Hamilton to Ferrari, Sainz to Aston Martin and Alonso to Merecedes as a trade would actually benefit every team. Sainz is already a great racer and him being at Aston Martin would mean that Aston would have someone next to Stroll to do fine, however I am afraid that will be for just one year, because we know that Sainz will go to Audi by 2026 so that means Aston will have him for only one year and then need to find someone else later on.

Not that Stroll is any good, but he will always stay, he basically owns the team because his father literally owns the team. Lets see, we are going to end up with a good trade next season if those three switch seats, and seeing Hamilton in Ferrari gear will definitely be something fun to see.

He might just be on holiday, as a veteran of customer services and tech support time served in the trenches and PTSD for life from it I can appreciate people need to not always be on the front lines vs the avalanche of stuff that must crop up.

Lambo is 11 days, too far and I wont kid myself of maybe winning though it'd be nice its a wide open contest.  I was only routing for the little guy in general as a maybe but who knows.   Trying to remember previously there was GT tickets for deposits I remember and so maybe its not different enough from that to be an especially different result.

5 days is end of month and for that bet I find the wavering back and forth more interesting for the moment, if it ends like this I win but really just break even as its a fairly normal result.  69.5k >  or over stay bullish is my brief take, do monthly bars count if we close this month more positive does it help I wonder.
I think it is more than a vacation at this point considering it's been months since thequin has been active here. But, at the same time I don't mind, I have not seen anything that looked like it was too much for me, it looked fine and I believe that to be not a problem at all.

I understand that it might look like there are some situations that can change with time, but so far I think the website is still quite the name itself so there is no need for thequin to come here to make me stay, I am already staying. This may not be the case for everyone, but no website can go 100%, plus thinking bitcointalk is the only place they get customers from would be naive, they probably do not get anything out of here that means a lot for them.
263  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 29, 2024, 08:40:23 AM
Luis Diaz to Real Madrid is definitely impossible, I can easily say that. Because, Real already has a world class player at left wing, and they are getting Mbappe potentially, which means that Mbappe is a left winger who will play at striker just because Real already has a left winger. Getting a third one, expensive one at that, would not make sense for them at all. I believe that they are going to end up with a result that wouldn't be easy for them to accept and they will just assume that it is not going to be easy.

Let it be and consider doing the best they can do at Liverpool, that's his best chance and he should be happy that he is given that chance, considering he hasn't done anything extraordinary, I believe even Liverpool is a stretch for him these days.
264  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading psychology and TA on: March 28, 2024, 08:19:36 PM
It is not easy to figure out technical analysis because there are so many parts of it that people need to focus on, I believe that is going to make things harder for them. I am not saying that it will be impossible, of course you can study and learn there is nothing stopping you from doing that, but that doesn't mean that you are going to have easy time learning.

I have learned it a bit, and I can't say I am good enough yet, and even at this level, it took me so much to learn what I have learned, mind you I am not even some big trader. So be ready to give some proper time towards it if you want to be good at it, you need to spend some good chunk of your time for months in order to be good at it, a year if you want to be great.
265  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 28, 2024, 07:00:01 PM
I know Draymond means so much to Steph and that is why they are still keeping him no matter what, but lets be honest already and realize that he is not what he used to be. Back in the day his defensive skills and his passing skills made him crucial, and during their run he was one of the most important players on that team, sure he didn't score as much as Curry and Klay, but he was doing other stuff that was just as important, not many people realize but the power of GSW wasn't actually their offense, but their defense, they had years where they weren't even in top three on offense but top ranked on defense.

This should be the most important part and I believe that it should be cared about a lot. Draymond is not that anymore, and has to be traded away, or just not signed back.
266  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: March 28, 2024, 06:20:41 PM
I can see why City would be considered higher chance, and I can definitely see why Arsenal would be seen as lower chance, but isn't it weird that top ranked team right now in the standings would have a third place highly odds for them? I get that the point difference is minimal, just one game difference, but it's still weird.

I believe Arsenal will not win too, that's just the way they look right now and they do not give that trust to anyone at the moment obviously. Liverpool however would be my top choice, not City. The problem with City right now is that the fatigue they have is real and they are losing players left and right, they have good bench but how further can they go with their current squad with this many missing players?
267  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much human supervision do you believe AI needs for crypto trading? on: March 28, 2024, 04:42:03 PM
I think it's more about training than anything else, and if you really believe that you could train an AI to be a perfect trader then yeah there won't be any help needed afterwards, you could still make it understand what is making a loss and what is making a profit and learn from its mistakes and so forth, that's why it matters a lot. I think it should be the most important thing, and we could probably be happy about it if it learns from each move as well.

So, combined your training and also the experience it gets, and that would be something nice. I get that sometimes it is not going to be all that easy to handle, but that's what we are here to do and should be something that we could probably consider as a good income.
268  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 28, 2024, 03:19:41 PM
Seeing the Asian teams having a surge in their love towards football is great. Normally we see them in other sports that they enjoy, and they are great there, but they do not care about football as much as we do, and that's why it's such a tough thing for a title team to come out of there.

Not that there would be any now, almost every world cup winner will be either a European team or a Latin American team, that's always the case, but at least we are now seeing other continents to send teams that can beat or go out of the group stages, which is fine and makes it more fun. Not at the championship level yet, but it is good to have like last sixteen or even maybe quarter finals, that means there is an improvement all around the world.
269  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 28, 2024, 10:55:32 AM
Yamal is a great player there is no doubt about that and if you can convince him and keep him for 15+ seasons then you can, there is technically nothing wrong with that. This is the thing I do not understand about teams keeping their young talents.

But, we are talking about someone you can charge maybe as high as 100 million euro for, and considering how much debt Barcelona has, that's not an amount of money they can ignore, I think they should seriously consider selling him. Not saying that they can, maybe they won't find anyone willing to pay that much, in that case they do not have to sell and they could just consider keeping him, but they should keep their ears open. If anyone offers that high, they should be able to sell.

I can also say Ferrari didn't need to be this quick with their decision on Sainz - Hamilton change. I thought Ferrari would continue with Sainz in 2025 season also and then think about what they can do. Because there have been many speculations such as Sainz will be joining Audi in 2026.

But instead Ferrari wanted to take an early action like this. I agree it is a block-busting move but I'm just not sure if it was the right time to do so.  Sad

In addition to all of that Ferrari might even have missed a big opportunity to go for because of this early move. You know there is a chance for Verstappen to leave Red Bull earlier than the expectations also.

I don't think Ferrari made a wrong move with signing Hamilton and having him on board for the 2025 season. No matter how much of a talented driver Sainz maybe he is nowhere near being 7 times world Champion and having the driving skills of Hamilton so in this matter Ferrari has made the right choice. If they manage to give a winning car or even near winning car to Hamilton then most likely we will see a very beautiful season for 2025.
I agree, Ferrari move wasn't one that was related to just talent, don't get me wrong Hamilton is talented enough, dude has the highest amount of championships along with the greatest racer in history. However, we need to remember that we are not talking about just talent here, we are talking about fame as well.

Hamilton is more famous than Sainz, we have to accept that and on top of that "everyone dreams of driving a Ferrari" story is coming to a full circle as well, because Vettel tried to beat Hamilton, and Hamilton won with Mercedes, but now even Hamilton who beat Ferrari, wants to join Ferrari, that type of story itself is selling the story. This is why I believe that we are going to end up seeing Hamilton preferred.

Roma doesn't really look like "that" much better to me. They are better than they used to be, there is no doubt about that, but we are talking about something that is not really all that much different in the end, we are talking about a team that went from bad to decent but still not at Liverpool levels.

This means that at the end we are going to see Liverpool win it all, that's not going to change. I get that some people may feel like maybe Roma will do better than expected but I do not think that's true, I think that Roma will do fine but will not beat these better teams. However, they can go for fourth place at the league and they should focus on that, a UCL place next season could mean so much money and better players.
272  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: March 27, 2024, 03:18:43 PM
Endrick scoring a goal at this age is definitely amazing, and he was with Vinicious Jr when he did, it was the rebound of his shot, so they celebrated together. Endrick is one of the main reasons why I believe that Mbappe may not be a great choice, or he might be not sure.

Because they have Vini at left, and Jude at behind the striker, and Rodrygo at right side, so at the striker position they will either have Mbappe or Endrick, they already paid top money for Endrick anyway, so not getting him is not an option anymore, Mbappe would be futile there. Doesn't mean that he is not better, Mbappe is definitely better than Endrick, at least for now, but that doesn't mean that they "need" him, it would be too expensive for no good.
273  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2024, 08:33:02 AM
I do not remember when was the last time everyone expected a players decision like this before. Mbappe may leave, which is what everyone is talking about, but in reality we could technically see him stay as well.

This was the situation last time around as well, and PSG had to give him not only 60 million a year, but also a 120 million signing bonus as well, nearly 500 million combined, that was a huge one and aside from Arabian clubs, the biggest anyone received in football. I am guessing that Mbappe is acting like he will leave, and there are many clubs that are both good and rich that can offer a lot for him, so he is using this to make PSG pay even more. If we hear something crazy like 100 a year from PSG, I wouldn't be shocked.
274  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC dip again? on: March 26, 2024, 06:01:22 PM
bitcoin still go down to at least $50k?
If you look at the current market performance it seems very difficult to expect the price of Bitcoin to fall to $50k. I see that Bitcoin will continue to increase, especially since the Halving is getting closer. So if you expect Bitcoin to drop $50k it seems likely after the Halving.
I think we already pass $50k already, currently we are seeing the price going up again in the last 34 hours to $70k. So that is a sign that we might not go down again and that $62k could be the last leg down before the eventual bull run after the block halving.

Of course, we wanted the price to go down still so that we can invest more. But then again, we have a lot of opportunities before, and that we should have taken that to buy and stash BTC. But we can still do save, but the profit is not that big as compare when we buy it during the bear market.
Looking at how it could be going upwards more and more, it can be considered that we are making the right call. I know that it is going to take some time for people to get used to it, but that doesn't mean that we are going to end up with anything that will be different.

So, we should consider how we could make it work one way or another. I hope that people could see the change eventually, it is not going to be easy to get people to hype it again, but we could make it work one way or another when the price keeps going up. Even the fact that it is over 70k again is something they haven't cared much about just yet, so it would make sense to focus on that part first. If we can make people realize that, then they will be hyped again.
275  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: March 26, 2024, 05:39:24 PM
With the recent performance of Jalen Green, I think he will get a max contract with the Rockets when he re-sign.

There was a report before that he will be traded with  Mikal Bridges but the Rockets say no. And it was a great decision as Jalen Green has transformed to be an all star player. His 3 point shooting is on point and his attack as well, I love the way he play now, full of confidence.

https://ftw.usatoday.com/2024/03/jalen-green-rockets-nets-trade-rumors-alperen-sengun-contract

If the Warriors will fail and the Rockets will get it to the play-in, people will see it as a big success for the Rockets and a huge failure for the Warriors.
Honestly, if the Rockets will be in the play-in and get lucky to be in the playoffs, I still would not expect a lot as I believe they'll have an early exit.
There is no doubt that he will get the max, because his max is not that max at all. There are differences between the max people talks about, someone like Dame or Tatum etc getting the max would be a lot, someone like Lberon or Curry getting a max would be even more, of course when players get their contract it's for many years, so by the time it ends, they get even more but meanwhile they can be passed.

But, someone like Jalen Green getting a max is a lot smaller compared to max of these other names. Rockets can afford to have one max player, and Jalen deserves that spot, I still think that it's not easy to keep him there because Rockets do not look that great, Jalen may grow there but could leave for another team to chase a title.
276  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: March 26, 2024, 04:51:43 PM
Arsenal have a bad record when it comes to dealing with Bayern Munich so far, as you said, although this season is different because Arsenal have performed better than Bayern Munich in the league, but still the mentality possessed by Bayern Munich in the Champions League has not changed until now, in the round of 16 match then we can make a benchmark how the mentality possessed by Bayern Munich continues to strengthen as they continue Underestimated, so far Bayern Munich and Arsenal have met as many as 12 meetings, Bayern Munich appeared mighty by winning 7 times, 2 draws and 3 losses against Arsenal.

That's why I think this season it's no different from the previous season and it will be difficult for Arsenal to beat Bayern Munich even though Munich are missing some main players, because Bayern Munich has a good reserve squad, but I think it's different with Arsenal, because if you look so far, Arsenal reserve players don't have a strong mentality and are as good as their main players and that's why Arteta often fielded their players main thing in the league even when facing small teams.
I do agree that Bayern is a team that played at this level quite frequently and they look a lot better, I believe that could be the most important part. I get that it may not feel like a great situation at times, but I feel like it will happen one way or another. In the end, we will see how it goes and how we can react to it, we just need to give it some time.

Maybe it's not that easy to figure out how to make Arsenal be around here all the time, but for the time being Bayern seems like a better chance. I will definitely bet on Bayern to win, but would I be shocked if I see Arsenal somehow get the win? I would not, I think that's also possible, not the highest chance, I still think Bayern will win, but it is not like a huge huge gap.
277  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does having children have an influence on gambling habits? on: March 26, 2024, 12:52:05 PM

Still for some it is tough and it will be difficult for them to balance both eventually leading to dysfunctional families.
Surely taking care of a family is not an easy task and with a larger home, it becomes more difficult to do so you just have to cut down from gambling expenses. Moreover, gambling itself is not really profitable for total average of gamblers so most likely family people also lose their bet too .

It could lead to break in homes which will take more resources, time and apologies to come back especially if you have a wife who has warned the husband off it and he refused, she might take a drastic decision to leave the home and that will definitely affect the man or the children whose growing up will be full of pain and lack of parental control of either the father or mother depending on whose arm they eventually grew in.
That's true, it should not be all that easy, we should probably consider that having a big family needs to take a first priority when we are talking about something like that. If you plan on having a family like that then you should not worry about anything else.

I hope that we could see something changing, like you get so rich that you can take care of your entire family AND still end up being able to actually gamble as well. That could still happen, like imagine a person who makes a million dollars a year, that dude could gamble 10k dollars a year and still take care of his family without a doubt, that's the important part. So, either you need to be only responsible for yourself, or you need to earn enough to take care of your family and still have enough leftover to gamble.

Whether it's Perez's ego or not, it won't matter because at the end of the day he can do whatever he wants.
Perez has control over Madrid and he knows that his decisions when signing players are sometimes not wrong so even though many people think that signing Mbappe is a form of selfishness from Perez, I don't think it will be a problem because in the end he will also be very useful in Madrid later.

Now the issue of Mbappe and Madrid continues to be discussed but there is still no clarity about the rumors that are developing now because in the end rumors are only always rumors considering that a lot of news is thrown but none of them get a good response so we just wait whether this will become a reality or not because certainly all situations will definitely become clearer when the transfer saga reopens.
But certainly for next season we will see something new in Madrid because with the conditions last season where they slightly suppressed their ego not to bring too many players then there will certainly be some changes that occur next season.
I mean they have Joselu there, think of it like that lol. If your alternative to Joselu is Mbappe, you "need" Mbappe. I understand the logic, like they could just buy some other striker that is far better than Joselu (not that difficult) and they would just do fine, do better than right now, so the logic that they do not need someone as good as Mbappe, a bit worse could still do fine is true.

But if you can get the best, getting just a little better is not really the alternative. If they can get Mbappe then they should, but if they can't then that's not the end of the world, they are at quarter finals of UCL and leading the league with Joselu, if they are that good with Joselu, with someone a bit better they can be superb.
279  Economy / Economics / Re: Why does a country borrow money from the world bank even when they can afford it on: March 26, 2024, 05:55:59 AM
Apple got a loan to build their campus, when they had 100 billion in cash. Honestly, I do not know why they wouldn't do it because I like to not have a debt, that personally is a very big deal for me and paying my debts back is something I really like to do and feel proud about, it is something as serious as anything else.

But. when we are talking about a situation where we can see the profits rising as much as we do, then we realize that they are making a debt to grow and make more later on. You build a bridge with the debt, and then charge anyone who use that bridge, and make profit, you build an airport and charge all the companies that work there, you make anything and charge and profit that way the debt turns into profit.
280  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: March 25, 2024, 07:16:02 PM
Max not being able to finish the race actually didn't made it so much more fun to be fair. Hamilton went away too, and the last crash of Russell was a horrible one, dude was quite scared if you heard the radio, he kept saying red flag over and over again so that everyone would slow down a lot, because yellow flag means they just slow down to delta, but red flag means that they end up slowing down to minimum pit stop levels, so a crash would be harder, but with yellow you are still racing just under delta levels and that means a crash would still be possible.

This is why I believe that he was actually quite scared, he was right at the middle of the road, and he was sideways, meaning that he could have gotten another car crash into him and could be dire. Thankfully, nothing bad happened.
