1901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 17, 2023, 05:59:43 AM
I think whales are just gambling on these once popular and top coins since they've been like 99% down already so it's easier to create huge buy volume. It's not surprising if they bounce once the retail investors or casuals starts riding the hype. They will look for that next heavily dumped coin or token and repeat the process.

That's why it's even scary to invest in those once-failed coins because clearly there is no future with them when the whales will decide to dump their coins one after another. Things like this should be clearly not recommendable to do because those whales are used to doing this kind of stuff and they surely know what they're doing most importantly, they don't really care when they lose their money when they gamble like this because they are multi-millionaires and the things you need to worry is your money because the price will crash, there will be no turning back to recover it again.
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof of stake is bad and why bitcoin is the only crypto I would trust on: January 16, 2023, 11:41:05 AM
If only these people didn't create their own coins and just continue to use bitcoins and support it or make some development to improve its transactions, we would have not suffered any losses in the market but the way they counter the popularity and the spread of its implementation, they create huge numbers of altcoins which ruin the idea why bitcoin has been created and now their true motive has appeared and they only added problem than working solutions to counter the bank's manipulations of our money. If only Satoshi Nakamoto showed himself and clarify all the doubts pertaining to the control of bitcoins, it could change the course of crypto history and I'm pretty sure it will be a good result if he really intends it and he is truthful about what he says in his whitepaper.
1903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What makes Countries More Powerful Than Others on: January 16, 2023, 09:39:54 AM
When you say power, it consists of three things, the number of military, wealth, and weaponry. We see that wealthy countries like Brunei are untouchable because of their wealth and they don't really need to build their nuclear base because the other countries that have some weapon of mass destruction are offering them protection. I mean, countries that have some more powerful weapons are also in need of other wealthy countries to support them and that's how it goes. I may say the most powerful country in today's era is no other than China because they have all of those traits and they don't need any country to protect them in case they will declare war.

Umar Nurmagomedov crazy knockout win, and as usual, those fast kicks to set it up, I was wrong in betting it to go to the ground and win via submission, and this is the 1st time Umar knocked someone and it was against an unknockable opponent Raoni Barcelo, so I think Umar Nurmagomedov can accent to be champion someday,

What a shocking performance from him because these guys are known to beat their opponents via submission and surprisingly he just knocked out his opponent in the first round not only then his opponent was not known to be an easy guy he hasn't been knockout like this in his career before. I guess it was just an unexpected turn of events against Raoni Barcelos because he wasn't aware of his opponent's huge power and caught him by surprise. That was just a random and amazing win for him, they are now really improving well because fans are bored to see them win every fight by submission and now they are changing their courses.
1905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 16, 2023, 08:07:32 AM
I would not even dare to bet on Miss Universe events. At least, in sport betting there is some logic and analysis behind the choice on where to put your money.
The winner of these beauty contests are very relative to the thoughts and appreciations of the judges, not even mentioning that there could be some agenda or even unknown influences going on unbeknownst to us.  Roll Eyes

Nowadays, they take advantage of everything that is broadcast on TV to make a gamble out of it but this is how the norm for gamblers and their mindsets. When things like this become popular in the future, I'm sure it will be rigged and they will gonna make some money out of it. This kind of trend is currently popular right now, last time I saw some threads pertaining to the bets for the presidential candidates. I wonder where this kind of strangeness will bring them, they just keep adding to the table to give the people varieties of choices to gamble with their money.
1906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 16, 2023, 07:40:30 AM
Though I voted in the poll I'm still holding strong, I have sold some during the time of the Pandemic and continue to buy right now little by little to get back what I have sold and also to continue to support the bitcoin market. right now, the right thing to do is to keep holding on until we recover from this bloody crypto market situation and to decide later when the market finally recovers if we want to sell some of our bitcoins to taste the sweetness of holding BTC. We really need to be strong in this kind of situation and continue to preserve ourselves to get tempted even though the market is currently not looking good.
1907  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 16, 2023, 06:23:43 AM
What about a step-back three for the win from NIKOLA JOKIC?

Man! this guy is really something and the only missing from him is a championship ring, hope he gets it soon because no doubt he really deserves one.

Video

I think the Nuggets will be the next team to enter the NBA finals if they will remain healthy throughout the season, they cannot spoil this one because such kinds of season performances cannot be assumed to be the same next year, they really need to do something this year to stop their traditional playoff knockouts.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana takes back top 10 position on: January 16, 2023, 05:55:18 AM
Solana and polygon Matic have been fighting for that 10th position for some time11 now.. as of the time of this reply Polygon Matic is top 10 bringing down Solana 11 position. Both coins are of two great blockchains but I believe polygon have lot's of demand more than the Solana.

Those projects are both active and they need to keep it up because the competitions in their category are tight and if they slack off, another one will take their place. It has been a trend in the past that these two projects will be more likely to become the next BNB or ETH but as we can see, they are far from it and they really need to work to continue updates and develop their platform. Especially in this time of the crypto season when investors are losing hope in the other coins because of their lack of activities they need to take advantage of the current situation to attract more investors this year to further improve their projects.
1909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 15, 2023, 02:55:01 PM
I can't believe, Clarkson is again playing like an all star, he scored 38 points against the 76ers. But it's just unfortunate that they lose the game, but it's a 1 point lose only. The level of accuracy and the high level of confidence, that's what Clarkson is now, I believe the management are really pressured because they cannot give the demand of Clarkson, but they want him to stay.

That's why he wants to prove to everyone that he can tank a team with only himself but that's obviously not enough and they are falling behind like they are not gonna make it to the playoffs this year. That's why we are hearing rumors that he is not really interested anymore in playing in Utah and probably might gonna consider playing in San Antonio Spurs because he reportedly bought a mansion there. I don't know if it it's true but he probably considering taking another road if he wants to win a championship.

1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How do you feel about market recovery on: January 15, 2023, 01:44:16 PM
You can consider buying right now but you need to be careful in choosing the right coins to buy because other coins won't recover when the crypto market will back to normal. Others will undoubtedly recover because their developers are actively updating their platforms for example Binance and the like of it. If you want to sacrifice some money that you can afford to lose, you can go for the latest altcoins that have some active developers that are really true to their project by showing themselves to the public and not hiding their faces to avoid their investors when things will not go as planned or they failed to accumulate the right amount of money to support the project. There are lots out there you can choose from and the least you can do is try to do some quick research before releasing any money.
1911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2023, 12:35:54 PM

Yeah, I like Inoue vs Allem fight, Allem is not that bad, rank number 4 by WBC and IBF, so this is going to be a good test for Inoue, sort of welcoming fight for him in 122 lbs.

He really needs that fight to get used to his new weight division and if he will have no problem beating his opponent, then dominating this division will be an easy job for him. He really works hard to unify all the major belts in his prime and now he is still in good shape to also push forward to create a history for himself that would be another long quest for him until he also becomes a unified champion here. Casimero should really work to get him at this point if he wants to get an opportunity to prove himself against Inoue or else he will retire from boxing thinking about what might gonna happen if they were given chance to fight against each other.
1912  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 15, 2023, 12:06:45 PM
You can spend some spare money and buy a little amount of bitcoins whenever you have already spent your money on your essential needs. in this way, you can support bitcoins and also minimize the risk of being a failed investor because you are aiming to hold it for a long time. This is the safest method you can follow because others are extreme and they even take a long to buy some bitcoins others go overboard where they sold their house just to join the trend of holding bitcoins. Yes! they might become the luckiest men alive when the price will spike shorter than they expected. but it's better safe than sorry to make things easy for you while you live your life to the fullest.
1913  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 13, 2023, 03:28:19 PM
.

Maybe 1-2 fights with an impressive win by Casimero is enough fuel to boost his rankings to at least Top 3. I also hope that there will be no more shit that will happen to Casimero as this will be his last chance to build his name and climb to the top.

He's turning 34 next month so every fight counts.

Poor Casimero he really needs to find a serious opponent that will gonna fight him fair and square inside the ring. We all know his last fight was a total comedy because his opponent is an movie actor. I agree he needs to fight one fight before facing Inoue and I'm sure it will be a dream come true for both of them since they were really wanted that fight to happen.
1914  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why does celebrity marriage frequently end in divorce?  on: January 13, 2023, 01:46:21 PM
Celebrities often does those things when they see their fans loves it and they will gonna end up marrying a man they don't really like to be their husband for life. That's why after their marriage they always regret and soon after, they divorced no matter what are the consequences is. If you search on youtube about Hollywood stars that are divorced you realized they did it just for fun and for their own reputations.
1915  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do and Don't for Electrum Wallet on: January 13, 2023, 12:35:50 PM
I don't got why like a huge majority of bitcoin/crypto holders wouldn't just buy a Ledger/Trezor. If they just use a reputable hardware wallet and just keep the backup offline, that's pretty secure enough for long-term holding. But nooo, most people wouldn't want to pay a measly <$100 for security.

They don't know such wallet exist or might not now where to buy them. Also these people are newbies when it comes to protecting their crypto assets from hackers. Most of them are like that and they are also not aware of this community where they can learn all they need to prevent themselves from getting hacked.
1916  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 13, 2023, 08:49:31 AM

I don't understand how "his fighting opponents outside of McGregor weren't too impressive" he was ready to fight against anyone.

Obviously this is what the media wants us to think because no matter who he beat up after McGregor, they don't seems to be satisfied with it especially Dana White. There's always bias and always bringing Mcgregor up even though he lose himself after fighting Khabib but thankfully Khabib already know that and despite of knowing it, he continue to make a name for himself without their help and also he made his own MMA organization to promote himself and his figthers.
1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 13, 2023, 08:02:42 AM
If you have some spare money with you that can cover up your expenses, better to hold it for a while because right now the price is too low for BNB and other altcoins. Since we our in a fresh year, better to consider observing the crypto market first in the first few months before you decide. After all, you only got it from Airdrops which is really a win-win situation for you.
1918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 13, 2023, 07:04:55 AM
This Lakers game is crazy. Heading into double overtime now. The referees are making some controversial calls but at least they’re letting them play it out. Westbrook is having a great game so far but Luka Doncic has been single-handedly keeping his team in it. Now to see if it ends in double overtime or if they go for triple…

Great news about Cousins tomorrow. I hope he makes the team and stays healthy.

It's another Luka Magic day and one of the amazing performance he has this season. There's no stoping for this kid to pursue his dream to be one of the Legendary NBA player. Every game is a thing to look for when he is playing, also the Lakers was not doing bad at all but that's just the way it is, The Mavs are more making their shots which was the reason to win in the 2OT.
1919  Economy / Speculation / Re: Did Miss El Salvador cause the Bitcoin price to spike last night? on: January 13, 2023, 06:21:06 AM
It's because some investors are starting to enter the market again and it seems like the last lower price is before that spike. Now we will gonna observe what will gonna happen next because if my speculation is right, this is the start of the price recovery. Still, we need to be careful on bull trap and we need to hold our horses because this hype might be the cause for other investors to backout.
1920  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 12, 2023, 01:13:10 PM

I heard about him declining the offer, maybe the offer is too low compared to his status now, but I have no idea that he bought a mansion in san Antonio. If we will use it as a hint, then most probably he is gonna with the Spurs and I think Spurs have enough salary cap to offer him a better contract. However, I think this team won't still make it to the playoffs.

Declining offer in the NBA can become a worse case scenario if you don't have any second plan or someone already have offered you behind the curtain to decline any extension. We already seen some NBA players declining their contract extension and they quickly regret it because their calculations was wrong and they haven't receive the same offer since then. Let's see how will it turned out for JC this time.
