Why is this having so much trouble moving up on the exchanges?

We are sitting at ~4800 and this is what I see:
The amount of BTC in orders from 4800 to 4700 is 12 BTC
The amount of BTC in orders from 4800 to 4900 is 0.3 BTC
The amount of BTC in orders from 4800 to 5000 is 2.4 BTC

Stop bid shopping and slap the ask, then maybe you guys will actually help support an upward trend.
Sure you get cheaper WDC if you bid shop, but then after you get filled, it will only continue sinking and everyone loses.
There is no point in amassing coins if the value of them just keeps dropping day by day.

Hello! After mining WDC for the last 2 days I checked the logs and I had 2 orphans:( well i know... it happens, but the curious fact is that one block was indeed generated and payed to a WDC address that starts with "1"... I mean, ours start with "w" right?

we need android wallet, we need android wallet! so many other coins have android wallets already, and its SO EASY to carry some small funds around and pay someone.

Its so Essential for real business to accept worldcoin! People can not carry their laptop to buy a cup of coffee.

(im running a internet cafe and I accept bitcoin. Most ppl use bitcoin android wallet to pay me on site)

I saw the android wallet project is there but stop moving on for long long time.

Is there any way to push it?

Thanks,

Thats so funny man that address is likely the reason of orphan. Some newbie miners must be pointing their bitcoin address to worldcoin p2pool.

+1. The Scharmbeck mobile client is good but a real wallet would be better. Dogecoin already has an android wallet.

I run p2pool nodes and also develop code for p2pool so i'm sorry to say that your statement is invalid... If I point anything but a VALID address to p2pool, the amount generated either remains on the p2pool wallet or on the specified payout address that the p2pool op has.

Ok, I still don't get it... how can this happen and more than that, the wallet address has more than 1 valid wdc blockchain transactions on it.

http://wdc.cryptocoinexplorer.com/address/1HDaL8YaYWwsnAjLTj1952EWuFvhuavqCd

i mean... it even is a valid BTC address:

I just wonder what advantage has worldcoin and scharmbeck comparing to bitcoin and bitpay. Is there any? Bitpay confirms payments very quickly and together with bitcoin and its community it is much much much more developed and established than scharmbeck.

I'm mining at wdc.nut2pools.com, and that has gone fairly well. Recently, NUT2 shut down its three stratum servers, one in Texas, one in California and one in New York, in favor of a SuperStratum server, a US based server. With NUT2's previous configuration I was literally mining from Louisiana at nearly 0% stales and 0% rejects. Now, in my test machine that I also use for some other things, (I have 2-7950 in that machine), one runs at Intensity 14, that card gets a really low, .5% stale rate. The other card runs at stock settings and hashes at about 515 khash/s, Intensity 19 and it gets nearly 4% stales.

I have several 3 card rigs, and the stales/rejects on them are at about 4% at this time, so I'm losing a considerable amount of coin compared to NUT2's previous multi server Stratum configuration.

I tried pool.d2.cc, and it dies a lot, failover and auto miner restart are indicated often in CGWatcher logs as a result of having that set as Pool '0' in CGWatcher. And I've read some horror stories about lost coin, and downtime at this pool.

Mineworks having just come out of Beta, well, that's got some maturation issues as well, but I mined with them before they did their major overhaul and it was good, sometimes very good.

What is the best US based pool, with a US server at which to mine Worldcoin? Thanks in advance for any replies. I'm sticking with NUT2 for now as NUT2 seems to communicate quite well, and that's important as well.

Yeah, I agree with you here. I dropped a couple of hundred WDC yesterday as I'm still not convinced about WDC. If they can get some adoption of the coin then great, but Bitcoin is the only crypto I can see getting adopted in the medium term.

Eventually Bitcoin will become unprofitable to mine and focus could shift away from it as the big miners look at altcoins. However, that's a long time away and by then I would imagine there will be plenty of exchanges that allow you to trade different types crypto for fiat really easily.

I may very well be wrong, but I'm becoming less confident in WDC.  At this point in time, there just isn't enough interest in it. Everyone knows what 's coming, but hardly anyone is investing? For me that shows a huge amount of skepticism. Have Scharmbeck outlined any marketing plans for launch?

For the record, I really hope Worldcoin takes off Smiley.

Agreed, so, what exactly does Worldcoin have that (say) the other top 15 cryptos do not? Every coin claims to have a fantastic community behind it, most modern coins have fast transaction times, are "secure" as they are based on BTC/LTC source, and its certainly not that rare in comparison to some of the other wealth-store coins. So why should I invest in it? What is its USP? - if you can show me that Overstock/Amazon/Ebay will start accepting it fantastic, all in! - but unless there is a REAL game changer* in the pipeline (different from any other coin and actually useful) its just another coin that sits amongst the hundreds...

*WDC to FIAT is not that bigger deal as soon most coins will get this through Cryptsy

Well, if we knew that we'd be millionaires Wink

I personally pulled some of mine out and put them into Litecoin, just to spread my investment a bit. I hardly have anything invested in cryptocurrency though as it's essentially just gambling at the moment. Only reason I'm worried for WDC is that there is hardly any community or hype, but that might change when Scharmbeck gets launched.

Time will tell for this coin, I'm holding on to some in the hope that it gets adopted.
