2581  Economy / Gambling / Re: Livecasino.io - 🔥 up to 20% cashback 🔥 up to 20% rakeback 🚨 on: July 11, 2022, 05:19:15 AM
We should really make this promotion more visible guys as some of you wanted a promotion on slots, so Flavio and Livecasino team made it happen.

Also please make sure you check those threads where people are talking about Slots and make them know that there is an on-going promotion for Slots on Bitcointalk and Livecasino.io for this weekend only.   Grin

I have a bad experience on slot especially on wagering using Bitcoin. I bet 0.0005BTC which I thought I’m using $ that time makes my bankroll bust real quick. I’m not updated anymore on livecasino minimum bet in slot using BTC but I hope they already adjust it to much lower Bitcoin amount because I remember that there slot has a mphigh minimum bet amount in BTC before which turn me off to use slot.

This will always be a problem with high volatile assets similar to bitcoin if it is used as a currency. However, would everyone who gambles in Livecasino and other sites in the cryptospace want their deposits valued in dollars similar to Betnomi? It might be good for more stability of the funds in your account but it might also be not very good if bitcoin and altcoins are pumping because when you withdraw, you would receive less of the coins compared to the deposit.
2582  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 11, 2022, 03:25:09 AM

Mark Magsayo started to show some stamina loss in just the 4th round. That was unusual to him.

Rey Vargas really put a tough job on the champion making Magsayo release much effort right at the early rounds. Magsayo's quickness that supposed to be his advantage, isn't utilized much. However, even with that situation, the Champion was able to put some damage too on his challenger in the later rounds but Vargas owned him in the end.

115-112 Vargas, 114-113 Magsayo, 115-112 Vargas - almost a unanimous decision for Vargas.

So unfortunate for Magsayo but Vargas deserves the win. Big Respect to him.

Agreed. I stopped watching on round 8 because it was beginning to become very boring. Anyone who was watching would know already that Vargas would be the winner.

Also, were much of the voters of the poll from the Philippines? There are 15 votes for Magsayo and there is only 1 vote for Vargas hehehehe. Who is the Mexican poster in the thread?
2583  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Sam Bankman-Fried, some Bitcoin exchanges are insolvent on: July 11, 2022, 02:32:50 AM
Sam Bankman-Fried has declared that they have a few billion to help cryptocompanies that are struggling with their cashflow. This is very good news because when a big company begins helping small companies as a gateway to own them, this might be the first indicator that we are on the bottom of the bear market hehehehe.

It's his business move, but I think it's a bigger shame (in the long term) to save such companies than to let them fail. If these companies are saved, they will become even bigger over time, and with regard to their business policies and greed, the next market crash will result in them dragging down much more of the clients' money than is the case now.

As for the bottom, I would like you to be right, but there are too many who are still calling for a new crash in the zone below $15k, and the situation on the world markets does not look good, with the prospect of even bigger drops in Q4, and a very bad start of the new year.

Sam Bankman-Fried is beginning to act something similar to a central bank if he continues to bail out these cryptobanks and creates another organization to oversee their progress after his bail outs hehehe.

Sam has also again implied in this interview that from what he knows and what he has seen, the cryptospace bottom might have occurred already. He will not declare it as a 100% certainty, however hehe.

2584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻 on: July 11, 2022, 01:56:20 AM
Everyone should stop giving much attention to Peter Schiff and pay more attention to the reality that El Salvador is not in a very good economic condition. It would certainly make everyone in the cryptospace look stupid if the government of El Salvador goes bankrupt while their president irresponsibly continues to take risks with taxpayer's money. Will bitcoin fix this?

I know everyone in this thread hates the Cowboys, however, what is everyone's analysis and opinion on Dak Prescott?

Probably a better Bet than Lance but just. Wink

But just? I speculate Trey Lance might not be ready to be their first quarterback again for this season hehehe. This might also be why San Francisco does not want to trade Jimmy Garoppolo. I might be wrong, however, for those rookie quarterbacks of last year, it might be Mac Jones who might have a successful season this year.
2586  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: July 09, 2022, 07:17:04 AM
How are the withdrawal times at cloudbet these days?

Made first withdrawal via ETH to test the speed, its not instant as it says on the site that most withdrawals are instant, i can still see the cancel button.

Read some bad reviews but still gave it a go, hopefully will receive withdrawal soon and dont have to wait few days or some bs.

Anyone had recent experience with their withdrawal speed?

I used crypto only and amount is not too big, like 300$ only.

Thanks

I have gambled regularly in Cloudbet before and I have never encountered any problems in my withdrawals. We cannot be certain if those bad reviews came from reputable sources and we should not assume that Cloudbet is doing this without a valid reason for suspicions on user activity. There are other sportsbooks and gambling services in the cryptospace if you do not feel safe, however.
2587  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance-US charge zero fee on Bitcoin usdt trading on: July 09, 2022, 06:53:33 AM
you mentioned the profits they make not just from the "maker" "taker" of people doing orders, and the withdrawal fee's ..but you forget they also make profit from the "spread"(gap between the buy market list and the sell market list). this is another secret area where they can make money.
I know. I did not mention about their hidden, shady activities to get profit from wash trading volume, traps to liquidate users.

Because I wanted to bind with things relate to their service fee: trading (taker/ maker), withdrawal fee. I know they have different things to build and maintain their service: security, maintenance, consolidate inputs, process withdrawal, etc. but they must assign income from their service fee for those things. Secretly over charge withdrawal fee and when get accusation, saying "we use it for different things of our service", it's not fair.

Agreed! It appears that much of us has certainly forgotten about OKcoin and their wash trading practices hehehe. Also, this might be something that can be used to attack the exchange. Sam's Alameda Research can for example do wash trading there as a demonstration of CZ's mistake on implementing zero fees. However, this might also be a chance for Binance to show how good their trading engine is.
2588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: According to Sam Bankman-Fried, some Bitcoin exchanges are insolvent on: July 09, 2022, 05:45:47 AM
@GreatArkansas. Poloniex might be an underestimated exchange and it might be as safe as the biggest exchanges to hold some coins there for trading. His excellency Justin Sun appears to have made billions since 2017 hehe. He has also declared that he might also participate with Sam and CZ in helping some cryptocompanies with their cashflow.

We are friends with everyone and are always ready to serve.

It also appears that there is a new storyline for Sam Bankman-Fried in this article in Fortune magazine hehehe.

I do not disagree with much of your reply. Also you are correct in saying that much of the projects from the concepts have only worked on paper. However, the argument is the same. The concepts are good and they will not die because the cryptospace needs the products, the services and the solutions from those concepts.

What exactly do you disagree with in my examples, and if you disagree, then give counter-arguments for a different use of these types of tokens at the moment. What specifically am I wrong about? I hope you have a little more reason than a position: I don't agree with you - because I don't like it. Wink

I only disagree to the argument that any concept in the cryptospace to create and develop something that is not bitcoin is a scam. Similar to the concept of the ICO as a democratized method to collect funding from investors, this is not a scam despite being used for scams. NFTs, a concept for a new medium for art where artists can monetize their work is also not a scam but it can be used for scams.

There is nothing wrong if you do not like it or do not want to accept it. Those concepts, also with the concept for a peer to peer digital cash, will continue to exist despite the people who want them to stop existing.
2590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 08, 2022, 04:16:45 AM
^^ Well Floyd has a obvious hidden agenda to tell us that there is negotiations, because he wanted Crawford to be his manager. And maybe if Bud Crawford will sign with him, then that is the time that this fight is going to be made, hehehe. But still the fight can still be made in October, we still have 3 months of it and many things can happen along the way to put this fight in schedule at least for this year.

There might be some truth in what Floyd Mayweather is speculating despite having a hidden agenda, however. He might have information of the sensitive occurrences in those negotiations. Also, I disagree that Spence vs. Crawford will be this year if October schedule is not confirmed. I speculate that it might be on 2023 or 2024.

I know everyone in this thread hates the Cowboys, however, what is everyone's analysis and opinion on Dak Prescott? His ankle injury might be healed completely for this season and we might be seeing him with more rush attempts hehehe. I speculate that we might witness a successful season from him similar to Stafford but without the superbowl hehe.

I also downloaded Yahoo's fantasy app on my phone. When will we begin the draft? The app also has standard draft and salary cap draft. What will we have?

Sam Bankman-Fried has declared that they have a few billion to help cryptocompanies that are struggling with their cashflow. This is very good news because when a big company begins helping small companies as a gateway to own them, this might be the first indicator that we are on the bottom of the bear market hehehehe.

Sam Bankman-Fried, head of one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, FTX, said he and his company still have a “few billion” on hand to shore up struggling firms that could further destabilize the digital asset industry, but that the worst of the liquidity crunch has likely passed.

2593  Other / Archival / Re: Binance Expands Crypto Adoption on: July 08, 2022, 02:10:08 AM
However, the concept still exists seperately and there is a more ideal implementation of this concept than what is presently in the cryptospace. The implementation and the application is not the concept. Similar to the concept of cryptocoins where one implementation is bitcoin. Is this the ideal implementation? It can be argued in one very long thread hehehe.

The government can regulate whatever they want, however, enforcing the rules will be a very big problem for them. They do not have the laws created or the experts to create the laws needed. A simple example is Telegram's token. The SEC declared it a security, however, an anonymous development team forked the project and issued a token also called TON that can also be used by Telegram users hehehe. The SEC cannot do anything. Bitcoin and the cryptospace would be shutdown if they can do anything.

Are there examples of recent trends that are following their concept at the moment, or at least getting close to it?

Recall the most striking trends over the past 2 years:

- DeFi, the concept is decentralization. In fact, many projects are centralized and tokens are reduced to a pump & dump scheme.
- Play-2-Earn, the concept is to combine gaming and cryptocurrencies. In fact, projects are not considered as a game, but as a means of earning money, where users come to work, to earn money. Most users are not talking about any investment or reinvestment in the game.
- Move-2-Earn, the concept is to combine sports and cryptocurrencies. In fact, the problem is the same as in Play-2-Earn.
- NFT, the concept is to combine art and cryptocurrencies, tokenization of art objects, collectibles, etc. In fact, the industry is not flooded with art objects, in its tokenized form, but with various digital garbage, the purpose of which is speculation and money laundering.

That's the whole point of these concepts, which so far only work on paper.

I do not disagree with much of your reply. Also you are correct in saying that much of the projects from the concepts have only worked on paper. However, the argument is the same. The concepts are good and they will not die because the cryptospace needs the products, the services and the solutions from those concepts.

There are some comments in your reply that can also be used against bitcoin. Bitcoin can also be used for speculation, moneylaundering and many other crimes. From the point of view of some people, bitcoin is a ponzi scheme because it is an asset that produces no financial value for the owner. I have also seen some arguments that bitcoin's development is centralized to the lead maintainer in Github. They can argue about anything but our argument is the same. The concept is good and implementations should be created.
2594  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 07, 2022, 04:55:34 AM
According to Floyd Mayweather, those rumors that the negotiations between Spence's team and Crawford's team to organize this fight for October is only fake news. Is Mayweather also speculating that the teams of Spence and Crawford are also using a similar tactic as his team and team Pacman? The tactic is make everyone wait until the money is very big enough hehehe.

Floyd Mayweather shut down rumors about the Errol Spence Jr vs Terence Crawford undisputed clash.

The newly inducted Hall of Famer cut off the rumored October date for Spence vs Crawford during a press conference with MMA star Mikuru Asakura, who he will face in an exhibition match in September.

Last week, ESPN’s Mike Coppinger said the negotiations are still ongoing, but the undisputed welterweight championship is targeted for October. Mayweather said otherwise.

“…I seen, if I am not mistaken, someone threw out a date or a month,” Mayweather said.

“Not true. When it is true y’all will hear it from me first or from Fighthype.”

2595  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-06-28] Bitcoin mining revenue mirrors 2021 lows, right before BTC breached on: July 07, 2022, 03:38:19 AM
@cr1776. Is investing in shares of cloudmining hashrates good? I have read many bad reviews about it and it appears that it might be more profitable to use the bitcoins to invest if you know how to trade than use them to buy shares of hashrates. I speculate that only unprofitable miners who do not have enough on their monthly cashflow offer these shares.
2596  Other / Archival / Re: Binance Expands Crypto Adoption on: July 07, 2022, 03:16:51 AM
Is the concept of crypto a pump and dump scheme?

This is not a concept, but the actual application of cryptocurrency at the moment. Largely.

Bitcoin is also a victim of this occurrence. Does everyone really accept that bitcoin's price bubbles are not an effect of speculation and price manipulation? Regulations cannot fix this, look at Wall Street. We should accept this reality that people will always buy on speculation.

I reckon that we might have different attitudes on the concept of NFT and ICO because I accept that from this, market speculation will always exist and scams will always be created. However, I do not consider that everything that is not bitcoin is a scam.

Recently I read that proposals have already begun to come in that the NFT industry should be regulated. I agree with this, because at the moment the NFT is a big garbage dump for fraud, including insider trading, wash trading, money laundering, etc. Until the necessary and correct regulation comes to NFTs, they will continue to be perceived by the majority as shitcoins with exorbitantly inflated price tags.

2597  Economy / Gambling / Re: SandboxCasino.io サンドボックス It's Simple: Fun and Fair. on: July 07, 2022, 02:42:43 AM

What @bbcreporter trying to suggest here was if he really sent the 5K USDT amount on BSC counterpart of your wallet address(assuming you are using metamask or other non-custodial wallet), You can have that extra 5K USDT in BSC if you use that same private key to access the wallet and just change the network settings to BSC to see your 5K USDT balance that sent to you accidentally. This might be a n extra reward for you if the support is telling you the truth that he make mistake.

That’s not an option because Coinbase is a custodial wallet. I went back and forth with “Derek Wynn” at SandBoxCasino.io explaining this before he resent the $5k to the correct wallet.

All I want is my legitimate win of $120k sent to me.

I am not a Coinbase user, however, the wallet developed by Coinbase is also similar to Binance's Trust wallet where you can import or remove different types tokens from different types of blockchains that shares Geth's codebase. You can change the network to Binance smartchain and import BUSD in your wallet through the contract address and see that you also have $5k in BUSD in that address.

Also, if it is a wallet similar to blockchain.info, is there a way for you to get the private key of your wallet? You can import this in another wallet connecting to Binance smartchain. If it is an exchange, you can ask for help through their tech support.
2598  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 06, 2022, 02:09:09 AM
Looking at the current odds:

ML
Alvarez - 1.21
GGG - 3.95

So that is a huge disparity as far as the odds goes and they seems to really favoring Alvarez here. Maybe the age factor is what this bookies are looking at, GGG just won his last fight, while Canelo lost to Bivol. I think it's a great odds for GGG supporters this early as it is very attractive.

Agreed but do you not speculate GGG to be very underestmated for this fight? Canelo has only recently lost to Bivol. It was on a higher weight division, yes, however is Canelo ready for this only months after the loss? Bivol has also showed everyone the style on how to win vs. Canelo. Also, do you see this fight to reach round 12?

Definitely, GGG is underestimated here against his arch-nemesis. There fight has been so close that others argued that it could be GGG 2-0 or GGG 1-0. But we all know that Canelo has been given special treatment and even after coming from a humiliating lost, they still call him the favorite in this fight when that huge odds in the beginning. I will just be basing on their last fight, those lasted full 12 rounds, both have a tough chin, so yeah, it will reach 12 rounds in my book again.

Hehehe good to have my thoughts in agreement with yours. My only only wish for this is the sportsbooks begin offering the odds for over or under rounds betting on 7.5 rounds. This would imply that they might be expecting the fight to be a knockout victory for Canelo. GGG might use an intelligent jab similar to Bivol, however. Canelo bettors, you might develop post traumatic stress disorder after watching this heheheheh. It will not be easy for the middleweight champion.
2599  Economy / Gambling / Re: SandboxCasino.io サンドボックス It's Simple: Fun and Fair. on: July 06, 2022, 01:25:45 AM
@SammyGambler. I will assume that you are innocent unless proven guilty, however, the lesson for you is when Sandbox has frozen your $5000 before later allowing you to withdraw, you should have not sent it back to them. It was a warning about the service of the site already. Another lesson, do not use a VPN. VPNs are used by scammers and hackers which will give you an IP address that was used for scamming and hacking. They can use this as an excuse to freeze your account.

In hindsight I should have kept the $5k and never deposited again, but let me tell you why I didn’t:

-after initially banning me and refusing to pay the $5k, “Derek Wynn” from their risk management department took another look at the flag and realized it was an error on their part. He sent me a huge apology email and asked for my USDT wallet to send the $5k to immediately. When I didn’t receive it, I emailed him back and asked where it was. He sent me the blockchain link for the transaction,  but he accidentally sent it to BUSD (Binance) wallet instead of USDT wallet.

They sent you $5k 2 times? One in BUSD and the other transaction in USDT? You should connect your wallet to Binance smartchain. You might have BUSD in there hehehe.

I am very sorry for your situation, however, this is not very uncommon. What people do in bitcointalk is open a thread in scam accusations subforum and let the community discuss your case. It might not help you in making Sandbox send you back your money but it will help the community to become more careful on their own actions.

@KingsDen. In the beginning Michael Saylor bought bitcoins with his own company's cash reserves. This is good. Later, Michael Saylor borrowed money against his company or was it his company issued debt to buy bitcoins. This is okay. The last is Saylor has borrowed money against the bitcoins held by Microstrategy hehehe. What he has done and in the state of this market, I am not certain why much of the people consider him a genius.

In any case, I want his investment to be successful because this will also be good for all of our investments, however, looking at his investment strategy and calling him a genius is head shaking.
