261  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 25, 2020, 11:46:44 AM
I too have been asked many time to trade friend's money - never did. The extra burden is not worth the risk. If I'm good, I rather profit from my money, because the "trader manager fee" isn't worth it.

The risk in trading always exists and that stress of trading on somebody else money just increases and better not to overburden at times. Even I think trading for our self without own money is much better atleast we are not answerable to anyone other than our self. Volatility is always there so at times you can get the trade wrong and can lead to some losses as well which is though a part of trading itself.
262  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns [Last update: 21-Jul-2020] on: July 24, 2020, 03:09:46 PM
Wolf.bet should be moved to CFNP from OFNP.

Campaign Manager might have missed to post about acceptance of Cnut237 as a Hero Member. Checking the spreadsheet it will confirm that all slots are filled and no new open slot exists.

264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 24, 2020, 10:57:22 AM
With a lot of crypto currencies going around, the dominance of bitcoin will surely drop. This is been a talk for a while and it doesn't matter if it falls, more crypto currencies will pop up and the money will not always fall to bitcoin. It doesn't spell the end of dominance of btc, this just tells us that more and more crypto currencies are circulating.

With the surge in altcoins the bitcoin demand due to price might fall compared to its currently position when looking at the future. Though will bitcoin not be a leader is something which is hard to think of, because still thinking that bitcoin will still continue to be market leader for many more time though the % usage of other coins may rise against bitcoin.
265  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with crypto market? on: July 24, 2020, 09:17:47 AM
Investors would be less interested now in the ICO as compared to the time when we had huge growth and also good benefits for investors. But after the scam or coins which does not had any value where investors wasted their money resulted in people staying away from such projects. Also, in pandemic times might be people would not be willing to take that amount of risk due to uncertain future which still exists. All this might have hamper some of the projects.
266  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 24, 2020, 08:04:50 AM
Hi WO! There may be a good bullish move.

Quote
“BTC HTF UPDATE: MARKET IS LOOKING REALLY STRONG IN MY OPINION, BUT FOR FULL TRANSPARENCY THIS $9600 LEVEL HAS TO BE FLIPPED ON THE WEEKLY CLOSE IF WE REALLY WANT TO CONTINUE HIGHER…”

Quote
The range he references exists between $9,100 and $9,450. It does appear that buyers are ardently defending against a dip back into this channel.

Source: https://4crypto.org/index.php/2020/07/24/these-3-factors-suggest-bitcoins-uptrend-is-just-getting-started/

This could be a good sign as its being some time now before we see the bitcoin prices above 9600$. Mostly it has being below 9500 only and in last 2 days it has just moved above 9500$ mark. But this move should be more resistant and move towards 10k range as its being not able to support above that price levels and then falls back again to 9500 or so.
267  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you prefer to buy bitcoin or do bitcoin mining? on: July 24, 2020, 07:26:38 AM
Mining is not profitable now, miners are selling their mining rigs, because only big mining companies can mine Bitcoin now after the halving I prefer to buy bitcoin and saves me from the hustle of setting up and electricity cost, I think this is also the options of many people.

At an individual level do not think mining is that profitable anymore. Instead buying is so much better as it is easy to buy/sell and exit anytime without any worries. Mining can involve lot of issues and you cannot make immediate profits as compared to trading with cryptos.
268  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Any way how to legally transfer your crypto wealth to the tax-free countries? on: July 23, 2020, 01:38:18 PM
Avoiding tax isn't illegal, you have lot of way to convert your money into fiat in your country itself and you don't have to pay 20% tax all the transfers.Peer to peer trading can help you to deal with converting fiat. Or you can buy something with cryptos and then later sell it on amazon or any e-commerce site to make it legal money with less tax.

This is as good as tax theft because there is no way you are adjusting as per any provision provided by your country law where you can take tax refund or set off against anything. This you are doing it by your own will, and you are still liable to pay your taxes. Government still can charge you for this and must pay tax penalty in such instance.

269  Economy / Speculation / Re: Guys avoid panic sell... on: July 23, 2020, 12:08:10 PM

It is good to accumulate as much possible, but everyone can't practice the same. It requires the capable financial strength, and most cryptocurrency users have the same thinking. Right now it isn't the time for panic selling as the market is stable without large fluctuations. Maybe soon there'll a price increase or a fall during which we can experience more panic sell happening in the market.
It is very difficult for many cryptocurrency users to stay afloat today. A significant part have invested their savings in cryptocurrency for a long time, and it is impossible not to worry too much about the state of the market today. but most ordinary investors invested their funds in order to make a profit in the shortest possible time, and therefore it will be very difficult for them to keep from selling, especially if today bitcoin has reached $ 9,500, because they have been waiting for this for so long. But my opinion remains the same, no sales and no panic.

The ones who are fairly new in the market and do anticipate that within short time they would end up making good amount of money generally are the ones who start creating more noise in the market during a little correction and they get worried and start getting into panic mode. This results in more selling pressure and fall is inevitable in such situation which lead to more chaos in the market.
270  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ask]; Start betting on horse racing gambling. on: July 23, 2020, 09:28:55 AM
are they really telling about their horse and what the horse consume? i dont think they would tell people what is actually the horse consume.
well im only betting on online website, never step in on horse gambling track yet, just betting on horse that i feel lucky.
If you was a famous person on the betting.

And have the connection between the owner, of course they will tell what are they use for feed the horse. Everything it's about connection my friend, just like in the movie or maybe the owner makes some video vlog for youtube his activity and you can know the information from there. If you can't find this information, then just use another factor you can use.

This are some of the insights which everyone would like to know and obviously it is not revealed. So, having connection does play so very big part in it because then you atleast got an idea about some chances how fairly it can move ahead in race. This is just like making your chances better than knowing nothing.

272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which altcoin will be your favorite this season? on: July 23, 2020, 05:51:29 AM
I do not see the point in buying and holding cheap altcoins in the hope that they will become much more expensive. Bought, 2-3 days and sold, that's my strategy.

If this is working for you then it is good. Also buying any of the cheaper coins and that too for long term, agree that it will become useless coin and will not be worth anything in future. So that should be avoided. But if someone can spot a very good opportunity at early stage in the new coins then it can all be worth it. Though it depends on everyone what startegy they plan to adopt it.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Record Revenue for Blockchain Gaming Company During Pandemic on: July 22, 2020, 01:57:26 PM
During the lockdown as there is no other way to gamble or bet so online had to picked up the momentum and it has happened that way. I guess for next few months we will see more, or it till the time there is no proper stability or vaccine reaches would continue this way itself. More so ever there would be huge amount of increase in the teenage category too who would have started gambling online during this period as a source of entertainment. And if they get addicted it will be a very big thing for the gambling sites.
274  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 22, 2020, 11:26:37 AM
What's your favorite crypto for gambling? Why did you choose it? Do you think the decentralized gambling industry will grow now that crypto is becoming more popular due to COVID-19? Or is it still too early to tell? Huh

I think the best crypto in gambling games is Tron. My transactions get approval very quickly. I have tried the Wink system before.
I have tried trx well it is also convenient using this in a game. Also, I’m using Eth which is my first choice when I’m doing a bet in a game. Btc, etc and trx these are my choice actually when playing in an online game also it depends on your preference of what coin to use.

Mostly I prefer to use the ETH as considered it better in terms of the transaction fees atleast is not much and whatever little can be saved on transaction is still a sort of earning only. Just in case when need to bet and do not have ETH or so then may be use some other coin if the site does support other coins and play with it.

275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any successful and relatively new casinos? on: July 22, 2020, 07:26:17 AM
Perhaps, another try.
A lot of casinos have been working out to be chosen among gamblers but somehow, most traders are yet confident those who've been existed quite long and that is why new casinos will be left behind with the competition. That is so much entertaining to see any gambling sites have positive feedback and that is how it attracts gambler but less fortunate to new sites that has been scrutinized at its launch and found it more questionable of its existence.

The contest, promotions, giveaways etc are just ways of attracting the people to their gambling site. And if they like it they can continue to gamble on their site leaving their existing one. Out of many some of them will be good and will survive and grow as well. Ones who does not make changes as per the requirement or not really trusted will either be out or would not attract much people to their site.
276  Economy / Economics / Re: Korea proposes 20% tax on crypto trading starting 2021 on: July 22, 2020, 05:36:59 AM
Looks good if considered that it is not considered as capital against tax which was likely to be considered. So assuming 20% is a decent as now there is a proper regulation and understanding among the people that on 20% needs to be paid as tax. Some countries might have cheaper than this and some countries may have more tax on crypto depending upon their government rules. Also, up to 2k profit per year is not taxable which is also a good thing for part time earners.
277  Economy / Economics / Re: Business / private sector is dead on: July 21, 2020, 02:28:54 PM
No, they aren't dead. That's quite normal in this situation, imo, some companies haven't been fully operating yet hence, some employees had to be off more than what's usual, not to mention that they are now experiencing a salary cut which leads to various events, like they have set aside buying unnecessary stuff, and those stuff you mentioned.

Anyway, here, in my country (PH) have been in similar situation, fortunately, after months of lockdown where the collapse of some businesses have been witnessed, now things are seemingly getting back to normal although, it wasn't the same as before wherein customers are congested inside a popular shop or whatever kind of store.

if you just got out of lockdown people started spending savings... wait until savings gone ...

This would be the real big issues in coming months, as say still somehow people are managing it because of the saving they had it but if the pandemic continues for the next few months till we do not have vaccine, by that time many would go bankrupt or will not have money left and they this would be the bigger issues in countries where they do not have give anything to the unemployed people.
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: People are complaining about airdrop/bounty earnings, something more profitable? on: July 21, 2020, 01:21:13 PM
But hunters are still claiming that there are some good ICOs to be promoted that is why they are joining all the bounties so they can found that one but this is really bad for the crypto's future since their promotion is going to be a cause for someone to lose their money.

Out of many bounty programs only some of them would turn out to the good projects and rest of them may not be a good one. So, people should be good in picking such projects which will have a good price and demand in long term too. This is difficult for many of them and they end up investing in the wrong project and in the end loses their money.
279  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dominance hits 71.2%, alts lagging behind on: July 21, 2020, 06:41:33 AM
It's been a while, but I am happy to see that bitcoin dominance has decrease, this means that altcoins are growing a bit and it still has a chance to grow. Hopefully the trend will continue, dropping bitcoin dominant rate will be good for the crypto market in general.

Altcoins has a way to go from here and surely it will continue to rise and only thing is that we require some very good altcoins which has a good future too and does not just come for short time , scam the people or turn out to be a dump coin. The market is very huge in this space and crypto will continue to boom.
280  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any way to out of this insecurity? on: July 21, 2020, 06:25:08 AM
Some of the simple things atleast from our side what we can do is that only use the exchanges which ahs a good reputation and which is also old. Secondly, we can store it in ledger rather than string it online unless you want to sell it immediately. Thirdly in crypto risks always exists it can be either of hacking or due to volatility the prices could be falling. So, for people with weak heart or cannot take such risks ideally should stay away if possible.
