Yes of corse, S9"hydro" are totaly diferent hashboard I have files, i thinks is possible to unlock this !!! You just need SSH acces on your miner, if you have this, i post here my file and you try, ok ? i assum absolut not risk for your miner, only 3 text files (just save your original before)

I mean not for nothing that 75w a th is the lowest setting most people can get and no other firmware comes close. If you think about it this was a over 100w/th unit at one point.
on the S9 , if you take for exemple 600mhz at 820mv, if come by X or Y or Z firmware, the config is same, so the resultat is same to ! All custom firmware with all custom and asicboost, is possible to down to 75w, even more !!! on my firmware (i thinks same resultat with other) i agree to down to arround 70W ! but the hashrate is VERY LOW !!! With pleasure

Yes i totaly agree by this ! but on this mod, the pressure is very low! so, absolute not noise by holes, only litle noise by fan

No problem ! So , my test is approuved by S7 / D3 / T9+ and S9s ... i thinks is same this with all miners... for the T9+ and S9 of corse the best efficience is force litle up fan than stock ... i thinks arround 80% (at arround 20c temp ambient)

No , No , and NO !!! lol T9+ at 10,5th is original freq, so 575mhz, but at 790mv (with my firmware) ... The power efficiency is not full link by PSU ... I assure my say is correct and confirmed ! i have habit this ... If you want test by easy methode ... juste make your hand on "intake" fan of miner... monitoring the temp chips, normaly is higher every arround 10s , and see your wattmeter Please confidence of me PS : honestly i thought everyone knew that!

Hi all, i have found code on original firmware on S9 and T9+ for take control fan / freq / voltage I thinks, almost sur, the S9 hydro are same "error" from bitmain ... who is interested ? if interessed, tell me about If you have acces to SSH , i give you my personal files (only text files, absolu no risque for miner) for testing My mod is here : https://easyupload.io/uarpey (make this on firmware update on your miner webgui) Is make for running miner on FIXED mod ! so, take control FREQ + FAN ... is possible you take VOLTAGE control if you running on MULTI-OPT firm PS : NO CONTAIN BMMINER !!! so ... no problems ! If you have any problem, reflash your old firmware ! If update not work (no signature), you need take files manualy ... so ... open my mod and paste files on your miner by SSH : -bmminer.sh (/etc/init.d) -minerConfiguration.cgi + minerConfiguration2.cgi + set_miner_conf.cgi (/www/pages/cgi-bin)

Of corse, i confirm this ! for exemple , my T9+ at 10.5TH chips at 105c = 1170w arround chips at 80c = 950w arround And bitmain confirm this !!! just look exemple for T17 Power efficiency on wall @25°C, J/TH 55.00 58.85 Power efficiency on wall @40°C, J/TH 58.26 62.34 so , just try this !!! run S9 with fan full speed , look temp after 3min (stabilise temp) and run with same config but config the fan at low speed (to force up temp) ... and look power is more !!! Or for test, run S9 with fixed fan arround 20% ... at startup ... just look the power up every segonde ! So ! but this theorie is only true with fixed fan ... at autofan, the chips temp is regulated, the ambiant temp is 10 or 40c , just the fan speed change but the chips temp is arround same value! so, the power consum is only difered by fan power... Is valable at all miner, if you run this on lowtemp environement, run this with fixed fan (upper than original) for force down temp chips, and seed the efficiency, is better

More temperature: - More power consum - Down life of chips Down temperature: - Down power (more efficiency) - Up life of chips So , on my experience, my T9+ run above 105c at all time arround 2 years ! no problem ! is just info but i thinks is not recommended... but for me, no problem ! lol

Yeah ! absolut no problem !!! if you find better idea i take this with pleasure !!! so i don't a god So, for proof, i have take directly my finger at heatsink !!! VERY COLD at center lol (normal ! is directly in enter air flowing !) and for fan direction, i thinks my solution is better, i don't tell this so this by me, just i thinks is best idea... For fun ! overclock at 800mhz/930mv (hashboard come by 13th model, bad efficiency) by fan fixed at 100% , just look temps ! :p and at this time, i have removed fans, in running mode, and i touch the headsink, and, is not to hot (ambient temp is arround 20c) Ps : i have release my personal firmware for free for all, if you want try and take critique

your purpose is true only if the hole is smaller than air flow debit ! the proof is here, temp is very low on my configuration with my design, the hole are sized in fonction, so, if you turn the fan at full speed, ok, the hole is to small for this, but not interrested by this, my idea is make small pressure, just for good flow, at low speed fan ps : Philipma1957, you have try this ? what results ?

Thanks ! I'm embarrassed Hum... after reflection, i thinks, is possible to improve efficiency of cooling, by make 2 litle hole (arround 20mm) at two side... In this "project", my idea is make directly flow at center hasboard, but litle problem, the up and down chips at border hashboard is litle more hot, is not a problem (miner show final temp by chips 63 i thinks), but just funny to improve this :p

Hi all, i try to recycle part of miner ... I have take all parts, is funny : -T9 case -T9+ controler -S9 hashboard -My custom firmware (but compatible with LPM for exemple or other) I try at : -525mhz/850mv (max temp 62) -700mhz/910mv (max temp 80) Just look fan speed and temperature , ambient temp is arround 22c , Very good resultat !!! and very low noise, the psu make more noise :p, by very low cost (free) just make 2 hole (arround 50-60mm) Just for precision, on my "calculs' is very important do no make more larger of hole for assure to make air pressure at center hashboard at low speed fan, make hole at perfect center of miner at two side (look picture, so in absolute, juste turn the "in" fan). For finish, VERY IMPORTANT, air flow for the two fan point external... so, air flow take on miner ant outake external ! the fan blade need place in interne... just see picture ! for assure, on power on, the air need to outake on 2 fan ! no admission, admission is NOW on two news hole ! And, VERY IMPORTANT to, you need TWO SAME fan !!! if not, the air flow is not correct, and is possible one part of hashboard is not in air flow, and overheat !
