demand died out as every coin that comes out fails to gain value and multipools dump it to oblivion. Investors have become very selective on which coins to buy
I REALLY hope this is the case - it's downright damaging to have 10 billion new coins flood the market bringing nothing but empty promises - I feel SO sorry for all of the noobs that invested in crap coin after crap coin ending up with horrific losses all round.  |

I think this can be huge. I like this coin. I'm beginning mine it with my 1.5 mhs.
It totally will be + Excellent communicative developer / team with long term goals + Extreme rarity (~1/12 BTC!) + Exciting projects in the works (MADEsparq) + Different take on Crypto than most (wealth store not necessarily everyday currency) + Safe from miner dumping as block reward is 0.156250 I got myself a few hundred ( wish I had more BTC to invest in CGB at this point) more when the price was below $1, already doubled my investment  FR |

Nice site - it's a shame that there is a crypto called 'Worldcoin' out there as when I saw the link I instantly thought it was an index of the Worldcoin currency  Still - nice job tho - I will bookmark this for future use. |

Ripple is not a 'scam', and the currency is XRP (Ripple is the protocol the network uses) - Its just a different way of approaching digital currency, XRP is under total control from a central organisation as opposed to decided upon by the majority. As 'indicated' Ripple Labs created ~100,000,000,000 coins and are in the process of distributing them to as many people as possible. They did this first through several early adopter giveaways, and then turned to rewarding participants of the BOINC/World Community Grid distributed number crunching platform. The WCG idea is actually brilliant as collectively we are helping fight cancer, discover better methods of energy harvesting and helping Aids research beat the disease once and for all.
With 100,000,000,000 coins in total XRP will never be worth thousands per coin, I estimate 1 XRP will be worth ~ $0.10 in a few years - perhaps more / sooner if it really takes off. Currently its hovering around the $0.02 mark. The amount of XRP is controlled by Ripple Labs, they can add more or take some away - this is very different to how Bitcoin and all the millions of alt-coins work as you are putting your faith in Ripple Labs and not a volatile market made up of self interested parties. Is this better? That's one of the decisions you have to make.
So if you invest some money/BTC into XRP and leave it alone you may well make a profit on your investment, you may also make a loss if XRP drops or goes under. Welcome to the world of virtual currency!

I'm becoming less confident in WDC. At this point in time, there just isn't enough interest in it. Everyone knows what 's coming, but hardly anyone is investing? For me that shows a huge amount of skepticism. Have Scharmbeck outlined any marketing plans for launch?
Agreed, so, what exactly does Worldcoin have that (say) the other top 15 cryptos do not? Every coin claims to have a fantastic community behind it, most modern coins have fast transaction times, are "secure" as they are based on BTC/LTC source, and its certainly not that rare in comparison to some of the other wealth-store coins. So why should I invest in it? What is its USP? - if you can show me that Overstock/Amazon/Ebay will start accepting it fantastic, all in! - but unless there is a REAL game changer * in the pipeline ( different from any other coin and actually useful) its just another coin that sits amongst the hundreds... *WDC to FIAT is not that bigger deal as soon most coins will get this through Cryptsy |

The sync issue will be around until the next client update. It just means the difficulty is higher and the global mining hash rate is low for it.
When is the next client update going to be released? *Bump* Update from the dev please? Issues need to be fixed before the coin stands any chance of appreciating in value. |
