2581  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 06, 2015, 04:39:10 PM
Indian team is really good and can come back anytime.I think the last match of the series is for Indian team. They just need to concentrate and play their natural game and with such a strong batting line up they should not face trouble both in building or chasing target in next match.

Yes, Indian cricket team is know for bounce back at prime times. Even they already lost the series they will bounce back to win the last T20 for their pride. It would be shocking for Indian supporters if they get washed out in the series. They have IPL, and every single team men playing more T20 than any other cricketer in the world. So, a must win for Dhoni and men.

I think Indian will comeback after this series finish when any low ranking team like Afghanistan will visit India than it will win for sure but this time from South Africa i am in great doubt. Tongue

You forget about the home advantage any cricket team enjoys. Indian team can beat even Australia, but you are talking about Afghanistan who never toured India in history. India will win the last T20 for their pride. If not resolve IPL otherwise it meat only for money making not for true cricket.
2582  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I trust BTC exchanges? on: October 06, 2015, 04:17:01 PM
I think we've mostly past the worst of the exchange problems akin to mt.gox. The remaining exchanges have a certain level of competitive edge seeing as they are the ones that survived the onslaught.

Early technology much like the internet itself is full of risks and pirates everywhere, but eventually things will improve for the better.

The security is the main part of every new exchange.
It is the most sensitive part and we have seen many hacks that have been made these past few years.
I also don't trust much the current exchange, but i leave on them a small amount to trade in alt coins.

I also have very small amount of bitcoin in more than two exchanges. I do not want to rely on a single exchange as I'm aware of the old popular exchange stories. So, it will some what secure of bitcoins if we have accounts in more than one change and having our bitcoins split ted across many exchanges.
2583  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: October 06, 2015, 04:14:26 PM
My strategy when playing trading trying to buy the coin when the coin is being down 15-30% and wait until prices go up Cheesy
but sometimes it works well and sometimes also the price of the coins getting down and almost died

That's the real situations we face almost everyday with most of the alt coins. Because, most of the alt coins are based on bump and dump from it's creator. If we struct in the bumping wave, then we can not recognize when they will start their dumping waves.
2584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn lesson then Shine in trading on: October 06, 2015, 04:11:57 PM
do not be afraid to make trades because we can try
without capital with a demo account first to learn to
recognize the system

Yes trail account are for that reason to get rid of our fear of loss. As OP stated many people are simply ignoring trading in bitcoin just for fear of loss. But trading usually have huge potential of bitcoin earning. So, test your skill or luck with demo account, if suits continue in real account.
2585  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: October 06, 2015, 03:06:27 PM
May be the idle coin owners are billionaires. But I leave my bitcoins to sit idle to make my self as millionaire.

It's not necessary only a billionaire or millionaire can leave their bitcoins idle who are all believing with bitcoin in long run leave their hard earned bitcoins to sit idle. You are right, making your coins idle will definitely will make you a millionaire over time. I too believe in the future of bitcoin very much.
2586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: October 06, 2015, 02:52:19 PM
I think that the future of bitcoins depends on many other factors.
Firstly the price should be more stable and increasing/decreasing slowly to get more people interested in this payment method.
If this is done then more e-commerces will implement it and boom, the price of bitcoin and popularity will be on maximum.

Yes. Price stability is the key for storing wealth.

Yes, no one will not to buy a commodity which decreases over time. But case of bitcoin is completely different, but people are not ready for long run. If the people to believe in bitcoin because it has limited supply and amount of supply from block reduces over time, then they will be storing their wealth into bitcoin.
2587  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I quit trading on: October 06, 2015, 02:43:07 PM
Faucets are the biggest waste of time ever.. If you calculate the amount you could make from faucets assuming you have perfect claim rates, you are literally better off getting a job at McDonalds.

Faucets are to kill your time. You can not chase your time with a faucet earning. But people like faucet compared to bitcoin trading because there is no chance of loosing out bitcoin in the case of faucets unlike bitcoin trading. But they do not know they are loosing their time where time is money.
2588  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN going up or down on: October 06, 2015, 01:42:51 PM
More or less during past few months it's stable, no big ups or downs. I think the situation will be the same in the near future

Maybe a little up after the launch of Gemini but I don't except a serious pump directly.

Yes we can not expect a quick effects that Gemini exchange can bring to us. But we can expect some good movements in taking bitcoin into new dimension can be possible just because of those Winkvloss brothers. Like many people here, I also believe that the Genimi exchange can take bitcoin into moon.
2589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm using/learning/playing/investing with Bitcoin on: October 06, 2015, 01:29:27 PM
I'm investing with bitcoin as well as I still learn bitcoin core technology. I use bitcoin to save for my retirement account. I believe on bitcoin future so, I convert my efforts into bitcoin for the secured future. But I rarely play with bitcoin. Because I focus on my future with bitcoin, so spending now for playing is not my option.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Everyone looses in the long run on: October 06, 2015, 08:06:14 AM
I hear if you are capable to sustain for long run then we can start making profits, but this tread is saying totally reciprocal to my understanding. If you bet for small amount then you can get more chances, more chances means more time to test and get and idea of that game. This is the basics of long run. I do not know how long run hurts all the gamblers.
2591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: October 06, 2015, 08:02:53 AM
It is so clear that Dhoni is one of the best fixture in the world, how cleverly he picked a team who are worth of nothing, their are so many good players in india who are performing good but they dont get chances of showing their ability in National team, only in IPL or some county matchs picking them and they show their ability their.

It may not be fair to just blame only captain because he has own many matches and cups for india in the past.

That is also correct. Dhoni is the one won many cups for india and many test series including in india and abroad but currently he also not performing and whole team is not performing like past so it is better if he him self retire from all cricket games then he can have a good name even after the retirement. If management through him out means then it will not be a good exit for him.

Yes, Dhoni is not the reason for series lost to South Africa. Toss play a big role in India flat pitches, if you win toss and bat second then your winning odds are much higher. But I do not understand how Ambati Rayudu is better than Anjinake Rahena. They should start with Rohit and Rehana for third T20 match.
2592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: October 06, 2015, 07:55:09 AM
gamble is not my way for earning money... just waste my money Smiley

Not always and not to everybody. Because I'm the only living proof for gambling profits. But I have not make much more money from gambling but I'm making decent amount compared to my investments. This is simply because I do not bet for higher amount instead I go for multiple small amounts. This fetches me many attempts to hit.
2593  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: October 06, 2015, 03:06:44 AM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

Yes I would do that, I will concentrate in investing in bitcoins because it is simple and less hassle compared to my stressful day job.

Not only you. Most of the people find their current job boring or less paying or stressful. But it's too early to quit a job for bitcoin earning unless you were a early adopters and you have a mass of bitcoins hoarded. A regular and conformed income is must for living. I do not find such a income from bitcoin from my country.
2594  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: October 06, 2015, 03:01:07 AM
Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?

Just some coins not a lot but just enough maybe 10 it is enough to survive for twenty years.

Different people say different things.
My predictions on bitcoin price:
After 20 years, one bitcoin worth will be one million dollars. But one million dollars in 2036 would buy what 100k dollars buy in 2016. So, if you need one million of current buying worth in your retirement then you may need 10 bitcoins.
My calculations are based one 1BTC = 1 Million in 2036. May be 1BTC would worth 10 million at that also. But we can expect surely 1 Million or around to it by 2036 or 2040.
2595  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 06, 2015, 02:38:26 AM
I don't see banks and bitcoin on the same side any time soon, as they are counters of one another. There's no doubt that acceptance of bitcoin in banks would
insanely pump it's value, but since banks are backers of fiat for obvious reasons, i see no reason why they would do such a thing.

I agree with that. Bitcoin will probably be treated like an investment like stocks, forex, etc. for a very long time.

In my view, bitcoin is currently should be treated as a long term investment instrument. May be people treat it like a retirement account also.
Basically bitcoin is the banking way digital money system. You can send, receive or hold like what ever we do with a banking account. So, bitcoin wallet = bank.
2596  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Bitcoins magically appeared in my wallet on: October 05, 2015, 05:05:22 PM
I do see this kind of appearance in my Multibit wallet (Not HD wallet). When you have more than one address in your multibit wallet, if you receive multiple payments to multiple addresses, then in transaction multibit usually show only one transaction combining all amounts as a single  transaction.
Same way when you send to multiple address(say some 10 outputs), from one single address in block-chain you can see 11 outputs. (The extra one is for remaining balance to input address). But Multibit showed me that remaining balance transaction as an incoming transaction.
So when I sent multiple payments, I ended up with an incoming transaction. But checked in explorer, nothing unexpected happened.
2597  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use cases. What do you actually use Bitcoin for? on: October 05, 2015, 02:53:26 PM
Do you use Bitcoin at least once a month? What do you actually use it for? Why? Is it better, cheaper, faster, more convenient than alternatives? Is it the only option?

If those 120.000+ daily transactions are actually real, there must be thousands of Bitcoin users active every day. What are we actually using Bitcoin for? Are we just true believers or are there real reasons to use Bitcoin instead of other available options?

I figure it's about time that we have a clearer picture of actual Bitcoin use cases. Sure, in a year or two the picture will probably change completely, but it's useful info right now for anyone interested in growing our community.

Please answer in as much detail as possible!
I don't consider bitcoin as an investment, instead as a money. I used it when sending money to friends and sometimes as a micropayments. Also when gambling when I am bored Cheesy
But it's too early to use bitcoin as a money. Because I can not find too many options for spending for my desired brands and places. Instead I can analysis profit over time if I consider bitcoin as a investment. So, I prefer bitcoin as of now as a investment, may be after 15 to 20 years I may use my savings as money.
2598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the biggest innovation of bitcoin is ... on: October 05, 2015, 01:04:29 PM
Independence from government regulation, no freezing of our hard earned money are the freedom I enjoy by bitcoin now a days. Simply the decentralization is the core concept I believe in. By people for people is the concept from where bitcoin born. I'm one of those people.

Yes freedom, we must deserve with respect to our money would be the point where bitcoin innovated whereas any financial society of system failed to provide us. We must love bitcoin for such a liberty brought to us. Simply decentralization would make bitcoin more successful and currency of the globe.
2599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will be the first country who will accept bitcoin ? on: October 05, 2015, 01:00:36 PM
USA would be the country will encourage bitcoin very soon. Compared to India, in america the leaders will think from the view of common man. So, they will let bitcoin grow like it deserve by it's nature. Financial regulations are worst in India, so definitely we can not expect India any positive progress with regarding to bitcoin.
2600  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a way to earn at least $1 in BTC per hour? on: October 05, 2015, 12:56:25 PM
How about from games? Can we earn some bitcoin just by playing thru our PC or android or Iphones?

You could earn some BTC by playing games but they don't rather pay that much. However, it is still worth a try since they're fun to play and at least you'll be earning something. For android, there is Bitcoin Hopper, Bitcoin Flapper and Wheel of Bitcoins and for PC, there's Minecraft and others that I might have missed (Google is your friend) So far, Bitcoin Hopper and Wheel of Bitcoins are my favorite. They're very addicting and fun to play. Try them out!  Grin

Thank you for sharing useful earning games on Android. It's completely new ways of making bitcoin for me. But one of my friend used minesweeper kind of games in PC, but git fed up those games pays as faucet sites. So I do not think $1 in bitcoin is still possible way.
