'm sure he can still do the same in this fight, he just needs to lessen the pressure on himself.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc crime on: August 18, 2022, 05:23:02 AM
This is the problem with some of these people, as soon as they see the word bitcoin, they rush to conclude it's all bitcoins fault whereas, in reality, bitcoin is only a victim too with this kind of crime. They are the same with the mainstream media that are hostile when it comes to cryptocurrency, they will put in the headline some bad title about bitcoins and when you read the full news bitcoin has really nothing to do with it.
2598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 17, 2022, 11:23:34 AM

Same here, if I would choose, I like Bradley Beal as he is more clutch compared to Mitchelle who is also a superstar. If a Jazz - Wizards trade would happen, I guess that's more fair as both teams will received a new superstar, and I believe that with Beal, Jazz will improve.

Mitchel was really pissed off when they were losing in the playoffs and it seems like he doesn't really fit with the team and he has the chance to continue his journey on the other team with new teammates. If he can find himself traded to the Wizards that would be a nice new beginning for him. he can really do something new where he will have the chance to prove everyone that he can actually make it to the NBA playoffs no matter where he is or if he is lucky enough, he can have some good team mates out there as well to help him win a championship. Anything can happen in this league, as long as you are playing like superstars, your chance is also higher than the others.
2599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance want the best for crypto space on: August 17, 2022, 10:39:58 AM
Basically it's very easy to trace where the money goes as long as the hacker was stupid enough to not use the mixer. The problem is once it was using mixer and it will be so hard to detect the fund. I saw that if it was a good thing for all of people who got affected from the curve finance users but the team must also help binance to reimburse the rest lol. It seems like that team fully rely with binance on this case. I have very big respect for binance.

Of course, they have this innovative feature that their investors can really rely on. Imagine getting hacked in the other exchanges without this option? Your crypto will lose forever without any assurance to recover it. while Binance has its own way to recover your funds which is kinda absolutely good for the investors. I never thought I'm gonna see them again using this feature because I was really sure that they update their system for the first time. Maybe the hackers are also updating their strategy these years and they attack once again this time.
2600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Houston Texans become 1st NFL team to accept crypto for ticket sales on: August 17, 2022, 10:00:32 AM
This is a goodnews seing the massive adoption over the football sports and their activities, but which of the cryptocurrency was mentioned to be their major coin of acceptance, even though i know that bitcoin being the most recognized amd valuable digital currency eill be among the enlisted coins among other fews, accepting payment in cryptocurrency is an added advantage on both the spectators and the organizers because no one will find a barrier in through the payment process.

This is more happening in the sports industry right now because of more money they can really gather if they implement such options in their platforms no matter what kind of sports it is. I am shocked that they are the first team to do it and when this will give them good results, I'm sure the other teams will also follow what they did. a lot has already happened with the cryptocurrencies and I'm pretty sure they already know how to take advantage with it in the sport industries.
