I still think some form of regulation for ICOs will be good. Contracts should be such that project administrators and devs may not be able to pull out or access their portions of the raised funds until the project archives a level of adoption.

Well said. It a matter of the survival of the fittest.

With the wave of bans and restrictions of ICOs and cryptocurrency some governments accross wnrld, do you think the future of cryptocurrency lies in the hands of the authorities or the crypto community?

It is a free world and a free market. And in that circumstance competition should not be seen to be evil. If you think competition is expensive try out monopoly and see for yourself.

There are too many ICOs no doubt. But I think natural selection will come to play and only the strongest will survive. I can already see a future where our individual selves will be tokenized, and the value of each one will base on ones productivity and relivance in the economy. Whatch out!

I have followed the Nexus Social project so far and I think Social will do to Facebook what Google did to Yahoo! I am confident Social will hit the $100 mark when Nexus comes full stream by the second quater of '18.

In my very short expirience in crypto so far I think I have almost seen it all. The crypto world is very vast and broad such that there could be no master of all, and at the same time so simple and accomodating that anyone from any background could join the bandwagon. I have seen Alts rated as great projects and "heading to the moon" by so called pros slump into the pit soon after launching, and I have also seen projects written off as scams by same pros shoot down the stars soon after hiting the exchange. I honestly think no one is a master of this game and there are no blueprints to success. The secret is in making good use of your sense of judgement based on current realities. You must have the sixth sense. And the rule is to invest only what one can afford to lose.

Beyond that, China is making good use of her population power. She prides herself like the beautiful bride of the global economy and dictates the tone to every suitor. It is unarguable today that the global success of any product or innovation depends on its acceptance by China to a great extent, and China's goal is to create the Chinese Bitcoin, create the Chinese Ethereum and a Chinese version of everything. And anything that is successful, knowing she has a market that outmatches any other in the world.

I would love to buy more BCPT now. But transacting on Ether Delta remains a big challenge. The interface insn't friendly.

Most likely. Because SCL have kind of held on to the positive since yesterday.
From the rushed public poll for choice of exchanges to the ground shifting on the buyback programme, I sense something is out of place.
You are right Martens58. DomRaider's DRT was on HitBTC next day after the ICO ended. Nexus could get SCL on major exchanges even today if they so wish. I don't know why they are foot dragging. Could be because of the buyback.

And If governments the world over – more importantly the big economies – continue to be restrictive to the use of cryptos, what effects would that have on the industry in future?
Any tax dependant economy would most likely hate bitcoin or any other crypto because of the annonymous nature of transactions which makes it almmst impossible to tax such transactions.

Almost every coin in the market but Bitcoin is going down. The reason is because Bitcoin plans yet another fork to Bitcoin Gold come November 1. So investors are dumping their other coins into the market for Bitcoin in anticipatiom of a repeat of what played out last August during the Bitcoin Cash fork. Bitcoin holders would gain free Bitcoin Gold equal the amount of Bitcoin in ther wallets and even gain more as the new coin takes a usual early climb.
When Bitcoin sneeze, every other coin tremble!

Maybe the SCL's owners don't want its price increase, they just choose small exchanges, all people are selling SCL now Big project but the price dumps --> no meaning... Agreed. Perhaps because of the buyback policy. Could it be they want to buy back at low prices. That means more coins for devs at small prices.
There could be some other market forces beyond listings on major exchanges that is affecting the price of SCL. I noticed that each time SCL is introduced to a new exchange the price would surge up only to slump down afterward. This trend could repeat even on major exchanges.

Very good and detailed project. value going up fast. coming big bang..
SCL happen to be my very first investment in Altacoin. Even as a "newbie" I was certain the coin was going to succeed, judging by the relevancy of the project and the useful features it has, the ICO blueprint, and post launch coin mangement plan. Glad to have got it right at first shot.
