If by "shill" you mean someone who has volunteered thousands of hours and years of my life to help grow Bitcoin into a global peer-to-peer electronic cash system, then here are some of the ways I've "shilled":

1. In 2014, I developed the first ECDSA signing tool capable of signing Bitcoin transactions offline over an air-gap by drawing power from the NFC field [video].

2. In 2015, I co-founded (and still co-manage) the first peer-reviewed scholarly journal for Bitcoin and blockchain research, Ledger.

3. Also in 2015, I did research to demonstrate that a transaction fee market would exist without a block size limit [paper] [video]

4. In 2016, I co-founded Bitcoin Unlimited, which is now a $10 million+ organization that supports Bitcoin research and outreach across the world.

5. Also in 2016, I did research to show that with subchains, bitcoin's transaction capacity could be increased while also providing faster TX verification by miners to users [paper] [video]

6. In 2017, I demonstrated a security weakness in segregated witness [video]

7. Also in 2017, I spearheaded the launch of the $3 million "Gigablock Testnet Initiative" and presented our initial result in Stanford [video]

I have done all this to date as a volunteer because I love bitcoin and hope to see it change the world for the better.

Roger Ver's CV is a lot better Smiley

Indeed.

Roger Ver has done a huge amount to further Bitcoin adoption.  Perhaps more than anyone else besides Satoshi Nakamoto.  He truly loves Bitcoin and wants to see all of the world adopt it.  That people now abuse him for trying to fix the problem of high fees and unreliable confirmations is heart-breaking for me.
You don't actually believe this bullshit, do you?
2582  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the government know bitcoin in your country? on: December 21, 2017, 09:23:50 PM
I think they will ban bitcoin because of the fearful that may affect of the economics of my country but i disagree there opinion because working bitcoin is very helpful for me especially the support financial.

In my country the government already is aware of blockchain technologies and there is a plan to make taxes over it.
Most countries already tax Bitcoin, or at least they try to.
2583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin. 2017 will be $ 1 in December. on: December 21, 2017, 09:23:22 PM
I do not believe in the prospect of dogecoin. Something incredible must happen that it grows up to at least $ 1. If it had a meaning, it would have been a long time ago at the level with the ethereum.
How about Bitcoin at $100,000 in 2019?
2584  Economy / Economics / Re: Does this mean Cash will be extinct? on: December 21, 2017, 09:22:48 PM
To me, cash will be removed from the earth by 2035 because the era is the technology era and we don't need paper banknotes anymore. This will take too much time to get in the new era, but I'm sure we'll do this within 15 years or so.

IMO, you are quite a bit over-optimistic. What about countries such as Congo and Angola, where the vast majority of the population doesn't know how to use a smartphone? Forget such countries. Even in developed nations such as the United States and Japan, you will find a lot of people who don't know how to perform digital transactions.
This is correct, I like bitcoin and I think we are going to reach wide levels of adoption in the next 10 to 20 years, but not everyone is going to use bitcoin, when it comes to their money most people prefer to play it safe, that is  why you can see people complaining about not affording bitcoin, but if they were given the chance to buy bitcoin at the same price most people are going to pass on the opportunity.
It is really scary when I holding Bitcoin to keep safe my money while the price of Bitcoin ups and downs strongly as past week. Although the price of Bitcoin was stable higher than $15,000 in past days, but I still see many reason to make me exchange to FIAT or USDT.
Just make sure to increase your Bitcoin holdings. The price of Bitcoin will go up, meanwhile USD will be worth less and less due to the ridiculous amount of money that the Fed is emitting.

2586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 21, 2017, 09:16:50 PM
I actually noticed back in my days at university that the academics who used "I" in their talks instead of "we" or "one" tended to be a complete waste of attention (with very few exceptions). May or may not be related.

Completely related.

Blowhards that are haughty and full of themselves. They overestimate their own intellect, skills, and importance in the world.

Deep down inside they are completely insecure and miserable.
This was my experience as well. As a student it wasn't even possible to ask questions in a friendly discourse without seeing those people heavily offended due to their lack of an answer. Meanwhile the "we/one" camp just either outright said they had no obvious answer or at least tried to provide some possible angles to tackle the questions from, while clearly indicating that they aren't sure. And here I used to believe that university was about honest intellectual discourse before I got there, but oh well.
2587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Vs Bitcoin Cash on: December 21, 2017, 09:13:25 PM
What do you think of Bitcoin Cash?
Do you think it will have the same value as Bitcoin or it will be just another Alt. Coin in the crypto market?

As you can see, that's exactly what happened, the next altcoin. I think that the replacement for bitcoin will not appear soon, but he obviously needs improvements. The best way out would be a universally recognized softphone, in my opinion...
Bitcoin was too backward!
Look that the total transaction unconfirmed on blockchain.info, you can see more 200,000 transactions can not get confirm and the transaction fees can be $200 per transaction for 1 confirm in your transaction hash.
You can thank Roger Ver and Jihan Wu for that.

They're spamming the blockchain with low-fee unprocessable transactions to increase transaction times and fees drastically in order to try and fool people into believing that BCash is the new thing.

They're even colluding with CNBC to spread their lies and propaganda for this, while manipulating the hashrate and network difficulty (Jihan Wu, CEO of Bitmain controls most of the global hashrate) and wash trading (buying their own BTrash and selling their own BTC to manipulate prices and trigger FOMO buys of BTrash and FUD sales of BTC).

They're also locking up exchanges that they control so that people who bought into BTrash won't be able to dump at the ceiling.

This is literally the same thing that happened during the SegWit2x fork (which VuWer started and cancelled themselves).

Stay out of BCash unless you want to risk losing everything you have while supporting corrupt lying criminals (Roger Ver was evicted from the USA after sitting jailtime for a felony). He's literally a criminal.
2588  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: December 21, 2017, 09:08:17 PM
Charlie Lee "sold all his litecoin" to "prove" he has no conflict of interest promoting Litecoin.

No Charlie, that's not what that would prove!  Smiley

It proves that you are spineless. A disgusting fish faced gook who stands for nothing! Congratulations!

Somehow dumping Litecoin at the top is supposed to be applauded by your nimwit cult?

Hi, I'm Charlie Lee inventor of Litecoin. It is an amazing system for sending value, it has massive room to grow, you should buy it now that its moved from $2 to $300! Oh you want me to show you how it works? Sorry, I don't own any.

Fuck You!

C'mon dude...chill out with that racism. It's a coin that you can still sell near an all time high if you hate him so much.
Anybody "investigating coinbase" might do well to look at the ex-director of engineering, Charlie Lee, who left literally the same week coinbase customer's Bitcoin Cash were withheld after fork. Any issues with the exchanges gdax and coinbase are in direct connection to this man.

Originally they floated that they may NEVER credit Bitcoin Cash to their customers claiming they abandoned their rights to it by not withdrawing before the fork! To even suggest such a thing should be reason enough to never use coinbase but they advertise too aggressively so they grow regardless. Withholding the asset for 4 & 1/2 months isn't any redemption in my mind.

Charlie's CNBC interviews were weak.

CNBC has zero legitimacy anyways, literally abusing their position to shill BTrash and spread propaganda. And they're not even trying to hide it.
2589  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: December 21, 2017, 09:07:32 PM
It's good to know when you should sell your bitcoins no need to be too greedy but you should also not be too much hasty in making your decisions because sometimes you should be patient with yours decisions.
You should make sure to increase your Bitcoin holdings if you actually believe in what Bitcoin stands for.

Clinical narcissists tend to overuse the words "I" and "my" in their ramblings because they tend to self-reference alot. You managed to cram it in no less than 10 times.

Please go seek some help.

Faucets aren't really worth the time anymore either nowadays.

You can't. You're getting paid to spam about a ponzi scheme all over the internet.
I guess you don't follow the DO, because no one will be spamming anymore except some VIPs Smiley

You can convince us by giving a blow job to Crypto Rainbow publicly and by sharing live streaming with us...  Actually, all of you wearing that scammy signature  are doing this almost one year daily already...
Same with this, can't count to 22 weeks
At least do some basic research to continue calling it a scam or all your claims are 0% legit.

Doesn't change the fact that they did. Or that DO zombies are still flooding the forums with nonsense. Or the fact that the 'new' rules turned DO into an outright ponzi scheme.

My advice as a veteran since $49 is to take some profit if you're well into the green to soothe your nerves, and to make sure you hold at least 1 BCH for every 1 BTC you hold.

My advice as a veteran since 2013 is to dump all your BCH for BTC and tell Peter R. and jbreher to fuck off.

Notice how those two shills show up on the forum as a tag team. Probably two accounts held by the same person.

So where's realr0ach?
They pretty much only show up during the BTrash attacks as well, along with the low activity sock puppets.

Wow... Now bitcoin fees are just insane... Good luck trading NVST
Bitcoin devs should fix the backlog problem asap or else it will just collapse!
The flippening might be reconsidered
That's a little difficult to do when BTrash keeps attacking the Bitcoin blockchain by flooding it with low fee transactions and simultaneously abusing their connections to MSM (CNBC) to spread propaganda. Once people realize that BCash is a corrupt fucking scam we can go back to changing the world of finance. In the meantime we'll have to wait for LN or another form of scaling.

1 BCH = 1 Lamborghini

Lest go.
Good luck getting a scammy shitcoin to being equal to a Lambo.

John McAfee (the anti virus software Billionaire) bets that Bitcoin will hit $1,000,000.00 (One Million) USD by year 2020.
OR he will eat his own dick on TV!

Who are you again?  A nobody.
He's betting on Bitcoin, not BCash. Who are you again? That random illiterate and overly impulsive guy.

I think this is good advice 1 BCH for every 1 BTC.
Maybe if you don't understand what is happening.

Is SEPA going to be a thing for the MCO cards? And will it be possible to just directly draw from a bank account like with Paypal (SEPA mandate)?

Any vets out there caring to calm my nerves with some words of wisdom?

The market is waking up the fact that BTC is digital gold designed to be held and not spent -- that high fees and transaction friction are a feature and not a bug.  The market may reprice BTC as a result.

My advice as a veteran since $49 is to take some profit if you're well into the green to soothe your nerves, and to make sure you hold at least 1 BCH for every 1 BTC you hold.

Don't hold BCH. Peter is a shill.
And not even a good one.

http://bitcoinist.com/cnbc-collusion-roger-ver-bcash/

Mainstream news network CNBC is under intense scrutiny as evidence emerges its senior staff used connections to plug Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

He foreseen this back in 2013 now BCH will be the NEXT MT.GOX.
https://youtu.be/UP1YsMlrfF0

This ain't even about Ver anymore. The corporate community is coming together in perfect harmony to bamboozle people into BCH.
This will ultimately decide if people learned from history or if the masses are still brainded morons who will happily bend over for a single bone before they get boned.
