I also did not know that the entry fee has been confirmed already to be .0025. I thought the address sent in my inbox was only to make it ready once the amount has been confirmed.

@ChiBitCTy. However, this news update might cause the Seattle Seahawks to begin inquiring for Garoppolo's services hehehe.

Now, the story has changed again. 49ers GM John Lynch spoke to KNBR’s Tom Tolbert today and seemed to indicate that we may be close to the time for the 49ers to just release Garoppolo rather than continuing to seek a trade.

2242  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-08-16] Mark Cuban Sued for Allegedly Promoting a Massive Crypto Ponzi on: August 24, 2022, 12:40:13 AM
@bittraffic. Mark Cuban the billionaire who is also the owner of the Dallas Mavericks being paid by Voyager which appears to be discovered as being a ponzi scheme? No, he will not descend to that type of scamming. He might be one of the seed investors, however hehehehe.

Mark Cuban was also a large holder of Iron Finance's token when its stablecoin depegged and the token dumped hehe.
2243  Economy / Speculation / Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: August 23, 2022, 03:48:55 AM
It appears that we have a new favorite crypto predictor. Our old favorite Tom Lee might have stopped making public predictions on bitcoin after 2018. This might have caused much psychological shock and damage on Tom hehehehe.

Our new favorite predictor is Jim Cramer hehe. Algod, a trader who predicted Terra's collapse, has been countertrading him and he appears to be making good trades.

Whale Who Bet $1M on Terra's Collapse Now Countertrading Jim Cramer

Algod posted an update on their “inverse Jim Cramer” account on Twitter Monday, announcing that they had doubled their profits since the account launched. Algod claims that they startedthe account with $50,000; its net value now shows as $101,440.71 in their post. “Some people work a 9-5 job, i simply just countertrade Jim Cramer… it’s not much but honest work,” Algod wrote.

There’s also an Inverse Cramer ETF Twitter account that likely inspired Algod, where over 84,000 followers track Cramer’s calls to ascertain what to bet against next.

2244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Tornado Cash mixing service is now blacklisted in US on: August 23, 2022, 02:51:19 AM
How is a service that's "fully decentralized", not have an option for a tor version or even have an option for one to run their own node and run a network of a censorship resistant decentralized service? I mean as soon as the sanction came into play, the main website went offline, default RPC protocols blocked, GitHub deleted, etc
Tornado Cash's contract is still up and running, that's where the decentralization comes from. You could claim that it's too hard to run your own Ethereum node (for the RPC access) and host your own copy of their frontend, but this is still possible.

Users can also interact with the smart contracts directly without the front end. Those smart contracts are also immutable because the ownership has been renounced.

Also, it has begun. Blocking addresses is expected from centralized exchanges, however, a Defi exchange is also blocking addresses that connects to Tornado Cash hehehe. This is head shaking. They might be very afraid of being arrested and given a lawsuit for moneylaundering.

Uniswap the Decentralised exchange has blocked 253 crypto addresses over the last four months that it worked with TRM Labs, which is a blockchain analytics firm. The reason behind the blocking was tied to connections with stolen funds.

This makes it the first ever time Uniswap disclosed data which is related to wallet blacklisting. These stolen funds were related to transaction mixing services that included Tornado Cash which was received as sanction from the US Treasury.

2245  Other / Archival / Re: FTX - Derivatives Exchange. My Review on: August 23, 2022, 01:20:22 AM
I speculate FTX might surpass Binance and become the biggest cryptocoin exchange and derivatives platform in the world on 2024. Also, with Sam Bankman Fried's political connections, FTX.us might use regulations to also surpass Coinbase in America.

In any case, if you are looking for altcoins to speculaton on for the next bull market, follow FTX and Alameda Research. They support Stargate Finance and the new project called Aptos which is speculated to be a Solana replacement hehehe.

Crypto exchange FTX has disclosed that its revenue skyrocketed to more than 1000% last year courtesy of the bull market that saw Bitcoin soaring to a record peak of $69,000, and pushing the company’s revenue from just under $90 million in 2020 to balloon to over $1 billion the following year.

Sam Bankman-Fried, FTX CEO, has confirmed a CNBC story that the company’s income grew by 1,000% as a result of a rising crypto market and a slew of acquisitions. The gain was attributed to the company’s global trading operation.

According to forecasts, FTX might make up to $1.1 billion this year. Documents also revealed that at the end of 2021, the company held nearly $2.5 billion in cash and had profit margins of 27%.

2246  Economy / Exchanges / Re: FTX froze user account for sending coins to privacy roll up on: August 23, 2022, 12:32:32 AM
FTX replied to the tweet.

Quote
We are aware of reports that FTX is warning users not to interact with Aztec.

As a result, we want to underscore our current and ongoing risk-reduction framework:

1) Implement practical deterrents
2) Measure their effectiveness

Privacy is legitimate:

https://mobile.twitter.com/aztecnetwork/status/1560710567249096704

Of course they are discouraging the use of mixers/privacy networks according to the thread is about deterring money-laundering and illicit activity. This is the end of privacy.

It must be a huge amount that they notice the user and they would question why would he need to use mixer or privacy networks?
A kind of an interrogation and I guess they'd will be tracing the funds. How many hops does Aztec do?

It is not a problem if FTX begins warning their users and to discourage them from using mixers, anonymous coins or privacy rollups. It is they're right as a business. However, if they're argument against mixers, anonymous coins and privacy rollups is many criminals use it, have they also considered that also many people who are not criminals use them also? Should we also ban everything the criminals use like cars and cellular phones?

4.  wheelz1200     Eli-2 Brady-0  << Guess

Hahahaha!  I'd say that's a pretty good guess.

morvillz7z was Taco Corp last year, so I'd say that's a good guess too.

Saylor Jerkers, I have no clue who's (or what) this is, so if your not on the list or its incorrect let me know.

Is there someone among us who thinks Michael Saylor is not a jerkoff?

Show of hands, please...

Saylor Jerkers is mine. It was Saylor Mooners, however, it is a bear market. I decided to change it to jerkers from the cryptocommunity term circle jerk hehehe. It would certainly need a very large amount of circle jerking to help and support each other mentally and make ourselves hodl through another 2 years of a bear market.
2248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: August 22, 2022, 01:22:33 AM
Have you all seen Joshua's behavior after the fight he is a very upset man he even throws the two belts the WBA and ring magazine title outside of the ring and even confronted Usyk and tells him how do you beat me, its a big disappointment for those who adorn and look up to him instead of congratulating Usyk he despises him, Usyk for his part is very calm, Usyk deserves the match and Joshua has no right to disrespect Usyk, he should be sanction for his action.

Anthony Joshua confronts Oleksandr Usyk after defeat & throws belts out of the ring

Yes, everything was very strange. After the fight, I reckon before the decision, everyone can see in Joshua's face that he knew that it was a loss for him already. However, after hearing that one of the judges gave the win to him, I speculate this was where his behavior began to change.

He also delivered a speech with a cheer in the ending. This made him appear that he needs to talk to a mental health professional hehehe.
2249  Economy / Exchanges / FTX froze user account for sending coins to privacy roll up on: August 22, 2022, 12:59:46 AM
It appears FTX is beginning to protect itself from being sanctioned if they allow deposits and withdrawals to any privacy enhancing networks or services. According to Wu Blockchain, FTX identified this privacy roll up for Ethereum called Aztec Network as a mixing service.

This might also only be the beginning. I predict within 10 years, we will have a world where much of the exchanges would begin blocking you if you use privacy enhancing services, networks and protocols.

Recently, FTX froze a user account who sent coins to @aztecnetwork's zkmoney. According to FTX, Aztec Connect - Aztec network / zk money has been identified as a mixing service, which is a high-risk activity prohibited by FTX.

2250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: August 22, 2022, 12:21:16 AM
That's just a marketing play I suppose. It gives people the thought "wow they're the future" and gives them an illusion that Elon is interested in the same things they are interested in. Musk is just a good businessman. I don't think that he has a lot of time to study the crypto market and get involved in it.

He might not have the time but Elon has the space to accommodate Blockchain enthusiasts, I believe the doge coin he was Shilling some months ago may have not be his idea, someone may have suggested that for him, he doesn't have time for diggings or DYOR in details. Some of his comments on doge coin scales more than bitcoin proves that he doesn't no shit about bitcoin, he is just a man who employee good guys with big IQ and talent to run his business, that's exactly how he successfully run Tesla and the launch of spaceX, he doesn't know how that shit work, people work for him.

You should begin to be skeptical on what Elon was really doing when he was shilling dogecoin. He knew what he was doing. Also, he has divorced from 3 wives who might have gotten a large share of his assets. He will be needing some extra money hehehehe and do not underestimate human greed.

Also, Elon has a large following in social media and he loves to troll. How can he profit from this? Shill a coin traded in an unregulated market where the SEC cannot give him legal problems. Elon is a cold blooded profiteer.

He could just easily create his own coin or token and just shill it to his massive amount of followers on all media platforms if he was in the quest for profits.
But he is not and just only loathes the attention he garners from giving attention to anything he wants to.
And this inturn brings more attention and thus profits to his own companies.

So if he was to do anything with cryptocurrenies than it wouldn't be to make any money out of it.
He obviously has enough coming in from the other companies he owns.

Yes he could, however, that might be within the legal jurisdiction of the SEC to charge him for selling and issuing illegal securities. Dogecoin is a cryptocoin issued through the utilization of proof of work. This is very much similar to bitcoin where the SEC cannot charge the issuers of the coin of the protocol.

What would be his purpose for shilling dogecoin if it was not to make money out of it? I reckon everyone who is presently here in the cryptospace is here to make money out of it.
2251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ] The Rematch - JOSHUA vs USYK II (updated thread) on: August 21, 2022, 01:18:58 AM
What is happening to AJ? Has he lost his drive, his motivation, his hunger? I mean, because I do not understand what's been going on with this champ. Has he made so much money that his heart in no longer in the sport? Totally appalled and embarrassed with his performance in the ring. The AJ I watched today stands no fighting chance against Fury and Wilder.

Yeah I agree there's so much hesitation on his part he is very tentative he just waited and waited for Usyk to come in and he is in a defensive mode, I thought he'll going to do another performance as he did with Ruiz, but it seems its a continuation on where both fighters left off, now the boxing community will take Usyk seriously and might pit him against Fury or Wilder.
Usyk could be the greatest heavyweight boxer of this generation after all, and I wonder what's next for Joshua.

Well looking at the scores, if Joshua will just have enough push in rounds 10-12, he could have been the winner. He just had a good round 9, but in round 10 and onwards, his legs is gone, seems to gassing out as there is no power from his punch.

Let's hear from Fury, maybe he will get out of retirement? Or maybe not since Joshua lost and there is no need for an all out war between 2 Brits in the Heavyweight. Congrats to Usyk I think he can clean up the division not name Fury. I think he can beat any version of Wilder with this technical boxing.

The revenge of Joshua's countryman hehehe. If the money is right, I reckon Fury would fight anyone in the boxing ring.

Also, agreed that Usyk can beat any version of Wilder, however, any version of Wilder can knockout Usyk. Usyk is also small for a heavyweight. His real weight division is in cruiserweight or light heavyweight.
2252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Vasiliy Lomachenko vs Jamaine Ortiz - October on: August 20, 2022, 05:09:38 AM
Not a cherry pick but probably a tune up fight for Loma before facing Haney, assuming both of them win.

Hehehe similar reply to @bittraffic, not probably. It certainly is only a tune up fight before his next one in the ring which I speculate might not be for the championship against the winner of Haney vs. Kambosos. It might be Lomachenko's next fight after Ortiz that will be the official championship eliminator. The opponent might also be one of the top 5 ranked lightweight boxers with a name. Ryan Garcia or Isaac Cruz?
I thought the WBO preserved Lomachenko as its mandatory due to the war in Ukraine? And even before this announcement, Top Rank already guaranteed undisputed champ Haney that he will take Lomachenko after his Kambosos fight, it also said that Lomachenko will have a tune-up fight too. So this should be that tune-up fight. Ortiz is an exciting fighter although his low KO rate might mean that Loma can be more aggressive to score a KO.

I knew these Ukrainian fighters aren't really at their 100% until the war is over. But I hope it is still enough to secure their wins. Boxing fans, stay tuned to this weekend's heavyweight championship rematch between Loma's very close friend Oleksandyr Usyk battling against former champ Anthony Joshua.

It appears that it has been decided already. Thank you for correcting me. I had hoped that we see a championship eliminator between 2 big names in the lightweight division because Devin Haney already has 4 of the belts and he certainly deserves a bigger event, I reckon. However, Lomachenko is a big name for our young champion. If he wins this he deserves to fight the biggest names in the division, King Ray and Tank.

@cabron. I speculate 7.00 or 8.00 for Ortiz if Lomachenko is 1.10 hehehe.
2253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: August 20, 2022, 04:53:39 AM
Right, early leans:
- Usman
- Aldo
- Amir Albazi
- Luke Rockhold

Luke being my most uncertain, depends what type of Costa turns up on the night.

Agreed on Luke Rockhold, however, I choose him for another type of reason. Paulo Costa might show up here in very good form but everyone might be underestimating Luke Rockhold's takedown and overestimates Costa's defense for this. Rockhold is very much aware that his chin has left his body hehehe. He will wrestle and hold down Costa for 3 rounds and plan to win this through a decision.

@YuginKadoya. I also agree on the King of Rio Aldo hehehe. Another former champion who is underestimated for this event.

@Kakmakr. The Bitcoin community gets the blame for what?

I speculate that Mark Cuban is really an Ethereum maximalist and people like him will use Ethereum's switch to proof of stake to stengthen the argument that proof of work is harmful for the environment and uses too much electricity. Also, I have wanted to say this prediction, however, everyone might accuse me of antagonizing again hehehe. The prediction is Tesla will buy and hold proof of stake Ethereum.
2256  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2022-06-17] Bitcoin mining becomes unprofitable as BTC price falls on: August 20, 2022, 03:28:04 AM
This bitcoin mining company made a decision to return mining equipment to settle a debt.
This perfectly shows how mismanagement of funds could have a negative impact on a certain company! CMIIW, but from what I understood, they were already in debt at the time they requested more mining rigs and that's a huge gamble on something that doesn't even have a static outcome [SMH]!
- FWIW, I equally blame the lender as well.

It might not only because of mismanagement if it has occured. It is really showing that the cryptospace economy is also going through a recession. Much of the miners' earnings also depend on the speculation that the prices of proof of work coins in the market are going up.

In any case, if they were already in debt when they requested more mining equipment, I reckon this is not only mismanagement, this might also be their way of speculating that the bull market will return and bitcoin would begin pumping. It was a risky business decision that did not go according to what they might have predicted.

News update.

This bitcoin mining company made a decision to return mining equipment to settle a debt. It appears that there will either be bitcoin miners that does not want to get a loan to maintain their monthly cashflow or no lender is willing to provide loans for bitcoin miners because they are at higher risk of being unprofitable during a bear market.

Bitcoin mining can bring some promises of good fortune, but given the unpredictable nature of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, the activity can go sideways and force even the most well-funded company to resort to desperate measures – like selling equipment to stay afloat.

Stronghold Digital Mining announced on Wednesday that it will return over 26,000 bitcoin mining machines to New York Digital Investment Group in exchange for the cancellation of $67.4 million in debt.

2259  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto lender Celsius mulls possible restructuring amid financial woes on: August 19, 2022, 01:10:33 AM
It appears it was not only Celsius' involvement with Luna and UST that caused the cryptolender's bankruptcy. Their CEO has made himself the head of their cryptocoin trading strategy. I reckon that we should look around the cryptospace and know which other CEOs or company executives are doing something similar hehehhe.
And yet people still think that those at the top know what they are doing while in reality they are not better than many of us noobs that are buying high and selling low.  Cheesy

I very much agree! 3 Arrows Capital was the most recent example of this that showed that some experienced crypto hedge fund managers are also just gambling on volatile market moves with unsustainably high leverage hehehe. Everyone thought Su Zhu's posts in social media was to trick his followers to buy if he was selling or sell if he was buying, however, what he was posting was the whole truth heehehe.

@johhnyUA. It could collapse, however, another currency will take over as the international currency of choice for international trade. However, if we do not move away from reality, we cannot be quite as certain as the maximalists that the next currency adopted for international trade would be bitcoin. But the maximalists will not tell you this. They will only continue the circle jerk and tell you everything will go to 0 and there is nothing else but bitcoin.
