I have started a little giveaway for those that may have been bummed in the previous ones

This giveaway is closed, don't bother posting any more addresses as this topic won't be reopened.Hi, due to the relaunch of the main frozen thread without the previous shady main developer block_erupter, and as the previous giveaway threads didn't all pay out, I wanted to start a little giveaway as I am just a small holder myself. I am giving out 1.5 (updated) FZ per account, the only condition is that the account must be older than 2014 and have a minimum of 15 replies in the forum to prevent the worst. If you want to stock up this giveaway, I have created an address for donations. These donations will flow back by 100% into this giveaway, I am not keeping any donated coins. If you should be so eager to gift me anyway, you can use the address in my signature. Donation address to fuel the giveaway: F9CjA64u2b7MsrSwYvCxWN47Gm7SSRjm1V I will edit this post with the given donors and the amounts given. Edit 1: Received 50 FZ by KoningKaas, so this will keep up a little longer Edit 2: Another 100 and 50 FZ came in, thanks to trenton81 for his support! Edit 3: Another donation of 100 FZ by TheFourthSaint just rolled in, I am thinking about raising the amount of FZ per person, what do you think? Edit 4: Okay, I raised the amount to 1.5 FZ per user. With 282 FZ left this is enough for another 188 users. Edit 5: For users that posted their FZ already while the reward was only 1 FZ: Starting from this post you will have the opportunity to get your additional 0.5 FZ. This is only valid for the 30 people that post after linked post! (188 - (30*0.5)) = 173 * 1.5 to give! Edit 6: Another donation over 77 FZ came in from led_lcd ! Edit 7: as of 15:43 GMT +1 (14.01) there are over 300 coins given away! So go ahead, post your FZ addresses! Edit 8: This giveaway thread will be closed soon! I am smelling a lot of multiaccounting that is happening on the last pages with throwaway accounts that have been created around the same timespan with post histories that are looking pretty much identical. This giveaway thread doesn't have the purpose to make individuals rich. I have contacted led_lcd to give him his coins back and will close this thread as soon as the remaining funds are running out (which is not much more than 20 more posts). Edit 9: I am closing this giveaway prematurely. REASON

Nice to see that the community is still standing behind this project and that a coin doesn't have to die when the original dev is getting more and more shady.

I am currently trying to mine Offerings with smelter, while I was successful with getting it to work with frozen, I can't seem to find the error here: offering.conf: [...] listen=1 rpcuser=1 rpcpassword=x rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=1928 server=1 [...] And calling smelter with open wallet (same directory as .conf, of course) and: smelter -o http://127.0.0.1:1928 -u 1 -p x -w 64 -g 1 -i 200 -a QQcS8oJyWH2UiTZUN6qBZjYBWXtWFzhC4J getting the following result: Path/to/smelter>smelter -o http://127.0.0.1:1928 -u 1 -p x -w 64 -g 1 -i 200 -a QQcS8oJyWH2UiTZUN6qBZjYBWXtWFzhC4J smelter v0.3 (c) Smolen Royalty: 1/10 Failed to read source file: ./quark0td/kernel/kernelQuark.cl SummonProgram failed ThreadHost::Thread() unexpected exception:clCreateKernel call failed Error: Parse error, request:<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transit ional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd"> <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>Error</TITLE> <META HTTP-EQUIV='Content-Type' CONTENT='text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1'> </HEAD> <BODY><H1>401 Unauthorized.</H1></BODY> </HTML>

And so on, resulting in a crash. Did I mess up the config?

My idea so far is to have a sha-256 coin that has solomining disabled, and the source code released to only one pool. That pool then has a hash limit of 350Mh/s or so, kicking anything higher, so powerful asics can't be used, only USB eruptors and gpus.
I can probably make this coin myself, but if any more experienced coin makers want to they are free to help.
Donations would be extra helpful! BTC: 1A8NHoNJjTgX5hYn3HPnTmBx9kcWySdYNn
(EDIT- I just realized I will be unavailable for a day or two, but then should be here for any questions)
Thanks!
Ever heard of splitting your mining power? /thread

Smooth launch so far, giving the pools enough time to set up with the low-reward inital blocks.

Now the altcoin community is sabotaging itself.
I think this is exactly what that bitcoin developer had in mind when he created coingen.
Really? Is this how it's going to be now? Now everyone's a loser.
Good job.
I think of this to be necessary, most of us gained some btc during the dogehype and the few others that were able to get onto exchanges. This kind of cryptocurrency has to die, as its sole motivation is to increase the coins value and to make profit out of it. It is the perversion of the original intent of crypto currencies, as we are currently treating these "coins" as if they weren't a currency at all.

hes right its INFECTED, KILL " AsusLC.exe " in taskmanager and delete the same folder in appdata, there is the hidden trojan file
Congratulations, you found an infection on your computer that wasn't even caused by the wallet.

Soon as I saw the download bar in the wallet I closed it and deleted it. Pointless.
Premined? Wallet didn't load properly on the first start as it seems, here are the current stats. Yes, premined, and not just a little bit, here are the stats 5k before the current one, I deleted this one again as mining this makes no sense at all at this blocknumber & difficulty: { "version" : 60300, "protocolversion" : 60001, "walletversion" : 60000, "balance" : 0.00000000, "blocks" : 56558,"connections" : 5, "proxy" : "", "difficulty" : 0.08160681,"testnet" : false, "keypoololdest" : 1388957640, "keypoolsize" : 101, "paytxfee" : 0.00000000, "mininput" : 0.00010000, "errors" : "" } it was launched 2days ago :/ If u weren't there to mine it don't call it premined... So far best soft launch i have seen. Please give me an example of a coin that that didnt have early backers who mined it first :/ At least this isn't some pump and dump scam since the dev never cared to create a fuss about it or pay some exchange owner and put it on exchange the second day ( yes im talking abt moon coin ). Its weird how good coins always have so many haters. thanks for your very much support! we are really working hard for many days in order to make this coin stable and usable! Sorry for calling out a premine, I thought of this to be some kind of a launch topic, didn't do my homework.
