0 point
7 assists
1 rebound
19 minutes played

That was Ben Simmon's stats against the Pistons hehe. It just doesn't make sense for a big PG not to make more shot attempts on a league that mostly favors offense now. It was less than 10 tries per game in their last four or five outings. This guy would be very lucky to have a contract extension that's close to his current salary if he keeps playing like this.

That was just an unexpected loss because Detroit Pistons is currently in the last spot in the eastern conference and many have expected they gonna win easily but the result is the contrary. Too much for Ben Simmons because he thought he doesn't really need to shoot in this game that's why he average 0 points this time. He might be just playing his role as a defender but that wasn't enough to help his team to win this time. Maybe in their next game, he consider shooting the ball because they are not at the alarming spot anyway because they are in the number 4 spot which is really impressive.
1862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin compete with CBDC's? on: January 27, 2023, 10:30:50 AM
With the current state of market trust what will incentivize the average person to use bitcoin over a CBDC?

Since banks can control supply they can use inflation and other mechanisms to encourage spending. Bitcoin on the other hand requires additional layers to handle even the current network traffic and lacks incentive for day to day transaction use.

It's the same with the current fiat where they only make it digital and of course, the banks have control over your money once again. they just put some sugar coating with it but in reality, they wanted to fool people to use support their CBDC instead of bitcoins. From now on, we expect tight competition between these two and there will be lots of negative news against bitcoin again due to the fact they wanted to turn off the light of the future of Bitcoin as the mean of payment.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 26, 2023, 01:25:52 PM

They are unpredictable now and they have the advantage inside because Davis is a dominant big man, he can score inside and outside. Lebron can focus on distributing the ball to an open man, and he can also continue playing like what he did in the past few games if he wants, thing is, the pressure is not so big for him now that Davis has returned.

Their next game against Boston will be tough and this will determine how they will gonna be in the remaining games of this season because if they cannot get through against the Celtics, then they will gonna be struggling to get to the number 10th spot which will gonna play the play-in tournament. At least they need to try to get to that spot because if they are lucky, they can enter the NBA playoff this season. But as we can see, they're not really improving their rank and for the past 3 months, they can't seem to find the right rhythms to get out of number 12-13 spots.
1864  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I might be wrong about this but I need to know on: January 26, 2023, 12:55:04 PM
Are people still renting cloud computing Power to mine Bitcoin? A brother from another mother told me this and I said its impossible because I knew they are not profitable anymore, I might be wrong, who knows? That's why I need to ask fellow bitcoiners on this forum.. Is this still possible today? Where not even 20TH is no more profitable, or people are doing it illegally? Because the way he hyped this I am having a second thoughts maybe its illegal.

Cloud minings are prone to scams and you need to look out for their offers because most of the time they lure you with their good-to-be-true offers to their investors. Then they won't execute their plans too early because they wanted to maximize the profits their about to steal and that's what happened to most of the investors in the year 2015-2017 most of them has fallen victim to this kind of scheme and they lose their bitcoins which if they were sold this year, it could turn the table of their lives in a positive way.
1865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 26, 2023, 11:12:48 AM
Crazy that Tommy Fury pulled out of his fight with Jake Paul for the third time. I think he’s using Jake Paul’s name to try and become relevant but he knows he can’t box so he’s just dragging this dude out as long as possible to get people to say his name. At this point Tommy Fury looks like a fake boxer. He keeps dropping the chance to secure the biggest bag of his life. He should just take the ass beating and collect a check. This is getting embarrassing.

Well, That's just how they want to be known but this will not last for long because we all know who is the real celebrity here and that would be Jake Paul, this will not be a loss against him because he can choose his next opponent in the future.

They really need to consider moving on from this fight because this is really not that important like the Spence and Crawford fight. He can go back and look for some UFC fighters and offer them some huge cash just to fight him.
1866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What makes you into crypto at the moment? on: January 26, 2023, 10:26:35 AM
I have been here since the start of the ICO season when everyone is earning thousands of dollars just by doing easy things with crypto, Airdrops, and bounties. Still, as years have passed, everything has changed and there are lots of things that are new today but I still do something that I was usually doing in the crypto industry and that is trading and holding bitcoins. Many thoughts that their life will gonna change if they engage in the crypto industry and some of them are right and some have failed, well! as of the moment, the only best thing to do is observe and not rush with your crypto investment because we're not yet recovering the old price which was about $30k+ per BTC.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: January 25, 2023, 01:44:14 PM
I still believe that Donaire can still pull this one off, his loss against Inoue was because of miscalculations I'm sure he learned his lesson well, he is still fast, strong and wise in the ring, Jason Moloney is good but he is not Inoue to beat Donaire, this fight is not yet official, because so many contenders are on the list to make titles contention now that all the belts are vacant so many name is coming up, but if this fight happens Donaire has a good chance to take the belt.

He should take this chance once again because he can still fight and have some strong punches as well. with this kind of opponent, he can easily get the belt and stay in that weight division and depend on the belt until the end of his career. He has nothing to lose to accept this offer and I think he can fight anywhere in the world he can still manage to give us an exciting fight because his last fight was not all bad and he was not as slow as any boxer who was his age. Donaire needs to take every opportunity this time if he really wants to continue his pro boxing career.
1868  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Looking for new exchange token to add to my wallet on: January 25, 2023, 12:47:51 PM
I only know LCX too. I think this was also a new one but this one seems better than the other two that you listed there because it gained an immediate attention. If I were you OP I won't hastily invest on them but I will observe their performance first.

That should be the case for the new exchanges that are introducing their coins for the first time and for the early times because we all know how bad it turns out for the others because they were believing the hype and they think it would last but at the end of the day, the exchanges and their coins both crashed and didn't recover again because of the severe bearish market. That's why it's really better not to jump to any conclusion and consider checking every detail and the road maps if they really following it and the team behind it if they are really legit because some of the exchanges in the past disappeared along with the cryptocurrencies deposited in their exchanges.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 25, 2023, 11:35:37 AM
Conor McGregor facing more bad news as he’s being accused of a pretty nasty assault on a woman. His slow motion downward spiral has been sad to see. Hopefully he gets his attitude together. He’s much more entertaining when he isn’t attacking women and elderly men. He’d better have one hell of a fighting comeback in the UFC or I think his days of being a celebrity may be numbered.

I think he has that great depression of his life when he injured himself in his last fight and he won't get any opportunity to fight again because his health is uncertain and it's really hard to put him back in the cage because this dude wanted to fight every champion out there or someone who is rising to become a superstar. As for him, he thinks he is all good for a fight and he hasn't gotten any offer for his comeback in the UFC. I wonder what will gonna be his future in the UFC after this incident.
1870  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we end the *VOLATILITY OF BITCOIN* on: January 25, 2023, 11:04:15 AM
One of the ways is to stop producing these altcoins revert year because they are one of the reasons why people divert their investment from bitcoins to those altcoins that will gonna turn shitcoins later on. They are just confusing investors and with their promising words when they first introduce their project, many are lured to invest but will gonna regret their decision after years because they will gonna see the bitcoin price rise, and their altcoins seem not to care no matter how good the situation of the market is and when a bearish trend comes, it will not gonna bounce back and remain at the bottom until their developers give up.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 25, 2023, 10:30:57 AM
Lakers and Clippers game was interesting. Clippers played well in this game. The problem for the Lakers was only LeBron James the player who played exceptionally well and almost dropped a 50 bomb in this game. But it was a team effort from the Clippers. If LeBron James had a little help from his team, I think this game could have been a lot closer.

I bet he missed the old times when he is getting some help from Wade and others because they were unstoppable at that time and easily get to the NBA playoffs. Now they are having a hard time as if they are not gonna make it to the top 10. Whenever they win straight, they also lose some games in the future. Maybe it will gonna change when AD will play back and they really need to change their game if they want to be in the playoffs this season because their spot has not been changed at all since the start of the season.
1872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else confused by the dead-coins pump ? on: January 24, 2023, 01:24:46 PM
Some whales like this pump and dump game, so they are looking for moribund coins to pump and dispose of them. This is what makes many people deceived by this game because they don't know the plans of the people who do the pumping. They could only keep up and in the end, it would be them who would lose.

This has already happened before and the whales have nothing to lose here because this is more likely their game they have a high chance of winning in this kind of situation because they are used to it for the past years. They know exactly what they are doing and they will gonna sell their holdings one after another you can see this kind of scenario when you look at Doge coins and their likes because these kinds of coins are the ones that are always pumping and then suddenly fall after a moment of increasing their prices. poor newbie investors, if they see the hype will gonna join thinking it is real when it is just baiting to lure them to buy those coins at their high price.
1873  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't get scammed because of wallet upgrade on: January 24, 2023, 12:07:09 PM
Anything that has to do with upgrading a wallet app must be sourced from the official website and not the embedded links available on the internet where everyone can easily have access to and abuse it, those that are not the official links from their sites are the ones aimed to attack people through phishing links, they comes with various apps ads on different websites which redirect user to their own fake website for further attack.

I think the scammers are also intelligent when it comes to sending people about the upgrades of wallets because sometimes they join the original creator to send their own phishing link to confuse the users. It's really recommendable to double-check everything before proceeding to click because one bad click will result in the loss of everything you have in that crypto wallet. With this kind of fraud, there are a lot who already have fallen victim and they are too late when they find out they have been hacked due to the link they clicked from their emails.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 24, 2023, 08:24:54 AM

As for the Lakers, it's a good move I guess since Nunn isn't making an impact with the whole team. Now the Lakers have a decent scorer and at the same time, a good wing defender as well. IMO, the Lakers won the trade unless those 3 second round picks will turn out to be better players in the future, but for now, it's a good move for the Lakers though I guess they need at least 1 more trade before the trade deadline.

Everyone was affirming it on social media today because they see that Nunn doesn't have anything to give when playing with the Lakers and he probably has some potential when he is on a different team. They maybe win this trade here and everyone is excited to see how Rui Hachimura fits in playing with LBJ and others. could this be the moment he is waiting for? where he can shine more and do his stuff to continue making a name for himself.
1875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know total money been invested in bitcoin on: January 24, 2023, 06:40:34 AM
When we talked about tracking, then surely they can track you because when you see some thread today, they can actually see some huge amount of BTC being moved to another wallet and some newbies always became alarmed and posted it here. I guess you can find a way not to get tracked when you have that huge amount of money to invest but surely the entire crypto market will react to that because it will gonna be surely a huge fuss when they see the huge percentage of the price increase.

I guess whales nowadays are dividing their investment to hide from these people who always track them and some of them may be already exited the market from the fear of getting caught because they might gonna face some changes especially when their country has tight rules against BTC.
1876  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: January 24, 2023, 06:00:57 AM
I'm not underestimating Thurman's boxing ability and even power. But he's not anymore a class A boxer right now. He's gone past that already. He used to be. Now, he's been inactive. He left the boxing scene for almost 3 years, went back for a single fight, went inactive again for a year, and then this fight. And this fight is not against somebody who's a no-name in sports. It is against an Errol Spence.

I'm not exaggerating Spence's abilities either. He could be defeated by a Keith Thurman. But with the way things have been, it could indeed be a Spence win. The odds this early is even giving Spence a big -800 advantage.

I may say this fight will be more likely like how Spence fought with Ugas, though he has some more power, he hasn't been fighting someone the likes of Spence, and automatically he will gonna be the underdog also the one who needs to train more to surpassed the fans expectations of him. This is actually a good opportunity for Thurman if he really wants to regain himself because Spence is at his best currently and in this kind of sport, anything could really happen. what if he will gonna lands a lucky power shot that would gonna end Spence's clean record?
1877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: shiba inu coin, now ranked 13th in cmc on: January 24, 2023, 05:22:46 AM
I'm sure you already know how brutal it can turn out if things won't go well for Shiba Inu in the future, so you need to consider being vigilant and do everything to keep your investment alive. I mean, if you see some sudden price spike, then consider selling it and decide later on when the price will go down if you want to buy again. the advantage here is, you already got some decent earnings no matter how will be the situation of this coin in the future and you can do your own research as well to further support them or stop when you already managed to get some wins from your investment.
1878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Crypto Recovery on: January 23, 2023, 12:47:05 PM
Back in the day, I heard people are doing this kind of service but most of the veterans here did not recommend it due to the fact of scamming you when they finally found out some way to get all of the money from that wallet. With some of the technologies nowadays getting advanced, they can actually recover your lost seeds with some hints from you and the question here is, if they really gonna give it back to you once they open that wallet because when it comes to money, it is so tempting to take it from the people whom you don't know and that's why this was never recommended way back then until now.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 23, 2023, 12:02:09 PM

The Blazers are completely the same team, they don't have the kind of defense that brings championships, even the rebounding, it was controlled by the Lakers. Their good shooting alone will not last in a tight game because defense wins games all the time. If Blazers will still struggle this season, I think it's wise if they will rebuild and find a way to trade Lillard.

I agree and this time they will gonna end up not getting to the NBA playoffs because they haven't changed the way they play and also they lose some good players along the way throughout the years. They really need to consider fixing their rosters and following the current trend which is getting another star player to build a stronger team to compete for a championship. The time when a star player can push his team up to the finals is long gone, nowadays you need to be real because the other teams with multiple stars on them are really dominating the leagues right now.
1880  Other / Off-topic / Re: COVID-19 has changed the world dramatically. on: January 23, 2023, 09:34:57 AM
I don't know any country has complete lockdown for the last three years so my first question is where you are from? Huh Unless North Korea...

Covid affected the economy of every country but the actual crisis can be felt only now and expert analysis says we are about to go into world wide recession in this 2023 so brace yourselves financially and mentally.

My country has also had the same case, especially in our city but the thing is, the election has happened and the Mayor completely lost to his opponent thankfully and we are all released because there was no virus whatsoever anymore because the lockdown is only caused by the ex-mayor's greed because they can fully take control of the medical payment when it comes for the swab test and some medical procedure just to get in or out from the City. I think this is the same case for them, it's their own government that put them in that situation, and probably they cannot do anything about it.
