@morvillz7z. Tua was walking on his own two feet going to the tunnel, however. Doctors would never let him play if he had a bad concussion.

Also, yes the safety hehehehe. The commentators were saying they did not need it.

There was also Tua's long pass to Jaylen Waddle going near the endzone on a 3rd down and was it 20 yards?
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 26, 2022, 12:42:12 AM
My team has been lucky for week 2 and week 3 with Lamar and Amari Cooper hehe. I am quite certain this is not very sustainable, however. Cam Akers, Christian McCaffrey and Mike Evans will need to create more fantasy points than projected when Lamar and Cooper cannot produce week 2 type of performances.

I am also quite surprised that some analysts have hyped the 49ers being playoff contenders again with Jimmy G. This game will show if they are right or wrong hehe.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 25, 2022, 01:32:13 AM
Hehehe similar to much of these fantasy matchups it was luck. Steelers defense was not very good. Amari Cooper would never have a similar performance vs. the Bills' defense.

In any case, I was going to risk using Atlanta defense if Cooper did not give me 2x the fantasy points projected.
Cooper was in fact on my radar but I decided to stay away from him because I thought that he was on a boom or bust situation in which he could do very well or he could do horribly.

However, I might not be that lucky. McCaffrey's Q might be more serious than what is being reported. If I knew he has a high percentage of being injured in a season, I would have picked Justin Taylor.

He's one of the biggest first-round injury worries heading into 2022. According to the Injury Predictor tool, McCaffrey has been injured six times since college (ankle, hamstring, glute, shoulder, ankle, hip), and he has an 84-percent chance of injury this year (10.2-percent chance in each game). Overall, he’s projected to miss 2.2 games, but clearly the risk is there for more.

If McCaffrey can stay healthy during the whole season I think there is very little doubt that he will be the top scorer, so it was not the worst decision that you could have taken at the time, you just took the risk and unfortunately it seems that it may not pay off, however you made the draft interesting from the very first pick with your gutsy decision, and for those that are just playing for fun that is invaluable.

It is not gutsy. It is risky and it showed that I did not do much research on the players in the first round of the draft. I am playing for fun yes, however, I also want to win the money hehehehee.

I will be watching the Dolphins versus the Bills more closely. Mike McDaniels have 2 wins versus 2 good football teams. This game versus the Bills might make him something like a playbook genius if Dolphins win.

@electronicash. I would not speculate or think that their opposition against the cryptospace is because they hate it. They are hating it because they do not understand it and much of this not understanding is in Defi and NFT. I reckon if you want to be rich in the next bull market, invest in projects similar to Jpegd and Sudoswap. The storyline will be about NFT lending and NFT direct swapping through Defi.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: September 24, 2022, 05:45:59 AM
The way PBC is treating Crawford, I don't they will be able to sign him if he beats Spence except for a 1 or 2 fights deal that would guarantee a title shot against undisputed super middleweight champion Jermell Charlo. After that, I think he is headed to DAZN.

As a knowledgeable in boxing, do you think that regardless of who will win on this match between Spence and Crawford, they will face Jermell Charlo next at the super middleweight?

Or a rematch is bound to happen first?

I really like that this fight between Spence and Crawford should happen now to now end the issues of who's the best in the Welterweight and finally will move on to their next plan.

There is a high chance that a rematch is bound to happen first regardless of the result, I don't think that Spence or Crawford will just move-on without having a second bout to try and settle their scores. Also, a rematch clause was stated and that's expected as this is an undisputed fight and a measurement on who's really the best boxer in the welterweight division.

An immediate rematch clause regardless of the result? What if Crawford knocks out Spence in round 1 or if Spence knocks out Crawford also in round 1? Does this not make the rematch not very marketable for the promoters and also not very tempting to watch for the fans? I reckon there must be a clause within the rematch clause hehe.

Also, Bob Arum said that Crawford will beat Spence. But how can we trust Arum when he was hurt by Crawford when he left Top Rank for free agency.

“I really believe Terence is the better fighter and will beat Spence when they fight, although I expect it’ll be a tremendous fight. That remains to be seen,” said Arum when asked if Spence – Crawford will be on the level of the 1980s fight between Sugar Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns.

One reason why Connor and Floyd fight was because Floyd wants to prove boxing is a better sport. This is then where Pauls got the idea that they can make money using twitter to fight MMA fighters in boxing. 😁

Anyway. It really is somehoa unfair for other fighters who started from the ground and has to fight a list of monsters for the chance of title fight. Peirera did it well and I think Dana couldn't find one that coud challenge Adesanya.

However, the only real reason why Floyd Mayweather has agreed to fight Conor McGregor is money. Floyd knew that Conor will never win against him in the boxing ring.

In any case, for the next event we have our favorite sexy fighting kitten Mackenzie Dern. She is BJJ expert hehehehee.

So not really news.  Just a mouthpiece expelling hot air.

Agreed. It is head shaking why until know some people think this is news hehe. Jamie Dimon has declared that bitcoin would only be valuable in a dystopian world, he also said that he will fire any JPMorgan employee if they are trading bitcoin. However, last year JPMorgan gave their clients access to 6 cryptofunds hehehe.

With little fanfare, JPMorgan Chase has started giving its wealth management clients access to six crypto funds in the past month.

2128  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UK Regulator Warns Exchange FTX Is Providing Services Without Authorization on: September 24, 2022, 02:38:23 AM
Agreed. However, the argument is also because FTX belongs to an industry where it does not have clear regulations. Regulators like to squeeze money from opportunites that bear the lowest hanging fruit. It will not be shocking if they began doing more of this in this economy hehehehe. Similar to what @NeuroticFish said, because you know, crypto. I am also quite certain that you would agree with me that the government cannot be completely trusted.
2129  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UK Regulator Warns Exchange FTX Is Providing Services Without Authorization on: September 23, 2022, 06:56:47 AM
@stompix. Agreed that extortion might be the wrong word to use, however, the argument is the same. The economy must be very bad if they begin going after cryptoexchanges again to collect fees and fines hehehe. But the economy in the United Kingdom might not be as bad as the economy of America. The American regulators have begun to crackdown on smaller cryptoprojects hehehehe.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued an order filing and settling charges against blockchain software protocol bZeroX and its founders, the CFTC announced in a press release Thursday.
The order penalizes the protocol and its founders Tom Bean and Kyle Kistner $250,000 for offering illegal, off-exchange trading of digital assets, registration violations and neglecting to adopt a customer ID program required by the Bank Secrecy Act compliance program.

The CFTC has simultaneously filed a civil enforcement action charging the Ooki DAO, the successor to bZeroX, with violating the same laws as bZeroX. It seeks restitution, disgorgement, civil monetary penalties, trading and registration bans and injunctions against further violations.

What sports were you betting when those sportsbooks blocked you and when was this?

In any case, yes sportsbet.io is one of the biggest sportsbooks in the cryptospace that has made its brand known the market for mainstream sportsbettors. It might be a chance for Sportsbet to make the cryptospace more known to them through NFT promos hehe.

The best games in a live casino for me is roulette and baccarat. If you like slot machines, you should try roulette. If you like live card games, play baccarat. This is much less boring than blackjack, I reckon.

This was probably around 2010-2015, it was just because of location. In those days you could use any type of debit cards, even virtual ones, no need name or address. Then they allowed bank deposit, then they only allowed countries where the license allowed.

Crypto changed all of that Smiley

How is Blackjack boring? You should try out the different formats in live. Now they got stuff like Lightning blackjack, cool dealers who joke, it's super fun trust me.
When the dealer is nice or when some players are making jokes in the chat, I agree with you it's very funny even if you are losing but when the dealer is sleeping or acting like a robot, it could be very boring, especially if you are the only player at the table. Dealers are very different from one to another, some don't care about you and are just doing their job while others are almost playing with you and are happy when you win and disappointed when you lose lol.

Which is your favorite provider for playing Baccarat and Roulette @bbc.reporter? Have you tried 7mojos? I really like their crazy camera movements and their dealer costumes.
Do you play baccarat with or without commission BTW?

I do not play much table games if I am being honest with you. I do not know the difference between no commission and with commission. I also do not care much about this because I only bet what is left in my unused balance after placing all of my bets on sports and wish to get lucky hehehe.

It appears you are an expert in baccarat? Can you give me some advice on good strategies? I only bet banker because they say it has lower house edge.

@nutildah Amari Cooper's good performances are quite unexpected considering that they are playing Jacoby Brissett, a substitute quarterback for the massage man hehehe. I hope having Massage Watson on the field after the suspension on week 6 will not destroy how the Browns play. He has not played for more than 1 season.
2133  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UK Regulator Warns Exchange FTX Is Providing Services Without Authorization on: September 22, 2022, 03:56:34 AM
What is head shaking with this news development is FTX is an exchange that works very closely with regulators from different jurisdictions

I'd guess that they've missed something (or they're simply late with some papers) and FCA took the opportunity to bash them because, you know, crypto.
There may be that FTX has to voluntarily send all the KYC details over certain turnover, there may be that FTX has to send all UK users' financial reports to the authorities by default and they didn't... it's difficult to please the authorities and, as I said, probably FTX has missed something.

FTX may lose a few potential customers because of this, but imho it's nothing big actually (neither the problem, nor the loss).

This might also be because Sam Bankman-Fried has become the next target after CZ because FTX has become so big and influential in the cryptospace and this influence is beginning to flow into traditional finance. It also does not help Sam that he has $22 billion under his control. The government might want much of this hehehehe.

The next Warren Buffett: Why the world is going crazy over the 30-year-old billionaire

How do you picture a multi-billionaire? They have luxury homes, cars, buildings, yachts, and several workers, Right? But Samuel Bankman-Fried breaks all those barriers and appears to be the world’s most humble billionaire who believes in donating all his wealth. He is the founder and CEO of FTX, the best cryptocurrency exchange ever built to trade in derivatives. At just the age of 30, Samuel Bankman-Fried has amassed over $22 billion, making him the youngest crypto billionaire in the world.

2134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Michael Saylor margin call if Bitcoin dumps below $21,000 on: September 22, 2022, 02:45:59 AM
I am not quite certain why Michael Saylor continues to buy bitcoin right before a dump begins. If bitcoin continues to dump he might become a forced seller and be forced to dump some of those coins to control his losses. I reckon an investor must sometimes reduce the size of the investment to keep much of it away from risk.

On September 20, 2022, MicroStrategy Incorporated (“MicroStrategy”) announced that, during the period between August 2, 2022 and September 19, 2022, MicroStrategy acquired approximately 301 bitcoins for approximately $6.0 million in cash, at an average price of approximately $19,851 per bitcoin, inclusive of fees and expenses. 2135  Economy / Speculation / Re: Countertrading Jim Cramer on Bitcoin on: September 22, 2022, 02:16:43 AM
Tom Lee, Jim Cramer, other bullish influencers and recently Barry Silbert. We cannot be certain if these influencers are telling us the truth or if they are only manipulating their followers to buy and for them to dump. However, it might also be similar to Su Zhu of 3 Arrows where everyone thought he was manipulating everyone but the truth was he was very desperate because he had losing trades on leverage and he really wanted his followers to buy hehehehehehehee.

2136  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: September 22, 2022, 01:30:19 AM
News update on Tether.

It appears a judge has ordered Tether to prove the backing of USDT. I am not certain how they are going to prove this because as we have speculated before, Tether has fractionalized already. This might have begun during 2019 when Tether's market capitalization started increasing with a higher rate.

Despite entailing the title of the “world’s largest stablecoin” Tether [USDT] continues to drown in troubled waters. The network was slapped with a lawsuit for issuing USDT in order to pump the price of Bitcoin BTC. This market manipulation lawsuit has been going on for quite some time now and has taken another turn. This time, it wasn’t in favor of the stablecoin.

It was brought to light that a U.S. Judge in New York dismissed Tether’s motion that blocked the release of its financial records. Therefore, the network now has to produce an array of documents pertaining to the backing of USDT. This list includes, “general ledgers, balance sheets, income statements, cash-flow statements, and profit and loss statements.” In addition to this, the stablecoin firm has to present records of any transfers of crypto or other stablecoins. Minor details like the time of the transaction were also demanded.

2137  Economy / Exchanges / Re: UK Regulator Warns Exchange FTX Is Providing Services Without Authorization on: September 21, 2022, 04:52:04 AM

FTX probably expected this sort of attack from authorities as they saw Binance get entangled with such pressure. They wouldn't call it extortion but its the same that they have to be regulated also not just in UK but also by the regulators of other countries because they need to comply in order to operate legally.

These are centralized exchanges, for now, dealing with DEX will be more disturbing I guess.

What is head shaking with this news development is FTX is an exchange that works very closely with regulators from different jurisdictions. It is what gives them their advantage against their competitors. This might be extortion. It would also not be shocking if crypto exchanges in the United Kingdom are classified more closer to gambling sites than brokerage firms.
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: September 21, 2022, 03:27:02 AM
What we have been speculating is beginning. A strictly regulated stablecoin market might give the regulators the power on how much goes in the cryptospace. If cashflow going in is short, there will not be enough liquidity, not enough expansion. It appears we also need to bring back the state of the cryptospace as it was before 2017 when much of the most lquid markets were traded and valued in bitcoin.

Draft legislation to create a U.S. federal framework around stablecoins would temporarily ban the types of payment coins that are not backed by outside assets — similar to TerraUSD, an algorithmic stablecoin that collapsed earlier this year.

Nonbank issuers of stablecoins backed by fiat currency would also be overseen by state banking regulators and the Federal Reserve, according to a source familiar with discussions and draft text obtained by The Block.

Banks or credit unions could issue their own stablecoins, which would be overseen by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp., both of which serve as federal bank regulators in the United States.

Okay, thank you. I honestly have not explored the whole Yahoo fantasy app. I also should stop talking about my planned waiver pick ups next time until I have the player in my team hehehe. My next opponent for week 3 is a strong one with the new MVP Josh Allen, Kupp and Saquon. I will certainly need some luck from the waiver wire hehehehe.
2140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: September 21, 2022, 12:31:16 AM
Lance and Shanahan want to play a very physical form of football and the fact he got injured so soon after a play which looks like the hundreds we see every week should be a cause of concern, maybe the kid was unlucky but I do not like what it could mean for the long term prospects of Lance's carrer.

Niners will trade Lance to Atlanta for a high draft pick, and draft a new QB.

Just throwing it out there for a chance to say "I told you so" if any of this happens.

I agree with this. We cannot be certain where he might be traded, however. Who would be willing to trade for an overhyped, unimpressive rookie and now a presently broken quarterback?

In any case, when do we know if the players we picked from the waiver wire are approved or disapproved? Does the commissioner have control on who gets the player if more than one fantasy player picked the same player?
