ummm... why would a company want to accept your coin just because it has VOD stamped on it rather than bitcoin which is more established and widely available. It doesn't seem any different from any other coins just a different name ? Or am I missing something here ?
Exactly, or, to sum it up: Why use a new coin if you could use Bitcoin. Or, if the price is your argument, one of the cheaper, but established altcoins? But eh, going to mine them anyway, always in for some quick pump&dump money. |

Why is everyone piling into this one pool? I can hardly get anything out of it now at this point with the equipment I'm using. Hey Block_Erupter there is a working frozen pool out there that you haven't posted on the front page. I've used this guys pools before and they're good. I agree that we shouldn't concentrate 90% of the nets hashrate at one pool, pointed my miner in your general direction. |

Bought some Frozen coins on Coinedup. I was surprised at how cheap they are right now.
So did I, had some spare BTC thanks to dumping some Mooncoin, I am interested on whether the soon-ish halfing of the block rewards will have an influence on the market price. |

Do i need too remove the blockchain files etc too when updating too a newer version? dont know if this is needed or not.
Updated the Block Crawler too the newest version too, seems to work fine without removing the blockchain files.
Afaik you do not need to remove the blockchain, the new launcher can handle an existing one. |

It bugged some more when I set an automatic payout threshold but displayed my balance after that and successfully paid me out. So rather a bugfest than a scam. |

I've set up a basic experimental stratum mining pool at http://propeng.com:7020 (actual stratum server is at stratum+tcp://propeng.com:7010). I haven't had enough time to test this, so if something doesn't work please stop mining and let me know. And don't forget to set up auto payouts. (your displayed hashrate and expected payout might be slightly off, this is irrelevant. you'll get payed as expected) Testing this one out atm, could you raise the auto-payout threshold from 25 to something that makes a little more sense @ 50k per block? |

It's going to be humorous when the trademark holders of nyan cat try to sue a decentralized currency... ...wait, we ARE all aware that Nyan Cat is a trademark whose misuse has led to lawsuits in the past, right?Does it really matter? The coin is already irrelevant with a 3 coin block payout and 37 million coin premine. Does anyone realize they will be getting about a thousandth of a coin per block from pools IF you have 1.5 MH/s? A hundred times this. Let's be honest: Is ANYONE actually thinking that this coin will do any better or live any longer than DOGE or CAT or whatever "to the MOONcoin" there was recently? Just have a quick thought: This coin won't live longer than a month. And in that range of time no one will care for copyright. Do you think the dev will ever be heard of or seen of again, once this coin hits exchanges? That the dev is actually caring enough to give long-time support for this coin and spread the friggin 10% of all coins that will ever be mined? Sure, he surely will spread some, but there is absolutely no way to proof that he won't keep a neat fat bunch for himself. Anything beyond 10 Satoshis per coin will be too much for this, I am smelling a huge dump within the days that this coin hits exchanges. Don't be foolish, this coin doesn't even have the potential for a good pump&dump, as even if you are lucky to mine a neat bunch of blocks in the first minutes of the launch, you very probably won't leave with much more than ~1000 coins. Compare that to 37,000,000 coins. Get it onto an exchange, make a dev really happy, have another dead coin. |
