Yes, I totally agree with you. The large growths of BTC are closely linked to the halving event, and the halving event of the LTC is nearing, so I think LTC's $ 200 goal is fully achievable this year.
IMO $200/ LTC will be only achievable if BTC goes above 11k in the near future without which LTC should sit at around $130-180 post halving. |

Of course, you can download the snapshot but every time the snapshot size kept increasing which almost more than 11GB now, which it might take some time for downloading and if you follow step by step your wallet will sync up to date.
Yes, the size of the blockchain is one of the major issues right now because it's not even one year yet and size is already 11GB+ but once you downloaded the snapshot it will hardly take an hour to fully sync to network. |

Downloading every time a new snapshot to enter your wallet is somewhat tiring, as for me...

You will only have to download the snapshot once after that the blockchain would sync much easily (If you have enough space on your HDD). |

its going to be a great project i so much believe that and also there is high probability its going to be a NO-ICO project. however there is tendency of this being centralized. this is what bothers me. but it will definitly be a good coin with so many use cases.

As admins, we're not supposed to talk about price. We don't know the factors for sure, but one that probably has contributed to price decrease was the Zerocoin vulnerability that was discovered, and we had to prevent from being used by temporarily disabling Zerocoin protocol. The vulnerability HAS NOT been used in Veil. Also, we plan to re-enable Zerocoin so that Zerocoin privacy goes live again, and we plan to implement some new privacy protocols and migrate away from Zerocoin to a more scalable private transaction system.
Is there any ETA for when you guys are planning to reimplement the zerocoin protocol into the chain? Or is it already implemented on the testnet version of the chain? |

It's a good time to buy. Mining difficulty is about the same, staking difficulty has sky rocketed.
Your definitely right about the Staking sky rocket. It's been almost 2weeks since my last block... And i'm continously adding like 1-200 a week so I would have assumed I was keeping up with the difficulty. I guess not  With the price going down at the moment we can expect the staking difficulty to rise even further up. Even with 6k Veils, it's getting harder to get a stake every 3-7 days. |
