261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is not supported in some countries? on: March 02, 2018, 07:26:36 AM
I have heard that bitcoin is not supported in some countries. But why ? Is it because bitcoin is risky ? Some countries even declare 6 months jail if her people use bitcoin. Is it fair ? I mined few cryptos and have left mining. It was fun and challenging too. But I never got any clear answer. What does my gpu actually do ? I pay electric bill, my room temperature goes high and I get paid. With actually no skill on pc hardware and software. Whole thing is still pretty unclear to me

Because it is risky for state economics, some states might loose profit and it might damage national currency. Besides some government are not able to deal with related criminal problems and control income of citizens, so they cannot receive income taxes. So, they prefer banning.
262  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: March 02, 2018, 07:23:46 AM
I found a video on YouTube https://youtu.be/qTxPfxmkLIY that according to this man (Warren Buffett) said "Bitcoin doesn't meet the definition of a currency" and he said that "he would not be surprised if bitcoin is not around in 10 or 20 years".

Is he a hater of bitcoin? while other big names appreciate the bitcoin.

Your thoughts?

Now bitcoin does not meet the definition of currency, as dollar for example, it differs from fiat money, and this is normal it is something new and digitized. As to the existence of bitcoin in 5 or 10 years nobody knows what will happen, many things might be changed in this period of time.

Do you have any good reason to believe that the crypto market is going to grow this year? Do you think we may end up in all red? I do not see the growth and happy investing of last years.

I think that the price will be red or green, as always, it is always changing so do not be pessimistic.

Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

I do not think that they will die, it is impossible to develop crypto market without variety of coins. We need ICOs.
280  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Altcoins? Which is safer or more profitable? on: February 22, 2018, 08:17:56 AM
Hello family, I need to take an informed decision on this issue

With the present challenges with the blockchain technology and its present congestion ,

Is it still safe, wise and as profitable as before to start a fresh bitcoin investment?

I'm thinking that investing in a number of the other several altcoins might be much better

Pls I need your thoughts and opinions on this....thanks

I think it depends on the amount of investment, BTC and ETH are good for big investments, and other altcoins are better if you have less money.
