261  Economy / Economics / Re: Electronic Money vs. Physical Money on: February 07, 2018, 02:57:17 PM
Hi guys, I just want to know your views and opinion about the difference in Electronic Money (Bitcoin and others) and the Physical Money. Many people now a days are still confuse about the existence of the Bitcoin and how it differ from our Physical Money that we are using to buy necessity. I hope we could share and learn from each other.  Wink Smiley

This topic became trending today, in the transition of our currency from our traditional money to digital. Advancement serves as an opportunity for digital money to boom since it primarily talks about technology. In terms of their differences, I could say that digital money is very REVOLUTIONARY for it changes our traditional way of using a certain money.

262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: February 07, 2018, 02:40:04 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?

We can say that Bitcoin is still popular even though a lot of coins arise in the market. In addition, I don't think that Bitcoin's price volatility always bring negative outcome to its users and to the Bitcoin itself because this serves as an opportunity to other people to buy or sell their Bitcoins.
263  Economy / Economics / Re: wait for bitcoin prices to go up on: February 07, 2018, 06:11:34 AM
will this year be the same as last year's year after the Chinese New Year's celebration of the bitcoin price rises again and even exceeds the previous high, I expect bitcoin to rise from this decline, and we as users should be able to keep the price in the way we do not panic at seeing a price drop because this is all just a matter of time

can bitcoin rise after the turn of the new lunar year later?

With great patience comes with great profit.
Though it sounds funny, this means a lot. I believe and I hope that it will be back to normal after this dump. Actually this price drop doesn't always bring negative outcomes but also positive. We can use this opportunity to buy Bitcoins and expect big profit when it pumps. We shouldn't act as newbies, panicking when experienced price dump and sell all their bitoins.
264  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: February 07, 2018, 05:53:57 AM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?

Somehow, it is correct for you must have knowledge when engaging in cryptos. However, this knowledge not always refers to academic thingy but can be the knowledge in real life application like deciding for the right thing to do in a stressful situations. It is adviceable to have a research first especially when you trade, this is very important to avoid being fooled.
265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth? on: February 01, 2018, 03:55:50 PM
Does Social Media Influence bitcoin growth?

I believe that Social media plays an important role for the growth of Bitcoin, actually, media in general.
Social media connects everybody, we can share our opinion, information and entertainment because of it. Not surprising why it contributes to the popularity of Bitcoin. Even there are many rumors about the credibility  if Bitcoin there are still individuals that take the risk of this new trend. They share it to their friends or even family and hence, additional supporters of Bitcoin will arise
266  Economy / Economics / Re: Cashless society on: February 01, 2018, 03:51:53 PM
I don't think that it will work for a long run, it comes from a number of adjustments. In fact, a lot of problems are possible to encounter. Obviously, it runs thru the internet so without internet no transactions will happen and no opportunity for Bitcoin therefore. Not everything are capable or has enough knowledge to engage in this changes, it will hard to adjust themselves especially they were born in a society that is using tangible currency.
267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin? on: February 01, 2018, 03:47:07 PM
Is there any way to destroy the bitcoin?  Not to hack or fake it but completely destroy the system.

Is there? No way!If it is going to happen that bitcoin will destroy, what will happen to us. i've already quit my job so that i will focus in bitcoin.I am really afraid if it is happening that bitcoin will destroy.I hope is not going to happen.

That is why quitting your job with replace to Bitcoin  is very impractical. I think you shouldn't do that sir because it was too risky given the fact that you don't have any back-up to support yourself financially. We should treat Bitcoin as our additional source of income and our real job as primary or vise versa depending on what you want, just be sure that you will not surrender one of it like what you did.
268  Economy / Economics / Re: panic selling on: February 01, 2018, 01:18:41 PM
What if somebody will make a huge dump and sell it all the way to earn some profits because of this rally in bitcoin, and someone sees it and do that same thing. Is there any effect on bitcoin when someone to this,?

I would consider panic selling as the worse thing you can ever made in crypto currency.

Seems like you are beaten by your emotion and that is the foolest way of being a looser. All the your gain becomes waste in a single period of time without being hesitated to the outcome. We don't need to have a wide range of knowledge about Bitcoin, we just need to understand its basic concept.
269  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money? on: February 01, 2018, 12:49:42 PM
Bitcoin has been proclaimed dead 89 times. It has been labeled a Ponzi scheme and a failed experiment. Writers have argued for it to be forgotten and for developers to move on to greener pastures. But moving beyond this rhetoric, it’s not all that difficult to compare the rise of bitcoin to that of another technology: the World Wide Web. http://blockgeeks.com/questions/what-is-your-future-predictions-of-bitcoin/#comment-604

I think it will be more useful in the near future but not to the extent that it will be the prior currency worldwide. Bitcoin is continuously accepting by big companies to serve as payment becoming it more stronger. With the help of our new era, Bitcoin has given a way to become more popular and to become a future money.
270  Economy / Economics / Re: The lack of financial education on: January 29, 2018, 05:08:28 AM
The lack of financial education in general is a worrying problem. We teach students about literature, maths, science, ... and we tell them that those are the things they need to know in life. Yet usually, the largest single expense they will have on their lives is a house, and that normally comes with a mortgage. Yet, only a few schools will tell them what should they be expecting, the risks and the consequences of such a contract.

Bitcoin and alts is another case in which people are carefully kept in ignorance by the governments and lobbies.

What can we do to make more people interested in economy and finance and to better educate the youth so that they don´t get ripped-off?

Maybe this impression is correct before but now it become unjustifiable. Today we can access almost everything very quick with the help of internet. If you don't know a certain thing it will be your fault because you don't do anything to know it. A lot of articles, news, blogs etc. that concerns about your problem. The only thing we might do is to search for it; I believe that being a spoon feed should not arise this time.
271  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2018, 03:58:21 PM
what makes bitcoin appealing, in other words: what is the "breaking the ice" part about bitcoin that you can tell a newbie in a sentence or two, too pull them into this crypto journey BTC @millzp0

I will probably choose its volatility feature for it will be resulted for a bigger income. We know that many individuals are holding their bitcoin for one major reason, to received a bigger profit in the near future. It change every single moment and it will be very risky if you are not good enough or strategic enough to cope with this sudden changes.
272  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin to be international currency on: January 25, 2018, 03:52:56 PM
If bitcoin to be international currency, what do you think?
You can use it every where and anywhere, without exchange it.
And how to use transaction with it, if bitcoin just crypto currency?
How many people like with this thread?

First of all we must think first the chance of making it as an international currency because I believe that it was impossible to happen. There are still people that can't access Bitcoin or not even know about it. It runs through the internet but there are still countries who have problem about this need. We should first address these possible problems before thinking about how it will be moderated.
273  Economy / Economics / Re: Do bitcoin millonaires deserve their wealth? on: January 25, 2018, 03:29:05 PM
It is know that bitcoin has made a few millionaires, but many of these people don´t have any particular knowledge of the economy nor business. Do you think that is a fair situation?
I believe they deserved it especially if it made in a good way. They tend to spend a lot of time to it and sacrifice their sleep. It is given that you can gain much bigger profit from Bitcoin compared to just normal job but it also takes great effort and patience to succeeded. Only few can do it for many individuals wanted an easy money. Lazy people don't have an overwhelming success.
274  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin need to be taxed? on: January 25, 2018, 02:39:46 PM
Base from my recent post "Does bitcoin could be call a job?" I have read your opinions regarding to that. Doing these things is a form of earning money basically we have income. So does it need to be taxed? Because this is also a source of income, and we might call it as a job?

It will be good in general for we benefit from our tax, from roads, bridges, parks etc. Also, it was a good news to the government for they will also gain profit from it.
On the other hand, it will be a burden especially to small earners like me. Some say that we are so desperate to gain profit but the reality is that profit really matters and serves as the major reason why they/we are still working here.
275  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is banned by the government on: January 24, 2018, 03:10:24 PM
is not that bitcoin able to change the state of its users which effects also on the state of the country's economy, why even banned hemzzz Grin Huh

I think there are two major reasons why the government want to banned bitcoin, this can be:
They are just concern to their countrymen because of the possible risk of Bitcoin; or
Because it has no tax.
Base on my observation, even though a certain thing brings risks as long as it has tax it was justifiable.
Example: cigarette
276  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wiil bitcoin price raise up again? on: January 24, 2018, 02:48:31 PM
Hello all. As a newbie Im worried if bitcoin price will not raise up again. Because I still keep some of it. It is not much but I got worried. Sad

Before engaging here, you must know that Bitcoin is extremely volatile. It can pump and dump in every single moment. This was also the reason why there are people holding bitcoins, they are expecting for a bigger profit in the future. Some are selling and buying it to also gain profit. It is good to have some background regarding this or read the thread for newbies. Good luck!
277  Economy / Economics / Re: New rich people thanks to BTC on: January 24, 2018, 02:24:51 PM
I wonder what are the new rich people doing right know? have they realised that they are rich yet.

I think they are. Maybe they are just being humble like some person I know. They are pretending that they don't have money but the reality is that they are earning a big amount of money already. However, I agree on what they are doing compared to being so boastful. Actually, anyone can be rich thru bitcoin, they just need to be smart in every move.
278  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Are Now Used in Crimes on: January 24, 2018, 05:10:24 AM
Bitcoins has regained its strong value, As of this posting, the value per 1 bitcoin is exactly 4786.59 US Dollar.   Soon we will see more ways people can squeeze the most out of bitcoins.   Since the advent of the internet to be profit oriented in the 90's, no one would possibly have imagined that the Internet would breed Facebook, Google, Uber, online streaming, etc. This is where we are with the Blockchain now. There exists a whole world of opportunities out there.

These opportunities have the unrighteous users of this cryptocurrencies to also used its advantage. We cannot deny for a fact that cyber crimes have been committed since the birth of the internet.  Once, stealing was done with having guns, now, robbers can easily hack bank accounts or counterfeit credit cards to their advantage.  Sooner, cryptocurrencies can be used to pay crimes such as services for creating counterfeit birth certificates and this is not far from happening.  Actually, the US has already cases on this matter.

Another is the crime of buying illegal-drug emporium that used Bitcoin as a medium of exchange, politicians and policymakers took notice. Criminals, it turns out, really like bitcoins, which can be exchanged for nefarious purposes on the "Dark Web," with complete anonymity and, it seems, impunity.

Although, there are some articles that i have read regarding criminals cannot hide behind bitcoins, still, there are difficulties tracing transactions using cryptocurrencies. That is why law enforcement agencies should have a to change their procedures to pursue criminals who make use of the latest technology to commit crimes. Let the law find a way to evolve to address new tech challenges. There is no reason to expect that law enforcement won’t be able to get a handle on this new cybercrime.

Actually it is not new, Bitcoin is using in darkweb since before, commonly in many illegal transactions. It was existing since before, before it booms in web and before being widely known in public.
Today, since we and our government are already aware in this happenings, I am hoping that we can address that problem and get rid of those criminals.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's High Volatility on: January 23, 2018, 06:49:36 AM
As far as i know bitcoin has a high volatility given the fact that it is in demand in the market but i did not expect hat it is so high that it can really go from 1-100 and 100-0.
I want your insights about this volatility of bitcoin.

It was amazing for me indeed. Some people consider price dump as a burden but besides it brings opportunities too. In addition, it is a common thing that we should not panic in this situation. Commonly, many Bitcoin user here are just holding it because of the possible bigger profit soon but they tend to sell it when the price dumps. They are doing it to gain profit without waiting for the increase of their holdings.
280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally Bitcoin is becoming normal on: January 23, 2018, 06:41:20 AM
Lower fees, transactions are approved within minutes or hours and not within DAYS!

Can this please keep itself like this permanently?

This is good to hear, it makes people become interested again with Bitcoins. On the other hand, Bitcoin will benefit also for they will patronize again by many people.
I am not so sure if this will be permanent but hopefully it will. Many transactions are taking place so we cannot blame them but it was their responsibility
