The only Pool not working, what is being done to fix the problem and where is the official info about the problem?
 Huh

You need to understand that the pool is nothing to do with the devs of the coin. There for there is next to no "official info about the problem" other than its not working and not paying.

The pool master will sort it once he knows. If you would like to make a pool for it feel free. You may even get a small gift off the devs for doing so.

From time to time Im having this problem with the cluster miner, both the wolf 2 and optiminer. I have to check  the miner and close then re-open it.

As stated we know there is a small problem with the cluster... Well not the cluster but the trunk to the cluster. The problem is this is not something we can do much about at the min other than wait on the ISP to sort out the problems made by seven trent water.
The cluster is hosted in Newark England and the town is having a major overhall on its sewer system. Seven Trent Water killed something when digging and the ISP is having to use blue tack, duck tape and prit stick to fix the line untill the fix can be more stable.

Just had noticefrom my isp that the fault with my line eta fix is 3rd Jan.
Cluster is intermittent until then.

Sorry about this.

Once I have no need for this router I will bring it back and we can set up that fall over. I tested last night and it is floor less in fall over to 4G. Mining to test cluster did not even see a change so should work even better on your line given the poor quality of mine.

Any Help here?

Try this

hodlminer.exe -o stratum+tcp://stratum.coinspool.cu.cc:3042 -u use your own address -p x

(use your own address ofcourse)

Tried but of no help. I am using Windows 10 f that helps.

I too am using windows 10 and mining using hodlminer and its working fine

@Nap0nTilt Who is mining them? We people are mining them lol and where are these ROI Coins coming from ? from blockchain  Grin

You got me wrong Wink
You or we are mining the ROI coins, which we are investing and getting 590% in return.
That means after holding 1000 coins for one year you have 6933 coins which makes a gain of 5933 coins.
Where does these 5933 coins suddenly come from?

It comes from the block chain. When you put the coins in for 12 months or what ever. It sends the commands to the chain to lock the coins untill block no#xxxxxx and the intrest that will be put on to the coins on that block.

This coin has POW (miners), POS (15% APR) and term deposets. The term deposets are added to the chain when you lock them for x amount of time.

The market will not get flooded unless said wallet owner has no clue what he/she has.

Lets look at it in simple terms....

Say you have enough coins locked so that in 1 year you will have 1 million coins unlocked.

Do you dump them? NO that is silly.

You have 1 million coins that get 15% APR.

1,000,000 / 100 = 10,000 X 15% APR = 150,000 coins a year (EST) / 365 days = 410.958904109589 coins a day.

So why sell them all when if the coin is worth something you can live off the intrest? If its just $0.10c thats $41 a day intrest.

ROI Coin to some one who understands this is not a coin to dump.

Thank you for your help and much praise to the dev Team !!
Look again you are trying to deposit 100,000 coins

Just started solo mining to a central wallet.
3x12 treats
1x4 treats
So a total 40 treats. Across 4 machines.
Question: Is is possibe to see the total hashrate going to the central wallet?

Also am mining with 1x8 and 1x4 treats to coinspool.cu.cc
This gives me around 400h/s / 233ROI a day.

Am curious to see if I will even find solo block.
Going to give the solo project 4 days to see if it produces.
If not I will redirect to the pool.

Am curious to see how this coin is going to evolve.
All coins earned will be term deposited for 365 days.

Hope the comunity stays active and invested.

I'm solo mining on new wallet  with around 900hs and got 2 blocks in 6 hours. You must remember that its not all down to hashspeed other things such as ram speed come in to play with this algorithm.

Hello,

Do anyone knows how many coins I can mine from i7 6700k in a day ?

500 H/s +-

150-400 on pool depending on amount of hash on the network. 150 with 200kh on pool 400+ with 50kh on pool.

I have an older CPU with 6 cores but no AES support. I cannot afford to buy a new CPU at the moment but I am loving mining your coin so far I have massed about 300 give or take a few.  I would really like to mine in the cluster but it seems that I cannot because all the optimized miners for the cluster are for AES-NI enabled CPU's only. Is there a way that you can optimize a miner without AES support (such as cpuminer 3.5.9.1) to work with the cluster as well. I would just like to say that I am enjoying actually being able to mine this coin on my aged hardware and I would like to see if i can get a few more coins under my belt.

Hi there,

Thanks for your QQ. I cant 100% say it will be easy for you to mine the cluster node. But I will help if I can. CPUminer will not work on the cluster as of yet. There is a bug in the code on the longpoll. I have not had the time to change it and may never get round to it because I am but 1 man and have a load of other projects I am working on.

1st download http://roicluster.miner-pools.com/downloads/solominers/roi-coin-hodlminer-wolf-2-cluster.rar

unrar it. Then edit the bat file to change the .exe you change it to each one untill you find one that works. (I hope you do) but if you cant find one that works for your cpu then I am sorry but for now the cluster pool will be out of reach for you.

So if the stock file dont work (code under) Then change it to see if you get one that works. Also change -t 4 to -t 6 I will do it for you this time.

Code:
roiminer.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-aes.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-bdver2.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-bdver3.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-haswell-broadwell.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-sandybridge-ivybridge.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-silvermont.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Code:
roiminer-westmere.exe -a hodl --url=http://roi.hopto.org:23110 -u mine -p miner -t 6 --coinbase-addr=RRwp5YU4AvECF26pFpWzueAnSaBiysyHE8 -P -q

Test each one of them lines of code. If more than one works remove -q -P and you can find the fastest one for your CPU and mine with that. Dont forget to change the address for yours.

Hope this helps you!

Regards,

Raster.

If I help you help me by donating what you can for my time RXd3GwmQA9wdTftDyzYuv29bzgKa4EwnJb

Thank you for your response, unfortunately I have tried all of them and none of them work for me.  I know the regular hodlminer.exe the non-wolf version  works for me and I can connect to the cluster address with it and it shows that it is mining. Does that mean that it is working and I will get the correct payout? I dont want to spend a whole lot of time mining and it isn't really correct because the miner has to be optimized for the cluster. I dont know what if any changes have to be made to the mining software to make it work correctly with the cluster. Excuse my ignorance but I am pretty new to this whole thing.
Copy and paste the output so I can see. Or screen shot

Any possibilities to get listed on better exchanges in near future or it's too expensive?

I am to understand it will be on yobit soon.

We have been having a problem or 2 since the fork. We are looking at what the problem is in the log files and will fix as soon as we can.

Looks like NiceHash is back.... someone with 50kh on pool lmao

Website says they come back today, but website is still "closed". But for me they can close nicehash forever to stay out nicehashers from this coin.  Cool Perhaps the 50kh is from the guy with 80core cpu which was in the forum here in the past.

That guy is me... Its most deff not me Sad I wish it could get 50kh

What is happening with this coin?... It is taking so long time to get listed on coinmarketcap... and we need more promotion and bigger exchanges to be listed on if we want this coin take off and reach the moon  Wink

CoinMarketCap is not friendly to new coins, they don't accept listing until you can show 10k $ daily trade volume, despite the fact that they already list many coins that don't come close to that kind of trade volume today.

We are trying other options.

I think things may have changed... BCCS was on there around a week after it come out. So I dont know maybe it is not so hard to get on there now?

where can i find some tutorial to install the linux wallet and get it mining?

You can find this info just go to https://github.com/ROIcoin/ROIcoin and scroll down and the first section begins with ROI Coin Ubuntu Compile Dependencies

You can also get Linux support from the dev team if you go over to our Slack channel at https://roicoin.slack.com/

Hi teddy_can you can find pre-compiled ubuntu version on https://github.com/ROIcoin/ROIcoin/releases page.
you will need some pre-required libraries those are listed on the README page of our github repo.
If you have any trouble just join us on slack and i will gladly help you with it.

This is intresting. My server runs windows 2016 most of the time. But I do have linux on a diff disk. I would like to test this later in the week to see if I can get abit more speed Cheesy

My wallet update stopped in 25014 block, how to solve?
I had this problem and the way I found to fix was to backup the wallet file and then delete the Roi coin folder in %appdata% then start it and let it download the block chain again. Then close wallet and put my wallet back in %appdata%/roi coin.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ROI] ROI Coin | CPU Only Solo Mining Hybrid | 15% POS | 593% Term Deposit on: December 18, 2017, 04:07:06 PM
Hi, If its anything like the problem I have just had its the block chain. I am redownloading the chain now. I think a node somewhere has given a bad block.

Note to all. The Cluster Node is running fine at the min.

I will keep a eye on that. But for now my wallet has bugged from block 25102. Im just working on fixing that.

EDIT: all sorted this end block chain bugged.

We have been digging into 2 reports of a transaction error and would like to provide the following details

This error may or may not occur when you send or term deposit coins and the snapshot below is what you will see when it happens:

If you experience this here is what you need to do:

  • Backup your wallet.dat file
  • Run these flags from the startup icon target box -rescan -zapwallettxes=2

If you experience this error and do not understand the instructions above please let me know and I will make sure you get it taken care of quickly.

Humm I cant get my own wallet to sync with network now....

EDIT:

Connected now and downloading new block chain....

Deleated all,

New wallet and can not connect to anything to download block chain... "no block sorce"

quick note: i stopped the pool, because it went to a fork.

and something is wrong, because i cannot resync the blockchain, i got error for a valid blocks, i dunno why.

I appreciate you tending to this matter with the pool!

What error are you getting?

Anything that sticks out in the debug.log?

Also, you are welcome to collaborate with the entire DEV team at slack in real time to get this resolved as quickly as possible: https://roicoin.slack.com/

May more help for this in the PM I sent you. Has block hashs and so on.
