MAX is better than YAC atm so yeah we should still mine it :p [2014-02-09 17:51:20] accepted: 10/15 (66.67%), 47659 khash/s (booooo) [2014-02-09 17:51:38] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 163178 khash/s [2014-02-09 17:52:04] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 0.00 khash/s [2014-02-09 17:52:04] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 46601 khash/s [2014-02-09 17:52:16] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 780, 162361 khash/s [2014-02-09 17:52:16] accepted: 11/16 (68.75%), 162361 khash/s (yay!!!) I like how it's back to the same old 4 people here now I am still mining MAXCoin, selling every single one I get from this pool to squeeze the last bit out of it :p
Also CUDA 5.5 might not even support the very latest editions of Visual Studio yet.
Christian
Indeed, Visual Studio 2013 (Yay university) doesn't have CUDA support.

Ok christian, the dif shoot up is so stupid now im going to have to go to a pool. Which pool is it your using again?
And can you drop me some numbers of earnings since starting please?
too lazy to scroll back 2-3 pages? max.netcodepool.org and I am earning about 20 MAX in 12 hours with 1 GHash mining power. But that number may change fast as the network difficulty changes. Also the exchange rates dropped badly - this is not looking so good now. Christian what's the next coin with a new algorithm where nvidia has an edge over ati? Whichever is the next one where the devs fuck up and the opensource CPU miner gets available 1 day before they release the coin
Definately a sinking ship, the value was good at the start but halves every time I sleep
Fixed my issue with the pool, damn antivirus blocked it without a message Edit: Still only 60% yays, I guess it's latency, even though I am on fiber in The Netherlands...

Weird, my fastest worker (3 GTX 780Ti ~ 540 MHash) gets just 80% accepted shares on max.netcodepool.org, but the other two workers (300 MHash and 178 MHash) get 96% and 98% accepted. As if faster workers have more trouble with the pool. Unusual.
Christian.
Weird, at first I had like 65% accepted and now I can't connect at all :s
Okay, I have everything (about 1 GHash) pointed at the pool now. One Windows box, two Linux boxes. No CPU validation errors. good accept rates verywhere. Let's see how this plays (pays) out over time.
Did my latest commit fix your CPU validation issues?
Christian
Even if netcodepool wasn't down, I couldn't tell you, I got one in total. Edit: Wouldn't T be capable of going faster eventually though?

calm down guys
Okay sorry
now i try running from x84 and getting the following message . this application has failed to start because MSVCR100.dll was not found? ? any ideas please? you said it all, not found... you need to add this library WRONG He needs to compile "Release" not "Debug" I'm sorry but you need to double check your facts before calling others wrong. He needs this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5555. He's not trying to compile anything. Then why did the 12-18 version work for EVERYONE without the .dll?

At the risk of sounding like too much like a noob, is there a great tutorial to show me the way to compile windows binaries off of the git? I'd like to clear up some of these Boo's. I'm about 80% efficient using two GTX 780's on smalltimeminer. Thank you Christian for all the hard work. I'm also having to run two instances of cudaminer. edit: In case anyone wants to know Quite easy: Get Visual Studio Pro 2010 (Trial if you must) Get Cuda SDK 5.5 Get the source code from github (google cudaminer) Exctract source code in it's own folder Get libraries from first post by Christian (almost 50mb) Extract libraries to the same folder that the source code folder is in, so not to the source code folder but one up. Open the .sln file in the source code with Visual Studio. Select which version you want to compile, and compile it Oh come on, atleast credit me ¬¬

Page 130 wow, in this thread this is way back, like in the middle ages... Well, we've grown big since that time And some people finally recognize cudaminer as a valid way to mine with NVidia, so lot of new people all the time. Edit: Bitcoins should stop dropping ¬¬

the cpu usage shouldn't be so high.
This is true, my rates have lowered a small bit though... Edit: The T kernel goes mad.

I compiled latest GitHub, still a few boooos and 99% gpu usage and 90%tdp, any protips?

I am now getting only accepted shares from that pool, from 3 GPUs mining in a single cudaminer instance. 300 MHash from my side. Looking good.
After letting it run for a while I got 309/325 shares acccepted on max.netcodepool.org. That looks pretty reasonable for me. Christian Sounds like you're doing quite a bit better than me then... Their confirmation email is not incoming...
worked for me. check your SPAM folder maybe. Yeah I got it now, their system is a bit different from others.

Now mining on that new pool, I want to have > 2BTC so badly lol. I was *just* short on it, because people keep selling the coins for too low :/
Edit: Their confirmation email is not incoming...
Edit Account, Enter PIN, Unlock, Check Spam folder. Thank you! 67.65% gets accepted, it's not terrible lol, I just need a small amount more to get my 2 full bitcoins :p
