261  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO for March 2018 on: February 26, 2018, 01:41:45 PM
Debitum Network is designed to unite borrowers and those who help them apply: investors (lenders), risk assessors, document validators, insurers, etc.

Companies or individual professionals who work in the alternative finance space can connect-in to the network for free and immediately begin facilitating cross-border deals.
262  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs on: February 25, 2018, 05:06:21 PM
Tell me your favourite ongoing/upcoming ICOs. These sites like ICObench overwhelm me, there are to many.

Also give some reasons why. Yeah I know this is the lazy way, but who cares right. Just looking for a top5 and research them see if any are worth getting into.

morpheus is my favorite one. I decided to both invest and join the bounty campaign as I'm trying to get as much involved as possible, seeing this platform to succeed for sure.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: February 25, 2018, 05:02:34 PM
reading whitepapers is a great source of information for new people to the cryptospace, alot of these concepts seem very not needed sometimes I recommend you new folks to read Mybit whitepaper it will definetely open your eyes to a few pockets of the blockchains usage with certain sectors of the cryptosphere.

Anybody else has a couple of informative whitepapers, that opened your eyes to a certain technology or undervalued market or just good information?
Im about to read deeponion's!

you should read every white paper of project you're considering attractive for your investment. It's probably the point number one along with team members back check. I always read it
264  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinion: What top five alt coins to catch in this BTC dip. on: February 25, 2018, 05:01:29 PM
this day trading is really difficult thing guys. I just like my long term investments which don't force me to be checking graphs every second and I sleep well because even if the price decreases I won't be losing my shit.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Im afraid of Hackers/Scammers! on: February 25, 2018, 04:59:43 PM
Hey guys.Im a newbie on crypto world. However i started doing my first money 1 year ago using e personal method. However i have improved and now i have like 4-5k worth of alt which i keep on exchange wallets. Are they safe?Or should i get anther wallet?

And yes,I have 100 % secured with email, number ,long password and 2FA but im still afraid

you're right to be afraid as it's a real threat. The best option is to purchase hardware wallet like trezor or ledger and store it there, make proper back up. It will never be safe online.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: February 23, 2018, 11:32:41 AM
I asked this question before. However, I've not got any answer.
Since it was 1 mil. coins mined in the first day, halving to 6.25 coins per block should be in ~6 month.
Is this correct?
Did you try to send them a PM?
I agree, this type of things is better try to solve them by PM
What kind of things? Aren't you interested when block halving will happen?

it's 40k blocks left until BCA block reward halving. With current 30min per block average it should happen in 833 days, let's say over 2 years. But it depends on difficulty adjustments and hashpower, might be also sooner.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: February 23, 2018, 11:25:34 AM
There are so many coins, but many of them just a copy of anothers. Why they waste their time for nothing? Grin

it's not for nothing. Some are just trying to gain quick buck, but some projects are really cool. Especially nowadays with ICOs helping financing the companies bringing some revolutionarily tech to the users.
268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Spectrecoin or deeponion on: February 23, 2018, 11:24:41 AM
Hi guys, i did buy xspec at around 4,4dollar. Now the price is around 1,2!! Shoud i buy more now or should i invest in deep onion ? I read some article said xspec is scam. What do you think about it ? Is deep onion a better alternative ?

deeponion is better project in my opinion. I have been also considering investing in that for some time, now I definitely decided to go further and put $2k in it. Advise you to do the same Wink
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO in January thru March on: February 23, 2018, 11:23:18 AM
I think Marineco <https://marineco.in/>is a good ICO.Marinecoin is a community project, it is a giant undertaking to create the largest organic fair distribution crypto-currency community.now marineco is in a 450.000 MTC Free ICO per sign up in https://marineco.in/ico. good luck  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I'm trying to get my head around it but I don't understand what this marincoin is. There are an old crypto who is trying now to do ICO? Am I right? What is this all about?
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie in Altcoin discussion, Tips needed on: February 23, 2018, 11:21:37 AM
I'm pretty new to crypto, started messing around with it in January. I got a lucky hit and sold off for a gain of $300~ worth of bitcoin. Now, I'm trying to do a bit of research - a large part of that is which exchanges are better to use, for reliability and fees etc.

I've read a little bit about Segwit, and believe that's a big part of why BTC transaction fees have dropped from the $20 mark that they were at in December, but have also heard that some exchanges haven't implemented it.

Sorry if all of this sounds pretty noobish, currently I'm planning on taking the $300 gain and exchanging into fiat and/or altcoin(s). Also, what's the best wallet out there, currently? Not for long term holding, if I do go into a long term hold, I figure I'll do either a hardware or paper wallet.

Getting into crypto has been pretty fun so far, I'm enjoying messing around with it more than the gains from it, honestly

Thanks for any advice!

back wallet is ledger, but in case you own just relatively small portion of btc, I'm not sure if you're willing to invest in that. Perhaps try blockchain.info, I have been using them for a long time without any issues.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: I have 250 ETH, Hold or SELL? on: February 21, 2018, 01:50:29 PM
that is very nice amount. It depends on what % in your portfolio it's, if 100%, then I would surely exchange some, probably 30-50% and kept the rest. Eth is good coin to invest in, a lot of potential.
272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Magic words: Which leads to a bullrun? on: February 21, 2018, 01:49:04 PM
These words can lead to a bullrun of a coin/token:

airdrop
rebrand
(trading)-competition
unique
swap
fork
hidden gem
Mainnet

Which words do you think can else lead to a bullrun?

just the words only? well that's not really likely, come on. In what terms are you suggesting that? where the words would be posted or used? Or you mean just in any connection?!
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO spreadsheets on: February 21, 2018, 01:47:22 PM
looking good. In case you would be interested in proper websites on current ICOs, there are the ones like icobench etc. Those are the resources I look at to find the latest projects to invest in
274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new airdrop coins? on: February 19, 2018, 07:07:59 PM
MarineCoin is here! Free 450.000 MTC Coins if you just follow these instructions:  https://marineco.in

this bullshit coin has been around since last 3 years at least and it was being manipulated from the day one. Noone should focus on marincoin, take your hands of it unless you want to get played.
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto day trading is more stressful than I thought! on: February 19, 2018, 07:06:50 PM
Any profitable day trader have any tips?. It seems like I never get the right time to sell. Thanks

haha I bet it is! It's probably the most stressful job ever. I didn't do day trading but I used to check the rates of bitcoin all the time and I have quite few grey hair from that time. Time I just chill and hodl Smiley
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚛️ [ANN] Bitcoin Atom - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Atomic Swap Powered ⚛️ on: February 19, 2018, 01:58:40 PM

you can mine with asic miner for dash256 algo.

Pool: bca.multipools.club

Multipools are really great. Their support is very helpful, kudos to the guys. I have noticed they are even helping bca team to optimize code in terms of mining.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptokitty on: February 18, 2018, 08:46:14 PM
Ive never tried buying this cryptokitty game, i dont want to spend my ethreum in this crappy game and im sure the fame of this kitties will not last, soon the game will end.
Also I dont want spend my time on cryptokitty game or any other game no more...timeeaters

what is the actual status of this game? Haven't hear about them since few weeks, but I saw some transaction on eth netwrok still going their way. I guess it means there is a time for some new funny childish game to take over
278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple to the moon? on: February 18, 2018, 08:43:54 PM
I'm really curious to see how ripple will turn out. On one side their pr is mighty and they seem to be getting some adoption of large companies, on the other hand it doesn't make too much sense for me given the ripple specs. Let's see Smiley
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple Vs NEO on: February 17, 2018, 07:40:02 PM
I don't think neo is similar project to ripple. It's an asset focused network being a competitor to ethereum with smart contracts etc, rather than ripple. Just go through their website https://neo.org
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MyetherWallet Security on: February 17, 2018, 07:36:42 PM
I will choose keystore file to secure MEW from your options. However IMO, using a hardware wallet with MEW is the most secure way.

I believe you're right, hardware wallet with myetherwallet should work great. Trezor and ledger are both good ones. but always make sure you're safe on your side first.
